Red Lion Hotel Boise Downtowner - بويز

Te only complaint I have is about the bad signal on the wifi and the difficulty for setting the temperature in the room. The thermostat was complicated, I thought I set it according to the directions but I woke up sweaty in a room almost 10 degrees hotter than what I set it for, but that was user error I suppose. The beds were really comfortable and the pool was really nice, but note that it is outdoors. We were on the third floor and it was really quiet up there. I think being on the third floor however might account for the bad wifi signal. The location is walking distance from downtown, albeit not right in the heart of down town, but it's only about 7 blocks to get to the middle of downtown.

Very adequate for our needs.

Overall, it was a very nice hotel. The room was a bit tired, with older furnishings and carpets. The staff was nice, the bed comfy and I liked being less than a mile from my son's apartment. Being only a 15 minute walk from the greenbelt and from downtown, was nice, but the neighborhood you have to walk through to get to those two places leaves something to be desired. The breakfast buffet was not wonderful, but it was cheap. I'd stay here again if other hotels are full, but it would not be my first choice.

I was kinda skeptical of this hotel but once we walked in it was very nice and the staff was very nice as well. The rooms were nice the bed was so comfy and the room was at a good tempature I will def stay here again next time I want to go downtown

Great bed, great service, room was very clean.

I thought that the hotel was very nice. Staff was accomadating and room was very comfortable. The only thing that I thought was a little rough was that there was a school bus full of kids there and they were running up and down the halls at night. I heard them till about 2:00 A.M. I get it that they are kids but I would have thought someone else would have complained about them.

Hotel was very clean. Good location near the MS walk. Room was comfortable.

A slightly aging hotel in a middle class commercial neighborhood yet just a few minutes from downtown Boise. Helpful staff. Pretty good bar, so-so restaurant. Not many other restaurant choices nearby.

If you're looking to be downtown this is a great spot. You can walk to everything. The hotel was fine, a little out dated but fine overall. I would probably look for another hotel in a similar location if I was going back there.

Had a great expierience. I left my shoes by accident and housekeeping recovered them called me back and left them at the front desk for me. I was so relieved. Thank you

Not much clean but it's ok

Room was great. Hotel Lobby, Cafe and Corridors need to be upgraded.

We travel extensively with our daughter who plays basketball and softball. We have stayed in numerous hotels around the Western US. Loved our King size bed. . . very soft. Pillows may have been a bit too soft, but loved the generous amount of pillows!! Loved the sink on the outside of the bathroom...something rare at Hotels. I love a dark room. . . plenty dark. and for the most part. . . Quiet!!! Just heard a couple of door slams. . . but no talking in the hallway. . . .vey nice!! Close enough to my very favorite seafood shack. . . Joe's!!!

Very, very pleased

I loved that the house keepers didn't knock and wake me up to clean the room. I woke up at 11:00am was gone by 12:00pm when I returned at 6:00pm too was cleaned. The staff was friendly and helpful with finding activities to do. I'll stay there again.

Very dated property. Staff were nice, but when there is dirt and dried drippings on door handles/etc., how good can that be? Definitely a one to two star facility - no higher.

My friends and I only stayed for one night as we were only in town for the Potato Bowl. The hotel room was comfortable and large enough for 4 adults for an overnight stay. We wish the beds were a true 'queen' size for more comfort, but the 'full' size beds were fine for the night. Large bathroom and plenty of towels. The hotel shuttle was also great - they took us downtown to the restaurants and bars at no additional cost. The hotel is also very close to downtown, so taking a taxi back home after a night out cost $6. The front desk was helpful and polite. I would stay again!

My stay was great, the lounge had great food and wine. Coffee Cafe was over priced! The room was clean the service was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. However, I think the cofffe should be complimentry and not charge 2.00 for a bottle of water in your room.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and very nice. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we have slept on, which is something we look for over everything else. The breakfast was very good! We would defintaley stay here again.

The hotel itself is fine. Needs a little updating but clean and nice quality ammenities. The room across the hall seemed more like a makeshift night club, yelling, screaming, loud music, slamming doors and about 10-15 drunk college age kids. This went on till about 3 am. Hotel staff seemed unconcerned and totaly indifferent. No offer to discount my nights stay, or any form of reconciliation.

Reasonable Price and Quality for a Reasonable Rate - Good location for access to downtown Boise - Breakfast Buffet was just okay (for a reasonable price) - I would stay again at the hotel

Clean and comfortable nothing overly special nothing overly disappointing.

Very comfortable and clean. Also economical.

Location is convenient. Clean rooms. Restaurant menu and room service need improvement.. Everyone was very helpful in every way. I would say that your customer service is excellent and that makes all the difference for a pleasant stay. I will definitely stay in your hotel next time I visit Boise, Idaho..

Our room was very clean & quite the bed was comfortable. I was a little worried about a review talking about the strip club close by, it was no problem at all.

This hotel was up to date,clean, and had very comfortable beds for a decent price.

Hotel is a good value that is downtown Boise, the rooms are clean and functional for a business traveler and I would stay there with my family. The only draw back to this hotel is the Restaurant, it's not very good; even the free breakfast needs help. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

I thought the location was pretty lousy... next door to a strip bar and not really close to any good restaurants.. I was told I could walk 5 or 6 blocks to some good locales - downtown area. The room was clean though and the bar was friendly and great drinks. They have a breakfast buffet for $5.25 and it pretty much has the basics - pretty good deal. The pool is outdoor and not heated and the doors leading to the pool area were super dirty and needed attention. But we did use the hot tub and it was pleasant. I personally would not stay there again - only because of the location...
