Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments - لندن

Checked in staff was very friendly. My room was located at the courtyard (away from streets and quiet) The only problem is that there is no lift for apartments in the courtyard. We were given a room on the top floor (2nd level), although I made a request a month before my travel. Overall, my family is happy with the place and location.

The room was great even thought we didn't have a view of the parks around the building (but I didn't request this. I'm sure if I had then I would of had a room with a view) The rooms were very clean and the decor was not at all garish (as can be in simular priced b&b's) and as the room was an apartment you could stay all day. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially a girl in the office who went out of her way to make sure I got what I wanted! Nadia (I think) I would definitely stay again

Close to Whiteleys Shopping Center. Hotel staff is pleasant and helpful. Room was clean (except for the carpet-old & dirty). The room accommodated 3 adults fairly well. The only real con was noise from the hallway and unit above. Creaky floors and no insulation!!

Nice hotell conveiniently located near Queensway in the Bayswater district. Many local restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Breakfast room a bit to small to cater for the number of guests present when we stayed there. We had booked a family apartment for five people. We first got a two room apartment where access to the only bathroom was through one of the two bedrooms. This is not so practical for nightly bathrom visits, so we asked if they had any aparrtments with access to the bathroom from bouth rooms. We where offered such an apartment located in the courtyard after our first night, and was happy with that arangement. The sofa beds where ok to sleep on for the three nights we stayed, but I would not recomend them for people with back problems. All in all a good hotell/apartment for a resonable price.

Nice hotell, super service by the employees.. Very bad breakfast. But im norwegian, and used to ekstremly healthy breakfast. And there where more sweets than fiber there. The rooms where nice, even if we where three people on the smallest rooms, it was big enough. The carpetcleaner smelled bad, so we`d had to have the windows open all the time. The bathrooms where clean and delicate. I the area around is a cute and beutiful. I recomend this hotell as a three or four star hotel. :)

This is a very nice, well located hotel. We were close to the tube and used it to travel all over London. Also, the staff got us tour tickets, a taxi to the airport and other advice. The internet access, breakfast and laundry facilities were perfect.

This hotel is an excellent budget choice, 5 minutes walk to Qeensway Street with many restaurants and stores, the neighborhood reminds parts of Brooklyn. Lots of various ethnic groups, safe and energetic. However, unless you get a room facing the courtyard, you will not get a good night sleep- taxi cabs slaming the doors, delivery people yelling, drunk youngsters screeming... all night long. Be aware!

The room was very comfortable.although we did not use the kitchen. It was well equipped. Itwas close to the underground and also stores and restaurants

After recently spending the night at the Grand Plaza Serviced Apartments, I have to say that the hotel was definatley worth the cost. The location is great, right next to the Queensway line and you can be in central London within a few minutes. The room itself is great, beds are very comfortable and the rooms are much bigger than you expect them to be. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Would definatley recommend.

Nice Hotel. Was placed in Lower Ground, so the view was not that good:-) but apart from that nothing to complain about.

We were surprised by how well we liked our hotel! While it was a bit of a maze finding our room, everything else was great. The space fit our family well and we especially appreciated the free laundering of one load of clothes. The launderette did all the work so we were able to enjoy our holiday. The unit was very clean and well stocked. We only had one minor issue which was addressed promptly and professionally. The location is easy to access the Bayswater or Queensway tube stops but also easy walking to Kensington and Notting Hill. We would definitely stay at this hotel on future visits.

Hotel was well situated with good facilities and near to popular convenience stores as well a tube stations. We used it as a stop over for a 2 day trip around the sights of London. Within a 10 minute stroll we had the choice of 2 tube stations (circle line or central line) and passed numerous restaurants and convenience stores. Rooms were basic but provided coffee/tea, WiFi, microwave, fridge, 2 ring hob and sink as well as an en suite bathroom with bath and shower. Good value for money, you get what you pay. Would definitely use this hotel again if needing to stay over in London.

Initially was a bit apprehensive as there were lots of mixed reviews. But certainly found that the location was very convenient, easy to get to tube stations and also to lots of food outlets for meals, as well as preparing meals inside the apartment itself. The heater wasn't working when we arrived, which proved a problem especially with a 10 day old baby in tow, but the staff were excellent and quickly got their hands on two electric heaters to help heat the rooms. Staff were also helpful to get us a ground floor apartment for ease of use. Room was clean, and bathroom was excellent too. Size wise it could certainly fit in 6 adults without much of a problem. The only downside was the quality of the extra bed in the lounge - it was a divan type bed but the mattress was really too soft. Quite uncomfortable to use. The main bed however was good. Overall, I think people should give this place a go, and remind themselves that for a central London location, this should be one of the better ones!

My wife left behind a piece of jewelry. My son went to the hotel immediately after our departure to ask for the assistance of the hotel to check the room. They were not very helpful.

The hotel has everything in easy reach, two tube stations within five minutes, groceries, restaurants and, for runners like me, Kensington park and its inviting paths.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the hotel over all. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room was beautiful and offered us exactly what we needed. The location was great to both the undergrounds and Hyde Park. The wake-up service was prompt and accommodating. We will definitely recommend this hotel to both family and friends.

The first apt. they tried to put us in was on the 5th floor and the elevator only want to the 4th. Narow winding stairs to the 5th. Apt not what was advertised. Tiny and cramped. We complained becaue my wife cannot do stairs and they moved us to a 2ed floor larger apt. It was just fine.

Rooms and appartments in the Bayswater-area, between Paddington and Notting HIll. Big room, but not really big enough for two bouble beds. And a bit expensive. Close to shops and cafès/pubs, shoppingcenter with cinema. Only a few minutes walk to the undergroundstation, both Central- and Circle-line.

Good location close to two tube stations and the queensway shopping/cafe precinct. The rooms are small, not as depicted on hotels.com.site. Not able to walk down both sides of the bed as it was up against the wall because of space restriction. Claustrophobic.

A great location to all the sights in London, only a short walk to the underground. Only disappointment, the room was very much misrepresented in photo, but clean and adequate.

c.ould use an upgrade in carpet and painting.

The Grand Plaza Serviced Apts. were a fabulous location. Walking distance to shops, restraunts, and most important the tube. The room was very comfortable. It was a great value for the money. The only negative thing was there was no coffee pot only an electric pot to heat water. A cup of coffee @ McDonalds was four times what we pay in the states. Having the fridge in the room was great with the grocery store so close. We would most definitely stay here again.

impossible to navigate with prams as have tons of doors and steps. staff are rude and mostly unhelpful, especially the check in dude (very rude!). Because of him and the pram issue, we would never stay there again. If he left or the baby grew up - I would stay again as reasonable value for money and good location.

This is not a 4* hotel. the most is 3*. i got to this hotel on Friday, they didn't let us check in till 4 PM. which was OK, but once i got to the room i felt the room's temperature is like 90F. I looked for AC and I found out that there is none. there respond was well just open the window and it will get cool off! good luck.

We were not satisfied at all with the accomadations of the hotel. They put us on the 5th floor where we had to climb a flight of stairs to get to our room. We are in our 70s and it was a struggle to get up the stairs. The room was always hot and muggy because of no air conditioning or air flow. The 4th floor was cool but the 5th floor was terrible. The only thing I can say to the good is the location. The staff seemed to be indifferent to our needs. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room we were originally booked into was infested with clothes moths. We were then moved to another room which was also infested. The hotel is in a bad condition with old carpets throughout and infested with moths.

I would rate this hotel as one of the worst that i have ever stayed in. We arrived at 7 am having flown flown 14 hours on a red eye to be told to come back at 2 pm as that is the way it is. OK, we thought. The 3 night we stayed we had a room at ground level about 10 ft from the street where parties developed and remained in place until sunrise. Given that it was summer, no air conditioning we had the window open and had very little sleep. The room temperature was close to 30 degrees so all in all we were not happy. However, the young lady on reception named Leslie was very helpful and plesant so good on her

Lots and lots of things need to be repaired or replaced. One of the top reasons I booked this place was that it advertised clothes washing facilities on site but once i checked in I was told laundry facilities were out of order. I don't believe there was any intention to repair those facilities. Also, furniture was placed so badly in bedroom that it was almost impossible to find enough space to get around bed to bathroom. Not good for any stay beyond 1 night.

This hotel is close to the underground. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. You will go through a maze in order to get to your room.

This was a great place if you are traveling with two teens. We had a two bedroom apartment which was not huge but comfortable enough to give us enough privacy. Having the kitchen was a plus since we could have breakfast in while we were getting ready. There's a few groceries stores on the main street which made it very convenient. The hotel was two blocks from the main street in a quite & safe location. Downside was that we had no view we faced an indoor courtyard more like a light well and their was no internet in the room. Lobby had internet but only two couches. Hotel staff was pleasant, they gave us a portable air conditioner since on our first day we had record breaking temperatures was 91 degrees. The room was cool with that and two fans. (Hotels in Uk don't usually have AC since they rarely have warm temps). The underground is a few blocks away. Don't let the guys at the desk talk you into a cab to airport or international train stations, you could easily take the train to anyone of these and safe yourself the money.

The hotel location is good, very close to Kensington Gardens, shops, and restaurants. The hotel itself, however, was not very good. The rooms were extremely small, much smaller than they appear in pictures. There were many steps, lifts and narrow hallways to get to our apartment. The floor of the apartment sloped visibly and the beds were futons or pull-out sofas instead of actual beds with any decent mattress support.

Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff. Excellent location in London.

I had 14 in my family group and we all stayed at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice sized and clean. The location is close to stores, the tube and restaurants. I did not really know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised with what I found for my family. The elevators are kind of slow and halls are a bit of a maze but these are the only real complaints I really have. If you want a "reasonably priced" place in London that is safe, clean and has friendly staff this is the place. I would recommend it to all my friends.

The hotel's staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is in a good location. It is within walking distance to Hyde Park and only a few blocks from the Bayswater tube station.

2 or 3 supermarkets near this hotel. Room is big enough; bathroom is spacious too. There are rooms on ground floor and if you get those facing the street, like I did, then brace yourself for noise from the street as the room is only about 1.5m from the pavement and street and you can hear everyone's conversation as they walk past. Room came with a kitchenette; cooking utensils were a spacepan and a frying pan but there wasn't a ladle nor a fish slice, so I had to cook using spoon and fork, taking care not to scratch the non-stick surfaces of the utensils.

Hotel was nice and clean.comfortable.near the tube,lots of good restaurants.shopping places.and buses,all within walking distance.the only thing we did not care for was the stairs.No elevator at all.Not fun with all the luggages.it is little too pricy.

The room was very spacious and included a separate bedroom for the kids and a kitchenette. The Wifi did not work initially but the staff quickly had it repaired. Carpet was a bit worn, but the room was spotless. The Metro station was close-by allowing for easy access to sightseeing. There were lots of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Great place to stay, convenient location, friendly staff and well maintained. Very well priced indeed. only one drawback, my room was extremely dark and a but dingy, facing the air conditioning unit in the center of the hotel. However with me staying there for only a few days, it wasn't a big deal. Otherwise, a very good place to stay and much more affordable than a hotel. Great staff at the front desk.

Excellent location. Just a few minutes to Bayswater Station. Quick walk to Hyde Park. The neigbourhood is quiet, yet close to the main street for food - 2 groceries stores too! The apartment was clean, efficient - loved the kitchen area. Would recommend without hesitation

All the front desk staff, cleaning staff and also the concierge were very friendly, and helpful. The rooms were clean. The availability of laundry facilities was very helpful for guests who are staying long duration. Location was close to both bayswater and queensway tube station so it is very convenient. For Muslim guests, location of hotel is close to all halal restaurants and butcher. Close to Hyde Park is also a plus. The hotel entrance has a ramp which is very convenient for my mother who is on a wheelchair. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. Thank you.

Great location - just off a road called Queensway which is perpendicular to Kennsington Gardens. Queensway has great restaurants and pubs but also lots of souvenir shops, electronic shops, and a few others thrown in between. There are also two tube stations. You can walk to Nottting Hill and through Kennsington Park and Hyde Park to the Palaces etc. Although it is a little old and the apartment a bit run down, the service is terrific and the hotel is especially good for families with large rooms and laundry facilties. Excellent for teenagers too and keeping in contact with family with free wifi and network broadband throughout the hotel.
