Convenient location. Less than a mile away from theme park. Staff was super helpful throughout stay. Room was comfortable. Our only complaint is the carpet- they should probably consider replacing it with ceramic tile.

It was just ok!

The check-in was very speedy and the woman at the front desk was pleasant. When we arrived at our room though, before I could even step in and turn on a light the smell of damp and smoke hit us. We went back to the front desk and she said they were pretty full, but had 2 other rooms I could check out. The 2nd room smelled 200% better. The room was a great size. It had a seperate living and bed room. It also had 2 flat screen tvs. We loved that the windows were able to open, because when we entered, we had to get the air moving because of how stuffy the room was and how damp it felt. The sink area didn't look like it had been cleaned properly (there were hairs on the counter & by the faucet) We also didn't have an equal amount of towels and wash cloths. The beds were 'ok'. We didn't fuss because it was late and we were only there one night. But I probably wouldn't stay there again if I had to stay any longer than that. Can't beat the location though! Busch Gardens is 3 mins away :)

The beds are very uncomfortable. The matress very old, very hard with some springs showing. The front desk clerk did not care about our complaint and would not provide even an extra pillow.

Hotel location is great for Busch Gardens and rooms were clean and most important the grandkids loved the pool

The hotel is very convenient to Busch Gardens and surrounding areas. There are 4 malls withing 20 minutes. Overall the hotel was descent. The staff could use a class in people skills though and the breakfast could use something that contains protein. The food was plentiful but it was nothing but sugar. Overall I would stay there again.

The carpet was either very dirty or badly stained all over. The room was clean besides that issue. 2 lamps were not working. The phone cord in bedroom had been cut. The bed was very comfortable with good bedding. The seating was comfotable and convenient. 2 nice large tv's.

I am on the fence about this place. I would have rated it higher if I didn't see a roach crawling on the counter in the morning. My husband asked for blankets for the sofa bed and the guy took too long to bring them. They should have been in the room already. The towel rack in the room was rusty. Those are just the bad parts of the room. The bar and pool were nice and we had a room right next to them. The staff was nice from what I saw. Other than the roach and the rusty towel rack, the room was nice.

Very happy here. Nice large comfortable rooms, that's right 2 rooms. Everything I needed. Stay here!

We booked this hotel as a stopover while visiting Busch Gardens. It's very convenient, less than a mile from Busch Gardens. Check-in was fast enough and the receptionist was pleasant. The reception was clean and tidy. The rooms were quite shabby and need updating really. The bathroom was a bit dirty and adjacent to the light switch the light indicator was broken and had a bit of broken glass sticking out. The beds were comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. We did find that the vending machine on our corridor had been removed and the ice machine was broken, so had to go to another floor. The self-service breakfast room is a bit basic in appearance but the continental breakfast that you get for free was more than adequate. It's a budget hotel so we didn't expect absolute luxury, but some things need a bit of attention. OK for a 1 night stay.

My wife and I stayed here because of the low rate for two nights. Our reservation did not include breakfast, and we knew that beforehand so no problem there. Location is excellent in terms of proximity to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. Neighborhood is pretty good too; does not look bad at all, and it is really close to University of South Florida. Hotel looks pretty cool, too. Well maintained except for a few doors and frames missing a little paint. Recreation included pool and billiards. The room was cozy and the king bed was comfy. A/C was perfect, fridge terrific, included microwave, TV, and coffee maker; it even had a nice four person dinner table and pullout bed from a couch. The carpet was a little dirty though, so we recommend wearing your sandals or slippers at all times. The bathroom, however, was a let down. We found a big roach running around inside the bathroom, and the handle bar inside the bathtub was completely loose. My wife and I almost fell and injured ourselves on two separate occassions. Towels could be a little better too.

they really need to clean there rugs!!!! feet turn black walking in room.

amazing for a busch gardens vacay. the shuttles saves parking $$$$$. plus breakfast!

The floors were filthy! We wouldn't walk on them without shoes and some of the stains were actually sticky. The photos of the renovated rooms are either VERY old or we did not have a newly renovated room.

We stayed for a night, and the service, as well as room satisfaction was great! its literally 3 minutes away from busch garden, which was the vacation place we were going. I would recommend this hotel, and stay there again whenever i go to busch gardens.

We have stayed in this hotel before and really like the layout of the rooms and the convenience of the location. They have a nice pool and everyone is more that happy to help if you need anything. Great fun stay for us.

Older Hotel. Even though close to Bush Gardens...Not the best neighborhood. Went to pool in the morning and man still picking up used pool towels and garbage from previous night. Noticed chicken bones by my lounge chair. Shortly after noticed mother cat and kittens playing among rocks near pool. Now l knew where the bones came from. Laying out by pool did not last long as all we heard were men changing out beds and throwing bed frames in walkways yelling across hotel to communicate with each other, sirens from police, ambulances passing by. Not very relaxing. At night bar area noisy. Saw some teenage boy walking on roof. Could be a very nice hotel if cleaned up a bit and had perhaps more security and staff.

Great stay. I had 2 rooms, 3 beds, and a refrigerator. They even had a shuttle to nearby locations like Busch Gardens and USF

Superb place to stay if visiting Tampa and its attractions.

Nice and close, maybe 5 minutes. Was ok for the price that we paid.

Have stayed here twice and have no complaints. Rooms were clean, everything worked as it should and am happy to recommend to anyone. They always have a great rate whatever time of year,

Nice hotel. Good sized rooms. Good pool and breakfast. Comfortable. Super dirty carpets that makes your feet black though.

One of the greatest stays in a hotel that I've had in a while. Would definitely be back!!

I really dont have much to complain about except for the fact that the room made us all sick. I guess the air vents are never cleaned and we woke up with stuffy noses, congestion, and uncontrollable sneezing. We were feeling very groggy and sick @ bunch gardens. Kinda ruined the trip for us. If it wasnt for that, I would've been halpy with the hotel. The area sycjs though...nothing to do. Pool bar was closed...it was Sun. Whats up with that? Anyway, not a fan of Tampa. Will stay in Orlando next time and DRIVE to Busch Gardens.

I left a wake up call request at the desk when I checked in and never got it so I almost missed a very important test I had to take. The water in the shower literally took 10 minutes to get hot. I also was never told about the free breakfast room and I went to my class hungry. The condition of the room and hotel in general was not too bad.

This hotel was great for the sole purpose of going to Busch Gardens. They have a shuttle that will take to back and forth - which was great to save $$ on parking. There isn't much around the hotel in walking distance to eat or have some cocktails. There is a bar at the hotel, but we were there on a Tuesday and its not opened (they did say they ave Kareoke on Wed nights). I don't know if I would bring my kids to the hotel - it wasn't dirty, but not clean enough for a kid to crawl around the floor on.

I was unable to get internet service in my room in the evening. Also, the ice machines on both 2nd & 3rd floors did not work.

The front desk staff should be more friendly and not looking like they dont want to be at work.

Hardly anyone at the front office lobby. He was always outside smoking and talking with another man that didn't work there. Two men that were not guest at the hotel kept coming in and out of the hotel and no one dos anything. Quite dangerous if you ask me. Door would not open and we waited with life outside for 10 minutes in the cold while someone came up to fix it. The bed sheets had holes in it. The sofa bed matress was soaked in urine. And the bath tub had hair in it. You get what you pay for but never again for me.

The most attractive feature of this hotel is its location close to USF and Busch Gardens. I didn't have the time to visit Busch Gardens but, from the hotel, I only drove 5 minutes or less to my meeting at USF. Rooms are clean, nice and spacious bathrooms, good views, swimming pool, but NO Gym (only real downside).

We did not feel safe at all in this hotel. The hallway reeked of marijuana smoke, there were intoxicated people seated on a stairway. There was no sign of security. I was looking over my shoulder walking from my vehicle to the hotel and through the halls of the hotel. This is not an area or hotel that I would use again, especially with my wife and children.

Enjoyed our stay. Carpeting was in dire need of cleaning.

First off, this is my first hotel review I'm writing. I never really have anything bad to write for my stays are hotels. But this stay was so horrible that I need to take my time in writing the following. I hope you read this and do stay away from this poorly-called establishment. My good friend Carlo and I went down to visit Tampa just to get away from the cold of NYC/NJ and work. We stayed at this hotel because it was fairly inexpensive and extremely close to Busch Gardens. The check-in to our two queen bed non-smoking room was easy and fast. The front desk help was very courteous. The room is very comfortable and big, but there was this smoker's stink to it. I went down to check if it was a non-smoking room and they confirmed it was. To make sure our stay was satisfying, the front desk changed our room to a non-smoke smelling room. There are many restaurants and food stores near by to order in or go take-out. At our first night, my friend got bitten a few times. First, I thought it was a mosquito bite but it wasn't at random spots but it was in a row. We went to a nearby CVS pharmacy because it was itchy but the pharmacist even said it's not a mosquito bite but most probable that they're flea/tick/bedbug bites. We bought some medicine and one of the bug sprays to spray around the bed and on the floors throughout our room. We did go to the front desk and showed the bites on arms and face. We were told that the report would be forwarded to the manager but even to this date, we still haven't heard from them. We were given another room. The next day, we saw people who were cleaning our previous room with "chemicals." Unfortunately, my friend still got bitten that night again.. yes, that's right.. in a different room. Since we were only staying three nights we slept fully clothed. My friend had to leave early when work back at home called. I stayed at the hotel for my last night, but I got bitten. In the morning during check-out, I was very furious and went to the

Staff was polite. Toilet did not work. After 2 times being told it was fixed we were moved xmas eve 2 doors down. Pool was warm some days and too icy others. The hot tub is filled in and not in use. Feet got black from the carpeting. When we were moved no bedding for sleeper sofa, relative brought bedding, pillows, towels to us since hotel couldn't locate any for us. The shuttle to busch gardens was very accomodating and would make multiple trips to give everyone a ride. It is right around the corner from a police and fire station so frequent sirens. Same lady worked stocking the breakfast each day we were there, some days things were well stocked, other days lacking. Also some days they shut it down way earlier than posted time. But, since it was one person by herself and people weren't particularly nice to her, don't blame her. They really needed another person there. Also there were people obviously off the street hanging at the pool and breakfast who were pretty shady. In the 10 days we were there only 3 times were our beds done/room clean. Was a daily thing after being out/ getting in late to take our own trash out and go get clean towels (if they had any). I guess for a night or 2 it would be great if you wear shoes and don't mind dirty bathroom. But for a longer stay they definitely were lacking.

For us this was very adequate. Convenient to U. of Tampa, Lettuce lake park (fun birds) and 20 minutes from Bayshore Blvd. and Ybor City. The unit we stayed in was two rooms--bedroom + room with sofa and fridge, microwave and sink. Plus included with the price of the room was a continental breakfast with cereals, juice, muffins, etc. Overall very nice

not the newest or cleanest, but the staff was very nice and we slept well. the free shuttle to busch gardens was great. had a nice pool and breakfast bar. there was a tv in the front room and bedroom but one was broken. the fridge and microwave worked good. if you are just going to the park and sleeping at hotel it is great for the price.

Great deal on the room. The night person at the desk was very friendly (more so than the day person) and we were very comfortable. The elevator had a few issues but it wasn't a big deal. We would stay there again!
