My family (husband, childrean ages 9 and 11) came to Munich in the early afternon. We were all tired after queing on the autobahn for several hours, and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The reseptionist was very helpful, and seemed genuinely pleased to see us - this little things matter! Without beeing asked, she had given us an upgrade, and we stayed in a very large, comfortable room with separate bedroom on a loft. The children, who are both experenced travellers, claimed that they had never stayed at a better hotel! Located in easy walking distance from the city center ( 5 min walk), the surroundings were still quiet, and we all slept well before enjoying a good breakfast and leaving for the airport. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer on this excellent hotel in a very charming city!

It seems like a lot of Munich hotels are like this, but things are a little old school at this hotel. You get the heavy brass key from behind the desk, the decor is slightly outdated... but it's all clean, they do have free wifi and a free breakfast and the staff was very friendly. All in all, I'd stay here again.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff and very helpful. Close to subways. Buffet Breakfast was great. Hotel was very clean. Would stay here again if we were to visit Munich again

The location of th hotel was pretty good, it was like an ten minute walk to the center of the city. If your driving to the hotel it is kind of hard to find when using a gps, th e room was ok nothing really special but what the room didn't make up the friendliness of the staff and the great breakfast buffet made up for.

We spent the weekend in Munich and I would definitely recommend the Hotel Exquisit. The location (right next to the Sendlinger Tor U-bahn station) is really convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk (or 1 U-bahn station on 2 differnet lines) from Marienplatz, and we easily did this walk a number of times over the course of the weekend. You can always easily get to and from the airport on the U-bahn/S-bahn from the hotel...much cheaper (and faster!) than a taxi. The hotel itself was very nice but the highlight is the reception staff. They were so friendly and helpful, happily spoke perfect English, and were full of great suggestions on what to do and not do. My only criticism of the hotel is that our double room had 2 twin beds pushed together, rather than an double bed. Mildly annoying, but not a calamity. Overall, very good hotel and I'd recommend.

Both twin beds in our first room squeaked very badly. We changed rooms, and although the beds were better, they were not really acceptable. This was a pity as the breakfast is excellent, the location very convenient for the metro, tram & old town, and the staff are very helpful. We are surprised it is rated as 4 star: there is no in-room safe (safe available at reception, but not really convenient), the double glazing is inadequate with street noise clearly audible, and there is no aircon. Wi-fi is available, but at a charge.

Wonderfully located not far from the center of the city Hotel Exquisit deserve the highest reward! All in this hotel: rooms, service staff etc. is up to the mark! A special emphasis should be also made on the hotel's breakfast. It was incredible divine: light snack, hot dishes and especially the dessert!

Hotel Exquisit is very convenient to the center of Munich. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast was great and the room was comfortable.

The lack of AC makes this hotel a bad choice in the Summer but its obvious insulation would make it ideal in other seasons.

My experience with this hotel was outstanding. It is aptly named. I recommend it to anyone staying in Muich for more than a night. Easy access to trams and subways, short walk to the train station and to the many lovely sites of Munich. Wonderful staff.

Stayed for 3 nights in Hotel Exquisit as a base for a Munich city break. What can I say? - Great location - near to the main square but in a quiet neighbourhood - Friendly staff who are willing to help with your trip - Amazing buffet breakfast! - Large rooms - Great deal via hotels.com! Would def recommend to anyone planning a trip to Munich!! :)

Great location and easy to walk to most major attractions in Munich. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, so cannot say enough about that. Beds are a bit firm, but otherwise a great hotel!

Great hotel, huge, nice rooms, wonderful breakfast, 5 minute walk to the center of town, walking distance from the train station, great service - loved it! We were a little worried walking from the train station, since we passed a lot of shady casinos and strip clubs, but our hotel was on a very nice street and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Highly recommended. Our largest European hotel room so far!

we really enjoyed this hotel it was very close to all the shopping and related activities. Staff was helpfull and room where better than some 5 stars. they also provide a computer in the loby with free internet, bonus. T-mobile internet could be purchased at the front desk.

This is a very nice hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet. The room was very clean and comfortable. Perhaps not in the heart of where you want to be, but with Munich's great subway system, it really does not matter. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Munich.

This was my third stay at the Hotel Exquisit each in a different room all unique and comfortable breakfast exceptional and lobby public spaces very relaxing PLUS fantastic location. Bring earplugs for rooms facing street . Helpful pleasant staff. Lovely Italian resturant just next door.

Enjoyed my overnight stay. Hotel very easy to reach by Sbahn from airport. Can walk to Marion Platz and to other cental areas. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was better then others. The only problem was the bed was to hard for me,but the location madeup for that.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and a decent value for its quality. My only gripe was related to the "extra" fees: slow speed internet was very expensive (about $25 per day), faster internet was in excess of $60/day. Also, front desk gave out misinformation about parking rates nearby -- saying the only choices were all about 30 euros per day ("P+R" lots immediately adjacent to metro stations were 110cz/day = 5 euros). Good breakfasts, nice rooms, and old world charm made this a nice experience.

Excellent hotel in a great location - just a short walk to the old part of the city. Our spacoius 'room' consisted of a separate bedroom and sitting room with a good-sized bathroom. The breakfast was very good with a wide range of hot and cold dishes. We were impressed with the management of the hotel - the staff were all very helpful and the manager for the day made a point of coming round to each table at breakfast to say hello.

My husband and I stayed here, our room was large and clean. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful. This is walking distance to Marion Platz, the farmers markets and many department stores. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

The hotel is close to the U Bahn, and not far from the centre by foot. The hotel is not in a noisy road though. Staff are friendly and breakfast was very good.

Close to Sendlinger Tor andhistoric old town Munich. Easy access to public transportation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We visited during a heat wave so appreciated the fan in the room which kept us quite comfortable. Neighborhood was relatively quiet. We had a street-side room that was a bit noisy early in the morning if the windows were open. Loved the delicious breakfast in the morning (both hot and cold items to choose from) and enjoyed the assortment of loose and bagged teas.

A good well priced hotel well positioned to the transport network and the Marienplatz (short walk). The italian restaurant next door had good food, not so good service though. Our room was lovely and a nice size but very noisy (couldn't close the large door/windows due to the heat). All we were short of was an airconditioner!

Hotel Exquisit is tucked away in a quiet location, within short walking distance of Marientplatz via a street lined on both sides with tempting shops. It represents very good value as the inclusive breakfast is so delicious, with such a variety and so filling, lunch is unnecessary. Served in a spacious dining room or beautiful outdoor area, it is a great way to start the day. The staff, service and all amenities were excellent. There is a metro just a few hundred metres away, and with only one change, an easy and inexpensive trip to the airport costs less than twenty euros for two or more people. I would definitely recommend Hotel Exquisit to anyone seeking accommodation in Munich

I highly recomend this hotel - location is central, and yet it is quiet. stuff is extreemely helpful.

The staff at the Hotel were very friendly and spoke English, which made the stay easy. Rooms are nice and well-maintained. There is an elevator for the upper level rooms. No a/c, but the windows open and it is very pleasant even when warm. There is a little cafe across the street which can provide some noise if the windows are open. Internet access is not free and is very expensive with only two options: 60 minutes or 30 days, but there is a free computer in the lobby for any guest to use.

The reviews were very accurate as the hotel itself is very clean, great location but no air conditioning and if you have the window open it is very noisy. Not from traffic but from people walking and talking outside. Not sure if this is because it is by the university

Had a great time. No negative surprises. The only issue was the distance from the old town which was a long walk. If this is not important to you then everything about the hotel was wonderful.

After staying at 4 other hotels in Bavaria and Salzburg, this was our favorite. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were large and very quiet, the location was excellent and we would definitely go back again. You will not fine a more extensive breakfast anywhere, it easily carried us through the day until dinner. To get anywhere, the trams and underground are just down the street. We bought a transit pass for the four of us which included the train to the airport which was very inexpensive.

This is the hotel!!!! Stay here... You can stay in many hotels in munich, but not many are so close to the city center and so cheap. The breakfast was great everyday. The people behind the desk always spoke english and were very knowledgeable. This is the place. Big bathrooms. No A/C, but we went in september and october so it was nice with the windows open. the streets where the hotel is located are very quiet.

Hotel was cleaned and offered great breakfast. Staff was friendly and accomdating. Hotel was witin minutes walking distance to Marienplatz.

Lovely small hotel, very well located. Within walking distance of the main station (10 to 15 mins) and the Marienplatz (10 to 15 mins). While close enough to the station, avoids the seedier side of staion area hotels. Set in a nice street off Sendlinger Tor. Staff all very helpful and breakfasts excellent. On nice days able to eat breakfast in an enclosed courtyard. Would have been nice to have had an iron in the room rather than borrowing from reception and air conditioning would have been good (though there was a fan provided).

Great location, very central. Breakfast was very good! Lots of choice and very tasty. Room was big and comfortable. Very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the noise from the street and building site opposite the hotel (room was facing the street) - we had to have the window wide open at night due the temperatures (30C). Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The Exquisit was exactly what I wanted. It was in a quiet street, close enough, but not too close, to the main train station in Munich. The lobby gave a good impression on first arrival, as did the man behind the desk, very friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff were helpful and friendly with excellent English. The room was very comfortable and bright and the bathroom was excellent and very well appointed.The buffet breakfast was superb with a great range of food and the dining-room staff were attentive and helpful. In all we really enjoyed our stay at the Exquisit and would definitely stay there if ever in Munich again.

Charming little hotel located half a block from the old city and walking distance from the Marienplatz. Very helpful staff and delicious breakfast.

We arrived at this hotel late in the aftrenooon at a very hot and sticky day to find out that there are no air condition in the room. Coming from NY we cannot sleep without A/C, we were very upset and ready to look for another hotel even if it meant to lose a night's charge with Hotels.com. However the lady at the front desk her name is Mrs. Ophover offered to bring in to my room a portable A/C from the one they have at the conference room. I must say that it worked so good and we were very happy with the service that she provided. Thank you Lazer

Very roomy, very clean and very freindly helpful staff! Great location from main attractions, easy walking distance, allows a chance to experiance the city.

The location couldn't have been better and I have stayed in a lot of hotels and have never meet a nicer & helpful staff. GREAT hotel

We were very happy with our stay. The hotel is at a very convenient location. Walking distance from downtown Munich. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The breakfast and service was excellent. We will definitely stay there when we go back to Munich.

Our room was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you could want - including a trouser press. The staff at the reception desk were really helpful and spoke perfect English. The hotel is right at Sendlingor Tor, a major tram and U-Bahn hub. The staff encouraged us to take trams everywhere and told us how. It was easy. The hotel is on a quiet street with several restaurants close by. Of course Hotel Exquisit had its own restaurant. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts there.

部屋は広々、洗面室もゆったりバスタブ付きで快適。ただ、禁煙室をお願いしたのに入った瞬間タバコの臭い。全室禁煙のはずなのに前泊した人が吸ったのか、元々喫煙室だった部屋を禁煙室に替えたため臭いが残っているのか･･･どちらか分からない。2泊もすると喉が痛くなったが部屋交換は対応してもらえない。朝食は種類豊富で大変美味しく、スタッフの方も皆笑顔が素敵で居心地が良い。立地は申し分ない。

綺麗で過ごしやすいホテルでした。 フロントの方、レストランの方ともに親切で気持ちの良い接客をしてくれました。 朝食のビュッフェはすごく美味しかったです。 ミュンヘンへ行かれる方には、ぜひオススメしたいホテルです。
