Great little hotel. Secure underground parking 100m from the main entrance @ 15 Euro for 24 hrs. Lovely rooms, service and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Ideal location. The Sunday market was 200m from the hotel and the general feel to Lille was wonderful. We will be going back when it's a little warmer as we literally decided to stop over on our way home from our skiing trip the day before.

Very Comfortable stay. Rooms though small are well appointed and maintained. however a kettle in the room would enhance experience.

Hotel de la Treille is perfectly placed in the cobbled streets of the Vieux Ville, close to fabulous shops and restaurants that serve wonderful food. Everywhere is within walking distance. Hotel rooms are small but beautifully decorated and with modern facilities. Would definitely recommend to others.

Ideally situated for all bars, restaurants, shops etc. Didn't do breakfast as far too expensive for what you get, car parking very poor, the underground car park was closed(£14/day) so found a place up behind the Ibis Budget hotel, quite a long walk.The hotel rooms are nice but dont have air conditioning so we had to leave windows open which is noisy, very noisy as hotel is in middle of a square, dust carts and street cleaners start really early.

Hotel rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast room under renovation so non existent. Wi fi is advertised as free but is 9 euros in your room and only free in the unusable ground floor. Staff polite but disinterested rather akin to a chain, not an independent. However, the big negative is the parking. Very few spaces in the public square limited to one hour so you have to return every hour to put a 2 euro ticket on the car. All in all I was rather disappointed. I have stayed in 10 hotels over the past 3 weeks including chains and this is the only one that I would not return to.

The hotel was in the process of being refurbished in all the public areas. However, the rooms had already been refurbished and the one we had was beautifully done. We were very central to the old town and extremely close to all the restaurants and bars. Wouls certainly recommend it

The double room we have been given is very small, I should have paid for single room to be honest. Overall it has a good location and newly decorated.

Great little hotel that is located in a great part of the city. You can walk everywhere. Tons of restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes walking. Only complaint was no air conditioning and no wi fi. Hotel staff was supe nice and ver willing to help find a good place to eat or have a drink.

Always enjoy this hotel....love the location. They are undergoing renovations which will make it even better. The gentleman at the front desk are most kind and always very helpful.

Not such a great value for money, as it is presented on the website. Very friendly staff.

This was a fine hotel to stay at for the weekend. The room was clean, the people at the reception were nice. However, two complaints: First, the elevator smelled like urine. Fortunately, I was on the first floor so I just made sure to take the stairs. Second, the walls are very thin, so you will be able to hear the muffled conversations and TVs of the other guests on your floor, and you will also know it when anyone else in the hotel takes a shower or flushes the toilet. All in all, I'd probably stay there again if ever go back to Lille for a night or two if the price remains low.

Fantastic location and good hotel in this very interesting and attractive city. Good for a city break or romantic weekend, lots to see all within a compact area and loads of nice little shops and eating places. I wish we had had another day and would go back in the Spring.. Room, clean and perfectly adequate, if a little small but what you would expect for 3*.

Lille Xmas market was good but small. Location of Hotel was excellent and most sights are within walking distance. Lille has a good selection of restaurants. Hotel Treille room was very small. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff were all very helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast was excellent - lots of choice, well presented, can't fault it. Had issues with noisy revellers passing the hotel at night (we had a front facing bedroom) Party-goers were still around at 3.30 in the morning! After the first night, a hasty purchase of ear plugs enabled me to get some sleep on the second night. But then , it was a weekend. The hotel is extremely convenient for all the sights - only a ten minute walk to the station and other tourist spots very close. Tram & metro very easy to use and plenty of buses around. Would certainly use the hotel again if we return to Lille.

The hotel is in a perfect location< 15min walk for Lille Europe, 10 mins from centre of town, and some lovely restaurants near by. Room though very dissappointing, tired decor, worn very basic furniture and no tea or coffee making facilities in room. Clean but afraid funny smell of cleaning fluids. The buffet breakfast was good with a large selection of food choice and staff very helpful. All in all fine for a one night stay as location is so good, but a little too tired and basic for me, and would not have been happy if I had booked to stay for a longer holiday.

The hotel is in an amazing location, right in the centre. Just make sure you ask for a room facing one of the back streets, or the inner courtyard - mine was facing the main street and it was very loud. Breakfast overpriced for what they give you, you would probably be better off grabbing some food in one of the cafes.

Absolutely disappointing! I decided to take a chance despite the reviews..... bad idea! We arrived at 12.30pm only to be told by a very rude unapolegetic mature manager that our room won't be ready till an hour later. Upon our return a couple of hours later,we had to drag our suitcases through very narrow -whitehouse like stairs- right up to the very top floor to a tiny stale smelling room with no tea/coffeee facilities and not worth watching tv. The younger man at the desk when we checked out was much pleasant but the overall service was terrible.The old town location of the hotel is lovely and a short distance to the man square. We had a lovely meal at a nice restaurant few doors away next door to a cake shop. Lille is such a beautiful city....BUT definatley not staying at this hotel again!

This was our second stay at the Hotel de la Treille. It is ideally situated in Lille's Old Town and only a 15 minute walk from the Eurostar station. The rooms aren't large but they are comfortable, and we found our first floor room at the back overlooking the Cathedral to be quiet. Our bathroom was well-appointed but contained the only mirror, as there wasn't one in the room. Unfortunately, this time mosquitoes were a problem! There was a good choice at breakfast, including fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereals, various types of bread and pastries, cheese, ham and yogurts. One criticism - the coffee wasn't always hot. The staff were pleasant and very helpful, especially Manu. Overall, we felt we got good value for money. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. We understand the hotel will shortly be undergoing refurbishment and hope this will include proper wardrobes rather than just the hanging space as at present.

Great hotel. Nice and clean, and in a fantastic location in a surprisingly charming city. Would definitely stay here again. Only potential negatives are that the rooms get a little stuffy (but the area is quiet enough to open your windows and still be able to sleep), and the hotel requests that you turn in your key each time you leave. Also, one day our room was cleaned despite the fact that we had the "do not disturb" sign out. No big deal and the positives far outweigh the negatives!

Location of this hotel could not be better, and the staff were friendly. However, the room was very small. The main problem was the noise. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and from midnight onwards the noise was constant. On Saturday it continued until after 5 am, and over the 2 nights we probably got less than 5 hours sleep. Our room overlooked the square on the third floor, nice view during the day, but the square seemed to echo at night.

A nice clean hotel with friendly staff. I found the bed uncomfy and the room a little cramped. The hotel is in a nice are and only a little walk to the centre or christmas markets. We were satisfied with our stay.

This hotel was a delightful little accommodation right upon the old Lille, very close to the resturants and bars main area. Short walking distance into the main city area with lovely shops, cafes, restaurants, bars as well as museums, galleries and other tourist attractions. Great hotel for a short stay in centre Lille, a picturesque building and plenty of underground parking facility very close by. Recommended for driving into Lille, and leaving car while you explore the delights of Lille.

bonnes mais la chambre est trop petite

Bon séjour, chambre un peu petite et serviette des toilette discrètement rangées dans les tiroirs. Personnel très serviable.

Accueil sympathique à la réception, service de chambre très aimable, personnel qui sert le petit-déjeûner nettement moins. Salle de bain nécessite réparation (eau coule dessous la baignoire), inondation après chaque douche.

BEL EMPLACEMENT MAIS TROP BRUYANT! MAL INSONORISE

Trés mauvaise chambre bruyante au dessus d'une terrasse de café et la deuxième chambre forte odeur désagréable.

très bien situé pour découvrir le vieux Lille

Les chambres sont neuves, belles et confortables. Le hall était en plein travaux, ça devrait être vraiment pas mal une fois fini. Le personnel est agréable. Seul petit bémol : le check out à 11h30 maxi, c'est un peu tôt. l’hôtel est très bien placé dans le vieux Lille. Je recommande.

Très bonne nuit passé à 2 pas du centre ville et du Vieux-Lille. Hôtel en travaux du coup prestation "petit-déjeuner en chambre" au même prix qu'en salle.

chambre très agréable , décoration récente ,dommage quelle soit trop petite et non climatisée (coté rue).

Attention le restaurant réputé ouvert tous les jours ne l'est pas le WE.

Les avis donnés sur le site nous avaient un peu échaudés, et au final notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé : emplacement stratégique, lit très très confortable (nous avions une des chambres rénovés), une bonne optimisation de la petite taille des chambres sur l'essentiel, un accueil souriant. Le petit dé est correct et complet, même s'il n'y avait pas de Maroilles !
