Days Inn Philadelphia Convention Center - فيلادلفي

Hotel is located next to Philadelphia Convention Center and within walking distance to museums and historical sights. We got a first floor room for disabled which was a little bigger than a typical room but the central AC unit was just outside the window so the noise was also above average. Continental breakfast was VERY basic as was the entire hotel.

Walked into the hotel. Man behind the desk was on the phone. There was no parking outside of the hotel to unload your belongings. I had to wait for almost five minutes before the gentleman helped me! I asked where the parking for the hotel was. It was over four blocks away! We walked our luggage the whole way! There was nothing wrong with the cleanness of the room. Our room was right next to the elevator. This was horrible! It was very loud! The walls were very thin! We could hear every word of the people in the room next to us. The hotels parking only gave a discount for 24 hours. Two days cost $46. Everything was easily accessible. Within walking distance. Overall the stay was average. We would seek another hotel if we came back in the future.

It was clean and convenient. Didn't have time to do the included breakfast since we were headed out to do a 5K Sunday a.m. The only odd thing was that the rooms had windows that faced the hallway. i thought that was weird. The shower was a little wonky, you couldn't just have the tub running, it was both or neither. But it was fine for basic needs.

Very satisfied with hotel. Great location. Would stay there again. There was no iron or ironing board in the room but readily available from the front desk. Staff helpful regarding SEPTA transit system.

The staff was very friendly and polite!

Way overpriced, not in a good section of town, no parking, people screaming all night. The heat doesn't work and shower leaked water everywhere. I should have stayed at the homeless shelter next door.

The hotel is very small and poorly located right next to the men's homeless shelter. The staff would have friends coming in and out at all times of the night to talk to so it was very loud. The police had to be called because of a noise disturbance in the room across the hall but did nothing about it. The beds felt more like you were sleeping on a box spring rather than a mattress. There was blood stains on a pillow and cigarette burns on the blankets. Overall this place was just plain bad. I checked out at 7am just so I could get some sleep. Spend the extra money on somewhere else, trust me!

The positive up front - I got a good price, they allowed me to check in early, since I was coming off an over-night bus. A short walk from the subway trip, and a clean room. However, the plumbing didn't work well - no water out of the shower, and the toilet didn't flush. Some of this was fixed, but not in a timely manner. Internet only worked for five minutes at a time. The room had a mirror facing onto an internal hallway only, no outdoor window. And the biggest joke was the "continental buffet" which was literally some old muffins and some cornflakes in disposable bowls... Just call it "snacks", don't insult people... Would it be so expensive to bring some fresh bagels and cream cheese at least?

Room was too small

Room was to small and why would there be a window facing the hallway. Anybody could see in the room. Plus there are many homeless peoples outside the front .

We didn't expect a lot as we needed to cut costs, but we were pleased with the very helpful staff and the cleaning the room received each day. We felt safe and nights were usually quiet. The breakfasts (cereal, muffins, fruit juice, coffee) were good and supplies were refilled often, reducing the cost of the stay. While the blankets were worn (had some holes) they were clean and the TV, showers, etc. were in good order. The room layout was awkward but the only real negative was the filter on the fan needed to be replaced (lots of allergens emitted). We would stay there again!

The bed was so uncomfortable that we checked out a day early to avoid staying there another night.

Handy location. Good price, includes breakfast.

Hotel was pretty much what you would expect for a budget hotel. The night I was there the heat was minimal. An extra blanket would have been welcome but not there. I would stay again, but make sure the heat was working

The overall experience was okay. The room was clean and the location was right across the street from the convention center. One thing I didn't like was that there was no parking . I had to pay 32 dollars to park for 24 hours. What I did like was its location close to the center of the city since I was there to tour the city. The breakfast that they serve wasn't good at all. The room was very small but the people working at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was a last minute booking so all in all it served its purpose as a place to lay my head and rest.

The Days Inn is located on the street behind the Convention Center - very convenient to Reading Terminal Market as well. You should park your car in one of the nearby garages first because there is no parking at the entrance of the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There is a wall thermostat to set the temperature. There is no closet, just a garment rack. No extra blanket for the bed. A continental breakfast is available each morning, cold foods except for toast and coffee. The milk and juices were not replenished often enough. Overall, I would return for another 1- or 2-night stay.

-Very convenient to Penn Convention Center and public transportation (so the premium rates); elevator inspection out of date; facecloth from previous guest left in bathroom; couldn't adjust thermostat, rather cool, no extra blankets :( ; no windows to outside, only to indoor hallway;

I booked the hotel at the last minute, and for $79 dollars you cannot complain to much about the place. It was pretty clean but the layout was pretty awkward.

It was close to the gallery mall, reading market and the subway station . The staff was very Helpful. I'd stay there again .

This is an absolutely miserable place to stay. Firstly, the hotel is next to a homeless shelter for men, with lots of shifty characters outside the hotel at all hours of the night. The rooms was extremely uncomfortable, loud, small, and hard to get a good night sleep. And this for $130/night? Please, do yourself and favor and find something else. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Nice hotel, but the wi-fi was horrible. Slow and disconnected frequently, and only occasionally did it live up to the "high-speed" advertisement of the hotel.

basic no frills and reasonably priced. Clean and neat. Front desk extremely accommodating. Quiet and close to convention center, reading terminal market and interstate 76. WiFi not 100% dependable but I was using a tablet breakfast was carb only not even peanut butter. coffee very watered down and not really hot. But over all a good value in the city. .

Lucky this place is only like 10 minutes from shops and clubs because it is awful. Internet only worked for like 2 hours of the whole trip. Rooms were cramped, the free breakfast might of well have been chook food. Don't stay here, stay in the Hilton around the corner

Hotel staff very accommodating. Close to Center City holiday sights. Room w/2 doubles small but comfortable once lack of heat rectified (compressor was not initially running). Breakfast better than anticipated. Very good weekend rate.

Great price with breakfast, great location, great room. I had read a few poor reviews prior to booking. Ignore them we enjoyed our stay. Walking didtance to all the historic locations. A small supermarket next door and a short walk to a huge market.

Travelodge did everything right. They had free wifi and an excellent complimentary breakfast. Staff was attentive to my needs. I'd stay there again.

We didn't expect much because of the price and other reviews but it was actually very nice surprise. It's nothing spectacular to be honest and the exterior of the building is not very appealing but hotel itself is actually quite clean and comfortable. Our room (and I think that's the case for most of the rooms) didn't have any windows so that was a little bit depressing but other than that, I really don't have any complaints! Staff was really helpful and nice!

The hotel staff was very courteous during my stay! At check-in they even gave us recommendations of where to eat/shop/etc since we were visiting from out of state, and looked up information for us to give us phone numbers. Our room was nice, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was awesome! Check-out was also courteous, & they store luggage free of charge if you want to come back for it later. Overall, satisfied!

The location of this hotel was ideal; however, the hotel itself was quite disappointing! It was noisy inside and out. There were people arguing in the hallway. A dog could be heard barking although no pets were allowed. Also the only vending machine that contained soda and water became out of order. Ok price for no frills.

Convenient location to penn convention center

Room was small with no external windows. Clean and confortable for sleeping. Our AC wasn't working well so stay was stuffy but they did bring in a fan which helped.

it was pretty clean, the pillows were soft. the staff was really nice, thank goodness there was someone at the desk overnight to let me in at 2 am after i forgot my key. the problem was the room was so small like a vox, and i had a lot of stuff with no where to put it. everything is miniature, the bathroom, sink and room itself. but it is typical of an inner city hotel and for it being travelodge it was cleaner and nicer than other travelodges i've been in. the best part was the location-in walking distance from everything you could possibly want to do in philly, plenty of food, and shopping nearby. and the neighborhood isnt that bad as long as you realize it is a big city. however it is downtown, not the hood like other travelers might think. i walked home from my friends dorm at jefferson college, and the walk was short, well lit and not scary at all. not one person bothered me, a shock for a female alone in the wee hours of the morning.

A lot of noise outside the hotel and management was slightly unconcerned (unsympathetic) about it. Otherwise, hotel was clean, and location fine although right next to a homeless food distribution spot.
