Everything was good, location is great.

Public toilets. Dirty and overflowing with paper towels. 6th floor smell of fish. No information on hotel or facilities in room. Hotels bath towel had wear tear. Heating didnt adjust. Swimming pool cold and not clean - orange peel all around and dirty water. Staff were excellent apart from they couldnt resolve Breakfast Included price so we had to pay, and the food at breakfast was poor - part cooked eggs, cold bacon, no water for tea, etc. Would I go again? YES. Staff and location made up for poor hotel

Staff outstanding, could not be more helpful, only drawbavk was that the room was warm, air conditioning minimal although could open window. Would still return as air conditioning is lacking all over Spain, the hotels have it but it is either weak or regulated as to hours of operation. Still found the hotel to be a 5.

The City of Arts and Science is an amazing place and is one of the main reasons we chose Valencia for a break. If you are looking to spend a lot of your time there, the Tryp Oceanic is an ideal choice. It must be one of, if not the closest hotel to the park. It was immaculate throughout the hotel and the staff were very friendly. The hotel also has a glass lift on the outside of the building so you get great views of the futuristic buildings as you are going to your room! There is a bus stop right outside the hotel ( bus number 35) that takes you into the Centre of Valencia, takes about 15 mins by bus. We also found that you can walk through the Science Park, up the River Turia walk (the old river) into the town which is very enjoyable. If you are looking for a city break that has everything including beaches, I think Valencia would be difficult to beat. It was our first time there but we will definitely be going back. Also worth noting is that you can get the metro to the hotel from the airport - it's about a 15 minute walk if you get off at Ayora and walk through the streets or you can get off at Almeadea and walk through the beautiful Rio Turia park and really get a taste for whats to come (about a 30 minute walk).

Overall the hotel was clean tidy and farily good location for the Beach and City Centre. Rooms are well kept and the rest of the hotel too. City Centre and Beach are about 20-30 mins walk to in either direction or 10 mins in a cab (approx 5-8 euros). One negative would be the pool it is not as big as it looks in pics and did not get much sun during the day due to its position. Not a total prob though as the fantastic beach more than makes up for it.

The room is not spacious but comfortable and clean. Location is great if your purpose is mainly to visit the City of Arts and Science. Buses are available to travel to town center. Breakfast is great! The only down side (a serious one for business traveller) is you have to pay for internet connection! Worse still is the lack of WIFI in the room. So even if u pay for the WIFI, you can get access only in the lounge. That is very inconvenient.

We booked this hotel for a flying two day visit to Valencia. If you are visiting the city of arts it is in a perfect location. There are a lot of local cafe's for food - and a big shopping mal, if you like that sort of thing. We also had a meal at the hotel cafe which was really good. The best way to get here is on the the no. 19 bus, which you can pick up near the station and on the town square. We used the metro when we arrived and it was quite a walk, especially in 40 degree heat. Nice pool and very nice breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay again, breakfast was very good, organisation generally very good and the hotel was very clean. My only comment would be that there was a wait for reception service sometimes longer than 10 minutes. One suggestion would be the availability near reception of more information on Valencia (a map was available but only on the last day of our visit).

I visited with my son who is an architect and wanted to visit he fantastic modern buildings which Valencia has to offer. Hotel was perfectly positioned for this, it was very clean, friendly, no faults really. I would say car parking is a little too expensive but you do gain piece of mind and also breakfast seems over priced so we went round the corner to a street cafe. Overall it's a good hotel.

Hotel had the best customer service I've ever had. The reception lady emailed and called hotels.com to help clear up a multiple booking issue I had. When we wanted to go watch a bull fight she told us to come back in 20 minutes and she would have an answer. She got a spread sheet with all The ticket prices and where the seats were. The bartenders and waiters were awesome. Highly recommend this hotel. Walking distance to science and arts area and a short but ride to city center.

The location of the hotel is great. Just a few minutes walk to the science exhibits and right near major bus routes to get you to the beach or downtown. My only complain is that the queen beds in europe are not really queens... they are just two singles pushed together. This always creates an uncomfortable seam in the middle of the bed. This is not just an annoyance at Tryp, but every hotel I've been to in multiple countries.

Nice hotel, walking distance to the big science museum, aquarium, planetarium, etc. Bus 19 gets you to the beach strip in about five minutes. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance, but there are some. The hotel staff was very nice and attentive. The "free" wireless in the lobby is limited to the weather and a couple other sites, but even that didn't work when we were there. Internet in the room is kind of expensive. The breakfast bar was pretty good.

Overall very happy with our stay at Tryp in Valencia. Staff was very helpful and in a great location.

We stayed here for Easter 2011 and had a great time. The hotel is exactly as you expect - rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the hotel is well located with the Ciudad de Scienias/Deportes less then five minutes away, the beach and Old City just one 10 minute bus ride away. The only complaint I have is that we booked the "Room with View". We presume this was a view of the Cuidad de sciencias/deportes. Our room was on the seventh of ten floors and its worth pointing out that there are a couple of new blocks of flats that block the view now.

We visited Valencia during the festival of Las Fallas. The hotel is located very close to the very modern buildings that include the Opera/Theater, Interactive Science Museum, etc. The hotel is in walking distance of Old Town if you are a good walker. There is a good bus system to take you to the Old Town. The train stops in the Old Town. The staff speaks English and is very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here for 4 nights and would return again.

We were very happy with this hotel during our four week, five European country stay. The hotel room was nice, clean and the bathroom was excellent. The staff is highly professional. The location is great for the aquarium and other museums but is a bit limited on walking to restaurants. The hotel breakfast buffet is certainly not worth the cost but overall, it was a great stay.

Very nice hotel except that the AC was on the fritz and it didnt get fixed the day that we stayed here. But the location is nice and it was near Science City which was a cool tourist attraction. Good value for the money barrig the 16 Euro for parking.

The hotel was great and close to a centro commercial with a movie theater and places to eat. It was also easy to get to the center and the beaches. It is more of a "family" hotel though and not super hip. The buffet breakfast is totally worth the 8E!!!

We could not fault our choice of hotel, which is within easy reach of the beaches, the futuristic buildings and the main centre of valencia.Bus stops are within 200metres and at 1.25euros for a trip to the centre are a cheap form of transport.

You couldn't get any closer to the L'oceanograph if you tried. There are 2 massive shopping mall's near by with plenty of places to eat. Lovely chinese acrosss the road from the hotel. We were allowed to check in early as we arrived at 11am. Beautiful city, definately a must place to see. Take a walk in the gardens and stop for a few beers....bliss!

Loads of places to eat nearby. Excellent connections to Marina,Beach and Old Town via 19 bus. Metro fairly close. Nice little outdoor pool, in sun late afternoons plus small gym and allday rooftop sunbathing on top floor. Next to 'City of Science and Arts' and large shopping centre with supermarket. Great Value

The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. The location was perfect for our trip. It was right near the arts and sciences museum and the surrounding park, which is a great place to walk or run. There is a bus that stops a block away that takes you to the beach or, in the other direction, the old city. The breakfast was overpriced but there is plenty of food in the neighborhood.

Fabulous room for the hotels.com price. We liked the hotel so much that we stayed an extra two days., although they wouldn't honor the hotels.com price. We had to go back online and book more days.

Hotel was very nice, located right across from the science center. Easy to get into centre of Valencia, one bus takes you right to the center, and if you take the bus the other direction to the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night, but it was so so close to the La Ciudad de las artes and sciences which is what we wanted to see! On the way to the train station my travelling companion was dying for a starbucks and we had asked the front desk agent for the location of the nearest one, when she saw the cab driver struggling to understand where we wanted to go, she ran outside to explain it to him! So nice... The pool is lovely too. Just don't neglect to notice you need to put your room key in the holder to turn on the electricity in the room.

En este caso se tiene merecidas las 4 estrellas. Me gusto, todo correcto. Ni mas ni menos detalles, los que tiene que tener. Lo aconsejo, sobre todo si vais a ver la ciudad de las artes y de las ciencias se va andando. la playa cerca. Buen desayuno, etc.

Me ha encantado este hotel no solo por el trato sino por la calidad,no oyes ningun ruido del exterior ni de las demas habitaciones ,que eso es muy importante.Esta muy bien situado para ir a la ciudad de las ciencias.Es facil aparcar en sus alrededores y se encuentra junto a un corte ingles y un centro comercial.

Nuestra estancia en el Hotel fue agradable. Próximo del Oceanográfico, que era lo que queríamos ver. Mejor impresión por fuera que por dentro. Se deberían cuidar ciertos detalles (elementos de servicio: cepillos, gel ...; cuidado en las habitaciones: deterioro interior)...). La atención muy correcta, pero debería tener más información del entorno: zonas turísticas, información sobre el plano, salidas de la ciudad hacia otras porvincias ..., parece que conocen el Hotel, pero no los alrededores. La conexión wifi me pareció lenta. Un desayuno excepcional. Apesar de todo, si tuviera que volver, sin duda lo elegiría de nuevo.

La parte más positiva del hotel además de habitaciones amplias (nosotros que teníamos una cuna ) es que es una zona tranquila, al lado de la ciudad de las ciencias y la artes y con aparcamiento. Al lado de un corte inglés con parada de autobús que en 8 minutos te lleva al centro.

Hotel magnífico, situado a la lado de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Las instalaciones son estupendas y la atencion fantástica. El desayuno buffet muy bueno. Además el hotel está situado junto al centro comercial AQUA con tiendas, restaurantes, cines,... Recomendable 100%. Un auténtico placer.

Enfrente de la ciudad de las ciencias y las artes. Bien comunicado, por autobús, con el centro de la ciudad y la zona de la playa. Muy cerca de la avenida de la alameda, en donde hay diversos restaurantes. Buena limpieza y comodidad, habitación amplia, pero el desayuno y el parking del hotel resultan demasiado caros. Es posible aparcar en los alrededores, aunque difícil en horario de trabajo.

Las camas no son muy comodas lo demas muy bueno

Durante la nostra permanenza abbiamo avuto ogni tipo di assistenza. Il personale è simpatico e disponibile e la cucina del ristorante è ottima. Ottima la posizione, per chi come noi, ha raggiunto Valencia in Aereo e desiderava visitare in particolare l'Oceanografico e la Città della Scienza.

Dicht bij de Stad der Kunsten en naar het centrum een kwartiertje lopen en je bent bij de metro. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid. In de omgeving zijn heerlijke restaurantjes.

Elegimos este hotel ya que íbamos a la Campus Party y queríamos estar lo más cerca posible de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, sin renunciar a la comodidad. Destacar la atención impecable de todo el personal. Se nos dio una habitación con vistas por una demora de un par de minutos en el check-in. Se nos obsequió con una botella de vino, no se muy bien por qué :) La habitación era estupenda: práctica y agradable. El aire acondicionado funciona de maravilla y se puede regular en el punto justo. Si un día no pueden limpiarte la habitación por que hayas dejado el cartel de no molestar te dejan un papel por debajo de la puerta para que les contactes y te la limpien. Y por supuesto, tiene piscina, con un rincón en plan chillout, muy de agradecer en un hotel urbano. Los alrededores son muy bonitos y hay todo tipo de servicios: bares, restaurantes, Corte Inglés, dos centros comerciales.. En resumen: un hotel totalmente recomendable!

Mycket trevligt hotell. Det var rent och snyggt och personalen var trevlig. Likaså var frukostbuffén perfekt! Sängen kunde varit lite mjukare (men normal standard för Spanien)...

Fue una sorpresa que en valencia no haya zumo de naranja natural para el desayuno y que las naranjas servidas en rodajas para el desayuno no sean buenas...

Bra läge nära shopping och museer. Väldigt bra frukost till rimligt pris. Gångavstånd till stranden.
