Unfortunately, the hotel was rather run down. The room we had exhibited cracks all over the walls and ceilings. Housekeeping carts and bundles of trash and laundry were left in the hallway the entire time we were there, yet we were told we could not check in early because our room was not ready. There were only a handful of guests anyhow. The front desk was not very helpful or knowledgeable. Only one hot tub was working and it was dirty. The beds are TERRIBLY uncomfortable. You can feel every spring. During this time of the year check out should be later than 10am seeing as it is a ghost town and NOTHING is open other than starbucks for a short period of time. Overall, I would not stay there again.

I know ski season is over. Room was nicely furnished. My one quip was the fireplace was turned off. Off season could have a latter check out time vs 10 am...

Great experience. Room is clean and comfortable. We stay in the slope side and it's perfect to ski in/out.

Ski in /out.Very Quiet.Superb location.Clean and comfortable.Indoor pool/whirpool would be nice after skiing.Highly recomend the condos-has everything you need for a couple get away.

If the beds were comfortable, we would have enjoyed our stay. The elevators were broken when we arrived at 11:30 p.m. They were fixed by morning. There was a constant blast of cold air coming out of the vent in the hall outside our room. By the second day we decided to stuff coats in front of the crack in the door to help keep the room at a bearable temperature. Our room was constantly cold, but we didn't ask for it to be fixed, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Fireplace was nice. Furniture was nice. Biggest issue was - the hotel says they have a "firm no pet policy". However, that is misleading to allergy sufferers. Owners are allowed to bring their pets, renters or hotel guests are not.

On the plus side Zephyr has a great location which you pay dearly for. The room had everything we needed except a comfortable bed. We didnt sleep well both nights we were there because of this. Otherwise its a lovley property even has a Starbucks on the premesis. The outdoor hot tubs were nice but could have been better protected from the wind.

Very convienent place to stay at Winter Park. Less than 100 yards to ski lift, restaurants and bars. Small condo unit with all the standard amenities. I will stay there again .

Location perfest for ski-in:ski-out. Access good restaurants. No crowds mid-week. Good snow conditins and ski runs for varying aptitudes.

I always look at this hotel when skiing Winter Park. Stayed there for my sone hHigh School State championship races. The staff has the friendliness of a pit bull. There is no business center to print out anything but a boarding pass (for an airport 1.5 hours away). No way to connect a USB drive or laptop for printing anything. No maid service while staying there. No coffee, restaurant or service in general. good for a ski destination and nothing else.

Best Location if staying in WP. Pros: Heated underground garage parking, Zephr lift outside the door, ski lockers, outdoor hot tubs under the lift, in the village for quick shopping,dining, kitchenettes in room, small balcony, fireplace, front desk friendly. Cons: could use some upgrades/renovations in the rooms, some appliances broken, some wear and tear from unruly guests, no while you stay room service came through, couldn't find recycle containers. Overall would recommend for great skiing at WP!

This is the second time my kids and I have stayed at Zephyr Mountain Lodge. The location is outstanding for skiing (we come back to the condo for lunch since it's ski in, ski out), and people who work here are laid back and nice. There are always a couple of things around the hotel that need fixing, but overall it's a really nice place to stay while skiing in Winter Park/Mary Jane.

The Zephyr is terrific for its location, but our room was pretty beaten up - nicks on the furniture, etc. It also had not been thoroughly cleaned and vaccumed and there were leftover Cheetos on the floor. The service at the front desk wasn't great, but Andrew, a bellhop, made all of that up with his kind and extremely service-oriented demeanor.

Very convenient location, easy access to ski lifts and walking distance the Cheeky Monk Beer Cafe. The day we stayed there, the hot tub was not working, the showers had cold water and the bed was rock solid.

We only stayed for one night but it was great. Our room was nice and the bed was firm which was important to me due to back problems. They were working on one elevator but it wasn't too crowded so not a big problem. Get a mountain view room-well worth the extra money! Awesome first big snow and lessons for 20-something kids were so helpful and nice. Definitely recommend the zephyr!

absolutely loved everything about it! prefect for what we needed... kitchen, close to everything, and family friendly

I had been very excited to stay at the Zephyr because of it's location at the bottom of the Winter Park base. The pictures made the hotel seem new and luxurious. Upon checking in we were informed that "due to the fact that each condo was individually owned, the furnishings might vary." We were SO dismayed to learn that our room was shabby and outdated. The bed was a queen, when we'd thought we'd booked a king, the hot water took 5 minutes to come on, and the great proximity to the lifts actually meant that we had to listen to them blow snow and the snow cats moving around all night. We ended up moving across the street to Fraser Crossing, which is less expensive and MUCH nicer!

We went to see the fall colors and the hotel was convenient to many trails. What we enjoyed most about the hotel was the wonderful village feel of the grounds surrounding it with great restaurants and fun things for the kids (teens) to do. They enjoyed playing the giant chess game and we waited for our meals at Lime. Some of the hotel furniture could use some updating, but overall, our two-bedroom suite was very comfortable and functional.

We were there for a beautiful wedding at the top of the mountain at the Lodge at Sunspot! Truly picturesque everywhere you look. We loved the Zephyr Lodge for the gathering of the family with so much to do right on site. Kids had a ball as well as the grown-ups. Each of our Condo's were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We would stay there again and are already recommending the Zephyr to other friends and family.

The location of the property is great! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and activities. The hotel looks a bit run down and the rooms were very warm. The window barely opened and did not have screens. The rooms would have been much cooler with fans.

The location of the hotel is wonderful for summer or winter, right at the base of the lifts...great to sit on balcony to people watch or head down stairs to the heart of the village with great shops and restaurants. Had two flat screen tv's which is great for a one bedroom...Kitchen was good size, well stocked, but a few dishes not clean and possibly the most uncomfortable bed we have ever (not) slept on. The staff was wonderful.

We loved the resort. The mountain views were great. We had lunch at SunSpot and it was wonderful. The room was very nice, having a full kitchen was very convenient. The parking garage underground was also great. We felt a little spoiled.

The mountains in the summer are absolutely perfect - cool and relaxing. But at the Zephyr they heat the floors, which is probably a nice feature in the winter. But in the summer it meant the room was about 95 degrees and could not be cooled even by the crisp mountain air. It was impossible to sleep. We will never stay there again. Bummer, because the location is perfect.

The room was nice and if you plan on biking or skiing then it is a good location. The room had a pull out couch that as really bad and the master bed was ok but the neighbor had a refrigerator next to the wall that keep coming on and off and vibrating the wall. Very annoying. It is summer but there is no AC in the rooms so you have to open the windows and use the fans. Having a running river outside made it not the quiet experience. In the future I will most likely not choose this place again.

We reserved a two bedroom w/ two queen beds and a pull out. We called to verify the day before and confirmed. We were given one king and two twins. The condo smelled of cigarette smoke. We were supposed to have a mountain view but didn't. We had a late checkout and then the hotel locked us out of our room two hours earlier. It was a frustrating experiece considering the money we spent.

It had been 10 years since I last stayed at Zephyr. The entire area had changed. The have developed a nice village right at the base of the mountain. The rooms were pretty much the same but had a little wear to them and that was pretty much expected. If you want 5 star don't go. If you are comfortable in a 3 star and a place that is kid friendly then this is the perfect place. The location to the ski rental and to the ski lifts were perfect especially with my 8 year old. The best part for my 8 year old was the hot tubbing out in the snow! Overall, great place to stay. Will be back but remember when booking that the Zephyr has two properties. The Slopeside which is closest to the lift and much easier to ski down to or Riverside that you do need to walk about 30 yards. Enjoyed it.

I stayed at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge with my boys who are just learning to ski. I spent the extra money for the convenience of the location next to the ski lifts. I thought the staff was really nice, the room was great, location was great and overall had a really nice experience.

Location is great...ski in, ski out. Housekeeping not so good. Underground parking is an extra daily charge.

If you want ski-in/ski-out access to Winter Park, this is the place. Furnishings may vary slightly from room to room. Beware, though, if you want to park on site, they will ask you to pay an additional, more than nominal, fee per night. Otherwise, you have to park over a half mile away.

Our family spent five days here Dec.2012 and it was terrific. The ski-in ski-out convenience was great. Pull out wasn't the most comfy but good enough for the kids. Close to dining and shopping and the free bus service was a plus. Would definitely stay here again!

A Great hotel to stay at for ski in/out. The snow conditions were not great - but it is early in the season. Overall the hotel was excellent. Main problem was there was only one functioning elevator the whole time we were there - 5 days. We were on the sixth floor - this may going up and down with ski boots/clothes etc very difficult. There were up to long waits for the elevator.

We booked the one of the best room in the hotel, but it seems like no one stayed there for a long time. The rooms are all dusty and there're dead flys on the bath room floor. I called the front desk to clean but when I got back there's still flys on the floor. And the fire place is not working. BAD SERVICE

I loved this place in oct best time to stay noone around very nice we had the whole place to ourselves very nice.

Zephyr Mtn Lodge is very nice. A little dated on the inside but not bad. Price was OK. Nice front desk help. Convenient parking. Also stayed here in the winter and was just as good.

Good location.Room was clean. Hot tubs need attention(dirty). Mtn biking was great.

We had a great summer stay at the Zephyr lodge. It's right in the middle of Winter Park resort. There are plenty of things to do in the summer: alpine slide, mountain biking, maze, miniature golf. The condo had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, sofa bed, cable TV with BluRay DVD player. The balcony overlooked the main square of Winter Park. One downside was that it could get noisy at times. The resort is about 5 miles from the town of Winter Park, where they have shopping and dinning.

Very Nice place to stay...great view nice place...is it a NYC type 5 star no...but great fully furnished ski condo.

I brought one of my kids and his buddy and stayed in a 2 bed Riverside room. The staff was up and friendly at 3 am in the morning when we arrived. The room was perfect. Cleaning did not happen often but we could care less. Multiple doors in/out of the building. Kitchen fully loaded. Internet and plenty of TV channels. Kids loved the hot tubs. The parking garage was heated and full of carts to get our bags unloaded. I thought the value was great and even better based on the response from the kids. Would do again every time. Thanks Zephyr Mountain Lodge!

Zephyr Mountain Lodge is a nice hotel with a very convenient location for skiing. Super easy to ski-in and ski-out. Not much night life in the area, though. I was there March 30-31 (end of season). Restaurants at the mountain stopped serving dinner at 8pm and bars closed at 10pm. Must go into the town of Winter Park for a more extensive choice of dining and night life.

The hotel was nice but not like anything I haven't seen before. The location was absolutely beautiful and based just off the mountain. The beds were not very comfortable at all, however. I would suggest bringing your own pillows. The food in Winter Park was very good though! Overall, not a bad place to stay but don'e expect a 5 star resort.

The accommodations were more than we had expected with fantastic access to the slope and primary chair lift. We arrived about 1:00 PM but were not able to check in until about 3:30. It was a Saturday and a lot of people checking out. The unit was great. Everything we needed. Only down side was trying to keep the unit cool enough (e.g., about 70 degrees). the bedroom always seemed too warm with no way to cool down until we found a way to open the window. WInter Park had plenty of runs and the weather was perfect. The access to the Village was great being right out side the unit.
