Nice hotel. However the breakfast was mediocre. The food at times ran out and employees were slow to replenish the dishes. Also the hotel needs different cups used for coffee. I believe stepping up the food would be a big plus. Would stay there again if the occasion arose.

I did not expect much from a "cheaper" option hotel. I was very impressed. The customer service was the absolute best you will ever get at a hotel for the money. Cleanliness was top notch, they keep this place maintained very well overall.

Hotel was fine but you have to drive to Main Street. Breakfast was great!

Overall the stay at the Best Western was good. However, the pillows offered virtually no support and we woke up with neck pain.

Very nice Best Westen and would recommend it to friends. First rate breakfast.

BW in Fredeicksburg was a wonderful place for our family. It was very comfortable and clean with a terrific breakfast. It was perfect for our needs.

We were very pleased with this hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us good information about the area. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was quite large. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very enjoyable. Staff was exceptionally polite, knowledgeable, and willing to help us. Our only improvement suggestion would be to make sure that the a/c can run on 'high', as the day we were there, it was very hot outside and needed a little more power. Breakfast was a pleasure - the place was kept very clean, and food items were replenished very quickly.

This hotel was way above my expectations. I have never stayed in a BW but it was the only hotel available for my stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was amazing, we stayed in the suite and it was really above all expectations. It was very roomy, bathroom was huge and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was nice. The only bad thing I can even think of was the pool was dirty and cloudy and the hot tub smelled like gym socks. Other than that, the stay was great. I would stay again for sure.

Booking ths hotel with hotels.com was so simple. Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable. Right away we felt a warmness as we were greeted by desk clerk, Lee. The king bed was quite comfortable. Everything in our room was in great working condition. The shower head was big & made you feel like you had a warm water fall on your head. Breakfast was terrific & such an assortment. The decor at this hotel is 'Texas'....wonderful cowboy paintings & western theme throughout the hotel. We will stay at this hotel next time we visit Fredericksburg!

Excellent choice for the price.

We paid a competitive, moderately low rate for the area. And so, our expectations were moderated. But, we were impressed by the cuteness of the hotel, the cleanliness and space of the room we had, and the nice staff. It's a really cute place with a lot of local charm and personality. We went during the holidays, and there was a Christmas tree and stockings hanging from the fireplace. The breakfast room was nicely decorated and had an antique piano. There was a communal computer for use. And even though the literature that I saw online indicated that "High Speed Internet was accessible," which usually means it costs $10 a day, there was free wi-fi. I wish I had brought my computer, but I didn't because I hadn't confirmed by telephone about the wi-fi. Only two concerns: 1. there weren't enough softer pillows, so my husband had a hard time sleeping. and 2. when we went, the side door lock was broken, so the hotel was fully accessible and unlocked from the side the whole time. I didn't think anything bad was going to happen, but a lock to the hotel from the side is a must.

The staff really went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Felt like home away from home. Thank you.

My girlfriend and I stayed in a room on the first floor and we could hear every movement from the room above us. Not to mention whenever a neighboring room took a shower we could hear it. It was not worth the amount of money paid for the weekend, especailly talking to family members and friends that have stayed in different hotels or B&B's in the surrounding area.

I was concerned about the location, but it was close enough to everything. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel.

Was very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The room was big and comfortable. The pool was amazing clean and cold on a quite warm day. And the price made it a value coming in a good twenty dollars under the nearest competitor. Not only would I stay again, it is the place I plan on staying and the price and amenities make it a more attractive place to stay even longer on our next visit.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of my room. This is not one of the new fancy motels, but it is built well and has the modern conveniences; rooms have been sanctioned off for those with pets or who smoke. It is a little off the beaten path, but easy to find; its close to the Fredericksburg hospital. The owner happened to be there to help me with my bill; he was patient and appears to have family who help him in the business. They take an interest. The neighborhood isn't posh, but quiet. I'm a woman alone and I felt safe; latches on the inside of doors, the rooms are in a hallway inside, windows are sturdy and have sturdy locks. I felt safer there than I would have felt had I gone to a motel on main street or in an area with expensive homes. I highly recommend for a safe and pleasant stay. And very clean!

We loved our room location at the BW in Fredericksburg, TX. The location was perfect for a restful end of the day. Each morning I awakened to a nature show outside of my window with a stately oak tree that contained seven bird nests. The bird watching was a delight to me as I was able to enact with nature as I sat and enjoyed my morning coffee. The service was excellent, the accommodations were wonderful. I would highly recommend this Best Western Plus in Fredericksburg. I loved the town of Federicksburg, it reminded me of Breckenridge, Aspen, and Estes Park as far as the main street of shops and restaurants. I would love to come back and stay at the BW and enjoy the Hill Country.

The desk clerks were very friendly, professional and helpful. But this hotel is so way overpriced for what you get, there are less expensive hotels at better quality. The hotel's dryer broke so when we got back to our room we had no towels and didn't get any until after 8pm. The elevator had a strong odor and the hallway had strong smoke odor. The hot breakfast was great in appearance but not in quality or flavor. The beds however were very comfortable and the room was cleean with no odor. The airconditioner is on the west side of the building so it struggled to cool the room wihich got cool by 10pm. The inroom coffee was some off brand that was not drinkable. The pool and pool area was the smallest I have ever seen at a motel and felt crowded with only 4 people there. This property not up to Best Western standards and priced double what it is worth for sure. We will look for a better more relaxing place next visit.

Not a truly bad hotel, but extremely overpriced for what you get...Carpet in hallways is dirty and needs updating. This is not on the main drag through town which is actually a plus. This hotel is priced similarly to some of the very luxurious venues in town and as such is a comparative rip-off. For the money, there are MUCH nicer places to stay in Fredericksburg.

We prefer to stay out and away from the hustle and bustle,, and this Best Western was a good spot to be. It was convenient to downtown and the highways going out of town. We usually base ourselves in town, visit the shops and restaurants, but also we get out on the roads to area interests as well. This is a once a quarter visit for us.

We loved the atmosphere of Best Western Fredericksburg. Our only real complaint would be of the Continental Breakfast. The food was fine, but both days we were there the good things ran out, particularly the biscuits for the gravy. We were not the early birds to breakfast, but certainly not the last either. If it is advertised as being from 6:30 to 9:30 ( I think that is right ), then there should be enough food to go at least most of that time. No one was out filling up things as they ran out. The food was good ....just not enough. And also the side door going out did not lock when closed. Not very safe.
