As it was for business it was a bit few from Oxford, although local public transport was excellent. Room was kept clean and was functional. Staff were helpful and courteous.

On Spring Break, we went to Oxford for a couple of days to see the sights and relax after London, and this hotel was a little far away (about 30 minutes on the bus to and from the city of Oxford) but easy enough to get to, so that wasn't so much of a problem. The staff were extremely friendly, and even booked us a taxi when we had to leave very early the last morning, and weren't sure how to do so. They helped out with any problem immediately, and presented a clean and comfortable room with plenty of space. It was a very nice stay!

Shower was broken (only cold), no electricity at the sockets and window could not be closed properly. Reception staff were helpful though.

I stayed in a double room. The bed was a decent size with clean bedding, extra bedding was also provided. Although the bed was quite hard, it was supposed to be 'back friendly' I think. Anyhow, The decoration was great value for the price but the sofa within the room was quite old and outdated. T.v was flatscreen with free-view which was great! The bathroom was extremely clean with clean bath and hand towels, boxed tissues, little plastic bags for toothbrushes etc, hand soap and face & hair wash. With a bath and shower, the bathroom was definitely the best feature of the bedroom. The staff were brilliant, the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful even though dealing with allot of people and overall the stay was very enjoyable!

It is rather pity there is no bar or off-licence near Days Inn, but, hey, you will get what you pay for. Days Inn is very practical hotel and it served me and my family very well. Internet connection was fast enough and bathroom was very clean and well maintained with good water pressure. We didn't order any food, because Days Inn is located right next to Welcome Break, where we can find many different kinds of food. Overall, it was very good stay and we will give 4 stars (out of five) to Days Inn.

This hotel was better than we expected. Our room was warm and comfortable. The staff were very helpful in ordering a taxi for us and then telephoning further when it was late. Very good

Pleasant family room, clean, comfortable, no problems at all. Handy for overnight stay on long journey. Food options/services right next door offering options for all.

Conveniently located along the motorway with polite counter staff who tries to accommodate our family needs.

I was very satisfied with this stay from the first greeting to the last goodbye. The person on reception found me a room that served my needs and it was clean, quiet and comfortable. It is an easy run along the A6 and straight down to the city centre and so was a perfect location for me. Wifi and parking were free and I was completely satisfied with my stay.

Very comfortable family room; child used sofa bed which was great, clean tidy room, bathroom excellent. Breakfast available next door which was fantastic. Udes as a stayover for long journey and well worth it too.

Staff very helpful at check-in. Everything clean and as it should be. Hard to fault for a budget hotel. Very satisfied.

My wife & I had little choice but to stay in this service station location with our 4year old son as generally staying in the vicinity of Oxford is quite expensive. While just about adequate for the price, the sofa bed laid out for my son was not properly made with the sheets just dumped on the top. The room was airless & stuffy as there is no air conditioning and naturally with its service station location, you wouldn't want to try sleeping with the window open due to the noise. On returning late from a meeting, the reception desk was unable to provide me with a second room key so I had to wake my wife to get into the room, at which point I got trapped in the bathroom by a faulty lock mechanism, neccessitating my picking the lock from the inside with a credit card! On further inspection the following day, judging by the splintered state of the door frame, I was obviously not the first to experience this exciting end to my day. On the plus side, parking is easy and monitored & the receptionist on check-in was charming, sadly those are the only two positive points I can find to share with you...

The bathroom was not clean and there were black marks all over. Room and bathroom did not feel fresh.

The Days Inn is a true motorway hotel, being located in the service area at the fork between the M40 and the A40. The rooms provide basic necessities and are in good repair, and are fine if you just need a place to sleep. The shower was very pleasant and had good water pressure and temperature controls. Be advised that the family room that is advertised for 4 persons has one double bed and one twin bed (luckily our children didn't mind sharing the twin bed). Next door is the service area with a 'Dine in' area featuring traditional warm food, fast food chains KFC, Burger King, and Starbucks, plus a small Waitrose and W.H.Smith. This provided lots of choices for breakfast and an alternative to the hotel's in-room continental breakfast (they don't have a breakfast room). Access to Oxford is provided by a short drive along the A40 to the Thornhill Park and Ride station, the best option for getting into the city.

only stayed one night and arrived late - but very satisfied with hotel and cleanliness and facilities. Easy access to refreshment outlets next door. Great value for money.

Everything fine just very uncomfortable bed

The hotel is conveiently located just off the M40 about 8 miles out of Oxford, with a Park and Ride halfway towards the city centre. The accommodation was clean and ok for an overnight stay. The overall apperance is a little tired, but as a good value stop-over it's worth considering.

Oxford is a hard place to find any parking and the hotels in town are pricey, the Days Inn is only 7 miles from the center of town and has a large food court next door. Can not beat the price and free parking.

I wasn't expecting anything more than a basic hotel room. But what i did hope for was a clean one. Therefore i was very disapoiinted to find the bottom sheet on the bed, covered in hairs, when i pilled back the cover. I of course complained, and was moved to another room, where on checking the bed, i noticed it to be in a similar condition, although in fairness, not as bad. I didn't bother reporting this a second time, rather elected just to spend as little time in the room and sleep on the cover which was apparently clean. Only good thing about this hotel is the location....

I made the mistake of thinking that this was a reasonably priced yet simple hotel in Oxford. As I was attending meeting in Oxford, I ended up spending 100 pounds during my 24-hour stay to get to the hotel, back and forth to a diner in town and back into town the following morning. The taxi ride in the morning took one hour. If one is coming by car, this would be a perfectly ok hotel, nice staff and clean rooms. Next to a grocery store and a rest stop like area off the highway. But if you have business in town, do yourself a favor and pay for a more expensive room to save on time and taxi fares.

Hicimos la reserva y cuando nos dimos cuenta en la hoja de reserva ponía: habitación de fumadores, pensandonos que en ningún hotel dejarían fumar a estas alturas no le dimos importancia y cuando llegamos a la habitación la olor y la niebla eran insoportables, se lo comentamos a la recepcionista y un poco a regañadientes nos la cambio por otra de no fumadores, como del cielo a la tierra. Por lo demás el hotel muy bien, un poco alejado pero en coche en 10 min estas en oxford. Justo al lado del hotel hay un centro comercial con un STARBUCKS que nos vino de lujo ya que no teniamos contratado el desayuno. Te incluye parking y tienes agua y microondas en la recepción.

Clean and spacious room, actually better than expected. Would recommend it as a motel for those travelling by. Unfortunately, I was in Oxford for business meetings and this was too far off for me!

Ble veldig overrasket over hvor langt ute på landet hotellet lå. Trodde det lå i nærheten av Oxford Brooks Universitetet, men det lå kun i nærheten av en avdeling av Brooks. Kom med buss til Oxford og måtte betale 27 pund for å komme til hotellet. Standeren på hotellet var bra. I nabobygningen var det mange ulike kafeer med mye utvalg. Det at hotellet lå så avsides til, gjorde at vi fikk kansellert de tre andre nettene og flyttet nærmere byen. Kanselleringen gikk veldig greit.

Nous avons apprécié le fait de ne pas perdre de temps, le lendemain, pour reprendre la route et de trouver tout à coté, tout ce qu'il fallait pour nous restaurer.et de plus, chambre spacieuse. Je recommanderais cet hôtel.

Il y a très peu d'hotel dans Oxford, cet a environ 10kms d'oxford est donc propre, neuf et un bon compromis avec des commerces dans la même zone. Par contre la voiture est indispensable... Lorsqu'on souhaite aller a Oxford il est préférable de garer sa voiture dans un park ride qui se trouve à 5 kms d'Oxford, le parking est gratuit mais la navette est payante 4livres. Seul petite remarque concernant l'hotel une forte odeur d'humidité dans la chambre (RDC).

Buona posizione, in un'area di sosta Welcome Break, quindi con tutti i servizi richiesti in autostrada. Oxford è a una decina di chilometri e facilmente raggiungibile. Stanza pulita e comoda, struttura tutto sommato buona, niente di eccezionale ma rispecchia la somma spesa per pernottare. WiFi in stanza gratuito e parcheggio comodissimo i punti a favore a mio avviso più importanti.
