Renaissance St. Louis Grand Hotel - سانت لويس

The rate was great and you can't beat the location for downtown stay. Close to Cardinals and Rams games, Arch, City Musuem, etc. All within walking distance.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We included the breakfast buffet both mornings and it was very good. The room was not very big but nice and clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

The hotel is in a great location downtown, has all the amenities (bar, restaurant, concierge services. The price is right for weekend getaways, and it's definitely in St Louis's happening neighborhood!

We liked the hotel & the convienence to the ballpark. The room was very clean & the staff accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves & hope to return in the near future.

Excellent hotel! We had a wonderful stay. My only complaint was the whirlpool: most of the jets did not work.

The hotel was in a great location. You could walk less than 15 minutes and reach The Gateway Arch, the City Museum, and Busch Stadium. The hotel staff was very friendly.

This is a beautiful hotel in Downtown St. Louis - very convenient location and the hotel lobby also looks very nice. However, the customer service we encountered from check-in, to the bar service in the hotel bar, to the restaurant, and the check-out service REALLY need significant improvement. Everyone seemed very impatient in this hotel, take no time to tell us about the hotel (even when asked), and the bar staff were beyond rude. This is a gorgeous hotel and the rooms are well kept, but the staff made this a terrible experience. I will never return.

The mattress must have been 20 years old and the towels had yellow stains. The air conditioner made some weird noises -- not a nice, steady noise, but random loud noises. The bar prices are way too high considering the hotel is not that nice. Also, the bar staff was NOT friendly at all!

I stayed at the Renaissance because of its location, directly opposite the Americas Center. Many of the other conference attendees did too, so the hotel was full. The experience was generally good, except for some important shortcomings. First, the internet connection in my room, both wired and wireless was, for practical purposes, non-functional. It mostly did not work at all, and when it did was extremely slow. The explanation I was given at the reception desk was that because the hotel was full the service could not cope. If a hotel is going to sell high-speed internet for $14.95 a day, then it should make sure that it works. To the hotel's credit, however, they did not charge me for it in the end. Second, the air conditioning unit in my room must have had a compressor worthy of a Mac truck: the rumble when it kicked in made for a very disturbed sleep (and I am hard of hearing). This problem was not confined to my room, apparently, since another guest told me she had the same problem. Finally, while the staff in the bar were very helpful and attentive, they were rather let down by the kitchen staff. I ordered a pizza, and waited close to an hour for it to arrive. If it had been a genuine, made-from-scratch, wood-fired delicacy, I would have minded less, but it consisted of packaged flatbread with packaged tomato sauce and mozzarella: something that could be whipped up in 5 minutes.

It was nice, but we thought it was expensive at the bar and starbucks!

It was exactly what I anticipated it to be. Had a relaxing time.

Wi-Fi did not work. TV was a non-HDTV.

We had a great stay. The employees were very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean. We were in walking distance from the Arch and City Museum. The kids had fun in the pool and hot tub. Great places to eat around the hotel. Definitely stay there again.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff was accomodating and pleasant. The breakfast was a full buffet and very good. We will stay there again.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Good Breakfast

Very nice hotel. My only gripe was that they put me in the overflow parking garage which was further away and a bit of a pain to get to. The room was very nice though, especially the bathroom. It was definitely a good place to stay when going to a Cardinal's game. Easy walk to and from the game and also an easy walk to other downtown attractions. I highly recommend!

No Wi-Fi in the room, cumbersome check-in process for reservations made on Hotels.com, not enough linens in the bathroom (one wash cloth), no replenishment of shampoo during stay.

I'm sure many people would appreciate the location to all of the downtown sporting events. I was there during 4 sporting events happening that weekend. It was wall to wall people. The parking was a nightmare. I would certainly stay again, if I ever choose to attend either baseball, hockey or marathon events...not so much for a Mother's Day weekend quiet get away.

Employees were very friendly and helpful .

We liked the hotel close to the baseball park since we were going to a game. Also close to the arch and other downtown activities.

Hotel was in a great location. Only bad thing was the noise of the elevators and people in the halls.

The common spaces (main lobby, restaurant, etc.) was very nice. The room was a let down, needed updating and smelled of BO and crayon... what?

The staff in the pool area was very rude and not helpful at all. There is a parking garage NOT FREE, it is an additional $12/night. I really thought that there would be so much more offered to guests. Not even a continental breakfast. Just really not what I expected in a hotel of this calibur!

Good but parking is a pain if you do not valet.

Pillows were not the best you had to use two pillows to try and get any comfort. They looked good but as soon as you put your head down they flattened out to nothging.

At my stay I was able communicate with no hassle. The location is walking distance from many things to do.

I didn't leave the hotel while on my business trip, so I can't really address the surrounding neighborhood. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was good. The bed was very comfortable and the room seemed clean and well maintained.
