When we arrived the man at reception was picking his nose which was dreadful this put as off as soon as we arrived, the staff was not that helpful with information but the location was excellent within walking distance of the station, breakfast great plenty to eat, room clean and very nice with an open balcony.

this was the worse ever hotel i stayed in italy. the service was extremely unacceptable. check in takes so long, so if someone is waiting behind, you will have to bear with them, its going to take ages. so what happened was: i was waiting behind while someone in front of me was checking in. (i just want to ask some questions regardless travelling around florence) i waited SO LONG, then the receptionist looked at me and say 'come back half hour later'. i was like 'but i just want to ask a question' (so that i can GO!). THEN, he was like 'can you see that i am busy?' i was like 'what?' and then i decided to go. but before leaving the hotel, i decided to go to the toilet first. 5 minutes later, when i come back from the toilet, the people who were checking in is gone, there is no one there. SO HOW WILL IT TAKE HALF HOUR? i cant be bothered to talk to the guy, and i left. in conclusion my experience in this hotel was terrifyingly disappointing. and will NOT recommend it or come back EVER AGAIN.

AC in room is not cool enough for hot Italian summer!

Please find a way to have more shower stall coverage. There is no curtain and only one glass door that causes the washroom to flood and creating a slipping hazard for a bad fall to crack your head open. Also, many bugs in the hotel room and mosquitoes, flies and fruit flies. Lots of dead bugs on the walls that were not wiped away. Bad ventilation in the bedroom. Sorry I will not come back again.

Hotel location is very close to the main train station S.M.N and the main bus station so that it's very convenitent to go everywhere. The staff are very nice but the room is very old-stylish, everything are old inside the room.....

4-star hotel across the street from the main train station (Santa Maria Novella) in Florence, Italy made it very convenient to travel to other cities w/o a car. The hotel had brochures offering tons of tours, which was extremely helpful. They buy/sell euros at a good price. Although it lacked a comfy bed, it was comparable to the other 4star hotels we stayed at throughout our trip, and had the same Comfort as our 5star hotel in venice (bocolo hotels). Free buffet breakfast & appetizer buffet at the bar at night. The dinner at their restaurant was great and big! This had the best price and location in Florence.

The quality of hotel is really good, the room and bathroom is new and makes me comfortable. Their breakfast buffet is really excellent, they provide many food choices which is the best when comparing to my visit in Italy, roma, pisa, firence, milano. This hotel is really want to recommend to everyone, as for giving the cheap price , you can enjoy good quality of hotel.

I booked this hotel because of it's proximity to the railway station which is an easy 5 minute stroll from the hotel. My room was extremely basic but comfortable. My room came with a balcony however I was not trusted with outdoor furniture. On the down side, check in staff were rude to myself and the person checking in after me.

Some of the staff were not very helpful... appart from that, very good!!! Nice gym...

I booked this hotel for the convenience and price. It was great for those reasons and the staff was very helpful in all ways. I was not satisfied with the room we had as we had booked a queen bed and were put in a very skinny long room hardly wide enough for a DOUBLE bed, it had a joining door to a room with 3 double beds, which were I am sure occupied with at least 6 or more people who yelled and slammed doors until 12:00 am. I called at 10 and 11 pm to complain and I did hear the boy at the desk call their room and after that they got somewhat quieter and when others came in they would immediately tell them to be quiet, but it didn't last long. I told them I would report it to Hotels.com as he couldn't move us to another as there were none. We had already unpacked. Next morning the manager comped our parking charge in their garage which we appreciated. I had our reservation booked for 5 months and did not appreciate getting the room we reserved.

although the reception and restaurant were very modern and well decorated, the rooms and corridors themselves were not. The bathroom was a bit shabby and I had to run the water a long time as it was brown. I thought I would boil the kettle as the water looked a bit iffy but the plug didn't fit. The staff were however friendly. The WIFI didn't work in the room.

Mediocre hotel in the centre of Florence.... one of the reception staff in particular was extremely unhelpful and rude and for this reason I would not book this hotel again. I have taken large groups to Grand Hotel Villa Medici and Grand Hotel Adriatico which are much better and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms poor too at Hotel Londra.

First of all the front desk staff are a bunch of grouchy, grey-haired old men that would rather carry on their own private conversations than assist guests. The rooms, lookd NOTHING like the photos on the website, and the hallways are a mess. The hallways and rooms reek of cigarette smoke, and if you call to complain about the smoke, suddenly no one speaks english. Even the location is awful. I thought staying near the station would be convenient, but it wasn't. There was nothing nearby, and I mean NOTHING. The only good thing about this place was the selection at breakfast- and that was just slightly better than average. I would never recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Good location -about 15 minutes walk to main square. Clean, quiet and reasonable priced. Friendly ,helpful staff, all speak english well

Hotel Londra was a great hotel for the price we paid. The photos on the website show up to date rooms. We were not given one of those rooms, which was disappointing, but we were also not in the room much as there is so much to see and do in Florence. The breakfast was great. This was probably the largest continental breakfast I have ever seen. The hotel is located right on the edge of all of the attractions. We enjoyed this because it was only a short walk to see the sights and it was nice to be somewhat removed from the busy streets when sleeping. If you do not plan to spend much time in your hotel room while in Florence, this is a good place to stay!

Ok so im an american tourist that travels frequently in Europe. I have stayed all over and this hotel has by far been one of the best! Upon checking in I was greeted by the friendly staff. Most of the rooms have been renovated and are very modern. My room was very clean, no carpet and the floor was spotless. The bathroom had a rain shower head and a large bathtub. The balcony was cute and the beds were very comfortable (not at all common in european hotels) and the breakfast was great (not just lunch meat and a danish like most euro hotels offer). The location was perfect. If you are arriving from the Pisa airport by train or coach you arrive at the Santa Maria Novela station and you are only two blocks away. It is also perfect to walk to ALL of the main attractions in Florence. Overall I had an amazing time with a great place to stay. I would give this 10 stars if I could!

clean, near the train station perfect for luggage, there is a really good restaurant near by carrabaccia

I Booked a week stay at Hotel Londra looking at the photos and the convenience of being close to SMN terminal since we were arriving by train from Paris. It looked like a very modern and updated hotel compared to most in Florence. I also prefer no carpeting in the rooms due to my allergies. The photos they showed are not the room we got. The room we got was spacious in size but was extremely dated. The beds were very firm and the pillows were flat. They must be going through a renovation process throughout the hotel. most of the floors/hallways had a musty smell and the wallpaper was peeling off or it was filthy. I believe floors 2 and 4 are renovated like the photos they posted. I peeked inside one of the rooms while they were cleaning and it had hard wood floors and a total modern look that I was hoping for. Complete opposite of our room. The complimentary breakfast was very good and there were many options. They cleaned our room sometimes even though we put the do not disturb sign. You also get one key and must leave it with them if you are leaving the hotel. Not a big deal but again they must be going through some changes. The lobby area including the outdoor lounge was kept clean at all times. There is only free wireless Internet service down in the lobby and you had to get a new code every three days to access the Internet. They do have two computers also but they are extremely slow and there are no printers to use. The front desk staff was was decent to say the least. I can't exactly say they were helpful. The ladies that worked the front desk during the evening shift was just awful. They looked miserable and rarely said hello or smiled. The only one that was helpful, attentive and always smiled was Fabrizio ( I think that was his name). Overall a decent stay but would not recommend to friends.

this hotel is only a few minutes walk away from the train station and about 10 minutes from cathedral and15 to 20 minutes from the uffizi gallery and the ponte vecchio. the hotel is very modern in it apperance and well kept by the staff. the staff were friendly and helpful. the resturant in the hotel is lovely but there are cheapier and better in the city. the rooms were of an excellant condition and had everything we needed.

We stayed at Hotel Londra twice in ten days and were on the fifth floor the first time from where we had excellent views balcony and plenty of room for the sofa bed for my daughter. We requested the same room for our return trip and it was not a problem. The breakfasts were excellent, catering for all tastes and there was plenty of everything. The staff were corteous and very efficient. We will stay at the Hotel Londra again.

Situated just a 2 minute walk from the main station and just a 5 minute walk from some of the main sites, the Hotel Londra is the perfect base from which to explore Firenze. The hotel gives the impression of being light, airy and modern with professional and courteous staff. The website shows rooms to be crisp and fashionable. Whilst I'm sure this is true, the room I stayed in was, if being ultra-critical, a tad on the drab side. That said, for 4 days it housed 3 adults and there was plenty of room and there are absolutely no complaints about the cleanliness. The included breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of choice (hot breakfast, continental, fruits, cereals etc) and all were fresh and extremely tasty. The garden / patio area is a lovely way to finish off an evening. It compliments the city beautifully and creates and tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. This hotel is excellent value for money.

We loved this hotel. Convenient for the station and everything else is a nice walk away. Super breakfasts and a clean, comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities. We plan to visit Florence again and would undoubtedly use this hotel.

This property was experiencing construction on the street in front and the noise was load and early each morning. The rooms and hallways were nowhere near the 4 star rating that your website reflects. However, the people were friendly and helpful.

The actual rooms are different from what we saw in the website. The dirty red carpets make me feel disgusted.

This hotel is not far from Florence SMN train station. It is about 15 minutes walk to a shopping area close to Duomo. Free internet and breakfast (not great, but enough to start for the morning). The only thing is watch out for the bed bugs.

平日宿泊でしたが、部屋の広さも朝食も十分満足できる物でした。日本人の団体ツアーにも利用されているようで、場所的にもS.M.ノベェラ駅から近く、駅前のコンビニでの買い物も可能。難点は、駅の周りには何もないので、レストラン等いは少し歩かないといけない点です。ただし、フィレンチェの町は小さいので、数分歩けばレストランやお買い物も問題ありません。

訂房入住前只貪這裡跟火車站距離較近。 Check In 時櫃檯服務員態度散漫，交給我們的匙竟然沒辦法開啟房門。 告知前檯時，他們態度好像知道預測到沒辦法開門似的，直接換另一間房就算了。 到達另一間房時，又竟然發然門上有螞蟻在爬。3~4星酒店應該不接受存在這種東西吧! 酒店設計奇怪，走廊及房門前竟然有梯及，大型&重行李極不方便。 房內亦沒有暖氣。室外當時只是攝氏0度天氣，晚間更低，但房內溫度亦異常低，沒有暖氣，難以入睡。 請人過來看，要打兩次電話才願意。 服務員亦沒辦法即時修理。 下次再到Florence，不會考慮這家酒店。亦不會推薦。

bon hotel qui est tres bien place par rapport aux sites touristique ; il y a plusieurs type de chambre attention si on essaye de vous en donner une aux derniers etages ou il n y a pas encore eu de traveaux de renovation grande surprise quant on s attend a un hotel moderne . le tout est de le savoire et de demander(malheureusement il a fallut beaucoup insister ) une chambre qui a ete moderniser pas plus chere et c est pour ca que l on y a reserve .

When i arrived i noticed, in the minibar, there was a mineral water bottle alerady opened, and refilled with some water from the bathorrom. I told it to the reception, the morning after, mainly to be sure to find a new mineral water, when i would have come back, for the night. Of course, when i ve headed to the room that same day, the cheated bottle was still there. Little, stupid things ... but how difficult could be tell the maids to check it and replace ?

Hotellet hadde en fin beliggendhet i forhold til byens sentrum. Kort avstand til serverdigheter og kommunikasjonsmidler. Rommene trenger en oppussing og gangene. Stilfull spiseplass og bar samt foaje. Frokostbuffen var god med et godt utvalg av mat og drikke. Servicen var perfekt.

Accueil moyen. Hotêl ayant besoin d'un sérieux rafraichissement. Salles de bain médiocres et viellottes. Parking payant et nombre de places insuffisant

We were satisfied with the Hotel Londra: clean, peaceful, good location and excellent breakfast. The facilities in the room were good and check in routines effective. We recommed this hotel to other travellers.

Voi olla, että hotellissa on myös sen kuvauksen yhteydessä näytettyjen tilojen kaltaisia kerroksia, mutta näkemämme tilat ja huoneet ovat täysin kuvista poikkeavia: kuluneita, pinttyneen tahraisia, epärsteettisiä ja suoraan sanottuna kurjia. Jos saat tämän hotellin hintaan 30-50 euroa/ yö, kannattaa se ottaa. Muuten ei. Odotukseni oli korkealla koska luulin saapuvani ihanaan, viihtyisään paikkaan. Vastassani oli kulahtanut läävä, jollaiseen juuri en halunnut -ja josta syystä en varannut 40e maksavia paikkoja. Huone oli ruma, ei likainen, mutta pinttyneet läikät viininpunaisessa kokolattiamatossa teki siitä surkean. Ikkunoiden takana näkyi parveke, josta kivi oli murentunut ja lohkeillut, parvekelaatikoissa sojottivat kuolleet kukanvarret, käytävä oli kammottava läjä kengän mustia jälkiä omaavia ovia ja lisää tahraista kokolattiamattoa. KIERTÄISIN KAUKAA tämän läävän jos et voi olla varma, että pääset remontoitiin huoneeseen -jos niitä koko hotellissa edes on!

Et bra og svært sentralt hotell. Frukosten var utmerket. Parkering i bakgården var trang og ikke "gratis", men kjærkommen etter en dags reise.
