The Hotel was really nice but unfortunately everything is closed by the time you come back from a day out in venice even the restaurant . it must be alright in the summer but October is not the ideal time to stay in Murano.

The hotel was not where we expected and when the tide was high we were not informed of this in advance. We were stuck on the island for a day and then had to where garbage bags on our legs carrying our luggage over our heads to leave. I understand you can't help mother nature, but had we know there weren't ways around this like in Venice we would have stayed in the city itself.

Love this place, friendly as can be, if you want to relax this is the place to be

When we arrived the only staff was a cleaner who spoke no English. Reception was locked so we hung around the front door. After some long time a man turned up to book us in. I asked whether the WiFi was included, and this offended him greatly and he informed us that it was 3 euros for 30 mins. After that he was not pleasant, and he showed us to our room was and disappeared. The room itself was just OK. Not the standard we expected as we had paid for a 'superior' room. The bathroom was cramped and the shower was a joke, and was so weak it took ages to have a decent shower. The tiny TV had very few channels, and but only one was in English, and that was CNBC which broadcasts business news 24/7. Not great, but we were in Venice to watch TV. Breakfast was a strange affair with the usual rolls with jam or honey, cereals and tinned fruit salad, but nothing savoury. I eventually bought my own breakfast ingredients and kept the in the room fridge. There was no tea or coffee making facility either in the room, or as far as we could see anywhere else in the hotel other than at breakfast. We found only one staff member to be helpful. She let us store our cases between booking out and the time we had to leave Venice for the airport. We will not stay again.

Not the easiest location to find on Murano island. It's clean, and the two women working there are doing their best to take good care of everything, from breakfast and the actual rooms. It`s the first (only) place in Italy where we didn`t have free Internet access. Breakfast was ok (everything was sweet, nothing savoury). There was a Venice-Murano map in the room, but it looked identical to all the other promotional materials, so we didn`t notice it. When we asked the reception for a map, they said they didn`t have any... Also, the toilet was the weirdest looking one I`ve ever seen (no lid, and the shape reminded me of those ones you see in prison movies...). Air conditioning didn`t work (the management stopped it, probably to save money). Shower leaked (although there was a big notice on the desk about they do to be green...).

No signage with regards to where the hotel is located on Murano Island.There was no one in reception to meet us, which made it all a little confusing.The bathroom was so small, one was unable to dry off in there and had to sit sideways on the toilet. Really very small !! The only place to have supper...after 6pm...was a resturant that we came across by accident...after asking lots of people and other resturants, which all close about 6pm. Was a wonderful holiday...water taxis were brilliant, just the accomadation left much to be desired.

Easy connection from airport by water bus. Use the Red line and get off at 1st stop (Museo) it's about a 5 min walk from there. Hotel is quiet, rooms are clean but could benefit from a little modernisation. Breakfast is served from around 7-10am and is basic yes sufficient. There are juices, coffee machine, bread, jam, fruit and toast amongst other things and you can either sit inside or on a small roof terrace. Water bus service into Venice is excellent but if you intend to use it a few times but a 3or 4 day pass when you first get to the airport, it will save you a fortune. Also note that if you intend to get the water bus from and to the airport you need a separate ticket. The only down side about murano is that the entire island seemed to close down at 8pm and we could only find 1 restaurant open and a small pizza/sandwich shop. All in all the hotel was great value for money and an ideal place for a quiet 2-3 day break.

Locanda Conterie is a charming hotel on Murano. The location was very convenient for us since we didn't want to be in a noisy part of Venice and this hotel was exceptionally quiet! We also really enjoyed Murano as we got to visit glass-blowers in their working place and see lots of extraordinary works of art... and even buy one for our home! Breakfast was simple (cereal, bread, croissants, fruit salad, fruit juices) with good coffee machines. Bed was a bit hard for our taste, but everything else in the room was good : powerful air conditioning (which could be kept on for as long as we wanted), excellent water pressure (lots of hot water too), cute little Murano sconces, we even had sky lights. Everything was clean. The location of the Locanda wasn't a problem as there was a vaporetto (boat shuttle) 2 minutes away which took between 15 and 30 min to reach Venice. We only returned once a day to sleep as there is really so many things to do in Venice and Murano, but if you want to go back to the hotel a few times during the day, it might get annoying. But everything is so lovely there, you'll even enjoy the vaporetto rides and the scenery! Finally, we had to pay a tax on check-out which was 1 EUR per person per night per star (this hotel is three stars.) This is common in Italy, but it wasn't written anywhere so be prepared.

We loved staying at this lovely hotel. The vaporetto ride to and from Venice was easy and fun. So quiet and peaceful on this little island.

This hotel was a nice budget hotel for me and my boyfriend on our eurotrip together. The best thing about the hotel was the price and the service. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with questions and directions. The worst thing was the distance from Venice and the main attractions. This hotel is located on the island of Murano which is about a 15 minute boat ride to Venice and Lido. The boats cost was decent but picks you up at very specific places on the island. Taking the boat everywhere took time out of our every day time budget so that was quite convenient. However the island Murano was beautiful and filled with friendly people. Its a very quiet town and everything closes nearly before 7pm. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

comfortable, quiet hotel with helpful staff. Not so great if with teenagers! However, with the water bus easy to explore other islands (Burano, etc) and escape the high-density Venetian tourist rat-run!

Overall, it's been pleasant, but I think it has got to do with the company of my family rather than the hotel itself. The hotel is good if you want to get away from the maddening crowds on the main island of Venice. It's situated in a residential area and it's all very peaceful and quiet. The room is on the whole well-kept and clean. But the hotel breakfast is the worst I've ever had travelling in Europe. The coffee machine doesn't work well--milk tastes slightly sour--cappucino tastes horrid! Bread is stale and croissants are not fresh either--comes in sealed packaging. The milk jug is like a dumbbell, yes, so you can't be bothered to even lift it up. Hotel staff not exactly friendly and even condescending at times. You don't really feel welcome. But well, if you want peace and quiet after a long day in Venice, it's still an option to consider.

They hotel was mediocre but the location was outstanding. Once the tourists leave Murano in the early evening. The town is perfectly quiet and a delight. The room at the hotel was decently clean, but the bed wasn't terribly comfortable. Nonetheless, we got a restful sleep. We would stay here again.

Good hotel, service was as good as it gets but it would be much more worth your money to just stay on Venice as getting back to murano is difficult after 8pm via public transportation

Near the edge of the island where everything is in walking distance, hotel was really cute and had an antique vibe. Only complaint was the air condition went off randomly in the middle of the night but came back on. Good hotel for a nice price

Hotel was nice quaint and clean. Room was okay except for no view and hard pillows. Location was out of the way and suggest print out directions before going especaialy to get off at the proper water taxi spot in bad weather. Staff was great but if your use to a big American breakfast then not much there for you.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. it is in a very quiet location but there are restaurants and shops within 200 yds of the hotel. Whilst breakfast wasn't great, eating on the sun terrace made up for it. Great value and away from the crowds, a great place to escape after a busy day in Venice.

My husband and I loved this hotel, it is very cute and cosy. The Murano chandeliers give it a romantic touch. i would highly recommend it to my friends.

Great hotel, the island is an ideal spot to stay away from the main bustle and high cost of the city centre. Lovely boat ride across. Close to transport. Nice hotel, was with parents and we were split between the 2 sites but they are just up the street. Highly recommended.

We we're pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The decor is wonderful. Never in all my travels have I seen a hotel with such charm. Just be prepared to travel lite because like Venice you will have to walk from the canal to the hotel, about 5 minutes on cobblestone streets. Breakfast was basic but good. The rooms are nicer than the pictures. You do have to climb stairs.

The hotel was great. If you plan to stay here, you should keep in mind that it takes 20 min or so to get to Venice by vaporetto, which was fine for us since we were here for 3 days and had plenty of time. The hotel shampoo was great! The A/C worked nice and strong!

nıce and cute place to stay. the woman ıs very nıce and helpful but the man ıs a jerk. avoıd hım. make sure the key to the outsıde gate works before you leave. check the ferry tımes because hotel ınfo ıs not completely accurate. cheers.

We were looking for a romantic get-a-way and this hotel fit the bill. It is located on Murano, away from the crowds, and among the people who actually live on the island. In the days we stayed there, we got to know many shopkeepers and many locals. The hotel is beautiful, with nice details. Everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was typical. We were there in mid-March - no crowds, a little chilly, and a little out of the way. Still, we would stay here again in a second.

Hôtel vieillot, en fin de course, aucun service (plus de réception après 10h30!), clim in-réglable, 1 ampoule sur 3 dans la salle de bains, etc... Pour clore le tout un très gros chantier en face de l’hôtel et un atelier de verrerie, en service, au Rez de Chaussée sous les chambres. début de la journée de travail 7h! sympa pour le calme!

Je garde un bon souvenir de mon passage, chambre très propre avec une odeur très agréable tous les jours. Petit déjeuner correct pour les voyageurs français, pour d'autres nationalités manque peut être la charcuterie et l'oeuf à bacon. Le seul petit soucis, pas beaucoup d'eau chaude et de pression dans la chambre n°11 celle que j' occupé.

bel hotel avec son charme italien, personnels agréables, manque un peut de qualité sur le petit déjeuner, mais reste un hotel a conseiller, propre et prix non excessif. Arret du vaporetto a 5 minutes a pied de l'hotel.

L'hôtel est situé sur l'île de Murano à environ 15 min de bateau (direct) de l'arrêt ferrovia (Venise). Compter plus si autre ligne. Nous avons trouvé très agréable de nous réfugier le soir sur cette île après l'agitation de la journée sur Venise. C'est un choix qu'il faut prendre en compte. En effet amateur d'ambiance nocturne s'abstenir!!! On arrive toujours à dénicher un endroit pour manger sur Murano, avec de bonnes surprises (le B par exemple, excellent). J'ai lu des commentaires sur les petits déjeuners proposés par l'hôtel et pour ma part je l'ai trouvé très bien.C'est sûr, ce sera toujours mieux dans un 4 étoiles , mais pour cet hôtel et vu le prix de la chambre , il faut pas en demander plus! Enfin j'ai trouvé le côté surrané des chambres charmant!!!!!

Fint værelse god plads roligt ud til lukket gård. Badeværelse ok. Sparsom morgenmad , venlig og hjælpsom betjeninging Beliggenheden giver fred men man skal sejle for at komme derfra øen byder ikke på aften underholdning , der er 3 restauranter . Der går mange både til Venedig som nås på 20 min.

Posto carino e in una posizione favorevole per chi vuole l'atmosfera della laguna senza il caos di Venezia. Camera carina ma senza le zanzariere... a giugno è stato un po' un inferno. Colazione poco ricca e senza cibi freschi.

Koselig hotell med fin beliggenhet på Murano. Kort avstand fra fergene til Venezia. Overraskende stille på kveldene med nesten folketomme gater og bare en åpen resturang.

Inget fel på hotellet , men inget "extra". Små men renliga rum med dåliga utrymmen för uppackning. Frukosten var inte heller något att hurra för. Trots min kritik vill jag ge det en 3:a., ett standardhotell. Vad som oroade mig var när vi skulle dit. Enligt biljettförsäjaren stänger ALLT kl 18,00, så vad skulle vi väl göra där? Hon hade rätt, men det finns mycket att se i Murano. Till de som liksom vi står ut med en ca 40 min båtresa in till Venedig rekommenderar det. Fast jag själv söker nog ett hotell närmare Venedig nästa gång och helt säkert, det blir en nästa gång

Simple hotel, with good, clean rooms and not much in the way of amenities. Well worth it's three stars. The included breakfast was extremely basic, but the coffee was good. You have to take a boat to get into main Venice, and the boat back after 18 is a bit roundabout. But a very good bargai, all considered.

excellente impression pour notre second séjour à cet hôtel, aux chambres agréables, au service à la fois discret et irréprochable - à notre départ, nous avons pu imprimer notre carte d'embarquement gracieusement via le service internet normalement payant...

Als je niet direct in de hectiek van Venetië terecht wilt komen en ook enige rust zoekt voor een paar dagen is dit hotel op het eiland Murano goed aan te bevelen. Let op; de keuze van restaurants is zeer beperkt en na 22.00 uur is het moeilijk om nog ergens iets te eten of te drinken te krijgen. De service van het hotel is ok, het ontbijt op z'n italiaans beperkt gemakszuchtig met nietszeggende broodjes en veel zoetwaren. De bedden lagen goed en de airco werkte (is wel belangrijk bij warme dagen).

Nicht sonderlich empfehlenswert. Sehr hellhörige Zimmer, man hört alle angrenzenden Nachbarzimmer bei jeglichen Aktivitäten. Sehr sehr schlechtes Frühstück, mit eingebackten Zwieback und eingepackten schlechten Croissants.Dachbodenzimmer wo man eine Gr. XS und unter 1.70 , sein oder tragen muss, damit man irgendwo durch kommt.

L'hotel è carino e ad un passo dal vaporetto. La zona circostante è silenziosissima. Il servizio è ridotto all'essenziale ma efficente. La colazione è l'unica pecca perchè proprio misera. La stanza e il bagno erano molto puliti. Peccato che nel totale silenzio esterno sia stato decisamente avvertibile il rumore delle pompe dell'impianto di riscaldamento poggiate sopra il solaio della nostra stanza. Il rapporto qualità prezzo rimane comunque ottimo e la cortesia del personale indiscutibile. Consigilato.

Après avoir visité toute la journée Venise et s'être enivré d'architecture et aussi de foule touristique. Qu'il est bon de séjourné sur une île où les enfants vont à l'école où les habitants vivent à "leur" rythme. Cependant l' isolation acoustique entre notre chambre du premier étage et celle de l'étage au dessus ne permet pas de préserver l'intimité d'un couple amoureux. Des travaux d'insonorisation à prévoir. Sinon le service et l'accueil sont parfait.

Hotel agréable, calme absolu loin de l'effervescence de la place St. Marc. Le petit déjeuner est trop sommaire.

The hotel was clean and confortable, eventhough the room in top part of the building has windows only in the ceiling and it is a bit dark. The breakfast was a bit poor but acceptable. The personel is kind and available. The hotel is located in a quiet environment, far away from the chaotic venice, but still the connection to the city center is very good. You may enjoy nice dinner at competitive prices in the evening, eventhough not all the restaurants are opened in the evening.
