Hotel Lorenzo Il Magnifico - فلورنس

This hotel seems to cater more to business travelers than to American tourists, but we really enjoyed our stay. We were traveling by car and needed a hotel with parking but also not too far from the city center. This hotel was perfect for our needs. You do have a long walk to get to major sites (Duomo or main train station for example) but the hotel is fairly close to the museum of San Marco and the Ospedale degli Innocenti, so you have things to stop and see as you head to other sites. We found this hotel to be pleasant, clean, convenient and comfortable. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity.

The hotel is a bit further away from the historic centre, but not that far from the station. This makes it a good vaue for money choice for a 4 star accomodation. The room was not massive. but nicely furnished and overall very clean. The TV reception was not very good. Only one channel seemed to work., but it didn't bother us, so we let it go. The free WiFi connection in the room was also a bit hit and miss. Internet access was much better in the hotel lounge.The breakfast was ample for Italian standard. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice bathroom including an ever-so-small tub to soak those well worn feet...since you'll have to hoof it pretty far to see all the sites! Great wifi and even a PC we used to upload photos to a website. Bedspread and blanket could use a good cleaning but the room was spacious and clean otherwise.

Should you choose to book a reservation at the Lorenzo il Magnifico, you are in for a delightful surprise. Its environment reflects the fact that it is a renovated palazzo. Each morning I enjoyed soaking in an oversized tub with jacuzzi jets. The breakfast was delicious with many options, and included freshly made cappuchino. The staff was solicitous, informed, and really helpful. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I hope your trip will include this wonderful hotel.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Getting back to our nicely air-conitioned room after a few hours in the hustle and bustle of Florence in the summer was always a welcome relief. The conceirge was extremely helpful, our room was large and had character, the internet was free, and the free breakfast was very satisfying. Only downside was twenty minute walk (or 10 euro cab) from train station. Recommended.

The hotel was awesome. It was so beautiful with the high ceilings and beautiful decor. I absolutely loved the room and the breakfast was really good too. The only drawback for me was that the location was farther away from most of the sight seeing we did and trying to get back and forth at night was somewhat of a hastle. If you like being away from the crowds, this would be the place to stay.

Enjoyed the 4 night stay at this hotel. We got a nice room, didn't have much of a view but was large and spacious. Was cleaned very well every day. About 15 minute walk into the centre which was alright. Breakfast could be a bit better, no tomatoes! Could use fresh fruit salad too. It was still noce though and service very friendly.

L'hôtel é pulito confertevole e vicino alla Fortezza, dove si svolgono le fiere, che é raggiungibile a piedi. Secondo me si potrebbe migliorare il sevizio della colazione dove dalla cucina proveniva un chiacchierio un po' eccessivo, anche il canale radio proposto non era all'altezza del resto della situazione. Personale allareception molto disponibile e cordiale.

L'hotel est situé au nord de la ville à une quinzaine de minutes de la place de la république. On peut tout faire à pied et laisser la voiture au parking de l'hotel (10€) car seuls les résidents peuvent stationner dans Florence.Demander une chambre à l'arrière car beaucoup de passge devant l'hotel surtout le matin. personnel charmant. Les chambres sont un peu tristes mais avec une déco vieille Italie qui a son charme. Petit dejeuner un peu limite.

AC fungerade inte i rummet, tvärtom det kom varm luft från den vi fick övernatta två nätter med klagomål tills vi fick byta rum till slut. det var outhärligt. Ingen kompensation. Personalen var service inriktade men samtidigt inga trevliga. Långt och gå till Florens centrum.

Lite, trivelig hotell. God forkostbuffet.

Hôtel à deux minutes en taxi de la gare train et bus, personnel très disponible et serviable, très propre. Petit déjeûner buffet avec large choix. Très calme par rapport aux bruits de circulation. Petit bémol sur mauvaise insonorisation lorsque des personnes rentrent tard et ne font pas attention au sommeil des autres. Sinon ..... tutti va bene ......

Gutes Preis -Leistungsverhätlnis. Kann Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Hatten die Suite im Parterre.

Nice hotel in a pleasent area apart from the main turist area. Easy to walk everywhere.

Für ein 4-Sternehotel ist der Komfort ungenügend. Fernseher funktioniert nicht. Schlechte Steckdosen und sanitäre Anlagen schön aber schlecht montiert. der grosse nachteil ist, dass das Hotel fern vom Zentrum und praktisch nur zu Fuss erreichbar ist. Wer aber Ruhe sucht, hat diese in diesem Hotel.

Achei um hotel ótimo, os quartos são bem limpos e completos.. Achei bem localizado, da pra ir a pé para os passeios turisticos, questão de 20 minutos de caminhada...Atendimento excelente, café da manhã delicioso, hotel muito bonitinho. Chuveiro e cama excelente!

The room interior is very old and really need to be renovated. The temperature of the air conditioning could not be control by myself. There was no remote control in the room. On the first night I arrived, the air conditioning was very weak. There were some mosquitoes in the room. After I complained, the staff took the remote control to lower the temperature on the next day. But it became freezing after that. Hotel.com described there is wireless internet in the room, but actually Wi-Fi is only provided in the lobby area. So I will not stay in this hotel next time. The only advantage is that the breakfast is good.

The hotel was ok, not fancy but ok for a "big-city" explorer. The distance to the city center is approximately 30min.

Ble tatt imot av en hyggelig resepsjonist som var veldig hjelpsom og snakket bra engelsk. Et par av de andre som jobbet der var ikke så stødige og mindre hjelpsomme. Rommet lå i 1.etg i bakgården og var romslig, men det var ganske rått og badet var veldig kaldt og fuktig. Lite varmtvann i dusjen var det også, tydeligvis lurt å være tidlig oppe. Ulempen var at det ble endel støy fra felles inngang for alle som bodde i samme hus. Ellers var det lite støy fra gate. Hotellet ligger 10-15 minutters gåavstand til sentralstasjon og sentrum og det er lite å se i nærheten. Frokosten var god og sengene var behagelige.
