I have stayed different hotels and I felt this was the best hotel for this price range. It was closed to everywhere, markets, dry cleaning places etc. I felt like home staying here.

Not too bad. Very accommodating when I requested a room with a view. The furniture and general upkeep was satisfactory however I think my room was located in the 'old' part of the hotel. Spoke English and always checked to clarify what I was requesting.

It was a such a easy location with nice places to eat, close to everywhere that I needed to go. In addition, I loved the shuttle bus to coex provided by hotel but would have been nicer if they informed return informations as well.

The hotel was pleasant, I was dissapointed with my room. When I booked the description was a superior room with a view of the Han River. In fact I doubt if many rooms do in fact have a river view. The hotel was altered 5 years ago and lost some views. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. When I say hard, the floor in comparison was soft!! Also, there was no WiFi connection in the room as advertised, you could get internet using cables. WiFi was only available in the lobby. I feel that this hotel did not give the value promised I could have chosen better if the description of the services were more transparent.

I stayed here with my wife before leaving for our honeymoon. The lobby is nice and the staff was cheerful and kind while checking us in. We stayed in a Luxury Double room on the 12th floor. It was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The room was clean and smartly furnished. The bathroom was also nice and large with a high quality selection of toiletries. It also had the best shower I've ever used... incredible water pressure!

If breakfast is not included, then it's a bit expensive. A few coffee shops nearby, but only a short taxi to all the cool spots in Gangnam-Gu. Room was comfortable, good shower, pleasant service from staff.

Hotel is directly accessible from/to Incheon Airport via Airport bus 6010. Hotel staff are friendly/helpful and able to speak english. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is near Coex, Apgujeong and Cheongdam-dong. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel for a weekend in Seoul. Stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. Easy walking distance to the closest subway. COEX mall a 20 minute walk away. Highly recommend.

I don't usually write reviews, but I depended heavily on other's reviews or my stay in Korea, so though I should write one. This hotel was very clean and organized - solid 4 star. Most of the staff spoke some English, and they were all quite helpful. The location is not next to any major shopping, night life, etc., but also not far by taxi. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it. Only negative point is that I would not use the sauna/spa again, as it is clearly geared only towards Asians, and they were obviously uncomfortable dealing with a westerner.

I left my phone in a cab and the staff had it back to me in 20 minutes. Most of staff spoke good english. The only downsides were gym didn't open til 6AM and bed was a little hard. Other than that a great hotel.

The hotel was clean and beautiful. However, the air conditioner would not work at night and the room was hot. When we asked about this, they informaed us that the hotel a/c could not work at night during this time of the year. It was set to only work in the day. We explained that it was extremely hot and we could not sleep. They brought us a small circulating fan and the attendant said he was sorry ofr our trouble. Also, we purchased two glass of hot chocolate and the bill for that was equal to $34. I would definetely NOT recommend anyone stay here.

I found the staff to be very helpful and courteous, The overall hotel facilities are very good if a little on the expensive side. I didn't eat at the onsite restaurant, buffet, or pub mainly due to previous plans with friends, but I found the prices to be a little high compared to other restaurants in the area. Based on what I was able to see, the food looked to be fresh and well prepared. I did take advantage of the onsite 24-hr massage and spa, and I found it to be a nice break from the hustle and bustle of Seoul. While the massage was very good, I have had comparable massages for much less. The biggest draw for this is the convenience of not having to travel when you are finished. My biggest complaint is that the room was advertised to have a large bathtub, and only came equipped with a shower. The shower was nice, but one of the things I look for in hotels is a place to soak and enjoy a tub. I don't have that where I live in Korea, and I was really looking forward to the luxury. Overall I would rate this hotel at around 3.5 to 3.75 stars. It doesn't quite live up to the 4 star level, but I would certainly consider it in the future.

The customer service was excellent, from the door men, to the bell men, to the front desk employees and the management. The initial room, in the older part of the Hotel, was rather small. However the manager relocated us to the new part of the Hotel where the room was perhaps 25% larger. This made a huge difference. The location of the Hotel is fantastic; near the Han River and only a mile or so from Coax, the fantastic mall. The free internet in the room was of course very useful, especially since this was a working vacation for us.

We had stayed at the Lotte earlier in our trip, it was more expensive, but more comfortable. The beds at the Riviera were really firm, kind of uncomfortable.

the whole hotel smells like one big ashtray. the staff was great and accommodating. they went out of their way to please the customers. but the hotel will have to do something about controlling the cigarette smell.

EXCELLANT SWIMMING POOL AND FITNESS FACITLITY. Very usefull to relax at the end or b4 of a long biz day.

The Hotel Riviera in Korea- great, beautiful hotel, awesome neighborhood, the service is fast, hospitality is very welcoming, staff have great attitude and are willing to help.

Comparede to the nearby Intercontinental hotels this is a great option - a little farther away from COEX but great value, great gym - beds are little hard however that is Asia in general though. To save $100 a night compared to Intercon - absolutely!

The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were a bit hard, but fairly comfortable. It was not that close to the COEX, but one could walk there in 20 minutes.

Short business visit. Received all the help I wanted from the staff. Very good impression of your service and room environment.

Was there on business & have found it to be of good services and clean rooms comfortable to have a good sleep Will stay there again on my next trip

I picked this hotel at random. It's convenient for CoEx. Not so convenient for the Gangnam station area where all the action is. The beds are rock hard. It's clean and acceptable but I won't be going back there.

Good hotel with good facilities including the sauna and massage. Convenient location and a very helpful staff. Although it is in the business district, a bit far away from the tourist spots, but 20 mins by taxi to most of the spots in North side of the city across the river. I definitely recommend staying here.

The Riviera is not a "Intercon" and is not resting next to COEX but at half the price it is well worth it. The bed was alittle hard and the desk chair was not the best for sitting long periods on the PC but again for the price and not far fro everything (you can walk to COEX - or a cheap cab ride) I'll be back. everyone at the hotel is very friendy and they are not slugging you for basics like internet - great value in Seoul!

Check-in was completed in less than 5 minutes. Even though the official check-in time was 12 pm, the front desk allowed us to get to our rooms when we arrived earlier at 10.30 am. The Cheongdam subway station is 5 minutes walk and COEX Mall 10 minutes. Staff were polite and helpful and the room was very clean with a nice firm mattress - very good for our backs.

Wanted a neat hotel stay with a swimming pool for our daughter. But she had to be 13 of age in order to get in to the pool. Then the purpose on staying at the hotel was at no use. Pitty ...

I went to Seoul for a weekend trip with my girlfriend and stayed in hotel Riviera. The hotel was nice inside with many restaurants and sauna/pool facilities and staff were helpful: we were helped by the concierge desk on finding our way and picking restaurants. Our room was nice size but a bit cumbersome with an uncomfortable bed and slightly strange furniture arrangement with a desk in the middle of the floor. the hotel location wasn't ideal with a half an hour train journey to most of the sights we wanted to see. Although travelling using the underground was easy and very cost efficient, i'd recommend staying somewhere north of the river for easier access to sightseeing spots.

Great location for business in Kangnam district. Efficient and tentative service throughout the stay. Definitely will stay again and again for next visit to Seoul.

The stay was overall good. The hotel is very nice and clean. We weren't really expecting the hotel to be this great. Check-in and check-out was very quick. The staff was very helpful. As far as the rooms, we had 3 beds in our room and were only expecting 2 which was a plus, because we each had our own bed. The only issue is, the beds were very hard, and the lighting wasn't very good. The bread shop downstairs was very nice as well as the sky lounge(very comfortable). We did order room service and it arrived very quickly. The location was also decent. The COEX Mall is just a few blocks down as well as the subway stations. Cabs aren't too expensive either. This stay was overall better than expected and I would recommend this hotel for other visitors.

ラグジュアリーツインにエキストラベッドを入れてもらい、女性3名で泊まらせていただきました。チェックインで担当されたスタッフは愛想がなく、つっけんどんな感じだなーという印象でした。部屋に入るとしっかりした作りのベッドが入っていて、そこは良かったのですが、ティーカップが二つしかなかったのでもう一つ頼んだところ、ほどなく届けに来てくれた若い男性は無言でずかずかと入ってきてカップを置き、こちらがお礼を言っても何の反応もなく、無言のまま出て行きました。その後変圧器の貸出を頼んで運んで来てくれた年配の女性もやはり無愛想で、ドア前で渡すや否やそそくさと帰って行かれました。もちろん良い対応をされる方もいらっしゃいましたが、そこそこランクの高いホテルでしょうに、従業員教育はどうなっているのでしょう？

Hotellet ligger helt ok. Men sängen var det värsta jag upplevt under de år jag rest. Och med tanke på att det är 4stjärning så förstår jag inte. Det var bäddat direkt på fjädermadrassen. Så alla spiralfjädrar gick in i kroppen... Sen var det inte rent på rummet, men efter tillsägelse var det löst.

韓国に行くのは今回が初めて。江南地区にあるということで散々悩みましたが、結果的には大正解、大満足でした！ ツインルームでしたが、部屋は広く清潔だし、バスルームが広々していてとても良かった。トイレはウォシュレット付き！シャワーも固定と取り外しができる２種類がついているなど、設備も整っていました。料金的にもとってもリーズナブルだと思います。 駅から遠いというレヴューを読んで心配していましたが、７５の母でも歩ける距離でしたよ。通り道にはコンビにもあり、便利でした。 ミョンドンまでは地下鉄で３０分ぐらい。乗り換えも簡単でした。 それからアックジョンにも歩いて行けました。ここまではチョッと遠かったかな？でも、私一人だったら全然問題ない距離でした。なので３泊４日の滞在中、タクシーは雨が降った日の１回しか使いませんでした。 ホテルの方々は、皆さん親切でした。韓国語を英語に訳してもらったり、代わり電話をかけてもらったり、色々してくれました。 次に韓国に行った際にも是非利用させていただきたいです！
