This Is A Great Place To Stay If You aren't expecting A Nice Expensive Place. Great Price For What We Needed It For.

Hotel was old with sone updates. Stairwells were filthy. Breakfast fair. Lower class clientele - bad grammar, loud voices. Did not feel safe. If we had not prepaid online, we would have gone somewhere else.

This hotel met my expectations for the price. Breakfast was actually better than I was expecting (waffle maker, decent biscuits & gravy, cereal, juice, milk- it could use some sort of cheap fresh fruit like bananas or apples, but otherwise about as good a breakfast as you'll find at a cheap hotel). The staff were polite, and the rooms relatively clean (it could use a good cleaning in the nooks & crannies of the room & bathroom as well as some new bed linens, but I didn't feel uncomfortable or unsanitary) The price & location were great for going to Worlds of Fun (It's too far to walk, but was the cheapest of the string of hotels that are all right across the interstate from the park). If you're looking for a nice vacation spot, I don't know that I would pick this hotel, but if you're looking for a cheap place to sleep either before or after a day at Worlds of fun, this place is great!

I have stayed in some iffy hotels but I couldn't stay here. The room was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, the sheets had not been changed in a while - real dirt, lipstick and fresh stains whose origins I didn't want to think about. The building is run-down, the parking lot potholed, the windows smudged and dirty, the people hanging around the motel and leaning out of doors were down and out. We looked at the room, walked out and left, after talking to the very pleasant and sympathetic young woman in the office. She wasn't surprised

My husband and I were just coming into town for the one night to see a concert. We didn't have a lot of extra money but didn't want to make the 7 hour trip back home right after either. This hotel fit our budget. We were a little worried but decided to give it a go. The staff were amazing and very attentive. Our room was clean and had a mini fridge and a microwave. We had a king non smoking room and it also came with a couch. Breakfast the next morning was a small affair but it had a make your own waffle section. This was a nice treat. We would book this hotel again.

The room was in disrepair, carpets and walls torn, dirty and unkempt. overall very disgusting. Especially for 82.00 a night.. will never go there again!

The hotel was basic and had your basic necessities. The employees were friendly and welcoming. If you aren't expecting much but need a quiet place to stay for a day or two this hotel works out nice.

Overall the employees were very friendly and helpful just wish the room was up to pare. The extra sheets that were given to us for the roll out beds smelled like cigarette smoke and moth balls. The bathroom ceiling was very delipadated. The water took several minutes to get hot for a shower. The heat and air vent smelled like urine when air was flowing room #139. I feel like if I pay $91 for a room my experience should have been better.

Great for location & price.

The room was dirty - the carpet, the vents, the stained sheets, the coffee maker. Everything was noisy - the dripping faucet, the banging in the walls, the heating\cooling unit (with no thermostat, so we had to get up several times in the middle of the night to adjust the temperature), the ice machine right outside our door, and the inconsiderate guests who continued yelling outside our window until 3 AM. The hot water heater was also iffy. We got two terrible nights of "sleep" and we will NOT be visiting again.

My experience with the management left me with the impression that guests are something they are forced to deal with as part of the business process.

Gas station nearby for lunch/dinner. Decent casino nearby. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Not perfect by any means but better than expected

The shower did not work properly: little pressure and water did not spray from all the exit points. The television had several channels that faded in and out. Also very noisy. I have stayed at this hotel about a year ago and it was a lot better then. For an overnight on the road, it is fine, but I would not stay here longer than absolutely necessary.

Stayed for One Thing Conference KC Int'l House of Prayer. Long hours so nice to come back to comfortable beds and kind people.

I will never spring for a cheap room again. Please pay the extra 5 - 20 for a nicer room in a different hotel.

Hotel really needs to invest inbetter maintenance. Place is really run down!!

Good option for a cheap one night stay. Rooms connect directly to outside which is a little annoying at night. Right next to a few hotels that are all better options if the price isn't too much different.

Was in town on business had to be up early the next day for a meeting. I got little to no sleep, because of large trucks in the parking lot all night long.

Rundown facility and neighborhood. Not clean but not real dirty. Door was banged up and we were never sure if it locked or not. Everything worked marginally. Breakfast was very slim for an advertised "hot breakfast". Overall, probably wouldn't stay there again.

Good sized rooms with Queen sized beds. Close to Worlds of Fun & the Casinos.

The stay was average, a bit loud from traffic and street noise. The room door looked like it had been kicked in from a drug raid. Other than that, it was good.

Decent hotel for the price. But even with a smoking room I'd expect the inside to be a little more sanitary. All I have to say is we found blood on our blanket and poo stains on our sheets. Along with many cig burns, but that was to be expected I guess.

It was like every other hotel..run down, broken ac, loud neighbors!!!!

it was OK

Did not like the hotel and was way over priced for the quality of the hotel.

We booked a room for 4 people. No linens were left for the sofa bed. Only one towel and wash cloth. Sink was dirty. Floor wasn't vaccumed. After showering I walked from the shower to the bed and my feet were almost black. Air conditioner was very loud. Toilet took two time to flush every time it was used.

The room was very nice. And the people gave good service, other than the lights to the vanity was broken and the ac unit was not working properly. It did have air but the room still seemed warm.

The bathroom in our room was disgusting! the tub needed to be replaced so bad. On top of that the WIFI didn't work the first day and we were not comped for it or anything. Im going back to KC this coming weekend. Guess where im NOT staying. The only thing I liked was the brakfast was pretty good.

We were given our first room keys and found a room not made up with pillows and bedspreads on the floor. Went back to the front desk and were sent to a smoking room when we booked a nonsmoking. The parking lot was poorly lit. The desk clerk was less than professional. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

The hotels needs a lot of major updating. The value was good but the clientel was a little bit on the trashy side. Barely found a parking space after 9 p.m. Won't stay there again!

has a feel of a low rent motel. Wifi didn't work the first night, didnt really work properly the other nights.

It was okay.

It was in very nice location of Worlds of Fun, it was a fair price. The room was nice. Couch, King Size Bed, Fridge, Microwave, and of course HBO. The pool was nice..a little cold...but nice (nothing you can do about water temperature.) The only thing I had a problem with was check-in at 3 unless you want to spend $25 extra bucks, I mean we were a little bit on the early side at 9 but I wouldn't like it would be that late, but overall no complaints really,,,had a nice stay.

My husband, 3 kids and I took a spontanous trip to KC to visit Worlds of fun. Since it was Memorial Weekend, lots of hotels were booked up and we didn't have much of a choice. But we HAD to have a swimming pool for the kids and a hotel that accepted dogs. This hotel had that. And a plus was that it was across the street from Worlds of Fun, so we didn't have far to go. Hotel room was not in the best shape, but it was a room that fit the 5 of us. After the kids went swimming in the cold pool we went back to the room to give them a warm bath and the drain would not plug so I stood there with a towel over the drain. Which worked but was not very convenient. It was nice to have gas station and several other eating places in the area. I would probably stay there again if nothing else was available. but would check out other places first. It just happened that we needed to take our dog on this trip which maybe didnt help with our hotel choice.
