to much money for what you get. Parking is not very good.

Aggravated by charges for wi Fi, water etc Put it in teh room charge and do not nickel and dime folks.

The staff treated us to a bottle of champagne and chocolates when they found out we were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary. We also stayed here on our wedding night and our one year anniversary Very kind and considerate of them!

Overall this is an excellent hotel with a very friendly staff, a great location (right on the waterfront close to the fisherman's market and close to Pike's Market). The hotel's restaurant has a wonderful breakfast but a little costly (about $25/person). Also excellent valet parking service (but again costly at about $46/night including taxes). Overall, we would rate this hotel excellent. However, we had three rooms as we were there with our two sons and their families. However, the second day we were there, when we came back in the evening, theyn had give away the room of one of our sons to another party even though we had it reserved. Since all three rooms were reserved under my name and credit card, our son and wife had to wait until we got back to the hotel to resolve the problem. They stated that since the maid saw nothing of ours in the room, they assumed we had checked out. We had been at his wedding and he took his things with him to change at the wedding site which was a 2-hour drive from the hotel. Finally got him another room, fortunately at no extra cost. But this was certainly a fiasco and I had to show them my reservation documents to convince them we had it reserved for that day and night also.

Updated decor, comfy bed with lots of pillows, friendly professional staff. Free coffee in the am before the cafe opened and water available in the lobby - nice touch and welcome after all that walking on Seattle sidewalks. We had room service and ordered the chicken and sun dried tomato BLT. It came with a hot house tomato - new menu they said - but I didn't get what I ordered from the menu. I spent sometime on the loungers by the pool - stained and needed cleaning. I would stay here again but mostly due to the location.

great location. very close to pikes market and the bay which was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel for first time.

This is a four star hotel. At least that is what the ratings say and the price reflects. However, other than a very nice lobby and upgraded room furnishings, I tend to disagree. 1. The walls are paper thin: I could hear conversations from not only the hallway but also the room next door. Not just voices, the actual conversation. And this was at normal speaking levels. I was also awoken each morning to the sound of water running down a waste water pipe in the wall right next to my bed. 2. Add on expenses: $11 for continental breakfast? Close to $20 for anything else? $13 a day for internet? I won't even quote the parking rate. Most of the added expenses are amenities that are included in less expensive hotels. Why does it cost extra to stay at a hotel where special features have an additional expense. 3) Parking: I was aware that parking was going to cost. I knew that it was going to cost more than other places around Seattle. It was funny to hear the valet ask, as I pulled up, if I wanted to hear the rates before I left my car with him and to see the look on his face as he said it. I would guess that parking has been a sore subject with patrons in the past. I was glad to not have to worry about my car or parking during my stay. In all, I knew most of this when I booked the room. My stay was based on location. That was the most important part of my decision and I was not disappointed about that.

Awesome place. Perfect location. Suggest water view. You will not regret it!

Could not have been more pleased with the staff, the cleanliness, the comfort, etc. Overall gave 4 because after I upgraded online to a "harborview" room for additional $30, I then found out that for a second floor room, this is actually a view of the space where all of the airconditioner / heating units / large square metallic vents open onto a weedy / non-trafficed pavilion. NOT so glad I paid extra for that view; I could see a little of the harbor beyond there. If you ask for harborview, get a higher floor.

Air-conditioning was noisy and no internet . Price is too high.

Really enjoyed our stay. Close/walking distance to waterfront activities. Pike's Market, Seattle Aquarium, Ferris Wheel & lots of dining opportunities.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. Very nice hotel in a really good location. On the downside we were put in a wheelchair accessible room, don't mind but the shower head is very low and a bit of a pain. All in all, very nice hotel and staff.

The hotel and service was great. The parking was expensive. It was close to Pike Place so there was plenty to see and eat close by. I would stay there again!

The stay was great. The location was awesome! The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a courtesy bottle of wine and strawberries and whip cream for our anniversary. More spendy than surrounding hotels, and they only use valet which is $38 a day plus tips. so add on another $50 after you figure how much your room is. We got the waterfront king, but Im sure the other rooms are just as good for $80 less. The view was okay, but nothing spectacular. We will stay here again, next time we will find a cheeper way to park and try a non waterview room.

The hotel was beautiful I had the waterfront view. But, the charges are crazy. I am paying 200+ for a room one would think Wi-Fi, parking, and botte water are free. Not in this case I paid $38 for parking that is located on their property. I can say the service was excellent.

We had a water view room. Had a great view of the harbor. Room was very comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. The location was perfect, many restaurants within walking distance. Pikes Market was just up the hill. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this hotel!

After staying at the more trendy boutique style hotels this place was a disappointment. They charge you for every little thing. Not a fun experience

The facilities & room where very nice, but the stay was VERY noisey: trains all night, early morning garbage trucks, noisey neighbors after a night on the town, & heating system in the room was loud.

Could not have been better superb in every way.

We arrived at the restaurant just as the lunch menu was being introduced but asked if there was any way we could have the crab benedict. They were more than happy to accomodate us!

Hotel was great but the beds were uncomfortable.

Hotel was great! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Went to the Edgewater Hotel for dinner one night and it was awful compared to the Marriott.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Very nice room, pool and lobby. Great location to port and ferry. Steps from Pike's Place Market.

The hotel was nice, great view, The people were very friendly; but sort of disappointed that we had to pay a high parking fee when staying right there. I was also disappointed that there was no courtesy breakfast. I paid good money for a nice hotel that didn't have any perks; to have to pay $37 parking fee, no breakfast and had to pay for internet as well....

I had a waterfront king room, and I loved the view! Definitely worth the upgrade. This is a Marriott, but for a chain I do appreciate the Chihuly glass they worked into the design to reflect locality. I also think this location is phenomenal. The bed was comfy & the room was quiet. (Very important to me.) The only downsides were the lack of an iPod docking alarm and the TERRIBLE cheeseburger I ordered from room service. It was about a half hour later than it was supposed to be getting to my room, and judging by the state of it, I think that time was spent under a heat lamp. Other than that everything was great and I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

We stayed in a 2 double bed room w view of water. Room was not a full view of water, it appears the full view rooms are only king beds. The room was very clean and well put together. We paid quite a bit for this luxurious room and were left disappointed. It was a standard hotel room with a little nicer decoration. All in all the room was a great hotel room, but for the price we paid not worth it. On the plus side, Starbucks is just a few steps out of the hotel front door. We also learned to call your own Yellow Cab, its much cheaper than the cabs the hotel has waiting for you. I would stay here again, if the price was right.

This was our 3rd time staying at the Marriott Waterfront and we just love it. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room service was always prompt. The room was clean for the most part. There were a few things that I wish would have been a little cleaner, for instance the remote control to the TV was a dirty. I had to clean it up before we could use it. And the inside of the drawers had crumbs. Just little things like that. Not deal breakers, but for the price I expect spotless. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. The location is prime. Right along the waterfront. There was all kinds of shops within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice pool and hot tub, great view from the room, two minute walk to Pike place market, across the street to the aquarium and piers, 5 min cab to the stadium and train station.....only drawback was the ability of other rooms to see into yours if the curtains are open....other than that...GREAT

We were extremely happy with the location of the hotel. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance.

The location of the hotel was great. The room was perfect, we had a great view of the bay. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Everything was great except, I thought it was cheap that the hotel would place a bottle of water in the room and you would assume it's a comp and then read in very small print that $3.50 would be charged to your room. It leaves a bad taste. Poor taste, and it's deceptive. Please tell the hotel to stop. It makes the hotel look cheap.
