Best Western Plus Austrian Chalet - كامبل ريفر

I was pleased overall, the improvement could have been ib room comfort. It is hot water heat , no thermostat and the valve to adjust was worn out. The view was worth it all.

This hotel was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The building looked a little bit run down, but it was in a nice location and easy to find.

Ok but had plumbing issue and hotel clerk seemed like she didn't care when I reported it and didn't even try to deal with it! Poor service on that part!

Very happy with our stay. Daughter loved the loft bedroom. Great breakfast.

One of the most comfortable beds in a hotel in a long time. Not rock hard. Great breakfast in a room with a view of the ocean with outside patio, weather permiting.

We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, the only disadvantage was no microwave available, however, they could have got one the following day for us.

It was too bad the hot tub and swimming pool were closed for renovations.

This motel did everything right. It has beautiful flower boxes hanging off of each balcony. They have great activities for families, miniature golf, ping-pong table, indoor pool. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, lots of variety, waffles, omlettes, sasauge, yogurt, hot and cold cereals, breads, muffins and pastries. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It is right across the street from the beach. We loved it.

It was rated as a 3.5 but compared to other 4 star motels I would give this one a 2.5 . Bed skirt ripped. not enough behind the bed to pass comfortably. Eating in the room was very uncomfortable. People were friendly. Close to downtown.

Place has obviously seen better times. Room certainly is not big enough for 2 queen beds. Made moving around, accessing the desk and balcony difficult. Breakfast room was first-class though.

great room smoking aloud on patio a major plus nowadays ! pub & bistro onsite for food in the evening and free breakfast was great . I will be back again !!!!

the best was the service we received from Selena at the front desk, she went above and beyond the call for myself and my husband who had come for surgery.

The hotel is gorgeous; the view is spectacular; the staff is very helpful and friendly; the breakfast is much more than expected and very delicious. We had a great stay in Campbell River.

room was aquard and had a real bad odor....explained odor to desk and she said she was sorry...we left early.

We were given two queen suites close to each other. The rooms were a wonderful surpirse as we slept in the loft and had the sitting room which overlooked the water and we were able to view the cruise ships. The facilities were excellent-breakfast buffett and pool area. Unfortunately the electircal plug for the bathroom did not work. So drying and curling hair was a chore-done in the living room with no mirror. There was no electrical plug in the kitchette for the coffee pot had to use the living room.

waking up to the smell cigarette smoke in a non smoking room is unexceptable ...being woken up by noisy neighbors also unexceptable..after staying there last year in a spotless room the lack cleanliness was an issue this year..I`m considering changing hotels for my next visit to campbell river

room had cobwebs in the corners, not enough towels (we specified 4 people staying, 2 towels provided) and the sound of running water in the walls.

Beautiful location across highway from the ocean and really enjoyed watching the crashing surf on the beach. Waffle breakfast was great!

Friendly staff, wish we had a view of the ocean, and the bathroom was not that clean. Would stay againand recommend because value and breakfast were good.

Initially, we thought our choice had been a disaster; our room reeked of cigarette smoke! Turns out, the outdoor 'smoke pit' was situated right below a window of our room! When we let hotel staff know that this just wouldn't do, they were great about extending to us the only room left in the house: a two story, 3 bedroom/3 bathroom full suite, a real blast from the past which had been very recently updated! It had been the manager's live-in family suite back in the day. On the whole, an extraordinary improvement for the original price of a single room.

This hotel is a great place for families. They offer a swimming pool, table tennis, and mini-golf to entertain us during the day. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast, which is included, is enjoyable. We sat outside, across from the beach, and enjoyed the view.

pretty much exactly what we expected. Staff was extremely hospitable, courteous and very helpful. Room was clean, if a little plain, and overall very reasonable value. Not a 5 star hotel but price appropriately. Would stay there again. Bryan

The service is good, it is clean and good location. the biggest problem with this room is the noise, there are no sound proofing. The breakfast is great and is included.

When I arrived the clerk greeted me by name even though we had not met ever. The service was great and I had a wonderful room with a jacuzzi tub which I had not requested so it was a pleasant surprise. As I had just finished travelling for 5 hours and had ran in a half marathon the previous Sunday it was just what the doctor ordered.

I recently sang in a concert in Campbell River and didn't want to drive back to Comox afterward, so my daughter and I stayed at the Best Western. It was really just a place to sleep and suited us quite well. It was clean and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. I would absolutely consider staying there again.

The hotel room was great - better then we expected from a 2.5 star. The hotel was extremely busy but the front desk was very good about accomodating everyone with efficiency and kindness. The pool and hot tub however, were very dirty, both inside and on the deck. The proximity to the core of Campbell river was great, and not too bad from Mt. Washington. Beautiful ocean views.

Stairs to and from the room were difficult. Views of Ocean and other amenities were very good. Rooms were clean and pleasant although a little small. Bathrooms were nice.

Great staff made this visit - but when checking in either ask for a room on the top floor or at least with no-one above you - the inter-floor sound inulation is not great and thoughtless guests can spoil a good night's rest. We needed only one bed and found the space taken by the second bed would have welcomed. The adjoining restaurant, not BW owned is more than adequate.

Nous avons eu la malchance de nous voir attribué une chambre bien mal placée, sans aucun horizon, alors que nous étions en bord de mer, que nous avions réservé depuis près de six mois, et qu'il y avait des chambres libres !!! Toutefois, chambre propre, mais petit déjeuner quelconque.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber man hat aber gemerkt, dass früher im Zimmer geraucht wurde. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut.

Würde jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft wählen.

ein bisschen Österreich wie man es sich in NA vorstellt. Anlage ist nett gelegen, vom Meer nur durch eine Verbindungsstrasse getrennt, Zimmer mit Balkon, für die Kids Minigolf und Tischtennisplatte..., wir hatten leider nur 1 Nacht eingeplant
