Compass Cove Resort - ميرتل بيتش

overall we had a great experience. we had ocean front view. the room was big. we loved all the pools and spas. we had a great time at the water slides and lazy rivers. we could get free movies. one thing is they charge you a hidden fee once you get there. also the bathtub could have been cleaner. the furniture was dusty. they could work on cleaning better.

Not happy at all...

Everyone at the hotel were very nice. Live music at the Tiki bar was good. DJ at the pool was also nice while floating on the lazy river. i would stay again. Not a 5 star hotel but nice.

Beautiful and fun, staff was very helpful n friendly

Friendly service; clean; great views; lots to do with or without a family. Good food at on-premise restaurants. Negatives: coffee pot but no longer provides coffee??? Neighborhood kind of drab. Would stay here again.

We found compass cove to be fantastic for our family vacation. We had 6 people who went with us, and found the grand mariner suite very comfortable, roomy, and clean. The pools were excellent and never too crowded. The hotel staff were curteous and very helpful. It was great to walk right out of the pool and right into our room. For future travelers during the summer months, I would recommend avoiding checking in right at check-in time as we had to wait an hour in line to check-in. The only other complaint that I had was that house keeping only cleaned our room once during our week long stay. They restocked towels and other toiletries, but only made the beds and took out the trash once. I would have liked it better if they had done it everyday. The hotel was within 15-30 minutes away from all family attractions. This was our second stay, and we will visit again next year. It is the only place at myrtle beach as far as our family is concerned.

I enjoyed the stay the had a pool on every floor and was very kid friendly. Only thing i did not like was the bar downstairs bc the drinks were nasty.

The hotel and ammenities were great. We only had a problem with parking. Apparently you can only have one vehicle per room even though the rooms accomodate up to 6 people. This was never explained online so we had to spend 45 mins looking for a on street spot.

Overall it was a nice resort and a nice stay. My only complaint is they charged us an additional $12 each to use the pools.

The room was clean and spacious (a little dated, but in good shape). The hotel is located on the beach and has extensive pools for kids to play in. Our room could have sleep eight (two queen beds, a fold down wall bed and a pull out couch). People at the front desk were nice and friendly. Daily cleaning service left our room in nice and orderly shape. Overall an incredible value and great experience!

Hotel was very nice , personel was friendly, I was able to do early checkin with out a extra charge, Stay and enjoy the hotels facfacilities after the checkout.

I really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay there again!! Hopefully soon: )

My husband and I loved the Compass Cove. They have many pools to choose from, so none are very crowded. Our room had a balcony which looked out to the beach. It was a peaceful place to relax. They also had a nice breakfast buffet for a reasonable price. The room could have been a little cleaner, but then I am hard to please. We would stay there again.

Odd that the parking garage isn't big enough to manuver your vehicle about. Seriously, it is too small to even park in. I think its made for those minature vehicles or something or maybe Hotwheels cars my grandson plays with. It takes way to long to check in and to check out. No way a resort should be so understaffed or inefficient. Romm telephone quit working, they never sent anybody up to fix it after we notified them. The HBO channel went cloudy, they didn't seem to care much about that. On a positive note, the room was clean and current, pools and hottubs clean and comfortable and the elevators were fast. I admit the place is a pretty nice place. We booked a special deal on a special website and got a great rate but I have to admit, I would never pay the regular price on this place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Was down there over Bike Week and they chose that weekend to repaint the lobby's. Several entrances were closed at different times throughout the weekend making it somewhat difficult to navigate. The room was spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with a variety of the necessities.

I traveled with another adult and 4 kids ages 14, 11, 10, and 5. The rooms were very clean and the full kitchen was a plus. The restaurant on the 2nd floor would have been a fun place to visit if we had not had 4 kids with us. They had karaoke til 11 and drink specials every night. As far as amenities for the kids, every corner we turned we found another pool. They spent most of the weekend just swimming in all the pools and sliding on the water slides. They also have corn hole and outdoor chess. As far as location it is south of family kingdom but the plus side is we didn't have to deal with the traffic. Only disadvantage I can think of is the parking deck that is connected to the hotel was full and we had to park in the one across the street. Overall I was very happy and will stay here again.

I had a hard time finding a hotel that was on the beach and would accomodate 6 people. I finally found this one. The location was good, there are no major shops around, but they are in walking distance. The 2 pools and the beach service was great. The hotel could be better if it had a bar and resturant near the pool area and they included breakfast with your room. Other than that, we all had a very nice stay.

The room was nice but lots of construction going on and because of it they closed off elevators and we had to walk with our 2 toddlers 1 infant around the resort to get out with our luggage in the parking garage and there was a cigarette bud in the pool

I was very pleased with Compass Cove with the exception of them trying to make us pay per day for street parking. They said they only allow one car pass for this room. We booked for 4 people and we had two cars. And the parking deck was never full the entire trip. Other than that everything was great! We loved the water activities. I'm sure we didnt get to use them all but we sure tried. It was great.

Nice nrooms n nice people

We had a great weekend at Compass cove. The room was fine for the little time we spent in there. The service was nice and the front desk staff was friendly. Free new release dvd rental was nice for the kids at night. The location is excellent, The indoor water features are great for kids of all ages. There are slides and numerous indoor/outdoor lazy rivers. Will be our destination for years to come.

Would stay again!!

Compass Cove did not disappoint as usual. Room was updated and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Pools were all very clean and all common areas, even in midst of construction. Ate at Compass Rose for dinner. The food was excellent and the server was fabulous. Would definitely come again!

I love this hotel with all their pools, spas, lazy rivers and water features. It is right on the beach and in a great Myrtle Beach location. We were walking distance from the Parasailing, banana boat rides, kayaks rentals, and jet skis. What a fun time! Plus it is only 5 minutes form the airport. That was an added plus, as my husband had to fly out for business the day we left.

Our first trip to Myrtle Beach so we had high hopes. The room looked nothing like the picture online. The weather was bad, so we spent more time in the room than expected. The cable picture was horrible on almost all channels, so we got movies. We bought food, but the stove didn't work. We will be back to Myrtle Beach but not Compass Cove.D

Really nice rooms

Weather was rainy, cold & windy.....but the view from our room was heavenly and there was plenty of indoor pool action to keep the kids busy. There was some construction going on in the hotel, but didn't interfere with our fun. Only complaint would be there aren't enough elevators and they are slow.

Wonderful long weekend. Very nice people work at the Crow's Nest and the "Rose" restaurant - hard workers. The kitchens in the older area should be updated or at least a new coat of varnish on the cupboards to make them look more presentable. Lots of construction going on but that is good, too. LOTS for kids to do!

Everything was a little outdated. That said I don't have much experience with beach resort that have been around for a while. Staff was excellent. Parking was a little tough. Food was decent at breakfast. Pools were numerous and the kids had a blast! Chlorine was high but understandable. Room was clean but outdated.

This is a nice hotel... I would stay there again. I saw something's that need improving but over all it was good

Location, location, location!!! Older place but the location is fantastic. Great water activities for kids especially. Staff attentive and helpful. We were on ground floor and could walk across patio onto the beach. Loved it!

Would stay again, clean/comfortable room. Good selection of pools(some heated) and hot tubs. Only complaint would be a poor channel selection on the TV. Only had maybe 10-12 channels, at least ESPN was one of them.

The hotel was nice and offered a good number of amenities. The many pools came in handy as the weather was less than ideal during most of our stay. The room was had an oceanfront view and a balcony. Everything was well maintained and the staff was helpful. Overall, I found it to be a nice place to stay.

Overall a nice place. Lots of water stuff for the kids to do. Loved the free movie card and the ability to get movies to watch anytime. Great location to be able to get to anything you want to do quickly and without tons of traffic.
