Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa - Cansaulim

very nice resort with a lovely clean beach where you see too many people. Service was also very good overall. In general can't say anything bad about the resort. Should also be very good for families. Only to consider is it might be a good idea to go to other restaurants outside of the resort for a change - if you stay longer - you also might wanna book the spa as early as possible were not able to get a double booking within 30hrs. - went then to the Taj Exotica spa and from what I could tell though by far more expensive the Taj resort looked less inviting compared to the Hyatt.

The hotel architecture, planning, facilities, ambience - everything about it was really good.. The view from the room is great. The food was excellent..and there is variety of food available! The Room was always kept clean and the Room service was excellent too..I just loved the portugese style walk-in bath tub.. I never went out of the hotel to see the rest of the Goa (I'd seen it before)..The hotel itself gives so much to see..it takes couple of days!! Used the Sereno Spa's couple treatment therapy. The experience was good. Would definitely recommend. Would love to come back to the same hotel again and again..

We did not expect to find such a nice hotel in India. Excellent architecture, well designed pool area, pleasant restaurant atmosphere. Well trained and very friendly staff, from the front office, over the waiters, beach attendants even smiling gardeners. Checkin was a bit slow. The offered a very late check out on the last day was highly appreciated.

The hotel is a beautiful property in good old Potugeese style with a wonderful garden park full of water ways and a pleasant big swimming pool. The personel is very friendly but sometimes things are arranged after you had to push several times. Our room had an unpleasant smell of old building and unfortunately we could not change due to highly booking. It's a pity that there is an industry close by which is distributing heavy air pollution into the surroundings. But nevertheless we enjoyed a lot our long weekend stay at Goa Hyatt.

Amazing hotel, beautiful gardens, right on the beach, excellent staff. If you are fortunate enough to stay here, you won't want to leave. It has the longest pool in Asia, the best spa in the world and 5 restaurants to choose from. The food isn't that expensive considering it's a 5 star hotel.

Great hotel. Well kept grounds. Great pools. All staff were nice and helpful. Food was good. Enjoyed the stay and recommend hotel.

We were very annoyed with the room provided to us. Room 427 seemed to be a sub standard room. 1. We stayed for 5 days and every single day could not take a bath w/o a plumber darshan before. You see there is no hot water !!! Every single day .. in the morning we HAD to call the plumber. And this could take anywhere between half an hour to 1.5 hours. Even on the day we wanted to check out and leave early - we had to wait for this ! It does not matter if you have to take bath at 7 am or 10 am or 12 noon - you still have to call the plumber !!! 2. The TV reception of the children's channels was pathetic. We complained about it every day .. to no avail. They were not able to fix it. And they did not even apologize for the state of the TV nor did they change the room. 3. The menu could definitely take an overhaul. We actually went out of the hotel to eat ... it seemed ironic that we were in a 5 star hotel and the options were very very very limited. We enjoy continental/italian as well as local food but still we felt the hotel lacked here. 4. They did not bother to replace the bath salts ! ( very minor point but still .... ) Since we specifically went to Goa to vegetate and laze on the beach and hotel ... the hotel failed in the facilities that we take for granted and for which we pay a premium ... every day seemed like a battle for water ..... and our child could not watch TV comfortably with that kind of reception. These are not things I want to worry about when I pay 5 star rates !!!! The good points - Location is great , the beach is very very nice and clean - Camp Hyatt for children is very good - The morning breakfast spread is very good and the people are very helpful and polite. I would not recommend this hotel b'cos for the money we paid ... and the problems we faced ... it was not worth it.

Magnificent hotel in a magnificent location. Could not fault the amenities, service or food. Spend a couple of days here - you will not need to go anywhere else!

The hotel had fantastic grounds and some of the service was good. However, some service was not so good and the spa was average with rates in the top quartile of 5 star hotels globally. The prices for food and beverage were extremely high which resulted in us not wanting to spend as much as we normally would. The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade as they are looking very tired. If it was not for the F&B prices we would go back, however, under current circumstances we wouold not return any time soon.

The place was perfect. The hotel was one of the best. However, I suggest that someone should notify customers that during June, July, and Aug that all activities are closed due to wether condition. I tried my best to entertain my children with watersports, elephent rides, cycling, hicking, sightseeing, etc but nothing was available. Even hotel beach was closed. If I knew that prior to traveling, I would simply postpond my trip or choose some other country to spend our vacation.

This place had everything you need to have a perfect honeymoon....we just didn't want to leave!

We didnt leave the resort in the whole four days we were there. The staf are so interested in you and accomodating. All the facilities are spotless and top notch, and the stay is at a very reasonable price. Highlights are the pool and the Village Cafe buffet. Excellent.

Un hotel precioso y un staff encantador y muy atento!!!!! Restaurantes muy buenos, playa preciosa, bonitas piscinas, spa.... Nos encantó!!!! Recomendamos alquilar una moto para moverse por Goa, ya que el hotel está en el sur y el norte es más interesante para visitar (Old Goa, Baga Beach...) Highly recommended!!!!

Das Hotel liegt versteckt an einem wunderschönen Strand und eignet sich hervorragend zum Entspannen - allerdings nur in der Anlage, da sich drumherum nichts Nennenswertes befindet. Wer nicht so abenteuerlich veranlagt ist und viel sehen möchte, kann sich im luxuriösen Ressort sehr wohlfühlen. Pool, Animationen, Spa + Essen sind hervorragend!
