Best Western Joliet Inn & Suites - جولييت

OK place. Check in pleasant and room seemed clean except for carpet stains.. Climate controls worked, Marginal breakfast. BUT - room had an off odor and seemed dark. We had made our reservation on Holels.com. We needed to leave after one night rather than the reserved two. They could not credit the night because "only the manager" could do that. Took three phone calls for Hotels.com to get the correction. Also, the hotel was redoing the pool and the pool was being painted with a very strong solvent-based paint. It stunk up the whole main floor. Having worked with chemicals, I know it was the type that needed safety respirators - which the workmen did not have. My guess is they took the cheap bid. That work will be done very soon. My comment reflects the management issue.

In town for a family funeral and many of us stayed here because of its convenience. The staff could not have been more accommodating to our family. From placing us in neighboring rooms, to leaving breakfast available to our group, to repeatedly offering to help us in any way ..... this is not the level of customer service we expected from a highway exit chain hotel. Kudos to the management!

I am disappointed with hotels.com! I am usually very happy with my reservations, but this time...not so much! The information indicated that ALL rooms had a jetted tub. This was totally incorrect. That was the main reason I chose to stay at this hotel. In general the hotel was okay, but there were problems with the room feeling damp and musty. The hot water didn't get very hot and the toilet ran incessantly. When I asked for maintenance they told me to just lift the lid and push the stopper down. I don't expect to have to fix running toilets at a hotel!!

The hotel looked good but once inside our room the musty/moldy smell was a little much, had to take antihistamines so I could breathe through my nose. The room could use a good cleaning particularly the carpet. Breakfast was good the staff were pleasant and the location was convenient.

The room smelled like smoke and there were issues with the hot water in the shower.

Whenever we go back to Joliet, we usually stay at the comfort inn but it was booked this time. I was pleasantly surprised by best western. Only problem we had was they had a problem with the phone system and we did not receive our AM wakeup call.

We recently stayed at the Best Western in Joliet , IL and were very satisfied with the rate and cleanliness of the entire hotel including the room, pool and lobby. We would definitely stay there again.

The beds were super comfortable, the staff was eager to help. Would have been great at twice the price.

Great place, very clean, pool and exercise area. Continental breakfast too. Will stay there again.

Nice hotel, however older than others around. Service was excellent. If you just wanted to shop great location

The hotel staff was quite friendly and helpful. Our initial issue with their Wi-Fi was efficiently resolved and was a result of my error, not theirs. The bathrooms and bedding were spotless...a most welcome bit of cleansliness not often found in 2-3 star loging. And...no cigarette smoke smell anywhere! Our only negative comment pertains to the "floors". Growing up in the Midwest, most structures are built robustly for obvious reasons. We were awakened both mornings (early, at 0500) by the hotel guest in the room directly above us. Interestingly, the resonance of their footsteps seemed completely within norm...in other words, they weren't stomping around and purposely making noise. It simply appeared that in their normal course of getting up and about that the impact of their steps carried...hence my floors comment. Our room on the 2nd floor, and theirs on the 3rd really seemed to have floors that were somewhat less robust than anticipated...so prepare for unwelcome noise from a room above yours by an unwitting lodger not trying to ruin your morning...its just the way the floors are built! Overall, a solid 2 to 3 star overnight for our visit to Joliet...and no cigarette smoke smell anywhere!! FYI: I'm a commercial pilot and lodge in hotels almost 150 nights a year...just to establish review credibility.

The room was clean and comfortable. Pool was beautiful, although we did not swim. Breakfast had great amount of selection - including waffles, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, pastries, cereals. We would definitely stay here again!

This is by far not a fancy hotel but it was great for our purposes. We were in the area for a friends birthday party and needed the hotel to sleep for the night. The room was clean with a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The breakfast was a little lacking but there are plenty of places nearby that you could have breakfast.

People were all super and made me feel welcome. Lots of personal care from staff. Pool and hot tub were very clean.

The manager bent over backwards to make things right when our A/C didn't work.

there were a few pieces of food and beer caps behind the fridge and the couch. other then that, we were very happy with this hotel!!! we were even upgraded to a suite for the same price. thank you soooo much!!! the manager when we first arrived was above and beyond what we exptected, very polite and making sure we were doing fine. he even had our rooms cleaned earlier and let us in. we were more then happy with our stay and the staff!!!!! thank you all sooooo much!!!!

Clean comfortable room, decent breakfast, would stay there again.

Decent hotel. Reserved 1 bedroom suite. Okay room and bed. Reservation said jetted tub which we did not get. Got on sale so good price for the quality of the room. Okay for travelers, restaurants nearby but not on site. Nothing great, but certainly a good value.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with our stay at htis Best Western. Very clean and neat. Larry at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Overall a great value.

If you are looking for something that is walking distance to shopping, dining, etc. this is not the place. But it is only about a 15 minute drive to get there. Otherwise, the pool area is nice and clean and so are the rooms. Staff was very friendly!

This hotel is very clean. The swimming pool looked refreshing. The breakfast was typical of a free hotel breakfast; it was nothing special. We went to the McDonald's which was within walking distance. My only complaint is that check in was very slow. No one else was checking in at the time, but it took over 10 minutes for me to check in. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Good price. Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Would stay there again.

Would recommend the stay at the hotel. Was not happy with the hotel restaurant. Was seated for dinner at 5:15 and we were given our checks and paid at 7:15. Service was very slow. It should not take 2 hours for dinner. The place was not busy and we should have been finished sooner than that The free breakfast the next morning was very good and the stay overall was pleasant.

We do Civil War Reenacting and it was 6 miles from where the reenactment took place. We were comfortable in our rooms, plenty of hot water for everyone, clean rooms. Noone is a big breakeast eater so the kitchen thy had sat up was just fine for us. Rates were reasonable

When we checked in the front desk staff was very nice but surprised we got the Presidentail Suite for such a reasonable rate. It is normally almost twice the price we got with Hotels.ca. The room was a good size, however, in very poor state of repair and was not nearly as clean as we would have liked. When we went to use the pull out couch for our kids we found that the previous guests had simply left all the used bed linens in a ball inside the fold up portion. Obviously it hadn't been cleaned. We brough this to the attention to the front desk staff and they quickly got us clean sheets and blanket. The pool was nice, especially at the end of a long day's travel.
