Desk staff and cleaning staff were thoughtful and proficient.

It served the purpose of staying somewhere cheaper till moving to a nicer hotel in Nola

had all the necessities and a great staff. nice having IHOP on site.

Service was great, upgraded my room. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location was a little difficult to get to with service roads and access roads but fine once you navigated it once or twice. Plenty of food nearby with an IHOP on the premises. Far from downtown but easy to drive there. Would stay here again

I think it should be fenced because all around the hotel we have boards which says "Park at your own risk and hotel management is not responsible for the loss of goods". This is not a good way to welcome guests as we pay $$$ for staying and security too. So if its not secured enough then why would the guests come to stay there. Please make it more secured. Good thing about the hotel it has IHOP restaurant attached to it so there is nor problem of food anytime. Loved the food there :)

Dirty Nappy under the bed and gum stuck on the draws Room was damp!!. Service was good

Enjoyed the stay but concerned the filter/fan in the bathroom is dangerous to your health. It was filled with dust and gunk. How dangerous is this?

We chose well by staying at Days Hotel. We got good rates, it's close to the Jazz Fest and other New Orleans sights and shopping and very comfortable.

The rooms were very spacious and it did the job considering we didn't stay in the room too much. The room wasn't very clean and our door to the patio was broken and very hard to open. There were cigarette burns in our curtains and stains in the carpet.

This hotel is old and never been fully updated. A Queen bed was all that was available so it comes with a handicap bathroom which takes up half of the room. Wallpaper was peeling, plaster falling of the ceiling, the fill spout in the tub almost fell off when I pulled the lever to turn on the shower. Carpets smelled and looked very old. The linens appeared clean so the maids did a good job with what they had to work with. The one chair in the room was covered with stains. Also the safe in the room did not work. The daytime desk clerk was not the most friendly, but I am finding everywhere that desk clerks lack customer service skills. I won't be staying here again, unfortunately I find myself saying that a lot lately.

For $144/night, I expected much more. The elevator was broken, the ice machines on at least 2 floors were broken, the phone couldn't dial the front desk or a local cab company.

Got stuck in elevator room air did not wor properly

There wasn't anything really wrong with this hotel, but it isn't in the best shape...it is really showing signs if major depreciation and is in need of renovation. New paint, carpets, plumbing, etc. Depending on what you're doing in New Orleans or Metairie, this hotel may suit your needs. I was only there for two nights, and I live nearby in Baton Rouge so I didn't feel it was necessary to spend more money at a downtown hotel. If this was my first visit to New Orleans or I didn't visit the city a lot, I'd think twice about it.

Clean and quiet. A little off the main drag, but not bad on price so it was a winner.

Went to look for housing before we move to New Orleans. The hotel is close to the airport and right off the interstate. It is minutes from both downtown NO and the mall in Metairie by car unless there is heavy traffic. The building was a little shabby in places but both our room and the attached IHOP were very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. This place was good on its own and great for the price.

I work a lot in the New Orleans area. This was my second stay and just great. I even suggested it to a friend who was working I'm the area and he stayed also R

This hotel was a good stop for the price. No continental breakfast as advertised. There is a Ihop that is part of the hotel. I wasn't really thrilled with the security lock on the sliding patio door.

Hotel next to highway loud noises all night. The room was in terrible shape but yet we had to leave a $30 per night deposit that was not disclosed when reserved. Took used towels but only gave one new. It was just AWFUL

l got a non smoking room and the room was non smoking. But there was a smoking room across the hall. And apparnetly we had to share the AC with several smoking rooms. Horrible. Could not sleep because of the smell of smoke. IHOP attached was a nice touch though.

The stay was above really good, however the breakfast was disappointing.

Everything was wonderful. I had problems with the coffee maker in my room. The desk clerk sent someone right away to check on it and was ask if I needed anything else. I'm looking forward to staying there in May. My son is graduating from college in New Orleans and I think Days Hotel is the perfect place for my Husband and I to stay.....Thanks again!

Overall stay was fine.

This was not really were I needed to stay. The hotel was not in a very good location, but it was easy to find. There was only one person working the front desk and it was hard to get through to them when I was trying to call in to make a change. Once I talked with them they were very friendly though. I probably won't stay there again.

We chose this hotel for its specific location close to an early morning appointment. The reviews seemed to be hit or miss so we took a chance. We were impressed with the hotel overall. The room was large and clean, with a king bed plus a hide-a-bed couch. There were some small cosmetic issues, but it is an old hotel and you kind of expect that. The hallway had a smokey smell, but not our room. The pool area seemed nice.

The good: It was clean and quiet. The let down: No bar (which is advertised on their site through Hotels.com) and the mattress was extremely worn, hangers rusty, and there was a musty smell that lingered.

Not a very attractive hotel, but it served my purpose, which was an overnight stay while passing through on I-10. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Some wear and tear noted. No unusual odors. IHOP attached. I was looking for something less expensive, that wasn't a dive - so it met that criteria. Why do so many hotels go for those short, plump pillows these days? I can't sleep well with them.

The front desk people seemed to have an attitude when the room key didn't work the next day.

Bed was very comfortable. Room a little tired. Front desk people were very nice and accommodating. Yeah - Ihop connected to hotel

It was a good solid hotel. I did love the courtyard! I didn't like that ppl were smoking outside everywhere though. Breakfast was average. First day we went at 9 and the hostess never refilled anything. Next day we went at 8:30 and the hostess was much more active. Employees were helpful.

The rooms were very nice, the elevator had problems, the front desk clerk was very rude and couldn't find out reservation. She kept telling someone on the phone that too.

The hotel was okay for overnight but would not suggest it for longer stay. The ceiling was falling down in the lobby & their were buckets to catch the rain water. The room smelled stale & the bathroom sink was clogged. The location is good.

The hotel uses very old and worn out furniture. The bathroom mirror is falling apart. The toilet seat is very old and the tub drain is stuck. For a $80 a night stay, their advertised "Continental Breakfast" is actually a $2 coupon to eat in the next door IHOP, which is only good for one coffee and two pieces of toast. Even this you have to ask, or they won't give you.

Furnishings were very dated and tired in this hotel, with particular emphasis on the aged bedding. Also, heavy rain in the area at the time resulted in water leaking into the room overnight at the window area. I discovered in the morning that so much rain water had entered that a large area within 5 to 7 feet of the window had soaked carpet. In the future I will look for another lodging option.
