We were amaze when we arrived at the hotel, the view, the ocean, the accomodation! The director of the Hotel, was truly accomodating with our particular needs. When the hotel will be totaly renovated it will be a place to go back to.

PICTURES ON THE INTERNET DO NOT DEPICT THE ACTUAL ROOMS. THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY CONSTRUCTION WAS LOUD AND EARLY.THE ROOMS WERE SMALL AND THE SLIDING GLASS DOORS WERE VERY HARD TO OPEN.

HELL HOLE, MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I EVER PUT MY FAMILY IN,I COULD GO ON AND ON,BUT I WONT, THE HOUSE KEEPING WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE EVER , HAD TO DO IT ALL FOR 3 DAYS TILL WE MET 2 EXCELLENT HOUSE KEEPERS FROM ANOTHER FLOOR,THEY TOLD US TO RECOMMEND THEM AND WE WOULD GET THEM, THANKS TO JADA & TONYA, THANKS TO THEM AND THEM ONLY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY,I MEAN ANYBODY!

My husband & I booked this hotel to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, realizing that it was not 5 star accomodations, but offered an oceanfront room in a quieter area of Daytona Beach. Although our room was clean & nicely updated, we were completely unaware that the hotel would be packed with "Spring Breakers" and was in fact the ONLY hotel within a several mile radius that was overrun with them & hosted a DJ every day beginning at 1pm who played loud party music. Since our room overlooked the pool, we couldn't even enjoy the sound of the ocean. Although the hotel staff did their best to keep the students in check, we couldn't walk through the pool area without stepping over beer cans & bikinis and the hallway noise late at night was definitely intrusive. To make matters worse, over 1/2 the rooms were under construction (thankfully that meant 1/2 the spring breakers). However, we were constantly being re-routed around through construction tunnels, water leaks & over plywood walkways. One area of the pool deck was completely closed due to the construction and (it gets worse), the public pool restrooms had NO water during the majority of the daytime hours and for the most part, had no toilet paper. (Imagine the bathrooms with no water & all of those college kids.) We were also disappointed to learn that the luau so widely advertised at this hotel was only offered on Saturday nights & we checked in on Sunday. I do want to share that the staff were very friendly and easy to deal with. I just wish we had been warned in advance about the population of spring breakers expected so we couldn have avoided staying at this hotel at this particular time and also about the major construction. This was my 1st experience with Hotels and I will be reluctant to book with them again.

The hotel was awful. It is currently under renovations which is a good thing because the inside of the hotel looks extremely outdated. The whole hotel stinks as you walk in, the carpet in the hallways and rooms are disgusting, neither I nor my boyfriend would take our shoes off ( it was that bad). We had a leaky faucet in our kitchen that prevented us from getting a good nights sleep, along with the fear of bugs, the sawing noises from the renovations, and the stains on the clean sheets. There were also random pieces of sheet rock on top of the entertainment center..why.. I have no clue. We tried to find the indoor pool since it was a bit on the cold side and never could find it using the arrowed signs and the renovations preventing us from accessing certain parts of the hotel. I would never stay in this hotel again and pray that none of you have to encounter the disgusting mess that is the Hawaiian Inn!

About 60% of the room are being renovated. Construction workers and machinery all over the place. Spilled paint, dirty rags. Definitely not what was pictured on the web site. Actual room was nice, but climate of the hotel was trashy.

The employees were great. Valarie at the front deck was fantastic. The hotel is under renovations and the workers start at 8:00 am. So much for sleeping in on vacation. You could not relax by the pool because all you could hear is machines and drills going constantly.

I was looking for the lease expensive hotel I could find that was reasonable. This hotel met those needs. They claim the beds are queen size but they are much closer to double size. In addition the beds were not very comfortable. The renovated room was decent and you can't find an ocean front room for a better price. I would stay again if I was on a budget.

We arrived to find that the the hotel key cards did not work. We didnt get a key to our room the whole time we were there. Every time we left we would have to wait for an employee to eventually come up to the fifth floor and let us in. I called prior to booking to see if the renevations were complete and was told that they were only finishing painting. This was not true the whole front side of this hotel is torn off all the way down to removing the floors and repouring concrete. The heated pool is outside which isnt completely enclosed and you would have to walk wet from outside back to your room so we never used the dirty heated pool. I would definetly book elsewhere. I am not one of those people that ever wrights reviews and complains but you will be disappointed with this hotel atleast for another couple of years until they complete renevating it then it will probably be worth the money but for now steer clear for now.

Was pretty much got what we expected. We made a last minute reservation and had no problems. For the rate we paid we did not expect elegance nor did we want a dump. What we got was a moderately priced hotel with no frills.

We did not know that the main part of the motel was under construction. They have done a great joy of keeping up the service to the guest while doing major work to most of the balconies. It was not a real problem and this is the time of year to do that kind up-grades. We will be back.

Hotel was under construction, visually hotel was not much to look at, but we really enjoyed that it wasn't crowded or busy. It was a great relaxing family weekend getaway.

When we arrived we were pleased to see the amenities that were offered at the motel. The kids loved the pool (both outside and inside heated), ping pong, shuffle board, and mini golf. Then we saw our room. The carpet was so dirty it turned your feet black. One bed was so worn out it sunk down about 2 feet in the middle. The other bed was not much better. The air conditioner is right next to the bed so the person sleeping there freezes. The bathroom needed a major overhaul. The so called kitchen had a tiny refrigerator, and a two burner stove top (no oven). The sink was so small it was hard to wash the dishes. The shower water is cold one minute then very hot the next (could be bad for small kids). This was the first time we have ever left a vacation early, but we decided we could not take one more night in those beds. Oh, and the motel is under outside renovations (balconies and doors-not the inside of the room). So your relaxing day by the pool is spent with drills,and other LOUD tools going off all day.

The hotel staff was very nice, the room was a bit out dated... right on the beach in a nice location if you want to get away from the attractions and night life.. but still close to take a cab or short drive to night life and other land marks.

We got to the hotel with high hopes that they were done remodeling. The lobby looked great, Since I had 10 mins to wait for the check-in lady to get off the phone. The rooms were overpriced. Should have been 30 bucks cheaper. Beds slopped badly in the middle. Bathrooms were the size of a small walkin closet. If you want to stay at this one bring your hard hat because the whole backside of the property is STILL under contruction...With the looks of the broken concrete and the deterating roof, windows etc.. This probably should have been done 10 years ago...When we went to check out the staff was rude to my wife about using a luggage cart. She told us they wernt there when we saw them at check-in. Overal if your looking for a place with cold ac and a nice view, Stay here, Just don't expect much else. I'm from the Orlando area, So I've stayed in MANY hotels in the Daytona Beach area. There is much better places and better deals then this eyesore.

The hotel was ok. The room was spacious, however the beds were horrible. We had a room on the bottom level which was good because of the access to the indoor and outdoor pool.

NICE HAD A GREAT ROOM THE MAID WAS ON TOP OF HER GAME EVERYONE WHO WORKED THERE WERE NICE CLEAN ROOMS PEACEFUL , WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR TIME THERE AND WILL STAY THERE AGAIN AND ANYONE ELSE WHO PLANS ON GOING. GREAT PRICES

The rooms do not come with queen sized beds as advertised. The TV's are small and there is NO HBO as advertised. The rooms are old but the view is lovely, the pool area is nice. We went to the Luau show and the performance was good but the food was less than mediocre and the charge is high. All in all if they change the description to the actual amenities there would not have been as many issues.

I enjoyed the stay but 2 out 4 lights did not have light bulbs in them, the light by the sink did not work at all, there were 3 chairs for the table when i had 5 people for the room but 2 out of the 3 chairs were broke in half,and best of all the microwave did not work, beside the room i thought it was nice that they had putt putt golf there but all the clubs and balls were gone i thought the motel would make sure the people would turn them back in so other guests could play, thats the reasons why i would not reccommend the hotel unless it changes, i stayed in room 519.

This place is a DUMP, the balcony was falling apart, the paint was peeling off the walls, just a dump...

This hotel was a nice place to stay at. The weather was nice and hot and the beach was a good place to swim in.

This hotel is worse than anybody can imagine. It is so old, the rooms are so dirty, not in livable condition. My dog house much better than this hotel. We were not able to stay there, we had to find another place to stay, just loose our money for one night. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

The hotel is located on the beach with great ocean views. The service was excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.

I stayed in the hotel on spring break in 1980, went back 30 years later. my god, like a time capsule. The place was still dirty:) the hotel was pretty run down but a lot of them on the strip are. The price was right, we only stayed two nights. I would not stay one week with kids in this hotel. The bed was aweful, the middle was sunk in 6 inches. The bathroom was like a broom closet.

The beds were uncomfatable and the carpet was dirty. You couldn't tell by looking at it, but after our 2 year old grandaughter ran around barefoot most of the evening the bottom of her feet were black. The one plus for this hotel is the pool area and Tikki bar. The area around the pool is nice and a good size with lots of chairs and some tables with umbrella's. The negative on the outside is the chunks of concrete missing on the building. It is somewhat of an eyesore. Our air conditioning did not work well either. They changed the filter after we complained but it didn't help very much. Then after five days of being there the called us the morning we were leaving and said they were coming to check on the a/c. Well it was a little late for us.

We stayed 2 nights and that was more than enough. Our room keys repeated did not work. At one point it took me FOUR times going back to the front desk before they sent the maintance guy back up with me to reprogram the lock. When housekeeping came to clean the room they took all dirty towels, but left NOT ONE clean towel. The hotel it's self seemed run down and old. Our room was rather small to have 2 queen beds. Oh and the bathroom was so small and had no vent. The air conditioner started to make an awful sound in the middle of the night. The only nice thing I can say is we had a great ocean view. But even that wouldn't get me to stay there again.

Would NOT recommend this to any one with small children. They are remodeling the hotel. No outside lights for pool or deck at night. parking lot is very dark also. Our room was not what they showed on website. The only thing that was nice is Daytona Beach! It's Beautiful!!!

The Hawaiian Inn looked decent from the street but as soon as we entered the room our experience changed. The room was exceptionally large but smelled musty right away. The beds were made up to look alright but as soon as we pulled down the covers we realized they were made with the wrong sized sheet sets. They squeeked so loudly getting in and out of bed that it continually woke my wife in the other bed. The adjacent room was large and had it's own fold out sofabed that had NO sheets at all! When opened the crumbs from several previous stays fell to the ground and in looking between the spring bed and the back of the sofa it looked as if it had never been cleaned underneath. Old cereal and crumbs were there as well. The exterior towards the ocean was in a total mess. Broken concrete walls and pillars had peeling paint throughout! This was not just in one spot but on EVERY floor! On closer look we noticed city notices for remodeling scotch taped to the windows next to the entry way. This entire place is being re-built, and it's obvious it needs it. If I had known this was the case we would definitely NOT have chosen to stay here. This was an entire mistake but It was too late to book anything else and we both woke up with sore backs! Do not let anyone else stay here until renovations are complete! We paid top dollar for a terrible experience!

All three rooms we were shuffled to were full of mildew and mold, most of the balconies are damaged-- missing concrete, tie wraps holding the rails together, exposed and rusting rebar. Windows broken (first floor), deadbolts don't work, air conditioning leaks on top of stove filling the electric stove top full of water. Towels are thin, sheets have holes in them. Jacuzzi doesn't work...don't waste your money!

Work being done on the hotel right outside of our door and they started too early in the morning. Guest coming and going all durning the night(which hotel had no control over i understand). One night the cleaning cart dragging down hall at 1:30.NO coffee, and had to go and ask for linings for pull out.Floors and furniture not clean.

room was dirty.floor in bath room was dirty had to wet towel and clean bad area. sheets and bed spread was badly stained.room had a smell. look like mold and damp around vent area.went to store and bought disinfectant and sprayed.

hotel was alittle dirty, needs updated. But price was o.k.

For the price I paid, I was very disapointed with the room. My room was terrible(they said was clean), but toilet was broke; the fridge leaked when I was out and had water on the floor. The security outside was the only thing that I really liked, since I had my motorcycle outside. I would never go back and will my the word around that this is a terrible hotel.

The hotel was pleasent. It was very nice right on the beach with the pool right there and the DJ. We really enjoyed all of that.But the bed was awful they really need new mattresses we could hardley sleep the bed was so uncomfortable. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

bon rapport qualité prix,c'est pas cher mais ilne faut pas vous attendre a un 5 étoiles.tres beau direct sur la plage .La propreté des chambres laisse parfois a désirées ca dépend quels chambres et a quel moment .Nous sommes allées 3 ans de suite mais cette année le ménage laissait a désiré il n'ont jamais lavé les toilettes en une semaine.Les 2 piscines sont magifiques.Tout est pres le marché les petites boutiques le minigolf...

Das Hotel liegt sehr schön direkt am Strand. Aber der allgemeine Zustand ist sehr schlecht. Dieses Hotel hat die besten Tage schon hinter sich und ist inzwischen ziemlich heruntergekommen. Möbel sind defekt, Rost im Badezimmer und Flecken auf dem Teppich. Das Internet hat so gut wie nie funktioniert. Alles in allem keine Empfehlung. Daytona Beach hat hunderte anderer schöner Hotels direkt am Strand.

Las tarjetas magneticas no funcionaban, por llegar a las 11pm nos dejaron sin llave hasta el otro dia. Al otro dia nos perdimos 1 hora hasta que logramos tener una tarjeta, y ya era hora de dejar el hotel. Si uno dice que no anda , no anda , no hay que ir y venir y terminar por cambiar las claves y tod lo que se tiene que hacer desde un principio. Nos tendrian que haber pedido disculpas y dejarnos 2 horas mas por las molestian. pregunte a que hora tenia que salir y me contestaron a la misma que todos. gracias

Et hotel som ikke er 2 stjerne vaerd!!! Standen af lejligheden og bygningen er til nedrivning og maaske dette ogsaa er planen i naermeste fremtid .. derfor ingen vedligeholdelse Poolen er OK og beliggenheden ud til stranden er perfekt.
