We have stayed here previously so we booked again. Convenient. Good price. Get more towels before you head to the bath, as you get 2 bath, one hand and one washcloth period for two people. Find out in great detail how you get to and out of the self park on a Sunday morning. It took us 45 minutes to get the car. The bellman had no clue as to how to get in the building which is 2+ blocks from the hotel.

Service was good. However the rooms were very small.

Literally in the center of downtown / river north - room was small but comfortable.

You can not beat the convenience of the hotel location right downtown and within walking distance of the CTA system. Club Quarters offers a very homey feeling, the desk staff is attentive and pleasant. We were allowed to check in at 11 am and they held our luggage for us both on arrival and departure. While the rooms can be small, they are comfortable and if you are just looking for a home base, its perfect. The lounge associated with each CQ offers computers and coffee, and we also enjoyed free wifi in our room. We also love the "water bottle to go" on each floor. For the price and location, this can't be beat. I would definitely stay again.

Right in the middle of downtown. As mentioned the rooms are small but very nice. Would recommend highly. Restaurant adjacent is really nice too.

Rooms are small, out of date, smelled like smoke, dark, unpleasant. People at the hotel are nice, friendly, helpful and it's in a great location- I walked to most of my appointments. Hotel 71 next door looked like a better option. Probably more expensive though...

This hotel is in a great location; walk to Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, House of Blues, and more. Our particular room was a little small, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The services offered are great; coffee and tea available all day long, free bottled water station on each floor, and luggage hold. Free wi-fi.

The amenities were great, love the filtered water, coffee machine and the ability to do laundry for free. Location was awesome, walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again, great price for the amenities.

Fun to stay here

We stayed three nights. Check in was a breeze, hotel was clean and overall service was great. However, the no control of the temperature was real negative during our stay. Our room was between 70 and 74 degrees. We actually checked out a few hours before check out time because the room was hot. Location was fantastic. Walking distance to Millienium Park, Navy Peir, shopping on Michigan Ave and more. We actually walked across the street and caught a boat ride tour through Chicago and Lake Michigan. We loved the location so much we will definitely stay here again. But might bring a fan next time.

Right in the middle of everything. I do suggest you park your car elswhere and take the train. Parking is crazy downtown. Room was smaller, but clean and functional, and plenty of to go bottles in the hall with filtered water A+++, excellent staff that is VERY respectful.

Friendly service, very clean and nice hotel in a great location. Room was a bit small, Good amenities - would stay there again!

There was no heat and the street moise sounded like the windows were left open. Asked for showe and ended up with a tub. Nasty looking strop of glue all over the bottom part of the mirror. Bad lighting and cheap uncomfortable bed linnen , pillows and mattrass

We stayed for one night and we had only good things to say about this basic business hotel. The biggest downside was that the standard queen room was small. The biggest upside was the location for sightseeing. We would stay here again when visiting Chicago.

The hotel (Club Quarters) is on a "2 pipe" system, meaning the A/C isn't available until the system is switched over from winter. Therefore, the temp of our room remained between 74-78 degrees (because it was warm & sunny outside). The first offer of "bring up a fan" was not acceptable so the staff did allow us to move to a different hotel at no cost (the River Hotel, attached to Club Quarters). That room was perfect (had A/C)--I just should have complained the first day there.

Great stay! Great view of the river. At check in, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade for a better view glad we did! For next time I will ask about softness of bed it was pretty hard by my standards but the hubby liked it.

Nice hotel, good location, but teeny, tiny rooms. I realize it leans toward a boutique hotel and can appreciate that but...really small rooms. Other than that, clean, updated, great for short business trip.

Close to everything, including the subway system. Down-side is size of room, very small, not for anyone who is claustrophobic.

Customer service was tops, but the room was real small and the minimal extras like an iron or ironing board. 1 set of scratchy towel, the bed was comfortable and the shower is acceptable and clean.

Bedroom was relatively small and the window a little drafty but it is an older (beautiful) building and whole place was clean and felt safe - just dont expect any luxuries!

What a great find! What a perfect boutique hotel! The staff was very helpful and attentive. Keurig coffee YUM! I will come back! My GPS couldn't find the hotel and the customer service phone number I called was in a different city so that didn't help, but I eventually found the hotel. Perfect downtown location. Walking distance to a lot of great areas. My room overlooked the river.

The location of the hotel was central to the downtown area. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was that not everything in the room was functioning at 100%. We had problems controlling the thermostat on the heating and air conditioning unit. The flat screen on the wall was poorly positioned and looked like it was going to fall off the bracket. For me the icing on the cake was when we called the front desk to report a problem with the HD channels (local). They stated they would send someone up to look at and no one ever showed up.

Great location right along the river and the Magnificent Mile

We chose the hotel due to price and location. We were not disappointed. The rooms were small but we just needed a place to rest our head and lay our bags. The hotel staff was fantastic and it was an absolutely amazing location for spending time shopping and eating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Not a great hotel for a large family due to size of rooms.

Been staying in this hotel each year for about last 10 years. Ideal for exploring Chicago. Close to the blue line, good for travel to the airport

Reasonably priced hotel right in the middle of downtown Chicago. My room had amazing views (special thanks to Tim for hooking me up with a great room for a small upgrade). Will return.

Loved everything about this place. It's chic. It's vintage. It's snazzy, sharp, and clean. Excellent service. Top notch experience. Looking forward to going back.

It was a last minute book from hotels.com but it was worth it. The hotels was in walking distance from all the attractions we wanted. Wonderful costumer service. Very nice clean and spacy room. Definitely will stay there again

I attended a conference at a nearby hotel and Club Quarters was a great, convenient value. Or of the employees, Baba, was particularly helpful with service in the Beautiful workspace. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I got the impression this hotel was sub-par to surrounding hotels given it is older. However, I have no complaints in terms of location, service or cleanliness.

Room was narrow but efficient. Room had all amendities.room clean. Room on 23floor which was fine.location was great for going anywhere in city. Went to chicago for one nite getaway so didnt spend too much time at hotel but staff was friendly. Would stay again.
