my wife and i had a super stay at this hotel the breakfast was plenty to keep you going a good selection and as much as you can eat/drink we both thought it was excellent value for money very clean and simple decor with a friendly atmosphere near enough for transport links and far enough away from noise we would fully recommend this hotel

Enjoyed staying two nights here last week. Very close to the downtown and all the important sites. There is a great French Bistro opposite to the hotel which we enjoyed eating there twice...would love to go back to Prague and stay at BW. Raja

My fiancee and I stayed at the Hotel Moran for 4 nights over Christmas and it was a delight. It is located next to a metro stop which made getting around town a breeze. It was also only 2 or 3 blocks from the river and the Dancing Building. The walk to old town takes about 15 minutes, but along the way there are lots of really interesting sights to see. Hotel Moran is definitely in a less "touristy" area, which has its pros and cons. You'll be further from old town, the Jewish quarter, and lesser town (although its a short walk). But, the walk to Vysehrad is much closer and definitely worth your time. The staff at the hotel spoke english and were helpful, but it was also fun to learn a little Czech before we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding! And if you're in the mood for something a little more fancy there is a little cafe across the street that is very nice. We would certainly recommend the Hotel Moran to anyone traveling to Prague and will stay there again whenever we return.

Spent 5 nights here over Christmas with my girlfriend. We are both 25, and have travelled alot. Hotel was in a great location by subway and tram lines. Front desk staff spoke english, answered any questions we had. Breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, sausages, pastrys, fruit, cerel, granola, etc. Room was large, good beds, clean. TV had 3 english channels, plus others in foreign languages. Bathroom/shower were great. Hotel is 5 min walk to river, 15 min to Old Town Square. Lots of shops, grocery, pubs, around the hotel. Safe area, quiet. Perfect to get out of the tourist trap.

I spent 9 days in Prague. The city is beautiful. The hotel is amazing, with well appointed rooms, all very clean, located in prime location within walking distance of tourist sites. The staff are polite and helpful. The breakfast is great quality with fresh and up to believe it includes champagne. The hotel is highly recommended and I certainly lodge it again.

Spent enormous time on reception to pay simple garage booking.

A very nice and clean hotel. Staff had good english skills and breakfast was very good. Location in in a peacefull area, near metro and in a good weather you can walk from the centre. Good hotel.

Great Location ideal for all transport links to and from airport and City Centre. Clean and well appointed rooms. Overall a great hotel with wonderful staff and the breakfast is simple, fresh food that gives you a good start to the day. We would and have recommended this hotel to our friends and plan to stay there next time in Prague.

This hotel is quite alright. Rooms are small but clean and do the job. I only stayed for two nights and I wouldn't like to stay longer in such a small room. The only thing I don't like is when you book a double room and you get two matresses put together instead of a double matress. You have to sleep on one side of the bed and to me thats a twin setup. Hotel staff was helpful and breakfast good. Takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the center or a little longer if you take the scenic route along the river which is only about 500m from the hotel. I wouldn't mind staying again for a couple of nights but I would try to find something a little closer to the center.

Every facet of my stay at this hotel was wonderful. The staff were delightfully polite, kind, and helpful at every inquiry. Dagmar and the kitchen staff served up a full breakfast that would have been fit for a king! I could not have been more satisfied with my three week stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a safe and secure hotel in the city center. All my best - Happy Guest

We had a long weekend stay in Prague it was our first time to visit, would love to go back again it is a beauitful city and plent to do but you must have good walking shoes. The hotel was nice but sadly no bar or restaruant where one could go and relax after a long day's walking, however the breakfast in the morning was really nice and plentlyful, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms basic and could do with more pillows which we asked for but did not get, but didnt bother asking again. It is a small bit out of the way from all the activity but I would have no problem staying there again.

Nice quiet Hotel. will revisit

it was a wonderfull week,good service and grate food!

very comfortable,good breakfastuntil 11 am,for us the hotel was a walkable distance to center of town.Overall a good hotel.

Unbelievably wonderful!! Especially for the price. We left a Hilton for this Best Western and found we had WiFi and breakfast included. Hilton has nothing but hight prices with nothing included!!! It is right on the Metro which is very affordable.

A very nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. The location is great, everything is close on foot, the metro is cca 100m away. There is no parking however and the public parking garage across the street costs arround 20eur per day.

Excellent hotel with nice breakfast. Only the view from my room was not nice but it doesnt matter. Its well connected with metro and tram. Staffs were very freindly. Excellen breakfast. I will recommend this hotel. The exchange rate against Eoru to ch krone was not great in the hotel. So get some local currncy before entering the country.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the center and the metro in a quiet neighbourhood. Nice and comfy beds and pillows. Delicious and variated breakfast buffet. Try the Italian restaurant Fresco Vento arround the corner.

Very pleased with this hotel The staff were very efficient and helpful in our requests. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Very convenient to all amenities.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room OK if a little small - Top marks for cleanliness. Good location - quiet, but shops and bars nearby. Approx 20 mins walk to centre or 5 mins on the tram. Far enough from the centre to enjoy reasonably priced food and drink. Easy access to tram - great way to get around. Hotel mini market outrageously expensive. Use the nearby spermarkets. Overall extremely satisfied and would thoroughly recommend to others.

The staff is helpful, and continental breakfast buffet was excellent. The only annoying thing was the cigarette smoke coming from other room that we could smell in our bathroom.

We would use this hotel again without hesitation. The Hotel is well run, modern and very clean and warm. The breakfast was excellent, with a very good choice. We walked everywhere, nothing was more than a 15-20 minute walk from the Hotel. The staff at the Hotel were friendly and polite.

The Hotel Moran is situated about a 10 -15 minute walk from the main centre. The hotel is clean and staff were friendly, room also fairly decent. Hot & Cold breakfst served tht done the trick, the hot consisted of some lovely scrambled egg & bacon. Also unlimeted amount if juice and 10 different types of tea (How many do you need) Lots of lovely bars and restaurants nearby which are cheaper thn the main town and serve some gret food

we had a nice stay in Prague. the hotel was good, nice clean rooms, rooms were cleaned each day, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice at the continental buffet. Would stay there again. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from all the main sights of the city and the tram system and taxi services are good.

It was a nice, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Breakfast was simple, but good every morning. We got a great rate on the hotel room, however, my biggest complaint was that parking was located across the street in a garage and was very expensive. Other than the parking, I was very satisfied with my stay.

I loved the hotel, the room, the location, and especially the great breakfast buffet, but the high level of street noise kept me awake --- big problem for an otherwise great stay. I was there for several nights.

We took a 10min metro ride from the main train station and the hotel was just a 5min walk away. The tram and bus stations are both just next to the metro station. There are some groceries store nearby if you need to grab some drinks, though the hotel has its own minimart selling toiletries and drinks at a marked-up price. There is a good selection of TV programmes including those from English and sports channels. There is also free Wifi in the room. The breakfast was decent and sufficiently filling, though the restaurant does not serve dinner so remember to get your fill before returning to the hotel in the evening.

My personal rating of the hotel 3*. The positive side is Free WiFi available at rooms. The hotel is close to metro station which makes easy to access to anywhere in the city. Roms are clean, but I didn't feel the comfort. I also expected better breakfast with more choices of food. So in general, the hotel is ok, but I would review other options at this

Cab from airport 600 Kc. Hotel located on edge of New Town within 20" - 30" walk to the Old Town tourist sites and 5 minutes from the Karlovo náměstí metro site on the yellow (B) line. Good value for the rooms which include a buffet breakfast.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was clean the staff were polite and the breakfasts were very good. I liked the location vey quiet but within half an hours walk of all the main sites. The only minor down side was the hotel didnt have a bar but there were plenty of bars and restaurants within a minutes walk.. I would definately recomend this hotel

Breakfast is included. It's not far from the metro stop. The staff are really friendly and the room is clean. The only problem that I had was some noisy guests down the hall that were preventing me from sleeping. I contacted the front desk and they took care of it immediately.

The Location was excellent in that it was convenient to the metro and Trams running along the river and to the historic district. There is only a small BW plaque on the building so easy to walk by. The clerk was indifferent but later on that evening I called down for 2 extra pillows and the next clerk was very accomodating. Excellent price. Quiet location, if you dont mind figuring out the Tram to get to the old city (easy actually). Markets and restaurants close by.

The hotel is a short metro ride from the train station. DON'T take a taxi. Learn the metro and tram systems and it is wonderful. Great breakfast, free PC in the lobby, outstanding staff and clean rooms. What more could you ask for? Location? I thought that would be a negative as it is far from the tourist areas, but once you learn the metro and trams, it is great. And the walk (2 blocks) to the quiet part of the river to feed the swans and have an inexpensive beer on a boat moored at the edge is better than being in tourist town.

Excellent location near the river,trams and metro.Secondary glazing reduced traffic noise to zero but air con did not seem efficient.As a result we had to open a window at night to cool down as we were there during a very hot spell Otherwise could not fault this hotel.Staff are congenial,speak english and were never looking out for tipping. Breakfast was more than adequate and not a bun fight..All in, all would highly recommend it and certainly stay there again if we were to revisit Prague.

This was a great hotel. It was near all of the sights. You just gotta know how to navigate Prague. 5 great restaurants in within 5 blocks. Metro, Tram, and bus two blocks away. Secure parking, block away. True, some people didn't like that the restaurant and bar closed early, but there is a great outside sitting are at the end of the block. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I speak Czech which made it so much more easier, but staff does speak english, and they have everything in English, as well as in other languages. Rooms were big, the doubles. We had the two adjoining ones, and the look out over Nove Mesto was awesome. It was easy to book a room 2 weeks ahead and very reasonable. I'll definitely stay here again. My mom is going to Prague she's staying there as well.

The Best Western City Moran Hotel advertise as a four star hotel, but realy it is a three star hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Communications in English was perfect. Hotel location is good but I would say a 25-30 mins walk to Charles Bridge. The room I booked was a deluxe double bedroom but I can hardly say it was a deluxe room, I have stayed at Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, Hotel Arts of Barcelona, Tousserok of Mauritius, so I know when it comes to deluxe these hotels means deluxe. Overall pricewise I am satisfied.

The hotel staff were courteous and very competent. They did a great job of answering all or our questions even though we don't speak any Czech. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The daily breakfast that was included in the price included eggs, meat, breads and pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juice and coffee and was attractively presented. The only negative was the high price of phone calls and no pay phone in the hotel to help avoid those charges.

Incheckningen skulle vara 14.00, ett rum var klart det andra fick vi 1 timme senare och det tredje ca 3 timmar efter utlovad incheckning. I övrigt hade vi inget negativt om hotellet.

Hotellet upplevdes av oss, min sambo och jag, som prisvärt och ett bra ställe att övernatta på. Läget är inte helt centralt beläget men ändå välplacerat i förhållande till de vanligaste besöksmålen, Spårväg och tunnelbana finns på nära håll. Hotellet ger intryck av att vara välskött.

Vi er en familie på 5 som tilbragte 3 døgn i påsken 2012 på hotellet. Vi var meget begejstrede over dette hyggelige hotel. Værelserne og badeværelset med badekar var pæne og rene og indbydende. Der var elkedel med kaffe og the på værelset, samt et lille køleskab og tv. Udvalget i morgenmadsbuffen var fuldt ud tilfredsstillende og lokalet hygggeligt og pænt. I receptionen kunne vi lægge værdigenstande i en boks uden beregning, og en PC stod til fri afbenyttelse i receptionen. Vi parkerede i et parkeringshus 100 m fra hotellet, hvilket vi var helt trygge ved. Vi gik rundt til seværdighederne og det tog ca 15-20 min at gå til centrum og til karlsbroen. Vi var fuldt ud tilfredse med opholdet.
