The hotel was very good in general but breakfast room and bar area very small

This is a very nice property. The staff was willing to help and make us, non Czech speakers, feel very much at home. The room was nicely appointed although there are controls that we could not understand or get to work. The room was hot and we turned down the thermostat as far as we could but no luck, fortunately the windoows opened and we were able to get comfortable more or less. The tram system in Prague is amazing so wee were able to get around from the hotel even though it was across the river from the old town. I could stay here again no problem but think I would look at something more in the thick of things.

We reserved a parking space underneath the Hotel and called twice. Hotels.com called the Mamaison Hotel and confirmed back that all is well. But it wasn't! Very important guests stayed at the Hotel and were just been offered street parking!!! Not good at all, we wouldn't have booked this hotel if we would have known before...

Good rooms, well situated, extremely good service and helpfulness, VERY good breakfast and clean. What more can one say. I've been to several hotels worldwide so I know hotels, and this one was a very pleasent one! RECOMMENDED.

Although the service at and location of the Mamaison Riverside in Prague are good, the rooms are very small and dark and parking is a real issue. There is only street parking, which, quite frankly, is risky. We were lucky to find street parking (which the car rental agency had advised us against), but we checked every morning and afternoon to make sure our rented car was still there. Also, the breakfast is very expensive and not very well done. There is a lovely cafe a few blocks away, Savoy Cafe, where an excellent breakfast can be had at a price lower than the hotel breakfast. The location is good if you like to get away from the worst of the tourist crush and don't mind just a little walking to see the sights.

The hotel was nice and the service was execellent. But the room standard room we stayed at the first night was very small. I was not expecting a hotel in Prague would be compared to the size of hotel in Tokyo. But after I changed to the riverside room it is much more spacious. Overall it is a pleasant hotel except the location is bit inconvenient to the subway but not too far for the train.

Hotel/Room was clean and nice, and bed was very comfortable. We love walking, so the distance to downtown Prague did not bother us at all (approx. 15min). Staff very accommodating. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I found the hotel very comfortable. Only one thing - there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Still I found coffee to go a few streets back from the hotel.

Hotel was very well appointed & staff was very friendly & very helpful! Provided us with a lot of helpful & excellent recommendations for eating & sight seeing. Also provided our family of six with multiple umbrellas for a rainy day. Great location - 15 min walk to Charles Bridge & all the sites to see nearby.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are beautiful, the bathroom was excellent. It just isn't very convenient to Charles Bridge or the other "tourist" locations.

Fantastic staff; helpful, courteous and friendly from the 1st minute. Beautiful accomadations-old style Prague with modern amenities. The riverfront location was charming with a quick walk to "Old Town" or the St. Charles bridge. Many restaurants were just a short walk away. We absolutely loved our stay here! We would stay here again at twice the price without blinking an eye.

My wife was in love with this hotel, the staff was excellent and the hotel was 10 minutes walking from the city center. I highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Mamaison Riverside Prague between 10 and 14 April. Nice, clean, quiet hotel (great secondary glazing, hardly any traffic noise), discreet service, nice location - just across river from main sights but also very close to Andel, a real district of Prague with working people, nice shops and restaurants and no tourists. Two issues - we had requested a high room but we were on 1st floor, no chance of a move. Main thing though was that the hotel was generally cold, including in the room - turning up heating system made no difference, just blew more cold air. On the plus side, when I did raise the issue of feeling cold, the hotel staff provided me with an extra lovely clean duvet, and let us borrow bathrobes with no charge - so we did very much appreciate this. Great hotel otherwise and we would likely go back - just put the radiators on occasionally?

This hotel was fantastic. Great price. Location was a little further away than we thought but overall clean, great bedroom, bathroom and very comfy bed. I'd go back again

Hotel is only 20 mins walk to the centre of Prague 1. Tram makes it 10 mins. The view of the Vltava river from our room was fantastic. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff couldnt do more for us ie. Booked taxis, booked concerts and football tickets for us and answered all of our questions. They told us the best places to eat etc. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was within easy walking distance of all of the sights we wanted to see. We had a great time in Prague and I credit this hotel with a great part of it!

This is a gracious, quiet hotel across the River from the heart of Prague. It is close to Grocery shopping (TESCO) and the rooms are really elegant, clean, modern and comfortable- we had a superior room and the Bathroom was very elegant. Several Rooms have river Views and the staff were very nice! It is close to the Jiraskuv Most - that puts it about 15 minutes from the Karlov most on the opposite side of the River. Great Value for money!!

The Hotel was lovely, very clean , helpful staff, and large bedrooms we didn't eat there as the breakfast was pricey but there were plenty of places to eat a short walk away. The hotel is situated at the side of the river and in a good spot very quiet and yet close enough to walk into town. We enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to use this chain of Hotel again. Excellent

This hotel is a little out of the city centre but is actually well placed for the main sights. A short walk will take you to tram stops that will take you into the centre, north-west to the national gallery or north to the castle/palace/loretto. From the airport you can get the 100 bus to the Metro B line and then the metro to Andel which is about a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a lovely location by the river and gives wonderful views into the city. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very helpful and knowledgable about the local tram routes etc. The rooms were to a very high standard and were everything we needed. I've alreayd recommended the hotel to my family!

Staying at the Mamaison Riverside was a sincere pleasure. The rooms were modern, clean, and contained welcome amenities for an extended stay like a mini-bar and safe. The hotel is not in the heart of the tourist areas, which made it pleasantly quiet. It's located directly across the river from Frank Gehry's Dancing House, and our room had a spectacular view of the National Theatre building. A 15 to 20 minute walk along the river took us to either Prague Castle or the Old Town, and allowed us to take in some out of the way sights along the way. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who enjoys exploring foreign cities on foot, and wants a quiet, comfortable place to regroup at the end of the day. A few random observations: * While there are a number of grocery stores in the area (including Tesco), we could not find any that were open after 10pm. If you intend to bring groceries back to your room, make sure you get them early. * Our room included LOTS of available electrical outlets. However, they were all recessed, which meant that the holes were deeper than the prongs on our travel adapter could reach. Make sure that you bring an adapter that will work with a deep socket. * Wi-fi Internet access is available for free, but only in the lobby and bar area. The Wi-fi signal did not extend as far as our room. * The hotel will arrange for cars to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. It's definitely worth it.

The room and service at the MaMaison Riverside were excellent. Staff was English speaking and very helpful, especially when it came to parking the car. But there are limited spaces for parking outside. My room had a nice view of the river and town. The hotel is a distance (20+ minutes walking, or 10 min walk to public transportation) from most major Prague attractions, which is its only drawback, particularly if attending evening concerts events.

Nice and clean. People friendly, I felt management was a little snooty. Good location. Breakfast was expensive for what you got, but nothing else close by for breakfast.

We just returned from a trip to Prague and stayed at MaMaison Riverside. Hotel was absolutely beautiful, really reasonable for a Europeon hotel and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Each suggestion they gave was worthwhile. Prague is the most beautiful city we've been to and the hotel made it all the better.

Charming hotel on the river w/ very friendly, helpful staff. Delightful rooms w/ great river views and modern, large bathrooms. Very competitive rates. It's a 20 min walk to the VERY touristy Charles Bridge area, which we found a positive. 5 min walk to two (user-friendly) tram options. Would stay here again!

View of the river from our room. Great design in hotel. Room very plush. A little far from Castle & Charles Bridge. Next visit may stay closer to Old Town, Prague. But this was nice as we like to walk. Tram is also nearby.

The staff were immensely friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and had a wonderful view, excellent decor and very confortable bed. We ordered room service, and it was absolutely excellent, very generous portions, and delicious. I can't think of a single negative point about this hotel- stay there! If you like your viiews, its worth the extra $15 or so to get a riverside view- we could see the dancing house from our window!

We stayed in the Riverside Hotel for 3 nights whilst on a short break in Prague. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very spacious and comfortable. My only two (very minor) gripes were that we were in a room with an adjoining room, connected by a locked door, which were not well soundproofed - there were some very loud guests in the room next door for one night of our stay! The other is the lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the room - just anohter was to make money from room service!

Fantastic location, great service and value. Only problem was no tea and coffee making facilities.

Mycket trevlig personal som hjälpte till att beställa taxi samt att boka bra guidningsturer. Högsta betyg till personalen men trist att inte få frukost. GOOD STAFING BUT NO BREAKFAST. Men det gör inte så mycket då Savoy ligger 5 minuters gångväg därifrån med 5st olika fantastiska frukostmenyer till bra pris.

Smukt hotel. Dygtigt og meget serviceminded personale. Flotte værelser med majestætisk islæt.(på trods af at vi havde et af de billigste værelser) God morgenmad. Smukt udsigt over floden. 15 min. gågang til midtby- en smuk tur lang vandet. Det bedste hotel jeg har boet på, de 12 gange jeg har boet i Prag.

Et hyggelig hotell med grei beliggenhet. Intim og koselig restaurant/bar. Høy kvalitet på rommene og service.

Anbefales ikke. Bildene på nettet ga et falsk inntrykk av romstandard og beliggenhet. Pent og rent, hyggelig og profesjonell betjening, men ellers ikke 5-stjerners standard. Superior rom hadde stor og god seng, men var trangt, med bare en (ukomfortabel) stol. Liten balkong, utsikt til bakgård. Ingen fellesrom hadde utsikt til elva ("riverside"??) Dårlig at ikke frokost er inkludert i prisen.

En nydelig hotell i en gammel klassisk stil. Personalet var veldig service minded hele tiden. De hilste hver gang vi kom og gikk. Du ble virkelig "sett". De var hjelpsomme, høfflige og flinke og stod virkelig på pinne for gjestene sine. Eneste minuset, var en veldig dyr frokost. Vi bestilte ikke frokost på forhånd, men valgte allikevel og spise frokost på hotellet. Frokost to personer 3 dager- kom på en ca 800-900 kr. Mulig det hadde vært billigere hvis man hadde bestilt det sammen med oppholdet. Men god mat, frisk frukt, nystekt brød, rundstykker, små kaker, egg, bacon og variert pålegg. Hotellet hadde rengjøring hver dag- veldig bra! Hotellet hadde også sertifisert seg til plass i Michelin guiden tre år på rad. Kaffemaskin på rommet var det også,samt te. Rommet var stort og hadde god plass. Ca 30 min gange fra gamlebyen. Kan varmt anbefales! Kommer gjerne hit igjen ved en senere anledning!

Everthing was wonderful about this hotel.

Vi bodde på dette hotellet i to netter, og det har utrolig gode og myke senger. Da vi ankom hotellet satt vi oss ned med resepsjonisten og han gav oss uoppfordret anbefalinger på hvor det var god mat, og hvor nærmeste matbutikk osv. var. Det eneste som trekker ned er at når vi skulle bestille strykejern og ekstra håndklær måtte vi ringe to ganger før de kom med det. Også minus for at det ikke er lås på baderomsdøra. Ellers anbefaler vi dette hotellet, skal vi til Praha igjen så blir nok dette hotellet vi velger!

Hotellet er fint og ligger bra til rett ved elven. 15-20 min å gå inn til selve sentrum av gamlebyen. Har ellers alt man trenger innenfor et par minutters gange.

Hotellstaben er meget service innstilt, god mat og komfortabelt rom med flott utsikt over elven.
