Snowmass Mountain Chalet - سنوماس فيليدج

On the plus side, the people who work here are very nice and the freshly made french toast for breakfast was a real treat. I had read reviews that said there was no air conditioning which I did not think would be a problem during the last week of September. Even though the air outdoors was lovely & even a little brisk, the way our room was situated facing the pool made it collect all of the heat from the day so it was uncomfortably warm. The ceiling fan helped a bit but not enough & we didn't want to leave the door to the balcony open. The next AM we noticed a transom over the door that would have helped a lot. Since it was off-season, almost all of the restaurants were closed but we were able to find one that was pretty good although expensive. We stayed here just one night on a 3 week trip around the state and found Snowmass Village totally lacking in charm. It would have been much better to spend a little more to say in Aspen or less to stay in Leadville or one of the other nearby towns.

Very friendly, knowledgeable helpful front desk (Chris). Room was ok. Lobby was nice place to relax. Breakfast was included but don't waste your time. The ladies stood around eating their donuts while we hot plates laid empty of french toast and coffee pots dried up. They didn't do anything to help. I think they wanted the guests to serve them!. The service was fine in the hotel except for the breakfast help. I guess you get what you pay for (free breakfast).

The Mountains Chalet was a fine place to stay. It was affordable and easy to get around to both snowmass and aspen. You can hear noise from other rooms, outside and from the hallway. We heard someone vacuuming the hallway at 7 am on sat morning. So it's a little bit noisy but it was still a pleasant stay.

Clean, quiet, comfortable; close to Village shops. Would go back again.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation. NIce balcony with a view of the mountains. Free hot breakfast and WiFi. Located near the Snowmass Mall, convenient for catching bus to Aspen.

Room is spacious , clean, but a little bit old. Great location with free parking nearby. the breakfast is just okay not to much choice.

Would rate this higher except that they were going to be closing in one week and many of the restaurants were closed or had limited menus. Long drive to off property amenities.

This place was like a cheap motel dropped on a ski slope. Our room was small and the decor/furnishings were a virtual mish-mash of colors, patterns and ugly brick walls. Everything was very 80s, as if they had not updated anything since that time. The bed was rock hard with a very cheap comforter. The difference between a standard room and a deluxe room (which we paid more for) was that the deluxe had a view of the slopes and pool. No one was at the front desk to answer the phone after about 9pm, dialing 0 took you to the general voicemail. Will go back to staying at Wildwood Resort for the same or less money - far superior to this place!

Great breakfast, friendly staff, and all very clean!

We, my wife and I, arrived around 1:00 a.m from a long drive from Vegas, We called ahead to inform the front desk that we would be late in checking in. They said front desk is closing around 10;00 and said our key would be in an envelope and instructions where we could park our car. The neighborhood is very quiet and quite lovely. The next morning we checked in at from desk and a had a nice breakfast which was included in the price of the room. It was from7:30 to 9:00 am. It included toast, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, water, eggs and bacon. Not to shabby if I do say. The room rate goes up around Thanksgiving weekend though becacuse of the winter season.

For the money that I paid for the room I was very surprised to get such roomy and comfortable accommodations. I would go back in the ski season for sure. It is a true ski in ski out place.

My friend and I stayed at your hotel simply for the fact that it was close to the Snowmass Jazz Festival we planned to attend and that the hotel rate was very resasonable. The hotel it's self was nice and clean and we especially enjoyed having our continental breakfast out ide over looking a stellar view ! The kitchen staff were very courteous and polite. Future Jazz festivals or not I plan to stay again at Snowmass Mountain Chalet and will reccomend it to friends and family. Thanks again for making my end of summer celebration memorable.

Tucked away in an area of expensive hotels and lodges, the property is perfectly located to catch the shuttle, shop, dine, of enjoy an evening.... all with easy walking distance.

If you want a luxury room this is not the place to stay, however if you are like us and want to be outdoors and in the pool as much as possible this place is really great. Near to restaurants, slopes and mountain life. Breakfast was fine and room comfortable though basic. We didn't pay for parking as it was free a few hundred metres away, this was recommended by the very friendly hotel staff.

The only mistake we made in choosing this hotel was timing our departure from our previous stop poorly and arriving in Snowmass Village in the dark. Mountain resort towns are difficult enough to navigate during the day, but at night, you really have no idea where you're going. But we did make it. The fellow working the counter was totally friendly, recommended a great local bar and grill and the conveniently-located-500-feet-away Snowmass Mall, and really did a good job of making us feel welcome. Our room was really clean, and a had a great deal of unique charm. We were impressed with the dining areas, our private balcony, and the 3rd-floor lounge. Basically, we agreed that this was a really cool hotel. Only 2 things kept it from being perfect: 1) the rooms had no air conditioning. While not a problem at 8000 feet above sea level for most folks, and this place is sort of a ski-lodge that sees peak occupancy in the winter, it was just a personal comfort issue. The window fan we were provided with just didn't quite keep it cool enough for us. 2) Even in the off-season, get down to breakfast EARLY. They stop serving at 9...because it's all gone by 8:20.

the Chalet was a great value. If you can't afford to stay in Aspen, this was a great choice. Free breakfast, free parking about 1 block away, and a shuttle just down the street if needed. It was a little dated, but for the money, who cares. Stayed there in early August and the window fans were plenty to keep things cool.

Shower spigot was broken and leaked profusely thru wall into the hallway: management asked me to stop showering and walk down the hall (wet) to another room to shower; likewise, whole family had to shower elsewhere abd shuttle back. Also the blow dryer didnt work in our room - lucky we had access to another room's blow dryer. No discount or apology offered.

I was in Snowmass for an antique show at the Snowmass Mall and needed an inexpensive place to stay. The Mountain Chalet is in a great location by the Mall and liftsand is a very clean, comfortable place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is included, a wonderful home away from home!

If you are used to the usual "continental breakfast", the breakfast at this hotel will spoil you forever. Each morning was a different delicious full breakfast cooked in a real hotel kitchen, and included in the cost of the stay. (Also, the pool was nice, one of the few that I actually would get in.

The room was clean and convenient for dinner and shopping. The bed was so extremely hard it was difficult to sleep. Quiet and front desk was friendly.

We went to the Chalet for two nights in the first week of August and it was just right. We were college kids traveling on a budget and it was cheap and perfect. Not posh or super stylish, but clean and convenient to central and upper snowmass. The parking really wasn't an issue- I read about it being far away/ in public lots, but it's really about a two minute walk and not an issue at all. Same with the air conditioning- you're in the mountains! It doesn't get hot, and all the rooms have fans if you really want them. Breakfast was fine, no one was expecting a five star restaurant. The pool closes at nine but they'll let you stay until 10:30 if you're quiet.

Good Hotel for its price. We reached at midnight and the reception desk was shut. They had left our keys on the front desk - Relief. Nice Room with 2 Queen Size beds we booked (was conditional as we booked from Hotels.com), Excellent breakfast in the morning and we checked out. Totally worth the price!

We had a great time staying here, the people that worked there were super nice and helpful. We had a great breakfast each morning, and the views from the deck and room were great. Will go back again.

Great room, hard bed, nice fridge, nice bathroom, great balcony, decent shower, exaggerated breakfast menu (terribly disappointing as I happen to like coffee cake and bagels and they neglected to put those out both mornings. Although there was plenty of cream cheese for our toast). Close enough to free parking and close to the bus stops. So i was mostly happy with my stay!

This a great place to stay. We had another couple with us and has semi adjoining suites which made it very comfortable for everyone. We had privacy but yet could visit with one another without banging on each others door. The breakfast was great as well as the gondola ride to Snowmass Village. I recommend this hotel as a great place to stay.

Not the most modern, but adequate. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is only about 100yards from the shuttle bus stop to Aspen (free). The parking was free which means a lot in this part of Colorado. If I was planning on spending time in the room during the day, in the summer, I would choose another property since this one did not have air conditioning. Out stay was in July and the night time air was cool enough to cool the room...but not during the day. Lots of dogs at this property. Not necessarily a negative or positive. Just be aware.

We were seeking a cheap hotel for just 1 night's stay in June. This hotel fits that description. It was budget but clean. I imagine during the ski season the location would be ideal. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the fact that the rooms had a fridge. The bedding needs updating though, very dark and old looking!

Nothing special, but clean and easy to use.

This place is within a short walk of the stage for the concerts at Fanny Hill. It's dog friendly (for a lot less than many hotels charge) and the free hot breakfast was great! The bonus is that it cost less than most of the hotels in the same area with the same amenities!

The beds were not that comfortable and the carpet in the room seemed dirty. The stay was short for us and we were disapointed that the breakfast wasn't available before we had to leave. Overall it was an ok hotel. For almost the same price we could have gotten a condo.

I loved this hotel. Everything was just right!

We had an amazing stay at the mountain chalet. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean, comfortable and ours looked recently updated. Breakfast is an amazing addition to this wonderful chalet. I would highly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to the ski lifts, mall and shuttle. There is little else one could want. Thank you for such a relaxing stay.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel conveniently located to the village center, the mountain and to public transportation. The room was comfortable, clean and worth every cent we paid for our stay. Breakfast was particularly good with a nice, sunny view of the ski run just outside the patio doors. We'll stay here on our next trip to Snowmass. Good value for the money.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were cute and comfortable and the outdoor hot tub/pool was great. If their rates are at all reasonable during ski season (doubtful, but a girl can dream), I might be making a return visit! If you do visit in the summer or early fall, plan to eat in Aspen - there were very few restaurants open in Snowmass Village itself when I was there.

It was ok didn't have air window fan instead. When I made reservations it said spa bath and was just a standard bath tub. Parking was a distance from hotel gargage for extra charge.
