Viktoria Palace Hotel - البندقية

This hotel was beautiful. My only complaints were the floor needed cleaning int he room and that you had to take the ferry across the canal to get to the hotel on Lido Island. Otherwise, perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a 20 min walk from the port or a 5 min bus ride but easy to find. The room was a little old but clean enough and very quiet. The buffet breakfast was brilliant, and I can't rate the hotel staff highly enough, sooo helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lovely restaurant for dinner which is good because there's nothing else around unless you walk back to the port. The restaurant was a very high standard and it all goes on your room charge. The island of Lido was cheaper to stay on than Venice but still there's nothing there to do, so to see anything you have to get on a boat. I booked this hotel based on the reviews given on Trip Advisor and it was well-recommended.

granted, it was one of the coldest winters in recent history, but the hotel was not prepared for it. The heating system was totally inadequate. We had to sleep in full clothing and thermal underwear to stay warm. Took them two attempts to fix the heater. The television had only one channel and the staff could not figure out how to fix that or get other channels. We were in the Annex, so the main hotel might be different. The room was very small and the bathroom miniscule. 9 Euros (about $12.00) for one hour of internet use is quite excessive. The breakfast was good. Don't know where the four stars came from.

Lovely hotel opposite lagoon; 20 min walk from ferry along waterfront or 3 min bus ride to front door. Attractive room with balcony and beautiful view. very restful after the hurly-burly of central Venice.

This is an elegant hotel in a quieter area of the Lido. It is beautifully furnished and attractive. Breakfast is good and can be eaten on the terrace overlooking the water.

This is a great place to stay if you want a quiet get away from the crowds of Venice. Easy access with the water taxi or the ferry if you have a car.

Excellent location and look & feel for a romantic getaway; not good for families since the rooms are pretty small. Everything was clean, and the view of the water was excellent. The breakfast was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We found this hotel as one of our best finds on our 8 day trip in northern Italy. It was clean, with new bathroom fixtures and apparently a recent remodel with new owners. The views on the waterway are great. It is quiet with nice restaurants in walking distance (long). The nicest thing was transportation- using the water shuttles and all the buses (every 20 min right in front of the hotel) were included in a card you could buy at the train terminal (buy the number of hours needed -48hrs.)

Like other travellers have already mentioned this hotel is a lot more than half a mile from the vaporetta. It is around a 20-25 minute walk but there is a very good bus service which runs from outside the hotel to the boats and takes 5 minutes. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable but the rooms are a little on the small side. The hotel is located right on the sea front so that there are some lovely views over the lagoon. It is also very easy to get to the beach on the Lido which means it is a good hotel option for those who want to see Venice itself and have some time on the beach.

The hotel is located on Lido Island about a 20 minute water taxi ride from the city of Venice. Lido Island is a beautiful island with its own town. Our room was spacious with a nice size bathroom.

Im Nebenhaus muss man sich entscheiden: Zimmer mit Blick auf Venedig dafür aber laut (Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Fenster auf der anderen Straßenseite). In unserem Zimmer war leider die Dusche defekt und konnte nicht repariert werden; da mangelnder Wasserdruck als Ursache angegeben wurde, scheint dies ein dauerndes Problem zu sein (wir durften in einem Zimmer mit Gartenblick duschen...). Fernseher war kaum zu gebrauchen, sehr alt, die Fernbedienung funktionierte kaum mehr. Aber man ist ja nicht in Venedig, um fernzusehen...

Das Viktoria Palace Hotel ist ein kleines Hotel auf dem Lido. Mit dem Bus ist es perfekt zu erreichen, da es sich bei der Endhaltestelle befindet. Allerdings kommt es dadurch zu Lärmbeeinträchtigungen durch den Bus. Fand ich persönlich aber nicht störend. Das Frühstück war okay. Das Hotel ist perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub um Venedig zu entdecken. Man fährt mit der Fähre nur ca. 15 min bis San Marco. Unser Zimmer mit Blick auf die Lagune war zwar klein, aber sehr nett gestaltet. Das Badezimmer wurde kürzlich neu renoviert und war sehr schön. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Viktoria Palace.

Very nice hotel! We stayed there with our 2-year old and it worked out nicely. They have a swing in the backyard and that helps when you are travelling with a 2-year old. Infront of the hotel there is limited space for parking but there is also additional parking possibilities behind locked gates on the hotel lawn. We travelled each day to Venice by the Vaporetto boat, this means we bought 72 hour tickets for the Vaporetto. Those tickets also works for the buss no V to "P San Nicolo". End station of the bus i right outside the hotel. Bus leaves every 20 minutes, even on a sunday morning! We took the bus at 06.45! Walking from the hotel to the Vaporetto station takes about 20-25 minutes. The Vaporetto leaves very very often, don't worry about having to wait for that! Also the Alilaguna "bus" from the airport stops at Lido island. Don't take the regula airportbus to Piazzale Roma and then switch to the Vaporetto, it will take much longer than just taking the Alilaguna from the airport. Breakfast buffe was a bit "small" but good quality. The only two things that would make it better would be if they served both lunch and dinner... Nice quiet and calm residential area around it. Good place to stay!

Veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Flott rom, flott utsikt, grei plass, god frokost frem til kl10 hver dag. Bussforbindelse rett utenfor hotellet, med nesten 24 timers ruter. Eneste 2 ulempene var at vi ikke fikk sjekke inn før kl14, selvom det stod fra kl12 på nettsiden dems, og at de ikke informerte oss om at det koster penger ved bruk av internet på hotellet.

Das Hotel ist renoviert, in guten Zustand, das Personal (mehr Filipinos als Italiener) ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Soweit ist alles in Ordnung und man kann dieses Hotel durchaus weiterempfehlen. Allerdings wird hier eine Gebühr für w-lan verrechnet, die noch dazu unverschämt hoch ist. Und um ein Palasthotel, wie der Name vermuten lässt, handelt es sich hier absolut nicht.

l'hotél est très bien situé, proche des transport, de la plage de lido .. etc, avec une très belle vue sur la lagune .. un très beau paysage qu'on a vraiment apprécié .. les chambres sont propres et confortables .. seuls hic le service, les hotesses ne sont pas vraiment aimables et le petit déjeuner n'est pas assez copieux :D .. en général, j'ai trop aimé l'hotél et sa position sur l'ile de lido, j'y retournerai sans hésitation
