Great location and the price i paid cannot be beaten ( it was cheaper than travelling home late at night from Manchester after a works do) but I would be loathe to pay more! There were cleanliness issues eg toothpaste marks in the sink and the beginnings of mould in the shower, plus the whole place was clearly furnished on the cheap and reminded me of a student flat. Overall very convenient and perfectly functional but don't expect luxury!

Very big room n very suitable for 2 couples or whole family. Facilities like microwave oven r unexpected.

My favorite hotel. Great appartments, very friendly and professional staff, relaxed atmosphere. And nice food.

The hotel is very good. The reception staff were excelent and for some reason i was upgraded - which was fab The only downside was the pressure of water in the bathrooms which was not as good as you would want other than that excellent place to stay , good central location, really easy for Picadilly Station I would stay there again !

Checked in just after 3, had only booked a one room apt, we were told that the room wasn't ready, but would be upgraded at no charge, we ended up with a 2 bed penthouse, which was fantastic, plenty of room for the 2 of us, unfortunately, we were only there for one night as we had gone for the Christmas markets, only complaint would be that they leave a very small carton of milk in the fridge !!

We arrived in Manchester early and the place was only 5 minutes from Piccadily station, check in was at 3pm so reception looked after our bags until we returned. It was only a 5 minute walk to piccadilly gardens/ arndale shopping centre. We returned to the place just before 3pm and our room still wasn't ready so we waited around for 10 minutes whilst it was prepared. The ground floor reception had a nice bar and restaurant and the reception staff were friendly. Our apartment was on the 5th floor, the one bed apartment was very spacious, lounge, kitchen, diner, bedroom and bathroom. There was a tv in both the lounge and bedroom. The kitchen had all appliances you could need so it was easy to cook a meal if you wanted to. Apartment cleaned daily and linen/towels changed I would say the only downside and this is my personal view was that it was a big spacious apartment yet the shower cubicle was quite small and didn't really fit in with the rest of the apartment. Even though it was freezing outside, there was no need to put any heaters on as the apartment was already warm. There was very little noise eminating from other apartments or outside so we got 3 good nights sleep. Would I stay there again, definately !!!

Great location for City Center attractions - and right by the train station, very convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food in the 'garden' bistro was good value for money. The atrium gives a realistic outdoor feel ... The room was fabulous - stayed in a Penthouse suite - absolutely amazing view of the city, the facilities in the room were fantastic and the furnishings really comfy. Definitely stay here again

Very close to the train station and city centre shops, within walking distance of MEN arena - great location.

Disappointed with this hotel It is more like a 3 Star hotel - Poorly maintained - mould in shower - broken shelf unit in bathroom - cheap worn scratched poorly fitted wooden floor boards (more than just wear & tear) - kitchen not cleaned. The best thing about the Hotel is that the rooms are very big & a great location. The staff are helpful & courteous. The car park is expensive there are cheaper NCP carparkd near by.

We were 3 girls that stayed in a two bedroom apartment for a weekend. Manchester is not that big so it was nice to walk to all the shops, bars/clubs and restaurants. We are very happy with the hotel and if we ever come back to Manchester we will stay there. It is just 100 meters away from the trains station!

An impresive building. Staff were lovely. Defo reccomend to everyone.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. I took a friend and we stayed in a gorgeous two bedroom apartment with amazing city views that we could enjoy comfortably from the window seats in our room- a lovely touch. Everything about the rooms, and the hotel, was so comfortable, and accommodating. I would most certainly visit again if I was to stay in Manchester. The dinner that we had in the restaurant was exquisite, and the Pinot Grigio divine. All in all, a wonderful experience :)

An excellent hotel in a great location with very spacious rooms. Slight issue was the rooms were quite hot and no a/c - it got to 25 degrees in our baby's room until we opened all the windows and kept the doors open. Also a slight confusion over parking so make sure you leave your car registration with the front desk when you arrive. All in all a very good choice and would use them again.

I stayed here for a 3 night business trip. It was home from home, much nicer to have a sofa to sit on rather than an uncomfotable hotel room chair. Very spacious, open plan "loft" living. If you like chintz and lots of soft furnishings you will feel out of place.

Great location, liteally 2minutes walk from piccadily train station. Upon arrival, nice lobby area with very helpful and friendly staff. The courtyard area was lovely, getting into our room we were pleased with the vast facilites provided, iron/ironboard, washine machine/tumble drier, hairdrier etc and even a dishwasher! However the quality of the fixtures and some of the facilities were not up to 4* standards. The bathroom was basic, could of done with a refurb, and the shower head was one of the worst ive seen/used, not much water pressure atal! I was exepcting a nice power shower but was left very disappointed with that. The bedroom was a tight squeeze with a not very comfortable bed but the decor was lovely, very rustic feel however again a very cheap office like carpet. Overall we were pleased with our stay but if we hadnt of got such a good deal when booking we would have certainly complained as it wasnt upto 4* standards atal.

First time I stayed in an ApartHotel and it was excellent. All the facilities of a hotel (gym, bar) but you have your own Apartment. Perfect when travelling alone. Excellent value for money, friendly staff, close to the station. I even got upgraded. Definately recommend.

We rented a room for one night at this hotel based on the Frommer's travel guide recommendations. That book couldn't have been more wrong. The room was dirty, the plumbing was noisy, the kitchen counters needed to be wiped down and the complimentary items (like coffee, tea, sugar, cream, etc.) were all gone/used except one packet of sugar. The other areas of the hotel (ie. not our room) were very nice-looking, but if the room isn't up to par, then the hotel failed.

one of the best accommodations ever. spent a night with my wife and in-laws. loved it. will stay there again any given time.

The "rooms" are full apartments in a renovated factory or warehouse right behind the Piccadilly Station in downtown Manchester. Everything was spotless and it was wonderful to relax on the sofa watching TV in the evening and then having snacks (or a full dinner) prepared in the full kitchen, eating at the dining room table. The morning breakfast was a full buffet in the restaurant. It was short walk to the central bus and tram terminal and easy to get anywhere in the city. i took the train to and from the MAN airport less than 5 minutes from the hotel.

I liked the place very much.it was in the heart of the city center,the apartment was very big. I found the bath room not being cleaned, and on repeated complain about the exhaust not working in the bathroom.It was not fixed. Customer service needs improvement. Over all I will stay there again.

The rooms are extremely large and clean and very well equipped, and comes with free internet access, and tea/coffee. The location is excellent - less than 5 minutes walk to the train station; and about 10 minutes walk to the National Express coach station. The hotel is also within walking distance to Piccadily Garden where all the shoppings and restaurants are. In addition, Chinatown is also very nearby. Excellent location. Food and drinks are within easy reach. Highly recommended. Very satisfied with this hotel.

This apartment hotel was excellent, superb value for money. Kitchen had everything you could want it was better than home!!! Would not hesitate to return. Area in Manchester was very central walked to Manchester GMex every day easily. close to Arndale Centre, Theatre, Art Gallery.

Much better hotels out there a lot cheaper!

Great location, next door to Picadilly and a 10 min walk or £5taxi fayre to the centre. We ate in the restaurant set menu 2 courses for £10 beautiful food, amazing value for money. Great girlie weekend, would definatley recommend for a more sophisticated weekend away.

This is a great location in the city centre for a superb price. You get all the comforts of an apartment, with the conveniences and perks of a hotel. The rooms are extremely roomy. There's a few markets close by, so you can stock up of morning goods if you want to save your quid from eating out. The outside window for my room only existed from the bedroom, hence getting natural light in the other areas wasn't possible. There is a large window on the atrium, which provides some filtered natural light. But also concedes to a lack of privacy - be sure to roll down the shades - Service seems to always roll them up after cleaning the apartment. Also as I arrived in Manchester early, I was able to store my luggage at the hotel for a few hours before checkin, allowing me to explore the city without toting my bags around town. It's situated a few hundred meters from Picadilly Rail station and about 4-5 blocks from Picadilly Gardens. You can pretty much walk to much everywhere in the city within 30 minutes or so, including Sportcity. Since you are close to rail and tram, you can quickly hop a train/tram/coach to pretty much anywhere further. Free wireless internet is a plus here, as I found locating free internet difficult in Manchester. My only complaint would be the Bed with a bit flat and lumpy - not the most comfortable, but not as bad as pullout or sleeper sofa. I'd highly recommend the Place Hotel and would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Apartment's are ina great location, staff are very helpful. Only criticism would be the shower wasn't very good and the rooms could probably be a little cleaner.

My stay was a mixture of business and pleasure and I can't find any fault with this hotel. Very central and close to everything, good parking, wifi and everything you could possibly need in an appartment. Very comfortable accommodation and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.

We enjoyed 3 days at the hotel. Great place to stay as a family. The appartement had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. Nice to have the opportunity to make breakfast and coffe in the appartement. The hotel has a good location and the staff is really friendly.

These apartments are like home from home with every facility and comfort one would have in their own home, i.e. en-suite bedrooms, bath, shower, fridge, freezer, oven with 4 electric rings, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, TV and the apartments were so warm.

Large apartment hotel. Standard apartments open onto the inner courtyard with inward facing windows so could be a bit noisy. We have a deluxe on the corner so a little more private. Overall an excellent experience over Christmas and new year. On the positive: - Good and responsive staff - Absolutely massive appartment - Good parking - OK food - Excellent location - Good kitchen facilities - Free wifi - Good prices On the downside - One radiator not working - One window not properly hinged - big draft - Poor quality matresses - student digs standard - Seems prone to large parties of younger party animals... Overall a recommend. Value for money.

The Hotel is very convniently located close to Picadilly Station and the tram stops. It is a short walk to the shops and China Town. The apartment itself is very well equiped particularily the kitchen. Despite the fact that there appeared to be a large number of groups staying in the hotel there was very little noise. The bathroom was a little tired but perfectly functional. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant stay - apartment was a good size Beds quite comfy.. Went to the MEN same night - when we returned the rooms were lovely and warm . Thank you for a very enjoyable stay....will come again PS - I emailed over to hotel yesterday re- my blackberry phone charger (let in room) have you any news ??

Stayed here fore a girly night out. Apartment was great - clean spacious and well equipped. We requested some ice for drinks and it was delivered to our room within minutes. Teabags, coffee, sugar and milk were provided as well as dishwasher tablets and washing up stuff. Perfect location, a minutes walk from picadilly station and close to the main shopping areas as well as within walking distance of the printworks (although a taxi here is really cheap, only couple of quid). Use car park and that was fine. Left our bags once checked out - were a little dubious as you just leave them at the side of teh reception but there is a porter 'on guard' and all was fine. Only negative was the queue for check out.

Excellent location right next to Piccadilly train station and walking distance to shops and nightlife. Booking in advance secured a very good rate. Also useful is the on site underground car park which is available at a reasonable charge. Check in was friendly and efficient. Apartment was a nice size and well equiped. Having stayed here on numerous occasions I much prefer the space on offer to a standard hotel room. You can pick up provisions from the nearby supermarket, or there are plenty of choices in take-away deliveries to the apartment complex. If wanting to head out, Chinatown, Canal Street etc. all in walking distance.

The best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Large spacious rooms, extremely clean and well maintained, comfortable beds, beautiful building, great staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Place Apartment Hotel is convenient to downtown Manchester and Picadilly Station. The rooms are large and the facilities (cooking, dishwashers, clothing washer/dryers) are a strong plus. The rooms are well prepared and the staff is very helpful when asked. This visit was a bit better than prior ones because our room overlooked the canal boat basin so was a bit quieter than rooms looking out towards Picadilly.

right beside train station , very central location to city centre, nice hotel stayed here with parents and daughter aged 14, 2 bedroom apartment, only natural light was a window in one of bedrooms , but you get used to this felt very safe here, no rowdiness, had a few hen parties over the weekend but they werent too disturbing , yes would recommend staying here, suitable for all young and old
