Overall the room we had was fine. I didn't expect to have so many luxuries such as plates, cups, silverware, and small appliances, plus we can a microwave and a decent sized refrigerator. We got 2 double beds PLUS a pull-out couch, which was very comfortable. The TV had good quality and selection for hotel standards, but honestly, for the price I paid it should have been at least a 32" flat screen, eh wishful thinking. The free coffee was a bonus, the bathroom was clean, and having a front AND back door to the room was very convenient, the best part of the room was staying on the ground level with a gate and chairs. We stayed at the hotel for the H2Oi Volkswagen show, so naturally there were some drunks around but it was tolerable and they kept their distance. I felt safe leaving some expensive things in the room while I was away. The room had a great amount of storage for all of our stuff, but lacked on the style side. Many hotels would be so much nicer and wouldn't cost any more if they put some effort into style rather than floral bedding and ocean scenes on the wall.

We by chance booked this hotel and were honestly nervous. BUT it turned out to be an amazing hotel. The room was clean and organized. The overall comfort of the deck, the room and the staff made our vacation just amazing! We had a little issue with our daughter when we first booked in. And the lady came into our room, cleaned up the mess, gave us extra everything just incase we needed it. She was so nice and concerned about her. She told us all the emergency places and times incase we needed it. I will definately book with them again!

The ice machine became broken and was not going to be repaired for a day or 2. The hotel reception said we would need to purchase our ice at a nearby store (none within walking) or sneak to Howard Johnsons. That is not what we paid for and I was disappointed because we wanted to have a few cocktails in our room and on the balcony before dinner. This was a huge inconvenience on a hot summer day. The hotel should have made some arrangements to provide ice.

Room was clean and comfortable. Really close to the beach you dont even need a car. Overall I think its worth the money.

The hotel was reasonable -- located one block from the beach and the staff was generally courteous but the decor could use a little work. At first impression the rooms seem a bit run down but after looking at the rooms in some of the other hotels (even pricier) the rooms stated to look pretty good. The hotel has no restaurant but it’s located near a lot of other food sources so it didn’t matter. All in all, the hotel was fine and I would consider staying there again.

The Pros; The Staff and location at the Casablanca Hotel was excellent. This room has a kitchenette and microwave and a full size refrigerator. The beach is not even a block away. The room was generally comfortable with the exception of the pull out couch. The Cons; It is an older hotel that could benefit from a makeover. WIFI would be nice. Coffee in the morning would be nice not just when checking in. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff was friendly, place was clean if a little old and dated, and while at the far end of the boardwalk, still within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Would stay here again.

For the price and location, I would definitely stay there again. Nice room with comfortable pull out bed. Nice size fridge and clean kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was very nice too. You cant beat that its fifty yards from the beach. Great location and ample parking. It was very nice sitting on balcony and enjoying a cold one and smelling the great ocean air. Will be back for sure.

Despite the impending hurricane, I can't recommend this particular unit. The carpets were dirty with cigarette burns on the rugs and couches. The refrigerator was borderline ineffective and there were bugs on arrival in the unit. I'd probably give the place a 4 or 5 because of the amenities (pool with slide, tennis courts, beachfront, beach view, etc...) but our unit was clearly beaten and badgered by years of renting.

only i problem 2 nights room above us very loud and using really bad laungage told management stopped. will be back in august if rates are good and room lower level

The room was pretty big, clean and most importantly a quiet place to rest. The staff were very friendly too. The one thing that i didn't like so much is that its really far down from where the begining of the boardwalk so you had to walk alot in order to get to the entrance of the boardwalk, other then that am in love with it and we're planning our next vacation :)

We arrived at 10AM with a 3PM check in. The staff at the Casablanca gave us a parking lot pass so we could park our vehicle in their lot. Then they gave us a key for the swimming pool area so we could change and use pool and go to beach. Anup and Apri were 2 desk workers that went above and beyond to make this a very enjoyable stay. We enjoyed ourselfs so much we booked a 3rd night here. House keeping a little lacking in our 1st room (nothing terrible) but our 2nd room was beautiful. Place a little dated but overall great price for 1/2 block from beach. Can't wait until next year. We will certainly return.

Very nice place to stay and even better if you don't want to have to drive everywhere. 50 to75 yards to the boardwalk and beach. We will be staying there again in the near future. Great price for a great stay.

The hotel Casablanca in OC Md was not great at all. The only way I would stay there again is if there were no other place available an it could only be for a night. It looked descent when you walk in, there were flies in the room and went to sit on the bed and found 2 dead flies on the bedspread Gross!! Than when I took the bedspread off the sheets felt like there was sand all over it. Also the toilet was making a gurgling sound and the bath tub was disgusting. I had to call the desk 3 times within 20 minutes of arriving. Also the next day we left for the beach and when I came back to the room to get snacks for the kids my patio door was open when I remember closing it and checking it and they had no response to what may have happened. Buyer beware

We got a poolside efficiency. Very clean and conveniently located just steps away from pool, vending, restaurants, boardwalk, and beach. Extremely friendly staff. Me and my two teenage daughters had an absolute blast! However, if you are on the ground floor, DO NOT leave anything on the balcony/patio at night. My beach chair was stolen :( but that is my own dumb trusting self. I will definitely stay here again! Of course, I will remember to bring all of my things inside the room.

some friends & i rented out the deluxe room for a night. at first sight it was nice&clean, but as soon as someone took a shower we found someones hair in the tub, defenetly not ours. also one of the pillows was very dirty it had brown stuffs on it & i don`t want to know what was on it. overrall it was a decent stay we were right in front of the pool and it was cheap. im still disturbed about the pillow eww..

Saved money by booking with hotels.com. Spacious room with nice kitchenette. Clean, friendly and efficient service. Good location for family.

I did a lot of research before choosing a room for my stay in Ocean City. I was trying to stick to the big brand name hotels, but everything was so expensive. Finally, a friend of mine suggested Casablanca to me, and thank God she did. This room was great - not just great for the money, but great in general. The location was perfect - on the boardwalk, but not right in the middle of all the action. We parked our cars on the first day, and didn't really have to move them until we left - almost everything we did was within walking distance. The only complaint I have is that they don't provide parking for more than one car in their lot. Our room slept up to six people, but we were only allowed one parking pass. We didn't have any problem finding a spot on the street out front, but still would have been nice to put both cars in the lot. If and when we go back to Ocean City, we will choose Casablanca again, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

solid beach motel, rooms comfortable with small patio area to keep sandy beach items, and dry things. Great location, close to everywhere we wanted to be. About 80 yards to the beach.

Hotel is at the end of the board walk, so it's a long walk to anything. But this is great if you don't want to spend a lot of money and just want to visit the beach! You need a top floor room if you want to get an empty elevator to take your things back to your car - a half-sized elevator will have you waiting a half hour or more for enough room.

We loved this hotel. I have never stayed in this hotel over my 40 years of going to Ocean City, Maryland so we were taking a chance. The nightly price was really fair. The room was clean, large roomy room, nice little kitchette, great location on the boardwalk and the staff was wonderful. We actually left our IPhone in the room and one of the maintenance/housekeeping guys ran out to our car to give it to us. We will be back!!! We loved it. Thank you Casablanca Staff!!!

This hotel is very close to the beach, restaurants, shopping, miniature golf and the boardwalk. As a matter of fact, very easy walking distance to all the above. I am very pleased with my stay there and will definately stay there again. Room was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel is not the height of luxury, but is far better than the number of stars indicate. Particularly, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great vacation at a reasonable price. Would recommend to others.

reasonable cost and staff members are nice.

During our stay we were awoke by neighbors in adjoing rooms singing and playing guitars at 2:00 AM. We had a stinking trash can outside our hotel room. We were wokend by noisy maids. Complaints were ignorted and not resolved. We will not stay ast this hotel again.

The housekeeping at this motel left a lot to be desired. The staff never cleaned the tub or sink during our stay. Many of the towels were stained. (They wash their linens onsite.) Housekeeping asked if we wanted the sweeper to be run...why wouldn't you just run the sweeper on a daily basis? Beds were never fully made. Very, very poor housekeeping. I would definitely not stay here again.

Second year I stayed at the Casablanca. And I'm planning on a third year next year. It's a great place at a great rate. I'm always sorry I have to leave to come home.

good stay in Ocean City in peak summer months, decent rates, its very expansive over here, rooms are ok, full kitchen, balcony & boardwalk just around corner..

The sheets had dried red stuff on them and it was disgusting! It took them a whole day to replace that and the bathroom was not clean. However, the location of the hotel was perfect!

The Hotel and rooms felt a little creepy and not very clean a little touch up to the rooms would be nice. The staff was great and location was good too!

Great Access to EVERYTHING-Boardwalk, Beach, Food(all 3 meals),waterparks,shopping. Staff was more courteous than my family!! I'm going back in Septmeber and bringing 11 golf buddies!!

great palce, great price. friendly staff. also very kid friendly
