Knutsford Court Hotel - كينجستون

The location was convenient for our needs. The food was lovely but unfortunately the evening dinner was over an hour before the food arrived on both evenings. The pool area is pleasant and the bar service there is very good. The staff were all very helpful. Just factor in a long wait for dinner.

IT IS AN EXCELLENT LOCATION AND VERY CLEAN HOTEL AND ITS SURROUNDINGS, WILL RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. THE DINING ROOM STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT.

The staff at the Knutsford is excellent and could not be more accomodating or helpful in every sense from room service, to airline contacts to baggage handling. In my experience, for example, I enjoyed the Knutsford much more than the seemingly over-worked staff at the Pegasus which now owns the Knutsford (as well as the Courtleigh) However, it is definitely not a 5-star hotel so certain precautions need to be taken. First and foremost for business travel, keep in mind that there is not yet wifi in the guest rooms only the common areas so if possible reserve a room near a common area to hope to get a spill over of the wifi connection into the room. The garden area is on. Secondly, request a "recently rennovated" room as there is a big difference between a simply rennovated or certainly not yet rennovated and the recently redone rooms. Thirdly try to get a low floor as there are no elevators. Rooms are big, clean and well done for the recently rennovated ones at least in the Superior category which includes breakfast buffet. One can walk to certain Govt buildings easily but the Knutsford neighborhood is not the best and walking to the cluster of Pegasus, Hilton, Courtleigh, etc is easy during the day but not advised and risky at night.

The food was great, the room was okay but THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS. One side of the hotel is renovated, most of the staff is friendly, the business center sucks. An ok hotel for the price but serious culture shock if you are not a frequent visitor to the island.

Some remodeling is being done in the hotel. In the bedroom: the sink was clogged with "junk," wires were exposed in the hairdryer and the AC was loud. The continental breakfast was wonderul and the employees were friendly.

Beware of what you purchase. They have rooms in old tower that need to be upgraded. (e.g.) First come first serve. If you get one of these room you will not be satisfied. The upgraded tower rooms are excellent.

what sttood out the most for me was the plesance of all the people that worked there, they were all very nice, and they made sure i was comfortable.

NIce hotel, wireless intneret. Had an Interpol conference there when we were there. renovated rooms but fittings not renewed - electrical sockets falling out of the wall, friendly but slow service. dinner average, breakfast buffet good.

The stay was.very good, grounds was well kept, no insect bites. The staff was very nice, it was more than a home away from home. The breakfast was better than I expected, and I could get a choice if I wanted. Overall a great place to stay.

Definitely recommended. Very close to British High commission. Clean/Neat/Secure. They took too much time to check in and also please check your final bill before you check out. They charged me $36 more and they agreed it was mistake and refunded back

Room was recently refurnished. Internet connection was difficult to get it going i.e. It took four hours about. After that wifi was o.k. Nice chicken signature.

If you have must stay in Kingston, this is the place! Everything you'd like in a hotel. Cleanliness, hospitality, location, and reasonable rates. The buffet breakfast that comes with the room is excellent! (We did not get a chance to order dinner from the restaurant, as we were visiting family.) We were able to walk a short distance to Halfway Tree for local buses. I, personally, like to be able to walk to local spots, but there was not much of interest within 3-4 blocks. Driving? Then it's a perfect location. Out of the hustle, it's a quiet, beautiful, well-kept place. 24 hour work-out room too. Nice outdoor pool. Friendly staff.

Nice located in Uptown Kingston. Poor service, othrwise a nice hotel.

This hotel is okay. The view from my room was not attractive. I had to untie the curtains to ensure that someone would not be seeing me from the neighboring apartment building. The disabled could not stay in this hotel - no elevators. The telephone in the room did not work. The registration attendee as well as the bell persons were very helpful. When I booked the room (via Hotels.com), the rate included breakfast. When I arrived, I was told continental breakfast (mis leading advertisement).

I recently stayed that Knutsford when i visited Jamaica for the horse sale and i must say the staff is so couteous and the service is amazing.If u are looking for a home away from home feeling stay st this hotel :)

The price was good, the hotel staff were friendly and nice, the rooms were well kept. It is close (about two blocks) to the business district and a shopping mall. The only drawback was the noise generated by what I believe was the air condition compressor when it came on.

this is my third stay at the knutsford Cout Hotel. The accomodation is great. I landed in JA on an early flight. even though the hotel's check-in time was three PM the staff was accomoditating and gave me a room at twelve noon. I like the dining room. On a previous stay I ordered the rib combo dinner and it was the most delicious dinner I had for a long time. he staff is couteous. There is a swimming pool and gym. On this stay from my balcony I had a view of the hotel's beautiful garden. I wish I could afford to spend a week in this relaxing atmosphere every year.

The hotel is not great, but better service could have made the stay more palatable.

Its ok, its for business people and people who dont have a life. They're Very stingy with their linens. One wash rag and bath towel person, no hand towel. Carpet in da room smells especially when you leave for da hold day and come back. Very plain to be call a hotel dispite of its business nature. Only would go back to avoid sleeping at family members.

Supported by its professional staff, the Knutsford Court Hotel offers a high quality of service to the guests of the hotel including visitors to The Melting Pot Restaurant. Its central location is convenient to business travelers, however, this is balanced by the welcoming family-friendly atmosphere.

The hotel is ok. They have done some much needed renovations since my last stay and more need to be done. I find it disturbing that most of the hotel staff is not very friendly. I don't like feeling like a burden when I have questions that need to be answered. Some of the restaurant staff are very nice and need to be moved over to the hotel check-in. I want to feel welcomed when I arrive at ANY hotel. I am the customer. Not much to see in the general hotel area.

Staff were very friendly, and helpful. Hotels in Kingston are a little old, and this one is no exception. For the cost, this hotel was quite good.

This hotel has the potential to be a good alternative for lodging in Kingston. The restaurant is above average and the location is good, but the quality of the rooms and facilities are below standard. I had to deal with a room in a second floor of a building with no elevator. No curtains in the windows of the room made placing any wake up calls unneccessary. That floor was also in renovations, and the workers started making noise before 9:00 a.m.,and they were not working, but rather having very loud conversations. This city is in desperate need of a hotel for budget concious business travelers. The big hotel chains need to take note and bring their brands here.

The atmosphere at Knutsford Court was clean, civilized, friendly, and without stress. Each department with which I interacted was guest-friendly, helpful, and polite. I was relaxed, rested, and refreshed.

I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel except for the air condition unit thst had a knocking and loud vibratng sound that deprived me of comfortable sleep.t.

Not having an elevator is a major deterrent. I had a team of 10 people baggage plus carryon departing early for airport and no elevator or bell man. We departed before bellman started work. Room service was extremely slow and so was check in

It ws quite adequate for the time we spent there. Not very far from the American Embassy and food at the hotel was great.

The Hotel was fabulous. l"he resturant produced excellent tasting food and the staff of both the hotel and the resturant were great. Compare to other hotels in the area the value for the money is first grade. We will stay there next time around.

Decent room w/ balcony over small garden. Very good Jamaican breakfast. As of March 2011, they are renovating another wing. Free access to AquaSol Beach we had to ourselves every morning.

The lobby is well maintained but the rooms aren't. The premises look fresh but the carpets inside are long due for steam cleaning. I saw cobwebs hanging from the windows and the ceiling. The walls are very good conductors of noise, you can clearly hear what others are whispering in the next room. This was the main reason for me to move out as there was a toddler next door and the music from his vocal chords wasn't really that sweet to my ears. The Melting Pot is a fairly decent place to eat within the premises of the hotel, little pricey but worth it for dinner time as you can't dare to step outside the hotel in night. Overall a decent place for tourists as most of the time you'd be outside, however for business travelers I'd suggest to add ~ 30 USD more and get a room in Wyndham with excellent rooms, awesome service, exceptional breakfast and peace of mind.

We had a great stay at this hotel, which exceeded all expectations. Best value for an affordable and comfortable stay in New Kingston. Melting Pot restaurant is highly recommended and service is of the best quality.

Very enjoyable stay. Customer service was the best I've seen in a very long time from check-in, restaurant, security and house-keeping. Even a young gentleman from maintanence went out of his way to assist me while I was there.

We are very happy with our stay. Looks like most of the guests are Jamaicans. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to lots of stuff (restaurants, shops, even Half Way Tree Bus Station). The room is clean with A/C and hot water (well, after 2 nights at Treasure Beach without A/C or hot water, we realize both are important. :)) Breakfast is included. It's continental, so it has pastry, bread, juice, etc. It also has egg and a meat which exceeded our expectation (the first day was sausage and the second day was bacon). The fruits are kind of blend though. Overall, a great place to stay.

Knutsfourd court on New Kingstonin läheisyydessä mutta turvallinen hotelli, portilla on vartija koko yön. Henkilökunta on todella mukavaa ja auttaa mielellään. Aamupalalle täytyy miehen muistaa laittaa hihallinen, siisti paita. Kyseinen hotelli ei ole niin kovin edullinen, mutta ainakin on viihtyisä. Parveke pelkkää plussaa ja uima-allas on oli hyvällä paikalla sisäpihalla!
