The hotel is in great location, but we def did not get a 5 star service. We had 3 rooms booked for a family holiday, but everyday in one of the rooms towels weren't replaced, one day toilet tissue was not replaced. Little things like that which was annoying after paying so much money for a 5 star. The room cleaning service def needs improving. The staff in the hotel was great and overall they were very helpful. I also feel the Hotel needs to upgrade some furniture in the balcony. Overall good but not 5 star!!

staffs are really nice, the outdoor pool is also nice with dinning places. love the featured turkish cuisin. will choose again if be in Malta

Entry level room does not provide coffee/tea making facilities which is poor for a 5 star hotel. Room was carpeted but never vacuumed during a six night stay. Did not receive the room type booked.

The outdated photographs taken several years ago of the Intercontentintal St Juliens are missleading in that the hotel is now run down and needs refurbishing.

I did it again picked another great hotel with excellent buffet breakfast, fantastic rooms and perfect location for shops, nightlife and tours.

Having everything available in the hotel like restaurants and the spa made everything so much better!!! The staff was pretty nice and the food was great!

Excellent hotel. In party capital of Malta with loads of bar restaurant, bay and other great things to do things near by. Very big clean room with separate shower and bath. Room has balcony with buildings view as it was 20euro extra per night for over looking pool view. Indoor pool is bit busy but have decent outdoor pool to enjoy the sun.

Very happy with the service. Great location for the nightlife but quiet also.

The check in service was wonderful! The hotel was great, breakfast was wonderful, walking distance to everything but I did not like the tub and having no shower!

The Intercontinental Malta is an excellent hotel where the staff are extremely attentive with excellent high standards. The receptionist on our first day couldn't have been better giving us some great advice on Malta and Gozo and how to get back from Gozo late at night. The food was very good and they have a great sports bar that provided a relaxed oasis after a hard days sightseeing. Overall a great hotel in a great location.

Well appointed spotlessly clean hotel with great facilities in an ideal location for anyone who wants a lively break handy to Valetta.

It was a great and comfortable hotel. Real 5 star service (which is rare in Rome). The location is SUPERB. Just step out of the hotel and you can walk to the only nightlife street of Malta. Very happening street with all best clubs and lounges. Do the city sightseeing the whole day, come back to hotel, chill, take a swim in indoor pool (if it is cold), have a drink at the hotel bar, and then at 10-11 PM step out for nightlife. Very good staff and very good service. Room was extremely spacious and clean and comfortable. Overall! I give full points to this one.

My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The bathroom had a few problems which need addressing and the loud music from nearby bars did disturb a good nights sleep. However all the staff could not have been more helpfull and I would stay there again.

Really fantastic staff. Helped arrange fishing trip. Advised us on must see activities. Always pleasant. Location close to shopping, night life, as well as bowling and cinemas. Stuff for every member of your family.

With their own private beach and the best party street in Valetta 100m away is the location splendid. The hotel is ok , but fare away from fantastic.

I loved the family friendly hotel. I was a little disappointed with the wet smell from the area next to the bed close to the bathroom.

The Intercontinental was an excellent hotel. We had good service from friendly, English speaking staff and a very comfortable room. We stayed only one night on our way back from Gozo to UK, the idea being to give us a chance to take a look at Valletta. We had a splendid meal in their Paranga resteraunt which has a stunning location on the waterfront. Unfortunately, the hotel's immediate surroundings were tacky and it was rather further from Valetta than would have been ideal.

My husband and I went to Intercontinental for our honeymoon. We had breakfast at their buffet. The service was very poor. We did not even get asked for hot tea or coffee until we were done eating. We sat in the lobby listening to the piano everynight, but the waiters were so terrible, they would stand around socializing instead of serving. When you questioned it, they became hostile. The reception staff and concierge were very accomodating. And we loved the spa, which is not affiliated with the hotel, and has great services and hospitality. The food at the hotel was really bad. Room service was good.

The hotel and the services provided by the hotel are of a very good standard, however despite the latter fact, the Gym/Fitness Center was well below par with many of the equipment unoperable and dangerous to the users.

Very happy with everything. I read about area being very loud but we did not hear a thing once balcony doors were closed. Aircon worked as a charm, staff was nice and friendly. We did not eat in the restaurants much, but the price seemed to be similar than surrounding restaurants. Location is good, could not be closer to restaurants, night clubs etc. I would book this hotel again!

The room was in terrible shape upon my arrival at 10:00pm. Bathroom was not clean, there was lint all over the sofa and very limited space for my bags. This is not the standard at Hotel InterContinental - just to let that be said.

Absolutely fantastic! Cannot rate this hotel high enough. In a great location for restaurants and nightlife. Across from shopping centre for convenience. Hotel also has a private beach, which is amazing. Plenty of sun loungers, towels on arrival, staff on hand, beach bar and restaurant beside it. Gorgeous! Although the hotel is in a very central location near to bars and restaurants, the hotel is very peaceful and none of that can be heard. Room was very quiet and clean. Staff could not do more for you. One staff member who assisted us with our bags on arrival even remembered our names and asked us about her stay when we passed her after check out.

We have just returned from a lovely stay in Malta. The island is beautiful and I would recommend the South and North island tour to really appreciate what Malta has to offer. We also took a service bus to Valetta and this was well worth a visit. The Intercontinental had many positives. It was a very large hotel with many facilities. The decor was modern and attractive. We had a great room which we paid a very competitive price for. We ate in 3 of the restaurants and were a little disappointed in the food quality and service, particularly taking the price into consideration. The pool area was good with new loungers in place this week. The location of the hotel is central but unfortunately it is a bit of an oasis in a slightly seedy area, with numerous bars and nightlife. However walk a street away and you can escape this part. 10 minutes walk round the corner leads you to the picturesque bay of St Juliens and even on either side of the hotel were a couple of restaurants where we ate and would recommend. Overall l I would definately recommend Malta and the Intercontinental was a very good hotel which provided excellent value for money.

The hotel was in a great location next to cafe's and nightlife but the hotel itself needed an upgrade. The only concern I had requested a double bed but instead had two in my room which they couldn't do much as the hotel was fully booked.

It was wonderful stay in the middle of St. Julians next to the nightlife scene and lots of restaurants nearby, also close to public transportation. Location could not have been better! Just be aware that the surroundings can be noisy due to the bars around in case you mind that. The room was huge and very comfortable (typical Intercontinental facilities) though the sofa in the room was not so stylish. Bed was also very comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay again next time I go to Malta! It made my vacation awesome.

I wasnt there for long time but I made some requests by phone prior to the checking-in date which were dutifully fulfilled (rose petals on the bed etc.) as they were there when we checked in. The bathroom packs with the mini toothpaste, comb etc. were very convenient, and the location of the room permitted quite a nice view. What I didnt particularly like was the time spent at the reception before being given a room key - although the front desk person was very nice. Perhaps it is something related to the hotel system they use that caused the bit of delay. Other than that, the stay was lovely, I ven been there before and the staff are always very nice and friendly, and willing to assist with guest needs.

Warm Hospitality, Clean room and bath. Full accomodation. Nice facilities in hotel (2 swimming pools, gardens, fitness club...). Breakfast option with room is highly recommended. A bit slow service. Overall is a real 5 star hotel. A big shopping mall is nearby. I had a comfortable time in Intercontinental Malta.

This hotel is great when it comes to quality, as well as location!! Using it next time I visit Malta!!

Lovely rooms, expensive breakfast, dirty private beach and low class partylife in closest surroundings but nice SPA.

Our room wasn't ready till 4pm, while the booking was from 3pm. THe stuff had no idea what to do, didn't offer any solluiton other than "I'm sorry" and "I'm sorry". Overall the hotel is nice, it's just the feeling of overprices hostel that ruins it.

Very nice hotel, squeesed in in compact Malta in General. Nice pool in the top of the hotel Service is good, and restaurants also very good. Price level on the restaurants quite high though. Can be recommended!

Jag och tre tjejkompisar köpte separata flygbiljetter och letade hotell själva. Vi hittade Intercontinental till ett nedsatt pris 10 000 kr istället för 30 000 kr för fyra personer i ett rum, en vecka inkl frukostbuffe. Va lite osäker på hur vädret skulle vara då vi åkte 7-14 maj men det va helt super hela veckan! Bokade flygtransfer, taxi, genom hotellet för 21 €/taxi och väg. De hämtade oss vid flygplatsen och körde oss till dörren, jättesmidigt! Jättetrevlig och serviceminded (och snygg!) personal! Hjälpte oss med allt vi ville. Rummet va jättebra, två kingsize och två queensize, balkong, tv och stort badrum med allt man behöver. Poolområde, gym och spa på toppnivå där vi spenderade mycket av vår semester. Området vid hotellet, St Julians/Paceville är super och där finns det något för alla. Biograf, bowling, shoppingcenter, strand (privat del för hotellet där man får låna solstolar!), restauranger och partygata! Vi fyra tjejer va väldigt nöjda över val av område. Nära till busstation som tar dig överallt, vi åkte till Valletta som tog 35 min. Frukostbuffen va den bästa vi ätit, fräscht och stort urval!

Fint hotell, men ikke den standard du forventer av et 4-5 * hotell. Hadde bestilt juniorsuite og ble glad da vi bes innsjekking fikk beskjed at de hadde oppgradert til suite. Skuffelsen ble stor da vi kom inn. Rommet var stort, litt enkelt møblert, men utsikten, hvis man kan kalle det det, var helt elendig. Vi så rett inn i 2 store byggeklosser, og selv om vi bodde i 11. etg, slapp solen ikke til. Dette opplevdes ikke som oppgradering. Vi spurte om å få et annet rom, og ble da tilbudt en juniorsuite som hadde utsikt rett i et buskast. Dette var skuffende. Service ellers var upåklagelig. Skal man bo på dette hotellet så be om å få bo i north enden og med utsikt over hage basseng.

Intercontinental var i hjertet av st julians.ligger perfekt til midt i sentrum, gå avstand til både strand,uteliv, resturant og shooping. Veldig sentralt og bra Hotel både service og renslighet. Annbefales !!!

The Hotel Service is one of the best I have ever experienced - The hotel is very well placed...the Party mile is just around the corner.

Hade en helt underbar resa & hotellvistelse med min sambo. Hit åker vi igen & till InterContinental :-)

Vi er meget begejstret for hotellet. Der er en stor flot udendørspool på 10. etage med et meget stor opholdsområde med solsenge rundt om og poolrestaurent. Skønt også at kunne gå ned til den private strand og være VIP med gratis solsenge. Vi havde et sort familieværelse på ca. 40 m2, 4 gode senge, sofa med sofabord. Altanerne er lidt små og havemøblerne slidte og kun til 2 personer.

Rigtig dejligt hotel, venligt og hjælpsom personale. Skulle dog selv spørge efter håndklædekort - en mindre detalje. Der pågår renovering af bygning på vej-siden, så ønskes en ren altan skal man vælge at komme ud mod gården/poolen. God idé, at købe en dags-billet til bussen. Husk kontanter til taxa-turen til lufthavnen ;-)
