We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel. This is an old building however, it is well maintained. The hotel is right on the beach, excellent location to nearby resturants and shopping. 5 minute drive to Atalntic City. The hotel staff was extremely friendly, each shift greeted us whenever we entered or exited the building. The efficiency room we stayed in was very clean & had a beautiful ocean view. We will definitely stay here again.

Its a little scary from the outside but the renovations they did were very nice. Only one thing wrong. There was no cleaning services for the stay. I guess because it is a time share. But it was clean and comphy

When we arrived I greeted...then told about fees I have to pay when cking out...the greeter rushed through the explanations and seem annoyed that I read before I signed and had questions about fees.This the 1st time Ive stayed at a resort and wanted questions answered...HEY you have my Cc number I shld hve questions. Called down to front desk the ngt before cking out and had them properly explained. MUCH BETTER!!!!! I feel taking a little time to explain what I did not understand wld hve been a little more appreciated. I wld not recommend because of the impatience of my greeter was not good and First impressions last . But I wll use Hotel.com 4 our next outing in June 2012

This hotel was ok, but they charged for the wireless internet service, and for the price it should have been included. In my opinion! The people were nice enough. There's no exercise room or hot tub, but the pool seems fine.

This hotel is clean, but could use a bit of updating.

The hotel was beautiful and clean great view great location. Other hotel guests were very friendly can't say that about the staff. Horribly rude and just didn't seem like they wanted to do there job. I would of rathered paid 150 more for a staff that was nicer. Worst service ever. The trip was meant for our anniversary to have a good time. Good time didn't start till after check out ... Never again!

This place is ON THE beach! Within 2 blocks you have a restaurant, small grocery store and Rita's. I have never met such a friendly and accommodating staff anywhere, ever. The building is old, but it's is cared for and the rooms are well equipped - kitchen has everything you need. Will return for sure.

We have been coming here the past few years,the property is undergoing extensive upgrades.clean and comfortable ,oceanfront resort,great indoor pool,outgoing staff and quiet location.Our Room had all new appliances,clean and quiet.Keep in mind, this hotel was built in 1927 but I feel everthing has been done to upgrade this resort to todays needs,No wifi but computers in the lobby sufffice.The building is solid concrete walls,totally quiet,the key entry system is the newest available.,just hold the card over the door knob,it lets you in,Try it you will like it.The restaurant is under renovation and will open in may,Take a taxi to AC to avoid the hassle,I'm going back,the price is right.!

Very cute little hotel, friendly staff, right on the beach and minutes from casinos. We stayed on saturday night, and the hotel staff put out wine, cheese and crackers. Very fun

had a good time at the hotel, pool was under construction so a little disappointed about that also the location of the sauna was a little small but over all had a great night and a good experience

This was a great find with a view of the ocean. the rooms were clean and roomy. service was great. would stay here again.

For an older hotel, the Legacy is a very nice hotel. Built in 1927, it is very good shape and I would recomend this hotel to others.

This place from what i gather was recently purchased by a larger company. They are renovating it but at the present time the rooms and decor are very outdated.

It is right on the beach, great restaurant / bar and friendly atmosphere. Close to all the A.C. outlets and casino's, no need to drive just call the Brigantine cab which is $10.00 and off you go. Highly recommend it.... : )

We stayed here because we were guests at a wedding which was held downstairs in the Laguna Grill. The room was very comfortable despite the fact that the kitchen area could use a little update.

Bathroom was clean but lacked storage space. I had to place toiletries on the top of the toilet.

Overall OK but hotel is becoming rundown. Door sticking, all furnishings worn, lots of wear and tear visible. Pluses were excellent views, good bar and great location for our purposes. We were there 3 days and no maid service whatsoever which I consider unsatisfactory for a hotel. Perhaps as a timeshare they do that sort of thing but they are renting hotel rooms to outsiders not to owners. Maid service daily or drop your rates considerably

The plumbing was an issue in this suite. The tub would not drain and the toilet had great difficulties flushing. The bed was very small (full size). The air conditioner cover kept falling off. The indoor pool was not heated and was not clean. Beach front was dirty. On a positive note, the desk staff was very helpful.

We had a wonderful time there and people were very friendly and made us feel right at home there. We were right on the beach which was very nice. The only problem that we had was that when we arrived, our room was not very clean. The beds were nice and clean, but the floor had not been swept or showers cleaned, etc. That was a little disgusting especially when you pay good money to stay there. Other than that, I would recommend it to my friends and family. Just take your own sweeper, broom and cleaning supplies with you. =)

This was a very good property situated on the beach. Great during the week getaway w/ a great view of Atlantic City to the North from the beach of which there is plenty. Beach was nice and relatively light on the crowds. The studio room was not fancy but was very clean with a nice little kitchenette and bathroom. Roomy also. TV needs an upgrade but the TV or cable was not a priority. We came to getaway for the day and to have access to a good beach. We had free parking and only a small resort fee of less than 10 dollars. The only thing that is different from going to a regular hotel is the $100 deposit on your credit card which will take two days to come off. No big problem actually unless you are near being maxed out.

It was awesome! weather was amazing! Beach literally 5 feet from the hotel, nice restaurant attached to the hotel and on the beach! definitely recommend this hotel to others

Love,love,love it here! We had a wonderful time and especially love the new deck and palm tree area. Sitting out there while eating meals a pleasure. The food is excellent. Please post more weekly signs as to activities as we missed the Parrot Head Night. We had dinner and then we saw the setup area. Nevertheless we will always come back to stay here. The pool is a plus. Our room view was awesome!

The resort has changed since Legacy acquired it. I was disappointed that there was no longer a exercise room. We are owners there, but haven't been there for a while. Overall the staff was very courteous. For the money we spent it was worth it. The weather was cold, but we enjoyed just spending time together. We were there celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. Summer months will be better. It is small, but right on a private beach.

The legacy was a great choice to stay at for a weekend getaway. Me and my friend took our girlfriends down for a weekend. And although the weather wasn't the greatest, the hotel provided a good atmosphere to spend the night in, cooking dinner and just hanging out. The beach was gorgeous at night with AC only minutes away by taxi. Good plpace to stay if going for a short visit.

The staff were very helpful and polite as well as all the people in the surrounding area. The hotel was clean and well kept and located practically on the beach, the only complaint was the room I stayed door kept jamming which made it difficult to get in and out of the room. Other than that it was decent for the price and not far from the Casinos.

The hotel was perfect for our weekend get away. Right on the beach , nice restruant,pool,etc. Staff was great.Clean room. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel is older, but had everything we needed. Its out of Atlantic City but close enough. Its right on the beach! The rates were very affordable. The bathroom was small & no room for your personal items. The room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Overall, it was a great deal & we enjoyed it very much. We plan to go back!

Overall this hotel, especially for the price, was well worth the stay. We needed a place to spend a night because we were seeing Cirque du Soleil in AC and wanted something inexpensive, but still tolerable. Legacy was it. Carlos, the front desk associate who helped, was superb. The other 4 staff (including Greg from maintenance) who I met were equally helpful and pleasant, which really made my girlfriend and I feel welcome and appreciated. The room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. Considering the hotel is literally RIGHT on the beach, this is definitely going to be a place I intend on booking again, without hesitation. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't upper-crust enough to go 5-star, and I will certainly be praising the visit when any of my friends ask how it was.

Hotel was in a very nice location. Staff was great and helpful. Veiw was wonderful. Older Hotel but very clean. Local taxi drive only 13 to Atlantic City.

For a "resort" I wouldn't stay here again. Very disappointed overall. Rooms had old beat up furniture, one tv didn't work. Nothing much for kids to do except a pool and a vert outdated game room. Facility lacks what I would consider resort material, maybe a 2 star hotel at best. Can't believe Legacy claims this place, shame. But I had a great view of Atlantic City and the ocean, the only nice thing about the place. So much more could be done at this place if only the CEO's would utililize the room they have. What a shame could be so much nicer than it is. I would hate to be a time share owner here and pay the $600+ yearly maintenance fees. Don't know what they spend the money on. Didn't like the fact I had to pay per day for parking and internet service. Parking consisted of a run down parking lot and I didn't use the internet which should have been an option but it wasn't. Had to sit in the lobby to get the internet anyway. They have an additional charge per day if you want to access the internet from your room. I accidentally went into a room that I thought was the pool only to find a storage area with a pool table, video games and stoves, tables, etc. piled in there. What a shame that they don't put the pool table to use for the guests. It was covered with junk piled on top of it. They need to utilize the space they have to bring this place up to "resort" standards". I have 2 time shares and I know what to expect with them and I can tell at least what my maintenance fees are paying for unlike this place. I think it goes in the CEO's pocket. Really don't think I will stay here again.

Overall our stay was great. The price was very good and the room was better than we thought. I would definately stay there again!

We enjoy staying at this hotel. The neighborhood is nice and its not too far from AC.
