Courtyard by Marriott San Juan Isla Verde - كارولينا

Our stay at the Courtyard made our vacation unforgettable. We found the hotel to be very clean and the personnel super friendly. The hotel is situated close to many restaurants and there is a Walgreens nearby as well as supermarkets. The food at the Marriott is pretty expensive so it's a good thing to have something close by where you can eat affordably.. The only thing is that you would need a car unless you don't mind walking. I would most definately stay at the Courtyard again and would recommend it to family and friends.

I was extremely pleased with the pure kindness and consideration of staff. I don't believe I ever looked at someone who was not smiling back at me. Saturday and Sunday buffet is great. Wait staff is some of the best I've experienced. I'm not one to go over the top with this sort of thing, but this place deserves it. I wish i'd have checked out the taxis beforehand. they have vans so if you're group is half dozen with luggage a taxi van is less expensive than local shuttle. taxi to airport for my group of 5 and a toddler plus luggage was $20 plus tip. Taxi to Old San Juan was $25 plus tip.

helpful staff, close to restaurants, great beach and pool

I found it very easy to get to the restaurants were good and very friendly if a bit expensive.

Awesome and very accommodating. I had the best burger on the beach and I don't usually eat burgers. My online negative would be, I wish the Marriott was more on the strip with the other hotels but still not a bad walk. I would stay again :)

The inside of the hotel looks somewhat dated. Everything else was great. Location, service and friendiness of staff . The entertainment offered at this hotel on the weekends is the best. Better than what is offered by other properties in Isla Verde which are considered to be 5 start hotels.

I enjoyed a lot and the service was excellent

Perfect getaway! We had a blast, from the pool to the casino!

Had internet problems that were fixed after 2 calls to complain. TV went out. It has a big casino and I personally do not like walking thru them to get to my car. Good parking and good gym. Very nice beach.

We enjoyed it all.

Our stay was excellent in terms of great personnel service and hotel services, excellent services to enjoy the beach and the swimming pool, excellent musical groups to dance. I only express one recommendation: Planning some activities for kids.

Great! I was there for a wedding with 125 plus quests in attendance. Everything was perfect. With less than an hours notice the Assistant General Manager obtained for us a professional videographer for the wedding. Amazing! I mistakenly thought of Courtyard Marriott as being more of a plain and simple business hotel. This place was much more of a full destination resort. Of course, its location on the ocean was perfect as was the weather.

We have stayed here before and will stay again. Great hotel and good location.rooms could use a little bit of a makeover but not so bad. We will stay again for sure.

We took the "red eye" in from NYC and didn't expect to be able to check - in so early. We not only were able to check-in but we're given a room immediately at 4am. What awesome service! We went for a much needed time of rest and relaxation and we found it here at the Courtyard! Thank you all.

Very nice and friendly stuff, great location on the beach. The only drawback is noisy surrounding. In addition to the airplane noise there were some construction works going on during our stay.

Every single staff member was friendly and polite. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I was always greeted and asked if I needed any help. I would definetely come back to this hotel. I want to congratulate everyone for making my stay comfortable and pleasant.

Service, location and amenities of the facility are great. Bathroom cleanliness is average. The facility and surroundings are great and well maintained. This is the second time I have stayed in the hotel and probably will again.

It was not too terrible..

From check-in t check-out we had a great expirience. We stayed for 8 days, so when we got in they set us up with a suite on the 12 floor with an amazing view. Our service lady was the best, she stopped by and ask if there was anything we needed or wanted for the rest of out stayed. Management, bars and restaurants servers, even towels and beach chairs boys when out of their ways to help and make us feels like Queen and King. By the 3rd day, must called my husband by his last name and converse with us very often. Our expirience was great, we already booked for the same week on 2014.

The restaurant, La Sirena, was terrible. I ordered a salad. When it came out, they didn't wash the lettuce, and there were clumps of dirt and/or mud in the bottom of the salad, and on the stems. Inedible. My girlfriend was served a spinach salad with wilted, old leaves. We were so disgusted, we left as soon as we notified our server, who had nothing to say. It was shocking. Absolutely the worst dining experience ever. We will never return to this hotel, and recommend against it.

This hotel was in a great location with a wonderful beach. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, there was a huge dip in our bed that wasn't really evident until we got into it and only on one side. My guess is that a previous guest may have either jumped on the bed or been too heavy and broke it. Whatever the reason, I got very little sleep. I did tell the staff the next day about it and they said they would pass it on to housekeeping which was the extent of their response.

This is a great hotel we stayed our first night in San Juan before we set off on our trip around the island. It is extremely close to the airport, but once you are there it does not seem like it. It is on the beach, and the hammocks are great fun! The outdoor bar makes the best mojitos in Puerto Rico, but nearly every other place we visited on the island was out of mint so it was hard to judge. ;) I would definitely stay here again.

The location was very convenient to the airport. Beach was great! Food was good and reasonably priced. Very relaxing stay.

Could be better

Nice hotel, close to airport. Had a nice beach but wasn't able to use it because we only stayed one night. Very nice pool and recreational area. Inside of hotel was dated and some areas not too clean.

I was not happy to have to pay 16,50$ for parking each day. Restaurants where simply not good (none of the 3 that we tried) and very expensive. small bottle of water for 3$ is a rip off. I also had my 6 years old with us and only to use simple stuff at the swimming pool was 10-20$ pr day. Good thing is it is close to a nice aveneue with lot of stores and supermarkets. I dont think I will chose this hotel next time. I find San Juan very expensive city and i would choose a different location for my summer holiday next time.

beautiful beach and pool

we arrived to a bathroom that was vey dirty, hair all over and tub and surround filthy. we called housekeeping and they did a quick clean, which was not enough. fire alarm started making noise at midnight so we ended up changing rooms. took twenty minutes to let us change rooms.

Great. Plan on visit again.

A well-kept, clean hotel near the airport, with a great beach front. Parking and breakfast are not included, and the hotel is not walking distance from Walgreen's or the El San Juan and Intercontinental hotels which are entertainment venues. The hotel does have live music and dancing on weekends, which is well attended.

Situated on a beautiful beach. Very helpful staff. Pity there's not a complimentary bus to the airport.

The service was top notch all the staff are willing to help you for every need. They go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The location is not far from the town of Old San Jaun a short cab ride and you are there. Would stay their any time that I visit.

The customer service was amazing and everyone there from the concierge to the waiters to the front desk were so helpful and cheerful. We got there very early in the day and had lots of luggage and they were more than happy to get us into a room early if there was something available. It was close to the airport but not so close that you were woke by airplanes. Old San Juan is about 15 minutes away. The surrounding neighborhood seemed ok, it was hotels on either side, which makes it seem safe. The cleanliness of the room was lacking in the bathroom and there was a weird "old" smell in the room.

this is my favorite hotel in puerto rico. i always stay here. my only concern is that the food at the restaurant is average. the rest is wonderful
