Can't wait to stay there again!

We appreciated your dog friendliness, and did not mind the charge for bringing our mature small dog. We thought the hotel was convenient and comfortable. We were there for a wedding, but some of the information about this wedding was not known by the front desk (info about shuttle service to the event and back, info about reception and brunch). We would have greatly appreciated free internet access.

The Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi in Texas is very convenient because it is located at the heart of the city and just across the marina and close to points of interest, i.e. museums, restaurants, etc.

Pros: Lots of available food options, Club level is very nice and worth the additional price, $5 credit towards food and beverage if you decline housekeeping per day, very business friendly Cons: Hotel restaurant is way overpriced and took forever for my order when I was the only one in the restaurant, no free breakfast expect for Club level, Wifi is very slow in rooms

We thought the ocean view would be the main attraction but found several nightspots on Water Street and Chapparal Streets. Also plenty of good places to eat. We did not dine in the hotel but did have a couple of drinks in the lobby bar, the service was excellent and all of the staff we ran into were very friendly. The diner restaurant across the street was good food and handy. We live in a small town near Corpus and spent New Year Eve 2012 at the hotel.

The hotel is located at a great spot one block from Ocean Side Blvd which is a beautiful place to stroll about. The service was very good and the facilities had plenty of things to do. There are two restaurants on the property. We didn't get to go to the one on top of the building but the one downstairs. The service was OK but the food was pretty bad and you can't help it but feel that you got ripped-off. Our room had a view of the beach towards the aircraft carrier museum. The room was nice but there was a constant rumbling noise as if there was a service elevator adjacent to our room (for all I know, that was the case). You can get used to the sound but it will take sometime before that. We ran out of toilet paper and there wasn't anymore to be found anywhere. Overall, it is a nice hotel but it could take some improvements into making it even better. One plus was the treatment by the staff. They were very attentive and apologetic if something took to long to get done. Having said all that, I would return to this hotel should we find ourselves back in Corpus Christi.

Service was great, very friendly staff. The food at The Glass Pavilion and Republic of Texas was excellent. Would definitely stay at another Omni hotel again.

We have stayed at a lot of hotels and none compare to the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone at this hotel. We will ALWAYS stay here anytime we are in Corpus from now on. It is also within walking distance to the WaterStreet Restaurant that has the most amazing seafood. Loved our stay here !!!

My room had a great view of the Bay and the activity on the piers downtown. The room was comfortable, roomy and quiet! Would use this hotel anytime I need to be in the area.

Good value for money. Breakfast is not included in price. Hotel location very good, in front of the marina.

Breakfast buffet was excellent. We had a waiter named AZllison who was very ocurteous and thoughtful--great service!

Loved the room! Great price. Was worth it. The bed was so comfortable. The exercise equipment could use an update. But overall, we had a good time.

The overall experience was great. The man working at the front desk got me a room with a view, just like I had asked. Breakfast in bed was exactly what I ordered. The only thing that I didn't like was the drunk guests making lots of noise in the lobby. Other than that, perfect. I would definitely go back there.

In spite of the fact I had the front desk call security three times one night due to party/hardy next room neighbors, I give this hotel several thumbs up. The front desk tried hard to quiet these folks and ultimately the revelers did calm down at a reasonable hour. The service was superb and friendly. The hotel art was the best I've seen. The room was incredibly comfortable and the walk to the American Bank Center was perfect.

Arrival at 2:50pm. Delay by 1 hour for check-in due to room not ready. Older room fixtures, furnishings and decor.

The hotel is part of a pair of towers right by the water- I was in the Omni Marina. It is a beautiful view and quiet location (when they're not jack hammering up the streets all night which isn't the hotel's fault). The staff was friendly and it's generally a nice place. But, it's just plain tired and in need of a face-lift. The carpet was very dirty and everything was showing signs of age. The ancient TV couldn't be turned to be seen in the room's chair- the only place you could watch TV was in bed. I've certainly stayed in worse places, but I expected more from Omni properties.

Very nice, staff friendly, Housekeeping very good, there is a very nice resteraunt with great food, but you have to walk in and find someone to seat you. Once inside and seated the service is very good, and the food is above average.

Hotel was close to the event center we were attending. The hotel was nice enough, breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very nice. Location is fabulous with a gulf view for every room.

I did not like the fact there was no acess to the balcony. I had asked for this, The pool not in working order even if you can go to the other hotel to use theirs , it is a inconvience, The bed was really unconfortable and the pillows are terrible. The room was very clean and the staff was very nice but the rooms had no menu for the room service.

Was disappointed that when I booked my reservation no one told me the indoor and outdoor pool was closed for repairs. My two grandchildren were extremely disappointed. I was also told that I could be upgraded to 2 Queen beds - they do not have any queen beds in the Hotel. We asked for extra pillow and a blanket - never got it. We were told the wi-fi was free - I was billed $9.95 but later credited. One elevator was down, so service to the 12th floor was slow. I paid extra for this Hotel thinking it would be a perfect weekend to spend with the grandkids, could have received the same room for $59 down the street with a pool! Very disappointed that a 4 star would not come through. Should have asked to be moved to the other Omni down the street, but they never offered and for all I know their pool may be under repair as well.

I will not stay at this hotel again. Our room was tiny compared to the pictures on the web site. The pool was not open. There was only one working elevator. Everything was WAY overpriced. We were definitely not satisfied.

We stayed at the 700 block tower location. From vallet to room service, everyone went the extra mile. We have two small children. When we checked in they were given small backpacks with coloring books and a "things to see" book. Each night we had a knock on the door, and the staff brought our boys milk and cookies before bedtime. We have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels and this has never happened. We would highly recommend staying here. Kudos to the entire staff!

Very nice hotel with a location right at the marina walking distance to the pier, food, night clubs. Only problem we noticed is our 12th floor room did get alot of traffic noise, but the soft feather pillows solved that problem very nicely. Hotel staff even sent us complimentary champagne and strawberries to help us celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. Their sister hotel, Omni Corpus Christie Hotel - Bayfront, is only 1 block away and has a wonderful resturant call Republic of Texas. Superb service, excellent food, exceptional views and great value.

You couldn't ask for anything more with this hotel. The view was awesome, food was excellent and within walking distance of several fun places to hang out. Loved this hotel and will hopefully get to stay here again.

Our recent stay at the Omni Bayfront Hotel was great! The hotel is lovely, well maintained, gives great service and has wonderful views. We love this hotel!

Great place to stay within walking distance of the bay, marina, dining, nightlife, and attractions. The Omni is consistently clean, quiet, and comfortable.

I understand that checkin on a busy weekend may be a little hectic, but checkin was at 3:00pm and we got there at 4:00pm and our room was still not ready. We were told we would receive a phone call to notify us that our room was ready and the call never came. Luckily when we went back at 7:00 our room was finally ready but it was an inconvenience to go to your room late, just to sleep on a lumpy bed. Beds desperately need to be looked at to replace the old ones. We got one.

the view was great, lots of kids running up and down the halls, had a cocktail up on the bar on the top floor and it was the highlight with the 180 degree view of the water. lots of nice restaurants in the area

This is a very nice hotel - comfortable, clan, stylish. Comfy beds. Make sure you request a room with a good view - the views range from terrible to fantastic. Great location. Very close to the pier and walking distance to the best restaurants, bars, etc. Staff is not the best, but they will make things right and are attentive. Don't plan on excellent service during busy holidays, though.

The hotel was nice and the service very good but the pool was so dirty. My son wanted to get in the pool but I didn't let him go.

I think they under rated hotel is perfect location and I would let everyone know they have a ferry for 3 a person it takes you over to the beach area and to the SS Lincoln they don't give you this info at desk.The restaurant on the 20 floor was the best meal I have had in a long time you just have to watch the bartender double charged for drinks.They also have city trolley that pick up outside hotel so enjoy

We had originally booked the Omni Marina and changed our reservation to the BayView. This was a great choice since the BayView has been newly remodeled. The upgrade price was well worth it. The staff was great! Every request was answered promptly and everyone went above and beyond to meet our needs. The hotel was very clean and our room was well taken care of. The meal that we ate at the hotel (breakfast) was better than anything that we could have found in town. (Even if I were not staying at the Omin, I would go there for breakfast.) The location was great for the downtown beach, the local attractions and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The only draw back to our stay was that there was a conference in town that weekend and there were a lot of people in the pool area up until it closed at 10pm. The day of our departure, we went around to other hotels and checked out some rooms and will never stay at any other hotel. When we come to Corpus Christi, the Omni will be the ONLY place we stay. We can't wait to return!
