The noise from the flights was thunderous throughout the day and night given the close proximity between the hotel and the airport.

This is one of the best resort facilities I have ever stayed at...it was inclusive and easy to stay at..the facilities, staff, beach, restaurants were amazing! I went by myself for some R&R but plan to bring my family back for the next visit.

Everyone who works at this hotel deserves a raise! They were all the most friendly, helpful and kind staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. The grounds were well maintained altho a little worn, wish the pool was bigger and gym had a sauna. But these are minor concerns. The adequate food was served by an enthusiastic staff so you forgot its hohum quality. Wish they had more Vegetarian options- rice and beans? But plantains were good We were there for a huge Salsa party so that was exciting. The airplane takeoffs took a little while to get used to but it is convenient to be so close to the airport. Overall a solid B

Pros - Very convenient to the airport and right on the beach so you can enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and the ocean without going far at all. Pool side and beach side service is available. Cons - Salsa music is loud and played right in lobby EVERY night and many locals come in to enjoy the music and dance in the bar setting but there are no walls to contain the music. Casino is small and only hosts low end slots and a couple of tables. Service isn't great and the hotel needs some room renovations. Not many food choices available in the two restaurants. Surrounding area isn't great - a lot of crime and gates everywhere.

If you want to be on the beach this would suffice. Otherwise, pay less for a larger room a block or two away from the beach.

Very nice hotel stay for a long weekend..we were able to walk to visit friends staying at the El San Juan...nice beach with chairs and umbrellas..the young men setting them up were very pleasant...had a nice dinner at Picante..fun crowd and very nice waitress..the bagels and coffee at the lobby bar was a nice treat when you didn't want a big breakfast...all in all we were very pleased with this hotel!

This hotel was perfect for our 4 day stay! We were right on the strip In isla verde... Close to many restaurants and bars! Love that it was beach front! Our other friends who came wish they had stayed here instead of Rio grande which was 30 minutes away

We stayed here after returning from a cruise for one night before we flew out. Hotel is on the beach and has beautiful patio that leads to pool with swim up bar and the sandy beach that stretches in both directions. Hotel has a small casino and a couple restaurants that seem expensive. Its a bit of a walk in the heat to nearby restaurants(about 10-12 minutes) where u can find local food as well as a Dennys and Walgreens. Our room was clean, but not spotless. Nothing too terrible. Overall, I recommend this hotel for its affordability and location on great beach.

This is a lovely hotel. Service at the front desk and the restaurant was efficient and friendly. There is a beautiful beach and beach umbrellas are available with an attendant to set them up. There was no charge by the hotel, just a tip to the attendant. Travelers to San Juan PR should be warned, however. Overall, this is not a tourist-friendly city. High taxes in San Juan and parking fees can easily add $60 - $100 to any hotel room. Expect to pay $15/day just to park a car. Our tax was over $45/day for the room, and it was not an expensive room. The price of 3 8 oz cups of local beer and a small pizza at the hotel was around $34 before the tip. But, there is a lot of history and some great sight-seeing there!

My husband & I had a great time in PR @ this hotel. Salsa, meringue, & dancing Thursday, Friday, Saturday & an orchestra on Sunday. We took public transportation for $.75 each way to Old San Juan (bus stop 1/2 mile from the hotel) instead of paying $22 each way for a taxi. The food was satisfactory. The beach and pool were nice. Pay extra for the ocean view. It's great to wake up & go to sleep with the sound of the ocean or watching the cruise ships come in on Thursday. We thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

LOVE that it is on the beach, beach is beautiful and clean. Small enough hotel that you can go from your room to the beach quickly. Hammocks are a nice touch and are relaxing. Terrific pool area with swim up bar and food. Palm trees provide sufficient shade (there are chairs in the sun too) & ambiance. Relaxing! Also have lounge chairs/sofas you can hang out on. Hot tub and two small kiddie pools in addition to the main pool. (Main pool a little odd, there is a wall separating the shallow part from the deeper part. Maybe this is to ensure the safety of the little ones.) You can walk to Walgreen's and Pueblo to get snacks etc. and there are a couple of restaurants in the area but otherwise hotel is away from the main hotel strip. Fri-Sunday nights there's a salsa band off the lobby with lots of locals dancing up a storm. Yes, it makes the lobby really loud, but we thought it was very festive. Did not hear it in the room on 4th floor. Bring a swimsuit coverup if you are modest for walking thru the lobby on those days. Great wifi signal in room; can use computers & printer in busines area off lobby. Hotel is across the street from the departures runway of the airport. Takeoffs can be loud but are not constant. We got used to it. Concierge available for booking sightseeing trips. Shower in fitness center for after you check out. Clean hotel on a beautiful beach with a great pool area. Happy with stay.

Don't let them put you in room 232! You won't get to use your balcony overlooking the ocean because you are right above the air conditioning units and they are very loud and hot! We asked for another room but they refused, even though we checked in very early in the day. The hotel itself is very nice and clean. Loved the beach location

The hotel has a perfect location on the beach with an outside restaurant close to the beach and a pool grill next to the swimmingpool. Very nice place and good sevice. Beautiful outside area and free beah chairs and towel service. Perfrect hotel for either stop over or relaxing vacation.

Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Patio on the beach for breakfast was great.

Terrific hotel right on a fabulous beach. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient to transportation and good restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Of the many hotels I've visited in Puerto Rico, this is one of the nicest.

I liked this place. I was there over a weekend and they had a salsa band playing all night. Close to restaurants and Piñones where you can get all puertorrican native food. Close to kayak and bike rentals.

Sleep is most important and the air conditioning system was turning on off ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!

Taxing and overcharging readiness, rather than service. Could no send fax to rental car company, since Hotel's fax set up was set up at different tone answering on car rental. Staff could not handle this. Claiming 'busy at the other end', which I prove with my cell in front of him that the fax signal was being picked up by my phone, I'd say lack of knowledge, rather than bad service. Fixtures in bathroom showe were loose, grout on bath floor soiled and looked 'cheap. Poor choice of counter top colors, look like 'dirty' all the time. We upgraded to balcony room, with was ok, actually that was the 'prime enjoyment'. Co-functioning with casino on grounds leave a lot of bad smell, stained carpets and displeasing odors on the bar/restaurant area. I'd say it does not live up to the expectations of Marriot Courtyard standards Thanks

We plan to return to this hotel again. Great location. Right on the beach. Staff were friendly. I really loved all the activities they had for the kids. Overall great time, and the pool and fitness center are top knotch :0)

The hotel was great. It offered a nice relaxing atmosphere. The location directly on the beach was the best!

We stayed 2 nights prior to cruise. Had lovely room overlooking beach. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and were very friendly. Beach was clean. Ate at restaurant. Food was good. Could not have asked for more. We will stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights pre-cruise. The hotel is located right next to the airport and there is a bit of noise but not overnight. The hotel is located right on the beach and is quite beautiful. The prices for food and drink are quite high, but should be expected at a beachfront hotel.

The location to the water is excellent and the staff are very courteous and accomodating. The hotel is a little dated but it is clean and well maintained. The service is very good.

The location was perfect, the staff were friendly, helpful and very skilled and the features of the hotel, eg. business center, fitness center, etc. fit our needs perfectly. We will plan to stay here in the future.

The hotel was fabulous! Very good service as soon as I got out of the cab. The room was in great condition, no funny smells or any signs of bugs. Even the towels were crisp! Great service for dinner too. I had to board my cruise the next morning and they had the transportation waiting as soon as I was in the lobby. I loved my stay here!

Stay there 3 days before my cruise.Had a wonderful stay. everything was very clean. service was good. right on the beach....beautiful!! If you like old school salsa they have bands on thurs, Fri and Sat ......fabulous!! and a great selection of food. We never had to leave the hotel!

My parents stayed at the hotel for a night. They had a minor problem wich they contacted the staff about; the staff was very helpful and took care of the issue and made sure my parents were happy and taken care of. So we would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Rico and needing a hotel to stay close to the airport.

The room, the service and staff, and even the hotel's food were all excellent. Friday through Sunday, there is a fine Latin band that plays to an appreciative clientele who enjoy dancing. The breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent in the quality and diversity of food, and the prices are considerably cheaper than at other hotels. The location is 5 minutes from the airport and next to the Ritz Carlton Hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

staff was very friendly and helpful. Location could have not been better. Even though it has a beautiful pool, having the beach was wonderful. Would defenitely recommend and stay again at the hotel

I was not happy with this hotel. The conseige on duty was rude. When asked how to validate my parking she waved me away towards the front door, I was clearly baffled, she then became irritated and continued to wave her hand. Once I exited the elevator, there was a foul odor in the corridor. When I opened my room door, the room smelled of mildew. The carpet had gotten wet because of the rain coming from the balcony door. During the night there was a puddle of water underneath the bathroom sink. This is how we spent our 19th anniversary. My husband had originally booked with the Radisson, but he thought he would go for the sure thing, and to our surprise this was not at all what we expected.

Nice place to stay, the staff and guest at the hotel made our stay quite enjoyable

Bathroom was dirty, bathtub drain retained water, so back-up of shower water caused us to call maintenance. Maintenance man had difficulty understanding English. Noisy on second floor, if you want to go to sleep early. Very nice facilities. Loved the pool (with pool bar) and beach areas. Have hammocks on the beach. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Expensive dining opportunities at site. Kids loved the ice cream bar.

Overall the hotel was real good. Unfortunately we got a room on the 2nd floor and the only view we had was of the roof and the top of some palm trees (they were nice). our neighbors were kind of young and very loud! I think they got on the roof from the balcony and just were disruptive - my husband and I are in our 50s so it was kind of loud. The rooms were clean. Great music in the Picante room! Puerto Rico! my heritage! overall we would recommend this hotel - just don't stay on the lower levels - pay more to get the top floors!

Just watch with your last bill. Special the last date. Be ready to paid.

It is a Great Location to be, Staff very kind, Rooms OK, and Great View. In our opinion the pools walls and bottom wasn't properly maintain, looked kind of dirty. I will say it was a 3 to 4 Star Hotel.
