Well pleased with our last minute booking at this hotel. Reception staff friendly and efficient. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities provided, as was a fridge and personal safe in the room. Fab power shower with toiletries provided. Not the best location if you do not have a car though. The hotel itself was well maintained throughout.. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again.

Really good hotel, superior room was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the 15 minute high speed bendy bus ride from town. If you fancy a late night snack i'd visit a supermarket before you head back as late night snacking is almost impossible as there is literally nothing open late nearby. Would happily stay again, felt very safe as it's right next door to a main police station.

This hotel is NOT in downtown Amsterdam. But it was very easy access via bus route. We took a cab from the Airport that cost us $80 Euros. We took the bus into town and back to the airport at the end of our trip for $2.70 Euros each way. Definetely a savings. The hotel is very quaint not a luxury hotel by any means, but very clean and comfortable.

Situated in the North part of Amsterdam which is very lacking in tourist facilities. There is a all you can eat Japanese restaurant adjacent to the Hotel which we found very pricey. 2 minute walk to #32 and 33 bus lines. Do not cab as it costs almost 8 euros just to hire and total of 20 euros for a 10 minute ride from train station to the Hotel.. The bus costs 2.6 Euros each way into the City. The hotel is a bargain at the prices charged. Transportation costs in Amsterdam are far more expensive than in either Paris or London where 1.2 Euros will take you anywhere in these cities..

Reviews were spot-on...we drove to Amsterdam, so the free parking and accessibility was a primary factor for staying. There is a bus stop a short walk from the hotel leading straight to central station-very convenient and easy to navigate. The hotel itself reminded me of a refurbished dormitory. The room was basic and simple; if you are looking for a place to sleep and shower with ease of transportation outside of the city, it definitely fits the bill.

The hotel was clean and only about a 10min bus ride from the city center. I fould most of the staff ok but on our first night I asked the young lady at the front what number bus to catch to the cit center, she told me that "she could tell me but I can just go to the bus stop to find out for myself" I then asked what number night bus I can get back and she told me "she could also tell me that but I could go to the bus stop to find out myself" so I walked off to the bus stop to find none of it was written in english!! I was very upset that she could not help me out, she could of least gave me a map but I got no help from her at all.

The hotel was pretty easy to find - we had arrived in Amsterdam at the train station, so we just bought a pass for public transportation (quite reasonably priced for a 48 hour pass, we thought, too!). In the daytime, if you take bus 32 (at night, there's a different bus to catch, I forget the number, but the signs make it pretty easy to find) it'll get you within about a 2-3 minute walk of the hotel. Also bus 33 will get you near the hotel as well if you should miss 32. While the hotel isn't anything really fancy, it fit the bill. The location was close enough to Amsterdam to get around with minimal effort, yet far enough away from downtown that it wasn't too expensive. It's also pretty quiet in the evenings. Hotel staff was friendly and our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. While a hotel in more downtown Amsterdam might be more swanky, we didn't really want to pay the extra money for just a place to sleep when we were more interested in the actual city.

This hotel is mostly about one thing, location. A 8-10 min comfortable and reasonably cheap bus ride to the central station in Amsterdam made it ideal for us. Especially as the bus stop was no more than a 100m from the hotel. I stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights and it was exactly what we wanted. For a way cheaper price than hotels in the city we could really enjoy our stay. The rooms were nice and the staff friendly and helpful. We felt safe in neighborhood but also on the bus, day and night. As we traveled with a car, this was a perfect hotel for us, free parking, right next to the police station! I strongly recommend this hotel.

Well was excellent. For transportation if is in Taxi it cost +- 24euro from the Central Station, if you take a bus #32 or 33 that is easy is for only 2.20Euro and with the purchase you can use the Metro for one hour more. Excellent beautiful and the staff very helpful. Why pay more for another in the City? Very recommendable!!!!!

Hotel was overall good, other than the beds being so small and not enough ventilation in the room.

Bad location for conferences,and fairs: Situated on the other side of the city from the RAI Convention Center Safe location?: As you enter the hotel you see a security camera with a buzz in button so you can enter the hotel. Not a good sign. At night they have only one person working for the entire hotel that can't leave the front desk because every now and then police passes by to make sure everything is ok and if they don't see him in the front desk, the police has order to enter just in case they have a robbery in progress Terrible service: I arrive to my "deluxe" room late at night after a long day at the RAI Convention Center and business dinner with some colleagues, I find out I have no towels in the bath room, I called front desk and was told that if I wanted towels, I had to go pick them up myself. When I arrive to the front desk the manager (and only person working at the hotel) he didn't have the towels ready, then he went to a back room, took his time and brought me the towels. I asked for a complaint form and he told me he couldn't provide me one since it was after 12pm and their computer was shut down. I asked the manager if he thinks that a hotel with this kind of service deserves a 3 stars rating, he got a little combative and started finger pointing. Later he calmed down and apologize telling me that I am not the only customer that complaint about not having towels and that he has a problem with the maids and that instead of going home at 6am he will have to wait until 8am so he can talk with them about this problem. No concierge service: First night some friends of my party arrived hungry and the hotel kitchen was already closed, we asked the reception desk for a pizza delivery phone number so we could order some. The only person at the reception desk was not able to produce any phone. My friends had to go bed without eating dinner. Notes: The "deluxe" rooms are similar to Motel 8 rooms. No AC units No climate control No king size beds Individu

I booked this hotel as it was much cheaper than those in downtown Amsterdam, with similar amenities. I am glad that I saved the money - this hotel was a two minute walk to a bus stop that had buses running every 6 minutes to the central station. Although the neighborhood directly around the hotel had very little going on, it was kind of a nice change from the fast paced life in central Amsterdam.

ecellent stay. nice and friendly, just a bit far from the center of Amsterdam. If you moved the hotel over, I wouldn't stay any where else!! overall great stay!!!!

My friend a I stopped in this hotel only for one night on are way from UK to poland. We got there early but without a problem there was a room waiting for us. Free parking and police station across the road - two things we were looking for perfeclty provided. 10 - 15 minute walk to main canal (no need to take u bus) and free ferry across. I would hihgly recommend this hotel for anyone going to amsterdam for either bussines or leisure reasons

The Bastion is not quite in the thick of things, but it is served by a bus that runs most of the night. Our room overlooked the police station and Salvation Army basketball court, and that sort of gives the picture of the hotel in general. But wait--that doesn't mean it's bad! The Bastion was clean and the city bus ran often (about 15 minutes to the train station and Central District). It's worth considering..for the right trip. Romantic getaway? No. Visit to Amsterdam just for fun? Sure... I didn't appreciate being told we needed to pay a city tax on checkin--it was about $10. (Seems to violate the Hotels.com pre-paid plan, but...there were no other surprises.) The breakfast was included and was average. For a trip to explore Amsterdam where you don't mind a little bus ride and you don't mind staying in a place that looks like a Motel 6--this is for you. It was clean, quiet, and convenient.

Simple,purement pratique,sans fioritures. Vu les étoiles et le prix, je m'attendais à mieux, mais la surprise de découvrir un frigo a relevé notre déception face aux lits jumeaux (nous avions demandé un seul grand lit mais bon.... pas possible. Soit) En revanche, même pas TV5 monde à la télé!!! Un peu décevant de ce point de vue là... même si nous n'allions pas là bas pour la télé ;)

At dette hotel har 4 * må ganske enkelt være en fejl ! Dårlig beliggenhed hvis man skal besøge Amsterdam Centrum, dårligt personale, dårlig morgenmad, dårlig mad i resturant ! Alt for dyrt at bo der i forhold til hvad man får ! Jeg / vi kommer der ALDRIG igen, det var 4 forfærtelige dage slev om Amsterdam er en skøn by !

L'albergo è semplicissimo, ma la posizione per chi va a visitare amsterdam in auto è perfetta. Il parcheggio è gratuito e fuori l'albergo c'è un ottimo ristorante giapponese

Un bon rapport situation/prix. Un petit moins sur la chambre faite un peu "à l'arrache" , lits ni faits ni à faire, ça marque un peu après une longue journée de tourisme

Bom hotel, mas caro, afastado do centro.

Et godt standard hotel ca 5 km fra centrum af Amsterdam nemt at komme til via Motorvej A10 vi havde et 6 dags ophold med henblik på at besøge Amsterdams kulturelle miljø, det var nemt via bus 32/33 som kørte lige uden for hotellet. trådløst og gratis internet et plus. morgenmad burde dog være en del af værelses prisen. Et anbefalelses værdigt hotel hvis man skulle ønske et storby ophold.

Når de nu kalder sig et 3-stjernet hotel, så holder det simpelthen ikke. Selve hotellet er for dårligt. Værelserne er beskidte (beskidt på væggene, gammel håndsæbe i bruskabinen fra de tidligere gæster, LOPPER på værelset. Havde det været et 1-stjernet hostel, havde det været okay for så havde man ikke forventet andet. Men et 3-stjernet, er det ihvertfald ikke. Vi valgte det her hotel netop fordi vi ikke gad hostels osv, og så ender vi alligevel med at få et hostel. Har været på hostels der var pænere end det her hotel. Som skrevet tidligere var der lopper på værelset. Vi ku se dem om aftenen. Vi blev begge bidt flere gange. Nabolaget er ikke et jeg har lyst til at gå i efter mørkets frembrud. Maden på hotellet er vanvittig dyr, og noget af det dårligste jeg længe har prøvet. Hvis man ikke er sart, godt vil bo 4 km fra centrum, og være afhængig af bus for at komme hjem, kan abstrahere fra lopper, beskidte værelser osv så er det her hotel udemærket. Bare ikke til prisen. Der findes hostels i centrum af amsterdam, der er pænere og billigere.

Easy to reach from the central station, bus 33 or 32. The room was clean. I was absolutely satisfied. It was away from the centre so it was calm. Close there is a park and a small river if you still feel you can have some extra walk:}.

I can recommend this hotel easily. This is not far from the central station, it takes less than 10 minutes by bus. Rooms are clean. Staff are supportive and kind. I will stay in this hotel again when flying to Amsterdam again.

Hotellet var fint til prisen - belligenhed var dog længere væk fra centrum end mit håb - hvorfor jeg en anden gang vil se efter et mere centralt hotel.

petit déjeuner un peu cher et rideau de chambre non occultant, sinon confortable, propre, silencieux et relativement moins cher que beaucoup d'autres hôtels du même standing.

荷兰阿姆斯特丹的酒店相对而言比较贵这是大家都知道的，所以如果你想稍微节约点预算，但是也还方便旅游，这家酒店是不错的选择。 如同酒店的描述，在中央火车站坐33或32路公车就可以很方便的到大酒店，15分钟左右的乘车时间。33、32公车还是很多的，而且在中央火车站也能很方便的换车去市中心的各个景点，或者乘坐火车去阿姆斯特丹周边城市。 酒店的服务不错，人员很随和。酒店的硬件设施也是ok的，相当于国内的三星水平吧。

Hôel très propre, situé à 10mn du centre en bus( à 1mn,1,30€ en bus pour 5 stations).Chambre très correcte, insonorisée,Parking gratuit face à l'hotel.

Frühstück gibt es nur bis 9.00 Uhr Wenn mann um 9.45 kommt gibt es einige Angebot am Buffet nicht mehr. Die Eier waren innen leicht grün Es gab Eierlöffel und Tassen nur auf Nachftrage
