We were blown away by this hotel, by far the nicest hotel we have stayed in Europe. Possibly ever. Very large room, extremely large bed, and so comfortable, nice large bathroom. The staff were fantastic, offering great suggestions for eateries in town. The hotel itself is an historic building and ,any other monuments are only a few mintues stroll away. Food was extremely cheap in the town. My only regret was that we didn't have more time here. It wa only a stopover on our way to Seville, would have forgone a night in Seville for a extra night of luxury here

An excellent hotel convenient to all the major tourist sites. Will try to book it again next time.

We stayed at the AC Palacio San Esteban our first evening in Spain. The hotel staff was very helpful and our room was clean with a wonderful view.

This is a totally charming hotel in a fabulous location in the old city. The staff were helpful and congenial, the room was great and the on-site parking was most convenient. There was only one slight disappointment. The hotel was not really busy at this holiday time and the hot food at the buffet was a little stale when we arrived at mid-time for breakfast. The rest of the buffet was beautiful and our dinner there was wonderful.

This is a fabulous hotel in a great location. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable and rooms were fabulous. Free unilimited mini-bar was a huge hit. This is a great hotel chain with free internet access and use of computer and printer.

My friend and I truly enjoyed our stay at the San Esteban. Front desk extremely helpful and grounds were immaculate. Great location and for the price, you really can´t beat it. Staying at LeMeridian in Barcelona and it doesn´t even come close to the San Esteban. Salamanca is a wonderful city and so is this gem of a hotel.

What a great location in Salamanca, Spain historic district. Can walk to everything. Hotel converted from the old convent had a great feel. Room was large, bed was very comfortable and hotel staff were able to speak some english. Clean and new.

Excellent hotel. Well located, easy to find. Good value. We paid 70 euros approx for a room with large double bed, bathroom with bath and shower. However, we thought 14 euros each for breakfast was a bit much so we had breakfast at a cafe nearby. Car park good 10 euros a night and we left it there for the whole morning the next day when we were sightseeing.

Salamanca was intened to be a stop-over on a drive from Porto to Madrid. How we wished we had stayed longer! The hotel was absolutely superb! A great mix of rustic and modern. Fantastic bathroom. Had to pay for parkin g(10 euro plus tax), which was a bit of a bother considering the price of the room, but was still an excellent stay.

Sehr gut, aber: 1) Das WiFi muss heute in jedem Zimmer funktionieren. Es ist unzumutbar, irgendwo in der Lobby arbeiten zu müssen. 2) Das Frühstück sollte grundsätzlich inkludiert sein, auch im gegenständlichen Preis. G.B.

Bel hotel confortable Une piscine serait la bienvenue,mais surtout un espace extérieur de repos avec quelques chaises longues devrait ètre créé.

El hotel está en un lugar inmejorable. Pleno centro histórico. Muy fácil acceso a todos los lugares de interés. En cuanto al hotel en sí, muy bueno pero menos bueno, no peor, sino menos bueno de lo que cabría esperar. No tiene piscina, por ejemplo, y creo que debe ser básico en este país una piscina en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Los arreglos que se le han hecho al palacio son muy bonitos, las vistas inmejorables. Una pena que nuestras habitaciones quedasen junto al ascensor del personal del hotel o algo así. Un ascensor muy deteriorado por fuera, algo que nunca debe estar a la vista en un hotel de esta categoría. El acceso a las habitaciones es laberíntico ya que debes subr una planta, ir por un pasillo, después volver a otro ascensor, etc, etc. El personal de recepción muy amable sin ser pastosos. El párquing, exterior, nos lo cobraron y nunca se nos dijo que se nos fuera a cobrar, detalles feos, fueron pocos euros pero no pensamos que por tener el coche fuera nos fueran a cobrar o que al menos nos lo dijeran antes de hacer el check out. En general es un buen hotel, no puedo hablar de la comida y demás pero en cuanto a servicios creo que las 5 estrellas le van un pelín grande, el entorno y el edificio sí son 5 estrellas, sin duda. Comprobadlo vosotros/as mismos/as.

El Hotel es espectacular, tanto la ubicaion como las instalaciones son excelentes, el desayuno es bueno, pero no de un cionco estrellas, quien sabe ese es el unico punto flojo del Hotel

Très bon produit. Seul dommage, l'accueil qui n'est pas à la hauteur d'un tel standing: une succéssion de jeunes gens à l'accueil qui faisaient le strict minimum et souvent le regard rivé sur un écran.

in 1 woord: wow!

It has 5 stars but that is over the top. Has not the service levels of 5 stars. It is however a fine Hotel for a fair price in a wonderful city.
