We be back!

Place was good for one day get away. I book for a regular queen size bed. The bedroom door looks old and so was the bathroom door. Over all the room was neat and clean. You could hear everything that was outside the door kind of hard to sleep. I would come back again but maybe I'll book for a bigger room. So the bed wouldn't be too near to the entrance bedroom door. The park near by hotel was kinda of creepy. We had a guy came up to us trying to sale us drugs. So we left the park and Google a different location for park.

A great place to stay while in Portland. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, service was excellent. Convenient to public transportation, or a 5 minute drive by car into downtown area. I would definitely stay there again.

They went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable

My only complant would be that one of the pillows for the bed looked moldy and stained.

great clean pace to stay. not far from down town. Cab only $7. the room smelled great. beds was comfy

I stayed here and I felt like the hotel was too much for they gave me. There was no fridge to put my dinner and no microwave. The trashcans had no liners which made it inconvenient to throw sticky things away. Parking was 9 dollars a night and I had to put a $50 deposit on the room when I checked in. But hey free cookies!

Love the Double Tree!!! Yes, the room was small, but for two people is was perfect! Bed was completely comfortable. The only draw back was there was no hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee cart was excellent!!! Will definitely stay here again very soon.

We stay here almost everytime we come to Portland. We have ventured out and stayed in a couple other hotels but we keep coming back to this one. It's quieter than the downtown hotels and close to the max that will take you downtown. The surrounding neighborhood seems great; we like to walk around and there is a lovely park across the street. Parking is more reasonable that the downtown hotels that we have stayed in. Staff are helpful and all the rooms we have stayed in have been warm and comfortable. I love this town and love staying in this hotel :)

It was lovely. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Great fireplace and food in the lobby. Would have liked a fridge in the room, but other than that, it was perfect!

From the second we checked in to the moment we left service was that of a much higher priced hotel. My wife and I felt like we made a wrong turn and ended up in Vegas. Kudos to the staff. Super.

Convenient to meeting location and major freeways. Price was reasonable, but paying $9 for parking was outrageous. The staff checking us in were very helpful, but the process and parking while checking in was a fiasco. The bar help was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The desserts were great after a yummy dinner out at McMennimans.

It was a very comfortable stay.

Was a most enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable. Very low water pressure in the shower. The staff was very friendly. We asked the front desk person about getting around downtown and she gave us a map with the train lines marked on it. She should have told us that the downtown area is no longer a free zone as it states on the map. So my suggestion is either get new maps, or tell guests that it is no longer a free ride.

It was a great stay, recommend this hotel.

This is a nice property, but it is surrounded on two sides by the MAX line. Be prepared to hear the trains come through every ten minutes from 5:30 am to 12:30 am the next day on weekdays. We could hear them clearly on the 10th floor and could even see a vibration in a glass of water. They nickle and dime you for everthing - wireless Internet has a fee unless you are in the Hilton Honors program, parking has a fee which is doubled on Friday & Saturday nights, and breakfast was not included in our rate (apparently it may be in some, but not what was offered through Hotels.com reservations). This is approximately a ten minute brisk walk to the main convention center, but it is just across from the Lloyd Center mall. Overall I was disappointed and will not stay here again.

we got the room for our Bob Seger Concert and had a wonderful time...we would stay here again....very nice... =]

Super clean and nice and modern hotel. Everything was great. Parking was a little bit expensive and no free valet though.

Several things made our stay less than comfortable: a/c unable to properly cool room, slow maintenance response, paid $9/day for parking with no prior indication that parking isn't free, terrible service at the coffee annex...overall a very frustrating experience. Great location close to the Rose Garden but so glad our stay was only one night.

I wasn't sure what to expect and my husband and I were surprised at the size of the room and how conveniently located the hotel was. The room was large and clean. We arrived a few hours early and were able to be checked in early, which was very appreciated since I was feeling a little car sick from the ride. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were there for 3 days....there were 6 huge events going on. The hotel was always clean, staff was friendly. You would have never know the hotel was completely booked. The only downfall was there is no longer a free zone for the Max train.

Room was small but adequate. There were a couple of minor problems that were quickly attended to, TV remote with a dead battery and a lamp that wouldn't work. But the HVAC was silent--noisy fans are one of my pet peeves in most hotels. The location was convenient and easy to access. The check-out and check-in was exceptionally quick. The final bill slipped under the door and I was told to leave the "key" in the room and just let the desk know by phone as I was leaving. Only minor "complaint" was no hair dryer and I'd forgotten mine.

Check-in was easy and all staff we pleasant and eager to help. However the rooms to need some attention. The rooms were generally clean but they were small and lacked the amenities one would expect of the Doubletree name. There was no fridge or microwave.The grout in the bathroom was in need of a good scrubbing and had only a shower, no tub. Too expensive for what you got.

The hotel was overall very clean and comfy. We got our room on a special deal and for being a 4 star hotel we thought we would have all of the above. We did not have a fridge or microwave in our room and would have to pay for internet. Luckily we had a nice receptionist give us a passcode for internet so we didn't have to pay. Also you can ask for a microwave to be brought up to your room at no cost so that was good. Just for the price would have expected a little more. But overall beautiful hotel in a wonderful spot.

Very nice hotel well located. Always love the warm cookies. Only stayed one night but the bed was comfy and staff was pleasant. Has everything you need for business or pleasure.

rooms were clean and comfortable, I was disappointed in the fact that if you wanted Wi-Fi it cost extra, and some niceties such as fridge and microwave weren't in room like most hotels in this price range have, at no extra cost.
