San Clemente Palace Hotel & Resort - البندقية

Terrific hotel.The problems that I see are: Very expensive for food and dinks( ie.my wife and I had a dinner, mains only and one drink each, just a beer and a red wine, came to 98euro) Room services closes at 1am, no tea or coffee making facilities in room, so if you wake up at 3am and want a coffee, too bad, wait for breakfast. Menu's did not change for the 5 nights we were on the Island, breakfast very boring and the same everyday. However in saying that the hotel is stunning, staff are very good, grounds are stunning and the shuttle service to San Marco and return ran on time all the time ( Two boats ). Also stated in the promo material that smoking rooms were available, they ae not.

This is a lovely hotel on its' own private island with a fantastic speed boat service to San Marco - the rooms are spacious, clean and well serviced. the hotel Concierge is excellent and they will help you organise almost anything from dinner at the finest restaurants to a private water taxi to the airport, very discreet, with 5 star service. Outdoor pool not open till Spring, also outdoor restaurant wasn't open till Spring. Bar Menu not fantastic, but adequate! Overall would definitely return.

over priced for food,drink,lunch, dinner perhaps due to location and a semi-captive audience - however, well serviced by a shuttle water bus which travels every 20minutes to san marco square. we stayed in a standard room and perhaps they need a better description as it was fine, great staff, pool and grounds. the hotel is a converted monastrey which architecturally is so not a hotel! but would return. reasons = venice; venice in summer ideal for a hotel with a pool; great staff and rooms (suggest tea/coffee making facility as you find in asia/usa).

Good hotel away from the bustle of Venice with nice pool - buffet breakfast was good. Food to buy for lunch and dinner was expensive

Very nice hotel and resort but too expensive to eat there. It also took us awhile to find out how to get to the hotel. We asked the people selling tickets for the water bus how to get there and no one knew. It took us 3 hours to finally find out where to get off the water bus and how to get to the island.

It was nice to get away from the crowds of Venice, yet be so close by (the complimentary boat service wonderful and convenient). A beautiful hotel, on the grounds of an old monestary. Well worth looking into for future visits to Venice.

Booked at the San Clemente hotel for my wifes 30th birthday. We were recommended it by some friends who gave it rave reviews. Could it live up to high expectations......yes! From the moment we arrived they made us feel welcome. This is a leading hotel and you can tell the staff want to keep it that way. It is so peacefull there away from the hussle and bussle of Venice. Room was spotless, not massive but we were only in the standerd room. Breakfast was ample and tasty. Spa with 2 x Jacuzzi, turkish bath and sauna was again spotless and like new. (only niggle was opening times of 12pm-7pm so couldnt use on last day.) The free shuttle boat back and fore makes sure you arrive at San Marcos square in style. There was an out door pool, tennis courts and a little pitch and putt but we did not use these. On my wifes birthday they left a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries in our room with a personal card with compliments of San Clemente, What a classy touch from a great hotel. We are glad that we paid a bit extra to get a hotel like this. Thanks again to all the staff at the San Clemente Palace. We willl be back.

I spent three days in the hotel San Clemente Palace and thought it was great. This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel was all I could have asked for. The location is magical and the water taxi from the airport was a great way to arrive. The shuttle service to and from St Mark's Square is great-it was lovely to hop onto the Hotel's boat and be whisked away from te heat and bustle of St Mark's back to the sanctuary of the Hotel's private island. The Hotel restaurant is fantastic, with dinner served under the stars in the square in front of the island's private chapel looking across the lagoon to the lights of Venice. Don't forget to wear mosquito repellent! I found the food and service great, although I did hear some other guests complaining that the service was poor for a restaurant of that calibre. For me the only area of disappointment was the food in the pool area. It was ok but very expensive. The cheapest thing on the menu was a caesar salad for Eur 20. The salad was lettuce with croutons and a very mediocre dressing. I thought the main restaurant was good value because of the quality and the location, but the casual dining let the hotel down.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful pool area to relax after doing the cukture bit in the morning. Drinks and meals very expensive, we skipped breakfast and ate in Venice after the first night. The restaurant is the only let down, it should be much better for the price and location. Would definately go back.

The hotel itself was very nice, but it does not have services that you would expect for a hotel isolated on its own island (like a shop where one can buy toiletries, or somewhere to buy local currency with a credit card.) I booked it because I thought I might need a quiet respite if Venice got too hot or crowded for my daughter, but in retrospect I would stay in the middle of things next time.

Super hotel de luxe avec piscine jacusi sale de sport et meme un golff 3 trous(pas un mini golf....) Super service pour un prix raissonable pour venise 210 euro la nuit avec petit dejeuner buffet tres tres bien. 12 minute de navette gratuite depuis la place saint marc dans un bateau en bois tres sympat. c'est mon troisieme sejour dans cet hotel toujours aussi bien.

Très bel hôtel pour séjour reposant, emplacement execptionnel et navettes gratuites toutes les 20 minutes pour retrouver le centre ville. Seul bémol pour ce palace, wifi payant dans les chambres!

hotel parfait en tout point de vue: situation sur une ile à 7 mn en navette-bateau de San Marco, acceuil extra, personnel discret mais efficace, chambre magnifique , cadre somptueux avec piscine au milieu des jardins, petit-déjeuner pantagruélique. Mérite son 5 * luxe. Je ne rêve que d'une chose: y retourner...

Fantastiskt hotell med väldigt trevlig personal och fantastiska miljöer. Jättebra och smidig båtservice till och från hotellet från markusplatsen var 20:e minut. Underbar mat i matsalen och även frukostbuffen.

- viel zu wenig u. gestresstes Personal - Preis/Leistung stimmt beim Essen/Trinken überhaupt nicht. - Lage, Einrichtung, Gestalltung u. Infrastruktur des Hotels sind spektakulär - trotzdem ist die Stimmung unfreundlich - Pool-Anlage ungenügend

O San Clemente e magnifico, localizado em uma ilha a frente da San Marco, para entra e sair deve usar o barco do hotel que sai a cada 20 minutos, o que torna ainda mais agradavel a estadia em Veneza, sem duvida um dos se nao o melhor hotel de Veneza. Nao se importa com o fato de na fica propriamente em Veneza o chater funciona muito bem!

Super cadre acceuil top Hôtel de rêve Avons diné un soir au restaurant. Cuisine pas suffisamment raffinée pour le lieu. Wi fi gratuit serait un plus

très bon hôtel à conseiller un petit bémol sur le restaurant, mais franchement leurs lasagnes (aubergines et chocolat) ne sont vraiment pas une réussite. Manque d'info sur la composition du mets.

個人的にはすごく好きなホテルなので、今回も宿泊しましたが、風が強く、海が荒れていたので、ホテルまでのシャトルや水上タクシーがものすごく揺れて、かなり気持ち悪かったです。 こちらのホテルは、暖かい季節にゆっくりと滞在するのがオススメです。

tout a été parfait sauf un bémol : l'hotel étant situé sur une ile, on est obligé de prendre la navette de l'hotel (gratuite) pour aller et revenir à la place st marc (10 min environ). Un soir où il pleuvait à torrent, nous étions 45 personnes environ à attendre le bateau vers 22h, 30 minutes d'attente, 36 places dispo sur le bateau, un dizaine de personne laissées sous la pluie à attendre la navette 45 minutes après... inacceptable pour un hotel 5 étoiles qui aurait pu soit mettre à disposition une autre navette (ils en ont 5), soit appeler un bateau taxi pour ramener tout le monde. Ceci aurait évité 45 minutes d'attente sous la pluie. D'où un 4/5 pour la Qualité du service hôtelier et pour la note globale.
