Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Waterford - وتَرفورد

Many things should be fixed. The coat rack we could not use because it would have fallen on my kids heads. One door by the pool did not work and a nice lady actually let me in as I had pizzas and a cake in my hand. I was told when I called a week ago I could use a room off the pool for some pizza and cake for my daughter's birthday. they said they changed that policy when I arrived and would have ended up with 14 people in our room with pizza and a cake. Luckily, we were able to use to board room thanks to the staff at the time. I believe a dance company (my husband thinks it was the "dance moms" troupe) were very loud when they were in the pool and were right by there. The pool was great, however. The continental breakfast was a hit. Checkout was simple, quick and easy.

The only thing missing was a hot tub. After a long day of shopping, I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub. Most hotels with an indoor pool also have a hot tub. i was disappointed there was not one.

I stayed with my wife, infant son, and three year old daughter, and it worked out far better than I expected. The room was large enough to give the kids some space, so everyone was able to get a good night's sleep. The continental breakfast was very good and had a nice variety of food, as well. Overall, the experience was very good, although we did have to pay a bit more for our room than any of the comparable hotels in the area.

Rooms were a bit to small, ask for a fridge, never got one. Oh and we are still waiting for our wake-up call. Breakfast was good and servec and an early time, liked it. A bit to pricy for what you get.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, good breakfast in lobby. Liked having fresh coffee available anytime I wanted it. Will be staying here next time I am in the area.

The bed was swaybacked and used. The sink in the bathroom dripped no matter what. The wireless internet service did not work. When I asked at the front desk about the non-functional wireless internet, management could tell me only that, "Yeah, well, someone else said it wasn't working either...." and could do nothing to fix it.

Good Location and excellant breakfest! My only concern is if a fire the stairway is open not enclosed in a seperate area.

This hotel meet our needs - a place for 6 of us to sleep on our 19 hour trip home. It was clean and comfortable. However, our floor was below ground and there was a musty smell in the hallway and our room and coming from the bathroom sink. It was a little unsettling.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Waterford, MI for a wedding we attended. My husband and I felt that it was a decent value for the nightly rate, but certainly a "no-frills" experience. The room was very clean but uncomfortable temperature-wise. Even with the unit on "high cool" and set as cold as it could go the room was stuffy all night. It was the same story in the hallway and there didn't seem to be anything that the management on staff could do about it. It was livable, but rather uncomfortable for sleeping. Our only other complaint was the breakfast buffet. We both were ill about 3 hours after having eaten. It was convenient, but in retrospect I may have gone with safer choices from the offerings provided other than the eggs. All in all, it suited our needs for the trip but was by no means our best hotel experience ever.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Waterford, MI for a family member's high school graduation. The hotel was in a great location with nearby shopping for convenience. Room was clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was nice. Great breakfast. Beware of the extremely slippery floor in pool area though. Many kids were slipping and sliding on that floor.

I thought this hotel was great. My only problem was that we stayed in a room that faced the road. The room didn't have black out curtains, only shears. All night the room was filled with neon lights from the stores across the street and in the morning we got the bright sunlight. I would have loved to sleep in, because the bed was super comfortable. The staff was very nice and the room was nicely updated and clean.

I asked the maid at check-in for shampoo, because i forgot mine. She informed me they have no shampoo. I stopped at the drug store and purchased. Later on the desk clerk informed me they have shampoo, but this was never in our room during our stay. We informed the desk clerk that we would be staying overnite in Canada during our stay and would return. We were informed to vacate the room and pack-up our luggage and the hotel would store the luggage. I don't have a problem with that due to the hotel may be full at the time we were away, however the desk cancelled our room key on the wrong day, after being away for the day and returning we unable to enter the security doors at rear of the hotel or our room due to the mistake. The room was not cleaned and no fresh towels. The desk clerk was sorry this happened and corrected the problem.. I called the desk and asked for a 3am wakeup call on the day we were to depart. I woke up at 4am and no wakeup call, Due to no wakeup call we almost missed our flight. When i asked the desk clerk why there was no wake-up call, he stated he was sorry about that..

I probably can't say enough good about the hotel. I left my laptop in my hotel room and did not realize it until the next day. After a couple of phone calls to them, I finally got someone to check with housekeeping and they had it! I was very impressed and very relieved at their honesty. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was great. The breakfast was fantastic with all the variety and hot food choices. Will definitely stay there again.
