Good quality, reasonably priced overnight accomodation in central Oslo near to rail, bus and tram transport. Friendly, efficent staff with minimal problems in checkin/out at even the earliers times.

The location of the hotel was perfect, the staff was nice, however, my room was too cold, the climate control in the room was not working, I called several times to complain about the cold temperature in my room. after several times, they sent a heater to my room, but the heater didn't work, I just gave up and walked around with the blanket that was provided. I caught a bad cold in Oslo and the cold temperature in my room didn't help and made my stay uncomfortable.

Everything was very good indeed. I liked that WiFi was part of the price. Good bed and bathroom. The breakfast was also very good. Only one little complaint was that I like a completely dark room and the light from the Minibar lit up the room quite a lot so I had to use towels over the Minibar to get the room completely dark.

Excellent value for the price I paid. Wonderful service, very comfortable rooms at competitive prices. Breakfast was superb and the 20% discount on other meals at the restaurant was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel to tourists and business travellers.

Nice hotel. Clean and nice. Perfect location close to everything i central Oslo. Breakfast has potenial compared to other hotels in the same pricerange in Norway.

Location is great in relation to the harbor and restaurants. We just used carry-on luggage, so we had no problem with the 10 min walk to & from the bus station which receives passengers from both Ryan Air and main airline terminals. While at the airline, hit the duty-free shop to grab a bottle for the room. Alcohol in the restaurants is priced at a premium, and the convenience stores do not stock beer/wine.

Location is good, under 1km from Oslo's central railway station. Metro, tram and airport bus goes near. Nice friendly staff. The room wasn't finest of them all but good. Be on time at the breakfast. Free internet cable.

The location was perfect, and the hotel was okei. The price was good too. Nevertheless, having three lamps broken, aircondition not working and very weak shower is not good enough for a hotel in that price range. The breakfast was good, but they could have extended it during the weekdays, not just the weekends. Staff was very friendly, and roomservice was good.

The Hotel is very well located. the room was very nice and big enough. Breakfast was good. The only little thing I didn't like was a comment that the receptionist made by the phone when I arrived at night. He made me feel very uncomfortable. Except for that I have nothing to complain about.

Didn't expect this... But the pictures actually looked like the rooms. Heated tiles in the washroom! Hardwood floors, breakfast, LCD with some channels to watch the Ski jumps... couldn't ask for more... Oh and your almost next to the metro and one street away from the main section in the city. Really impressed.

This was my second stay at the hotel in two weeks. Several of the staff recognized me and welcomed me back, even though I had only stayed one night the first time. The rooms are small, efficiently laid out and very clean. The television contains a personal welcome message when you enter the room. The first time, I stayed in a single room and the second time, I was with my son and had a double. The bathroom and room were both a bit bigger and a bit nicer in the double. The location is fantastic. The shuttle from the airport lets you off across the street from the hotel and picks up right in front. You are two blocks from the main street that runs from the Palace to the Parliament and four blocks from City Hall and the waterfront. Walking the opposite direction puts you right in the heart of the shopping area.

I chose this hotel because it is at one of the stops for the SAS Flybussen and I had two large suitcases to manage. It was convenient for this and its location was good for sightseeing, etc. The single room was tiny and the price was large (even compared to Tokyo, which is supposedly first among small rooms at high prices). The hotel lobby is also small and it opens to a restaurant and a gift shop. It also has two computers with Internet Access, a teeny little shop of its own, postcards and a bar with newspapers from all over. At night, there is free soup. My room was quite adequate, despite its small size. There is a wall-mounted television set that can also be used as an alarm clock. I had a twin bed, a desk, a chair and a bathroom. The bathroom seems typical from what I've seen of Norwegian hotels and apartments in that it has no tub and the shower floor slopes to let the water drain away. There's a button to heat the bathroom floor. The elevator made it simple to get my suitcases to the room. I requested tea for my room and after a short wait, an electric tea kettle and a small basket of tea, coffee and other supplies was delivered. The breakfast buffet is provided in the adjacent cafe and is diverse, but I wish I'd gotten there earlier in order to get an orange! The hotel shares its public bathroom with the restaurant and this was the only place in the entire hotel that I saw that didn't smell clean. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. I was able to store my luggage there all day at no charge and they were good at giving directions and recommendations. There is an electric display showing flight departure times. Be aware that there is another BW less than three blocks from this one.

The hotel is at a perfect location - 70 meters from Karl Johan Street. Good value for money, good staff approach but no wifi in the rooms - if they fix that it will be ideal for solo travelers in Oslo

+Good location, 10 min walk to Oslo S station, all sights are close to the hotel. Very good breakfast (variable). The neibours are not heard. In the evening free soup to the hotel. Free Wi-Fi and two computers in the hall. - In our room in the evening the heating was switched off for 2 days. But the receptionist gave us a portable heater.

Hotel close to tram or easy to walk to main shopping street. Central Station about 15 minute walk. I was able to walk to most attractions. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Sitting chair had a stain that could've been dried sauce or blood. Bed sheet had a stain from the first night and wasn't change the 4 nights I stayed. Room was otherwise clean. Shower water temperature would just change from warm to hot to cold. Had the curtains closed all the time as the view from my window was of the other hotel rooms. Reception staff very friendly. Breakfast had a selection of egg, bacon and sometimes sausages or potatoes and bread and cereals.

I stayed for two nights in January with a friend. The best thing with this hotel is its central location. The staff is friendly and you have free Internet access at the reception. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good, though I missed a selection of cut fresh fruits, soyamilk and glutenfree bread. The second night, we had an unpleasant experience; there was cigarette smoke coming in from the ventilating system. My friend had a sore throat so we couldn´t keep opening the window to let the smoke out all the time. At around 2 am, I went down to the reception to tell about the problem. We were offered what I suppose was the most luxurious room on the top floor of the hotel for the rest of the night... I can tell that I slept well for the rest of the night and in the morning I woke up to a tremendous view over the City Hall and the Oslofjord : )

Great location. Very good value for money. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful. They told us aaboutthe Oslo Pass which they also sell and it's a must if you plan on doing any sightseeing. The food was also good- fairly basic canteen style but with 20% off as a resident it made it the best place to eat. Also they do free soup and bread at 9pm. The maintenance wasn't brilliant, The side of the shower didn't fit properly and the hairdryer didn't work but these were minor inconveniences

It's a nice hotel but don't get your washing done there, hellishly expensive (even for Norway I think)

We stayed for two days twice on the front and back end of a recent trip to Norway. When we arrived, they had given us a standard room even though we had reserved a "family room". They quickly changed this giving us a bigger room. They gave us the same room on the second visit. The hotel is well kept, service is great, location cannot be beat (just off main walk way strip, near museums, national theater, major transportation. The breakfast buffet was fine. it is not luxurious but is comfortable and clean. Relative to other "costs" of our Norway trip, the hotel was a very good value. i would recommend it. if you come from or go to the Oslo Gardemon airport, there is an SAS bus that stops right in front of the hotel every 20 minutes. This is by far the most convenient and cheapest way to get between airport and hotel.

Really nice hotel, but there are some things that should be made clear about service. There is no wifi. They provide an ethernet cable in the room. As there is really really little free wifi in Oslo, this is a bummer. Anyone with a phone/tablet/aptop without ethernet can't get on the internet. The breakfast in the hotel almost makes up for this, though. Price from hotels.com was the best we could find, anywhere. Even locally and after speaking with the receptionist, it was still way lower.

This hotel is central to all amenities, i.e. all the major sites are within walking distance. The hotel is grand for a 3.5* star rating, the rooms are comfortable. Even though we only booked a Small Double Bedroom there was sufficient space to manoeuvre around. Room was nice and warm, little problem with TV was sorted out immediately. Breakfast was good and plentyful. In fact, many guests used the varied buffet to prepare lunches, which in itself is a great cost saving. Value for money was also good our stay worked out very reasonable for double bedroom B&B. Would go again - if only Norway wouldn't be soooo expensive.

Close to shops, restaurants and transport. And a cosy atmosphere with the Kaffistova nearby

This is a nice small hotel located in the very centre of Oslo. 5 min walk to National Theatre station where the express train from the airport arrives. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the wine shop - all near-by. Although it is in the centre, it is very quiet. Room is small (their single beds might be too narrow for some people), but clean and cozy, with trouser presser, iron, and hair dryer equipped. Free internet connection is available in the room. There is nothing luxurious about the hotel. In fact, the overall impression of the room is that it is a very high-standard dorm room with own bath room and equippement. However, it was more than perfect for me. Breakfast, served at Restaurant Kafisova, one of the traditional Norwegian restaurants in the town, is good both in quality and quantity. Hotel staff is nice and helpful. Highly recommended.

Hotell Bondeheimen was close to the Tusinghuset tram stop as well as the national gallery, and the price was excellent for Oslo hotels. Breakfast was served in the excellent Kaffistova restaurant attached to the hotel. Guests also get a 20% discount there for dinner, which was simple, but very filling (get the meatballs). We also loved the heated bathroom floor. The hotel has the potential to be a bit noisy if the window are open, but as we were there in the fall we had no problem with outside noise. Highly recommended.

My Son had a separate room. Because the radiator made a noise, he ædresser the front counter and Got a new very Good room. The bathtub was not working very well though. But they tried.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was well maintained. Parking is off-site, but it's only a 5 minute walk. The hotel is centrally located, convienent to everything (5 minute walk to waterfront). Breakfast was okay as well. I would stay here again.

Hotel rooms are not what is advertised. Sheets are dirty and suspect. Staff is unwilling to fix. As a regular business traveler to Oslo I can validate this is one of the worst hotels in Oslo.

The staff at this hotel was apathetic and not helpful. Seemed like they were doing us a huge favor. Sad, but true.

The room was clean. We were 3 people and I wish they had given us 2 beds, instead we were given 1 bed and 1 pull out couch. Our room was classified as a Family Rm. But given that, the breakfast was fantastic!!!!! I would definately use this hotel again.

About a 6 block walk from the train station. Great location, just around the corner from The Grand. Room was big by European standards. Breakfast was excellent and included in the room. Interenet was included but it was wired so no I-Pad access. We had our computer with us as well, so no problem. No air conditioning so windows had to be open. Pretty quiet the first night but the second was part time someplace close by...maybe Buckley's. I have really good earplugs and my husband can sleep thru anything, so not a problem.

I was very satisfied with my room,clean and comfortable. Very good location and like that the Flybussen stops right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was the best I have had in a long time.

the hotel was clean but right out the windows were bars with loud and late night customers therefore you could not leave your windows open and the hotel had no air conditioner the front desk personnel were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast staff at the restaurant were very slow and knew he would rather not replenish the trays of food or bother him to do so

Ask for a room away from the night club if you don't want any late night noise and everything else should be good. Friendly, helpful staff. Decent sized rooms for downtown Oslo.

Nice hotel. Nice room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location. Good rate. And if you are traveling by train or air the bus to the train station and on to the airport picks up right in front of the hotel every 15 minutes. Don't know if you can travel to the hotel from the airport on the bus. Would be nice if you could.

Hotel has the best breakfast in town and it's convenient and comfortable.

I enjoyed my staying in the hotel. it's in a really central position close to the main attractions. The room was quite small but really quiet and clean. The personnel was friendly and very kind. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location for sight seeing in Oslo city centre, minutes away from everything. Staff very polite and helpful. Room very clean and welcoming.

Very nice hotel with large comfortable rooms. Breakfast is fantastic. Only drawback is the lack of AC and a noisy street below.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Oslo. Hotel room was clean and great accommodations for families. Hotel staff was very helpful except for when we arrived at the airport I tried to call the hotel to inquire on transportation and no one answered the phone. We had no idea how far it was to the hotel and were unable to find out which bus would take us there. The train was shut down for repairs. The cab ride cost us $160 US. When I got to the hotel I asked staff why they did not answer the phone and response was there was only one person on at that time and so they didn't have time to answer the phone. The breakfast was very satisfying, many choices, which was usually our main meal for the day. I would recommend this hotel but take bus or train when running. I recommend transportation information be included in reservation information.
