We stayed at this hotel for four nights and was very pleased. Our room was nice and comfortable. There was a hot pot, tea bags and instant coffee provided in our room. The shower was magnificent on a tired body. The bathroom door was so heavy that is was not easy to let the steam out after a shower. This is my only complaint. The hotel shuttle back and forth to the airport was every thirty minutes and free. The train station is inside the airport. The train to Amsterdam was every 15 minutes and took 15 minutes of travel time. The free walking tour in Dam Square was great! The train to the Hague was every half hour and took thirty minutes.

High quality free wifi, nice breakfast and overall a lot of value at a good price

This hotel worked out perfectly for what we wanted. The first day we rode the bus directly from the airport to Keukenhof Gardens. The airport had cheap train tickets to downtown Amsterdam and back. The best part was the free shuttle bus and close to McDonald's for food.

Hotel was comfortable, convenient, VERY QUIET, relatively clean (not perfect, but close) and very affordable. I would recommend it very much.

clean and efficient airport shuttle.

No real problems, boring location, but free shuttle to/from airport was a useful add on. The rooms have no information on the routine number to dial for reception. The only number is the emergency Fire Alarm number on the fire instruction sheet which I was unwilling to use for just a routine enquiry.It turns out it is the same number. Most hotels have the number on or near the phone, or in the information folder, but it was No Where to be found . !

I strongly recomend this hotel, is close to the airport, they pick u up just on time and the rooms are very clean.

You get what you pay for. Next time I'll pay a little more. It was close, and convenient but pretty run down and smelt like the inside of locker.

Big advantage is the shuttle that picks you up to the airport

This was our last stop on a long European adventure. It was convenient to the airport. The halls to our room were a bit creepy, with glass doors and flickering automatic lights- but overall everything was fine.

This is a nice hotel with the convenience of being near the airport. The only problem was to get the room cool enough without opening the window (noise and light issues) They don't turn on the A/C until outside temps are over 18 degrees. Seriously? You can turn off the heat, but where is the air circulation. Every employee I encountered was there to please, and the obviously work very hard with a smile on their faces. There is an excellent restaurant (had supper there) and the breakfast is complete with a wide variety of foods--especially for one who does not 'do' sugar. I was very satisfied with this Best Western. A+ in my book.

If you have a flight and need a place to sleep near the airport with a free shuttle, then this place will do. But so will many others, including one within walking distance of the airport (no waiting for the shuttle). The rooms here are clean and simple, the staff appropriately polite. The shuttle comes every 30 minutes and will likely be completely full. The ride takes about ten minutes. I won't be staying here again, but if you require no more than the above, you'll have what you need.

House keeping needs a little more attention as toileteries were not kept and we had to remind on check in. No sufficient storage inside the rooms. Not a single closed storage. Suite room had a mini kitchen but no utensils. However the staff were very friedly and cooperative.

This property is great if you have a lay-over or have to catch an early morning flight. Reception was excellent, and the rooms are adequate. We found the room we had could have been cleaned better. There are not many choices for eating out but you can eat on premise.

cannot give full score for service, there were 7 of us at the bar, it was difficult to get the attention of the server every time we wanted to order.

The room had two very small bed. The location seemed to be in an industrial area. Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The public bus stop was only a ten minute walk away. Other than the bed problem, this hotel was satisfactory.

close to airport with courtesy transportation every half hour. buffet breakfest way to much money but a McDonalds is in the parking lot.

We stayed two nights. The first night we noticed they did not provide any soap, only shampoo. I called down to the front desk and they told me they don't have any soap! I've never been to a hotel that didn't provide some soap to wash your hands after visiting the bathroom. However, that next night, we did have soap in our room. Unfortunately, they took our bath towels and did not replace them, so we dried from our showers with hand towels. When I informed the front desk again, all they could say was, "sorry". Also, they advertise "free internet", which is true, but every port is blocked, so if you're just browsing, its fine, but if you actually want to do something productive, forget about it! Front desk response was ," Yes, we know. Its for security reasons."

Very newish feeling - modern facility with friendly staff. Shuttle bus to and from airport was running often enough to not be a hassle. Bathroom amenities did not include a bar of soap or wash cloths.

...The only negative is the shuttle service. The hotel's shuttles are small, and when I got to Schiphol, the one to the hotel was full and I had to wait for the next one. They go every 30 minutes. Also, you have to reserve a place on the shuttle to go to the airport the next morning. I'm not used to that and would have not done so if I had not heard the person checking into the hotel ahead of me reserving a place for herself. No further issues, nice staff, clean comfortable room, and the hotel is right next to a McDonalds should you be afflicted with late night munchies....

The free shuttle service taking us to airport where we could take a train into the city center made our 1 night stay very nice. Woman at front desk who found us a clean room for early check in was wonderful as were the rest of the women. I'm not so sure about the man at the desk because he seemed to make no effort to find a room for the next person trying to check in early . Free wi-fi was super fast. That was a nice change for us coming from India.

The price is very reasonable and having a free shuttle to and from the airport makes it even better!

Good location very near airport but no noise from planes. Efficient and frequent shuttle service. Reasonably priced food available till late . Adequate breakfast. Have stayed here before and probably will again.

I had read some reviews about this property that I may have shied away from, but due to my short night, I needed something close. I was so pleasantly surprised NONE of what was said previously (different site) was the case. The driver showed up promptly, was super courteous and smiled the entire time, and I was checked in within 5 minutes. The hotel offers a breakfast which I did not pay for, but it smelled great! The restaurant was open til 11 p.m. and had a room service card in the room, but no prices listed. The lobby was comfortable, with chic furnishings and the people sitting around having drinks looked like they were enjoying themselves. The bed was small compared to our American standards, but it was comfy. The only reason I gave a 4 for room comfort was because the room was too warm. Even with it being cold outside, I had to open the window and lower the thermostat. Other than that, I will stay here again. In the morning there were shuttles running to the airport enough to accommodate all the guests with early flights. Not just one every 30 minutes like advertised. They were truly friendly. Oh, and they let me borrow a converter for my phone charger for just EU 10 deposit. Return the converter, get your eu 10 back. Simple! I had no involvement with the outside neighborhood, so cannot comment on that. Good hotel, good price, good location for airport convenience.

This hotel is maybe a two star. The rooms are old and dirty. The beds small and uncomfortable, and the shower/bathroom area was also dirty and old. It was a cheap stay, and they offered a free shuttle, but I wouldn't stay here again especially with a bunch of better options near by.

While this hotel fit the bill for a reasonable price at an airport hotel on a long night layover between AMS and North America for my family, the service of the shuttle was awful. Despite having booked the shuttle in advance for airport pickup, it arrived 30 minutes late. In the eaving before leaving I went to the front desk to confirm seats for 8:00 in the morning and arrived at 7:45 with my family. At 8:00 a small van arrived with seating for only half of those present and waiting. We were told that despite our reservation it was full and would return in another 30 minutes. After considerable pressing and obvious dissasisfatction a second van was brought around about ten minutes later, but the snickering from the staff was obvious. Why take a reservation list at all if it will not be honored? When I asked the desk cklerk she shrugged it off and said 8:00 is always overbooked. Had she mentioned that at check in I wold have arranged a different service. Disapointing, but then I guess I chose the low end option and you do get what you pay for...

This Best Western must have been bought from Bastion recently as the mugs, towels, etc were all labelled Bastion. It's a basic overnighter, not as nice as the Park Plaza Schipol but usually a bit cheaper as a result. The types who frequent this hotel are less desireable so I wouldn't advise a longer stay than just a stopover.

Good quality room. The shuttle is small and fills up quickly so people were waiting for 1 or two shuttles before being able to get on one. If you don't mind that inconvenience, especially when it's cold, than this hotel is for you.

Room was freezing cold, heating was inadequite but was changed on request. Staff was friendly but not really helpful Not close to restaurants - only McDonalds next door . Efficient free shuttle service to airport every 30min. I would give them 2.5 out of 5

Overall the whole experience was good!

Good location, convenient shuttle service to and from airport.Good food, good service, nice people.

airport courtesy van was prompt and easily accessible both coming and going...room had everything you'd need for a stay prior to an early-morning flight...had trouble with bathroom light, called down and someone came to fix within 10 minutes...appreciated the prompt service. no problems...price is right.

Overall, it was a decent place to stay. The vending machines are sparse, and everything costs at least 2Euros (soda and water), so make sure you bring stuff from Shiphol if you think you'll need some drinks/snacks at the hotel. I ate dinner and had a few beers at the bar (very good food), but even though I paid in cash and left a 20% tip, they tried to charge me again when I checked out the next day so I recommend you get a receipt if you pay at the bar (they insist that you give your room number before serving you) or just wait and pay when you check out. I did not opt for the breakfast since 16 Euros seems too expensive to me for breakfast foods. The shuttle was pretty convenient to use to get to and from the train station.

Stayed only one night with the family before catching an early flight. The hotel is near Schiphol airport. The suite room was fine, the staff was very friendly and there is an excellent shuttle service to and from the airport. A big plus: finally a hotel with free wifi in the room. There is also a small pool, a sauna, a fitness room and a Mc Donalds next door. A great place for business travelers but also recommended if you have to fly the next day and want to avoid the stress of busy traffic.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good. The only problem was the heater in my room did not put out very much heat and the room was cold. I had to keep my jacket on. I reported it to the front desk but it was early evening and too late to get it fixed that day. They offered me extra blankets. Other than that I was very pleased with the hotel and the shuttle to the airport was timely and free. I will be back on my way home in February.

We stay for two night before our return flight . It provide the perfect location and the free shuttle running until midnight was perfect for last minute sight seeing

For just a overnight stay, I have no complaints. The price was perfect for the kind of room we needed. I would recommend

Two words, BOOK IT! This hotel is a very nice hotel. The rooms we were assigned were very spacious, as well as the bathroom, with two sinks. I think the bathroom floors were heated. I like how the hotel has each floor, you must have your card to enter on the floor. We felt very safe at this hotel. Arriving in Amsterdam was great for us, we did not have to wait on the 'Free' airport shuttle service. It was there waiting. Our drivers were friendly and punctual. This hotel is about 10-15 minutes from the city; however, with the ample user friendly transportation modes, it's not a problem. The is a local tax that you have to pay, but it is a small fee around $14 USD. You have to read the entire page as you are booking the hotel and it will tell you about this fee. Overall, when I return to Amsterdam this hotel will be the one I book again. Thanks to all the works at Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel you all did a Wonderful Job!
