My wife and I stayed for one night. We slept very badly as the bed was too small, not big enough for two average size adults.

Enjoyed a very comfortable nights stay here. Chose this over cheaper alternatives as it was fairly close to city centre (we walked in and back!) and yet offered free parking at the hotel. Our room was hugeand very comfortable. We paid £4 extra to have breakfast the next morning and this was well worth it - help yourself to buffet style full english cooked breakfast, and also cereal&fruit available. Made a great start to the next day!

Good location for Nottingham Centre without the noise. Good bus routes into city centre. Slightly rambling hotel with lots of ups & downs. Excellent breakfast. Room very comfortable but a bit small. Good value

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel as we managed to get a great offer. The car parking is free and this was an added bonus. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel to take you into the city centre and these run every few minutes. the evening meal in the hotel restaurant was very good as were the breakfasts, however the dining room did get very busy on a morning. The rooms were a bit old fashioned but clean and tidy. The bath was quite small, but on the whole no complaints. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you were looking for somewhere convenient to stay in Nottingham

Our room was BEAUTIFUL. It was large, bright, with a sitting room, fireplace, bow window and a private bath that wasn't part of the actual room. The staff was friendly, helpful and acted like they really wanted us there. The value for the money is excellent. By far the nicest hotel we stayed in during our three weeks in Europe We felt like we were a guest in a well cared for private home rather than in a hotel.

As a business hotel this fitted the bill.

King size room. Really large room nice and clean, however heating not on during day therefore room cold, steam bath in bathroom broken and not working. other than that it is a good hotel to stay in. In fact have stayed there several times now.

The Best Western Westminster Hotel. First impressions mean a lot and sadly on arrival the receptionist spent several minutes chatting on the phone, not business but a personal call, I wasn't even acknowledged. At breakfast the two girls on duty talked about parties, shopping and when their days of were. Not until another lady appeared did anybody check on the guests and the self service breakfast bar which had run out of some food items. On the plus side the room was fine, bathroom very clean & the food was good. The Hotel is much further away from the City centre then anticipated I walked it however there are several buses if required. If your only going there for the room then yes this is a good value standard hotel. But I'm not sure if special occassions or busines trips would enjoy the lack of basic customer care.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel is small and nicely cared for. The only difficult thing was the snug carpark. When full it was extremely difficult to get in and out of-especially for a non-British driver.

It's a good hotel, with all of the essentials.

Hotel room was nice and decorated well, bed very comfy. And a fab breakfast in the morning - reception staff friendly and helpful .

We recently stayed overnight at the Best Western Hotel in Nottingham en route to Yorkshire. We found it to be very comfortable and friendly. The rooms very good. Also the breakfast included the next morning was lovely. We would recommend anyone to this hotel.

The hotel looked to have recently been upgraded as the general condition was excellent. Our room exceeded our expectations. The only aspect that let the hotel down was the attention of the staff at breakfast who were not as organised or attentive as they could have been.

This is a very pleasant and reasonably priced hotel. Rooms are well equipped and the public areas are comfortable, clean and nicely turned out. The staff were all polite and helpful and were happy to get me a Gin and Tonic even after the bar had closed. My only slight issue was the cleanliness of the room. I paid for a delux room which was well equipped for the price with bathrobes, free wifi, air con and a trouser press as well as separate bath and shower/steam cubicle (though the steamer was not working). There was old spider webs in corners of the room and around the wall lights/air con unit, which could very easily be removed with a duster in less than 2 minutes. Not a big issue but it did look a bit lazy being such a basic thing, especially as the rest of the hotel was very clean and tidy. That said I would recommend this to people and would stay here again.

We arrived early for check in but our room was ready so we were allowed to check in at 12.45. Our room was very spacious indeed, we could not have asked for more. Even dressing gowns and slippers were provided together with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good too. It seemed more like a 30 min walk into town which was the only point we weren't very happy about. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Tatty hotel. The single room was miniscule, airless and ridiculously hot even though the heating was off and it was the middle of November. Only plus was free internet access.

I found the staff to be very helpful indeed, led by a friendly manager who couldn't do more to make my stay comfortable. The room was well appointed and quiet and clean.

Very comfortable hotel close to the centre of Nottingham. Friendly staff and good value for money made this an enjoyable stay for me.

Excellent service and really great people. The room was lovely but the bed left a great deal to be desired, it was hard and lumpy, so lumpy I slept on the pillows to get some sleep.

This hotel is marvellous.

Stayed for 2 nights on a weekend special deal so had room with kingsize bed and also free breakfast. The first night had a meal in the hotel which was OK but nothing special but waitress Maureen gave us all her attention and should be praised! Breakfast was buffet service at weekend and had cereal and toast but other half did have cooked breakfast. The bedroom was large with a sitting room area and even had a 42" TV and also coffee making facilities which was our cup of tea (excuse the pun)! The room had air con which we were greatful of, as only one window opened,which was on to a busy main road! The air con seemed to have packed up during the night as we could hear drip, drip and realized it water was dripping from the unit on to the bureau desk causing rather a mess of the wood. We informed the reception in the morning but said the unit most likely had frozen during th night! We didn't use it again but still it dripped onto the desk which was a bit of a worry as the room looked as though it has been recently refurbished!

The hotel was average in most respects,the food was good though. Finding your room,if it was on the second floor,was like going through a maze. Room itself was rather small too though clean.

extremely friendly welcome on arrival,which continued during our stay. room clean and spacious,and meals of good standard. helpfullness continued after our departure,as we had left mobile phone behind,which staff found and offered to send to us. would definitely recommend.

Basic room - shower was not very powerful at all but beds were comfortable and tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was standard. Location was good - only £3.60 into town in a taxi.

The hotel was tired, I would say it was a poor 3 star. Reception staff very nice, Restaurant staff far too familiar. The food was over priced when you saw the quality. Would not stay at this Hotel again.

This hotel is well run although does require some modenisation, parking is convienient and as the hotel is on the main road is easy to find. The service is polite and curtious.

We stayed here are we were attending the Capital FM Arena to see a show. It was in a great location, bus stop right outside the door which took us right into town. The bus driver was very friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean, the room was very nicely decorated and was comfortable. My only complaint would be that the door to the room didn't fit properly so by having the window open during the night as it was hot, the door kept banging. Other than than we had a great stay, breakfast was really nice and would definitely recommend.

Staff extremely helpful. Room small and somewhat dark, but clean and adequate. Nice bathroom. Food fine. Would stay again.

Our room was nothing at all like the pictures online - felt as if we had gone back 20 years!! Very clean, but SO old fashioned. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of free car parking. Walls quite thin - could hear the people in the next room's conversation!! We did not use the restaurant so can't comment on that. Having said all that, I would stay there again.

The Hotel is better than a travel lodge and has on site parking, which is a must now when visiting any big city. Not in the best location, but the pub across the road gave us a warm welcome. The breakfast was very good and all waiting staff pleasant.

The room was small, and the hotel was poorly located. and a disappointment. We stay at Best Western hotels quite often, and this one was not up to the usual standard. One positive thing was the use of the Internet computer in the lobby.

The room was, to say the least, large. The cleanliness beyond reproach with a very well eqipped bathroom which included a shower/steam room combined. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in each room. The double glazing kept any outside noise to a minimum. The bed was very large but the springs firm although it did not spoil sleep. There was some entertainment from the next room with loud noises of pleasure but this did subside after a short period. The following night was quiet. I would recommend this hotel and will most certainly stop there again, excellent location for the city and a very good buffet breakfast.

This Hotel was relatively easy to find - handy for buses into city centre and also adequate car parking facilities. Room was large and clean although could benefit from some modernisation. Bed was extremely uncomfortable and toilet wouldnt flush properly. Ok for a short stay. Breakfast was adequate but definitely would recommend eating elsewhere for dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great little hotel, close to the town. Room was clean pretty much what you would hope for really and it was a great price!!

A one night stay to see a show in the city centre, very convenient location just a short distance to the theatre. Room spacious and very clean. The best asset this hotel has is its staff, extremely helpful and obliging. Not always the case in some of the larger establishments !!

Expected a higher standard of room. Up and down lots of stairs ,room was dingy, old fashioned and smelled musty. Bathroom was tired ,shower leaked,no bathrobes and when these were queried ,we were made to feel like we'd stolen them and asked for more!. My sister and her family paid more and had a similar awful room,poor beds and threadbare bedding. When we were leaving we saw a beautiful modern light room just like the one in the brochure! Not impressed Best western.

hotel was comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. It was also convenient for all amenities as bus stop almost outside the door so no need to use car for getting about

This hotel needs updating the outside look old n scuffy this is thre same for hall way and restrurant but our room was lovely no problems.we found there was too many staff hanging around chatting n. Smoking in the doorways generally not doing a lot

We stayed here for one night to go out in Nottingham and it was great. We walked into town which took about 15-20 minutes but there is a bus stop literally outside if you would rather get the bus, they stop there veery couple of minutes (some only take the correct change). We got a taxi back at night which only cost £5. The room we had (226) was huge! the bed was massive and so was the room! The shower was good and the whole room was clean. The breakfast (as always at Best Westerns) was brilliant, loads of choice and fresh toast coffee etc served to your table. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was vaery comfortable & clean. The staff were very friendly & curtious & I would stay there on my next visit to the area & I would reccomend this hotel to my friends!!!! A big thank you to the management & staff!!!!!!!!!

I booked a single room and although small was not as 'compact' as some I have stayed in - in fact the bathroom was quite large and it was all incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly: particularly in the restaurant as the waiter gave me a complimentary bottle of sparkling water to take to my room. All in all - excellent. Thank you. I will be booking again.

Room was clean, check in efficient, parking fine and nice breakfast. Location was fine for my business trip, good price as well.

After another business trip to Nottingham I picked the Best Western Westminister as it is good value in a suitable location. The bonus - free wifi and parking. Good stay and I would stay again.
