Positano Art Hotel Pasitea - بوسيتانو

Could not speak more highly of the Hotel, location or helpfullness and friendliness of the staff. My room was exceptional as was the view from it.I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nothing was a problem.

Fantastic location, very central. Hotel was nice, reception staff very helpful - restaurant staff not as helpful/approachable. Breakfast buffet selection poor.

The hotel is in a good spot and is easy to find if you're driving. The hotel offers parking however it seems you can park on the street for less (assuming you can find a spot). Its an easy walk down to the beach, although somewhat steep and you're better to catch the bus back up the hill just make sure you get off at the turnoff back to Positano. The bus ride is one way up to Nocelle not a circular route. We bought some prosecco and cheese and sat on our balcony overlooking the sea in the afternoon which was fabulous. Lonely planet has some good recommendations for restaurants. We ate at Da Vincenzo which was excellent.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The view was great. The room was very clean. The hotel staff was very helpful.I would recommend this hotel. The only issues I saw was the balcony area .There were only plants that separated my balcony from the next. You could see into your neighbor's room from the balcony as there was no real dividers between the rooms. You had to be careful that no one could see you undressing in your room. The hotel needs to put some screens in to protect their customers privacy. The next issue that I noted was they charged you for a cappuccino in the morning. They were the only hotel that did that during our travels in Italy. It seemed a little cheap.They did have a hot water heater with instant coffee in the rooms, so I guess that was their tradeoff.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service was excellent -friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.

We had romantic trip to Italy in February-March and stayed in this hotel for 5 days. We like this hotel. The breakfasts were just perfect for 4 star hotel! Every morning we had fresh and tasty cappuccino :) The girl who served us was always smiling, friendly and impeccable! Managers from reception desk were very helpful !!! They advised nice restaurants and beautiful places to visit. I am thankful them for their service! Our room was big and clean. We had our own balcony with amazing view to seaside of Positano!!! Only some minuses, that we had broken hair dryer and a maid didn't pay attention to it. When we asked to put pillows on chairs on balcony on our first day, nobody put them till the end of our staying. However I think this minuses are nothing comparing with BIG pluses which we had while we were in this hotel!!!

The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants. The hotel has a beautiful view. There is about a 20 minute walk down to the beach, but plenty of shops to visit on your way down. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was great, we are planning to go back in summer. Tony and Emanuela treated us as family.

Breathtaking views from the large terraces

Loved the deck and views. The room was clean and up to date. The bed was comfortable. I would spend the extra cash and get a taxi to this hotel as the bus is difficult with luggage and does not annouce where you are so, many people missed their stop. The service was attentive and caring, the breakfast was fine. The shower could use some mold killer as the mold was bad. As you can read in the reviews, the shower is tiny but; if you a medium sized or smaller person you will fit fine. This is a great destination hotel for a reasonable price. I liked this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The man at the reception was very friendly, breakfast was pretty decent and we had a little balcony that had the most magnificent view. It could have used parking that was a bit cheaper, but overall I would definitely recommend it. And the room was massive!

The location was average but we got what we paid for. Service was the issue which let the property down, particularly at the reception desk. The staff were unprofessional and lazy. We were suprised as the other hotels which we visited and dined at in Positano provided service well above the Pasitea standard.

We found the hotel Pasitea to be very nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat. The hotel location is a bit of a hike but the local bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The balcony, while very small, provides enough space for two and offers a great view. The only thing we would have liked offered would have been a shuttle service upon arrival and departure. You either have to catch the bus with all your luggage or pay for a taxi. Leaving, you pay 5-8 euros per bag to have them waiting for you at the bottom.

Stay was great. The staff was helpful and courteous. We has a great terrace and a gorgeous view. 2 of the 3 restaurants were right on. The 3rd was good but felt rushed. The hotel is right in front of the interna Positano bus stop. Doesn't get much easier then that. The only thing negative would be the wifi was a little flaky.

Our stay at Hotel Pasitea was wonderful. Our room (#20) was amazing - best room I have ever stayed in! Tony & Antonio at the front desk were great - very personable and helpful and saying goodbye to them was hard. The location was beautiful and we had a great time. Only downfall was the breakfast - they say you get what you pay for. Breakfast was free and very disappointing (the food was dry and not tasty - glad there was bread for toast!), and the young ladies working were unfriendly.

The room was just big enough. The bed was not the most comfortable and the room seemed a little dirty compared to the fancier places we stayed on our trip. However with that said this hotel is a good deal in pricey Positano. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak very good English. They were helpful with reservations and taxis. Beware it is a 20 minute walk to the beach and it is even long coming back but that is Positano. Positano is a beautiful town and this hotel is a good deal for the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Hotel Pasitea. Our room was very nice with a lovely view from our balcony. The hotel staff was wonderful ~ and in particular we would have to recognize Antonio~who went above and beyond to assure that we found great places to eat and that we didn't have any problems getting to see an do everything on our "wish list" during our stay.

The staff were extemely helpful. Tony the Manager was a great help. If you let him help you book you into restuarants make sure you go to the one that is homegrown food.

Our room was very comfortable, bright and clean--nice towels and linens, and the mattress was plusher than most others we slept on in Italy. The art was a little weird, but the tile was lovely. We loved our little balcony and view of the water. Driving into town we had no idea what we were looking for (forgot to print a Google map), but it was right on the main road. We practically ran into it. We left our car out front to unload, and the man at the desk took care of the parking. (We knew from the website that parking would be expensive--budget some extra for that!) The hotel is a fairly long downhill walk to the beach and the main part of town, but the views along the way almost make you forget how far you are going and what all those stairs are doing to your knees. The circuit bus goes right by the hotel, so no worries about climbing back UP those stairs. The best thing about the hotel for us was the help from staff members, especially the next morning when we were leaving. The concierge recommended a restaurant way up the hill (Taglitea), told us how to get there, and even showed us a photo from the previous night when he'd dined with his wife. It was everything he said it would be, "like the Mama cooking!" We are vegetarians, and we didn't even have to look at a menu--we told the waiter and he just kept bringing us wonderful plates of vegetables and pasta. We had a very short time to stay in Positano, and directions about getting around town, using the bus, where to go, etc., were spot on and made our trip very enjoyable.

Everything was even better than all the great reviews I read'. Tony us so helpful and gracious I'm coming back in a few days for more beautiful views and sunshine!! A bit challenging to get to but that's par for the region with steep and harrowing driving

The hotel staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. Continental breakfast was good. The room was spacious, bathroom a little small. We had a balcony that was over the small street which was not as quiet and private as we would have liked although the view was spectacular. Ask for a room away from street

A lovely hotel, well positioned with plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Clean and comfortable, but the breakfasts leave a little to be desired, and the desk staff could be a bit friendlier. All said, well worth the rate paid for this quality of hotel.

service was fantastic, very friendly. but rooms could use some work -- our shower was tiny, I could barely fit in it. air conditioning was not very effective, and only went on when we were in the room. would not og back because of the room situation, despite finding the staff very friendly.

WE WERE A FAMILY OF 4 WITH 2 TEENAGERS AND WE ALL FIT IN THE FAMILY ROOM. WE HAD A LARGE JACUZZI AND A HUGE BALCONY! TONY AT THE DESK WAS WONDERFUL! HE BOOKED A GREAT RESTAURANT FOR DINNER AND IT INCLUDED A FREE SHUTTLE. THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE AND THE HOTEL IS WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE BEACH. WE WOULD GO BACK FOR SURE! WE LOVED THIS HOTEL!

We had two rooms, our kids, took the one with the big terrace, with lounges, and had a beautiful view of the water. Ours was smaller, but we were ok with it, as we wanted to be next to the kids. However ask for the big terrace rooms. Being its on a hill, about half way up, or less, we had to walk down to get places, which really was not bad at all. The staff, was so so helpful, making reservations, for us, recommending places to eat, shop, go. Positano is such a beautiful place, and this was a great place to see it from.

great location, you better get in great shape, which we did, to tackle all of the stairs in this town, wonderful workout. nearly 500 steps down to the beach. many stairs are shortcuts to the next road below you. an easy 15 -20 minute walk to town, many places to eat nearby and best of all, a laundry mat about 150 feet from the hotel, perfect....cost you 12 euros to wash and dry your clothes, or pay extra about 20 euros and they will do it for you.

This place was a fantastic place to stay. The front desk guys (Tony and Anthony) were very helpful, and their recommendations for dinner were excellent (our favorite was a small restaurant "up the hill" from the hotel that picked us up in a van. Sorry, I can't remember the name). The view from our room was amazing. Positano and the Amalfi Coast are one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. The only negatives I could mention was the firmness of the bed and the small shower, but that seems to be a very common thing in Italy. Oh, and definitely heed their advice - walk down to the marina and then take the bus back to the hotel. We walked up the stairs from the marina a couple of times, and it was a good workout!

We highly recommend this hotel. The views of the coast were stunning. The location was convient and the staff very helpful. The bus stop was in front of the hotel, and several fine restaurants within walking distance.

Great location with better views than the higher priced hotels down closer to all the shops. Easy access to get to shops with a bus, but enjoyed walking down and back up again. Friendly people and a decent breakfast was included.

This is a lovely hotel. It is very close to the bus stop which was great for me as I was travelling eight months pregnant (also great for my husband as he had to carry my luggage!). Lovely sea views and close to some lovely restaurants. Far from the beach (if you can't walk down the stairs like me) but there is a cheap local bus to drive you around everywhere. All the people that work there are very friendly and very helpful. We both really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely hotel xx

Staff was attentive, breakfast was delicious, location was excellent, view was breathtaking, price was reasonable....Need I go on? Get on the first plane to Italy and book your room here. You will never want to leave. PR, New Jersey

Our room on the 4th floor opened onto a patio with table, chairs, loungers and overlooked the Mediterranean or Tyrranean or whatever Sea flows along the Amalfi Coast. Breathtaking view, incredible weather, helpful and fun staff, wonderful buffet breakfast. Great recommendations for dinners out, comfortable and very clean rooms. I can't say enough about the beauty of this area and the helpfullness of the staff. They saw to our every whim. I'd go back again and again. In fact, I'm planning another trip in June, 2012. Life is GOOD!

The room was small but very comfortable. Our small balcony had a great view. We really enjoyed having a hot water kettle and coffee and tea in the room. The hotel is hard to find but in a great area for walking around the convoluted streets of Positano. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

Everything about this hotel was pitch perfect from the friendly staff to the breath taking views of the cliffside and the sea below. The hotel is situated a little distance from the town center but it affords the traveler a little bit of exercise on the winding road down to the beach...this is a small town so staying in the heart of it would leave little to discover but the locale of the hotel enables you to miss nothing since you have to pass everything to get to the center...highly recommend it.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Our room opened up onto a balcony which looked out to the sea. The view was spactacular !! Breakfast was ample and, even though we were probably one of the only 3 rooms filled over Christmas night, the staff was there for us with smiles and great service.

This hotel is worth the price. It is in a great location. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms very nice, though small. There is a balcony with a view though once again small. I definitely would stay at this hotel again if I am lucky enough to get back to the area.

Great experience, hotel is well located in Positano, reasonably close to the center and main beach (approximately 500 steps). Hotel is well kept, clean, has friendly and helpful staff. Overall a good experience.

Hotel was well presented , the only issue was the aircon seemed to have some problem so we were rather hot during our stay ( June 2010) . Location was further away than we thought from the main beach but walking down was not a problem . To get back up to the hotel there is a small bus ride ( 1.50 euro) but these can be crowded and waiting can be 20-30 mins. There lots of restaurants nearby to the hotel so you don't have to walk down to the bottom if you don't want to. The hotel has some nice rooms with big balconies ( ask for floor 3) .The view is of the second bay in Positano not the main beach area but still very pleasant. Good value hotel for what we paid.

Huone jonka saimme oli pieni, parvekkeelle mahtui vain pieni pyöreä pöytä ja 2 tuolia. Ihmettelimme mihin aurinkotuolit levittää jotka oli nostettu seinää vasten. Niitä ei olisi voinut levittää. Ekan yön jälkeen menimme kysymään missä poreamme joka luvattu, vastaus oli että huoneeseen ei kuulu sitä. Lisämaksusta sen kyllä saamme. Saimme hotellin parheimman sviitin jossa tämä oli. Siellä oli silti samat huono sänky, kova tyyny ja päiväpeite peittona. Sviitti oli kyllä kaunis ja iso. Henkilökunta mukavaa jne.
