Very nice clean modern room. All staff were very polite and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated and big. It was close to airport and right off the highway to go to downtown. It was tucked away so from main street so nice and quiet.

Location of this place is not the best. Right next to a Burger King that was always busy and at times was too noisy at night. Parking lot was always full at night because they let trucks with trailers take up all the spots and lot. Rooms were in good shape look nicer then expected.

close to several restaurants, very handy, the area was not too busy, which is nice when you are from out of the area.

This Best Western is located fairly close to the U. of Portland. There are several convenient restaurants very close: Elmer's, Shari's, Mexican and a fast food less than a 5 minute walk. Te bed and pillows are comfortable, the breakfast has hot scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage.

Thoroughly satisfied. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

The front desk were not very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was average by the serving staff was polite. The saving grace was that we could go shopping or OMSI or the gardens with in few mins.

Located on one of the northern islands in Portland, don't expect to walk to certain areas, however you can reach most areas with a short drive. Overall the hotel is great, the breakfast room got crowded fast with lines. The room was clean and overall we like it for a family trip.

The staff was very nice an accomodating.Every time I walked into my room it smelled like a banana peel. I couldn't find it. But a thorough cleaning of that room, wouldn't hurt.

Stayed one night for an event in downtown Portland. This hotel was only a 10 minute drive from downtown and was much more affordable than a downtown hotel. The room was clean and remarkably quiet even though the whole place was full. The breakfast was very good for the price and the staff was very kind and responsive. It is easy acess to I-5 and is surrounded by restaurants within walking distance.

Staff very friendly, helpful, was convenient to the shopping I had planned

We always stay here when we visit Portland because it's so cheap compared to most other hotels and the rooms are large and clean. It's a little far north from downtown, but there is public transportation right there and the freeway entrance is only a few minutes away.

nice place to stay，only one thing ，there wasn't indoor pool.:(

This Best Western was top notch, comfy beds, nice amenities and decent free breakfast! Would definitely recommend if need to stop for the night!

We were very pleased with this hotel! The location is good, close access to the freeway for travel to Portland and Vancouver, WA. Plus many places to shop are nearby. The rooms are very comfortable with a large bathroom and was a quiet and relaxing place to stay. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. A common compliant, which I noted in many reviews, was the very SLOW internet service!!!!!

The hotel staff desk person was alone making it diffecult for him to tend to ALL the phone calls helping people at the desk. There was a line there and I had a question about logging on to the computer to print out my boarding pass. I was in a real hurry and became very impatient waiting.

Positive: Bed was comfortable. Room was spacious enough. Negative: TV was old. Room had smell issues.

A comfortable affordable hotel

Staff was friendly and helpful; even offered and made dinner reservations. Good breakfast

Everything was great. We were extremely happy with everything from the service at check-in to the breakfast the next morning! Easy access off the freeway and quiet too! We will stay here again if the opportunity arises!

An excellent value

All was fine until 1am... The most horrible burning smell came into the room... We thought the A/C was on fire... I got half-dressed and walked all around.. The smell was WORSE outside... The desk clerk said he didn't smell anything, but that a company nearby often cranked up pollution after midnite... We had to get up @ 4am, so I got no sleep

is good for a point A to B trip, just to sleep and get on your way maybe. Walls were paper thin, screaming and jumping child next door, heavy walkers above, blasting TVs heard thru all walls. Luckily the front desk was able to offer ear plugs and to move if I needed to. I stuck it out with ear plugs.

very convenient, the complimentary breakfast was good

We enjoyed the stay and although we just stayed at night and were with family the rest of the time we did enjoy.

Great value. Good (not great ) breakfast. Friendly service - when we did have a problem they fixed it immediately. We stayed here before. Biggest downer is internet access which was dreadfully slow - many connections just timed out.

Room was very good, roomy, and clean, with nice bath and shower. Breakfast was good, but on days when conference room was in use, the breakfast room was very overcrowded. Biggest negative is the slow speed of their free wi-fi. Even simple Yahoo pages would take a minute or more to download. Staff was friendly and good.
