Great location, the beach is a 5 min walk. Breakfast is good. Nice roof top terrace.

Clean but small rooms. Very friendly and professional staff. Noise does carry through the thinner walls. Would recommend for price and location.

Like most Windsor the staff are great, friendly, and helpful. Most speak English. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food but it's certainly not at the level of Windsor Atlantica. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and they're certainly better than other 3.5 star hotels in the area. On the other hand, the bathrooms are rather spacious. It's in a good location right on the border of Copacabana and Leme, though not facing the beach it's about a 5 min walk. I prefer Windsor Atlantica, but this is a great alternative to the 4 and 5 star hotels if you want to save a bit of money.

Good. 1.Good water pressure in the shower. 2. Decent bathroom. 3. Comfortable bed. 4. Nice location. It's not Ipanema, but it's good. 5. Kickstart your day with good free breakfast. Food in Rio is very very expensive, triple the price in Paris or Geneva, so this saves you a lot of time and energy. 6. This is not a luxury hotel, but a practical option; and I compare with the Sofitel or Sheraton in Rio.

The hotel is well situated at the far end or beginning end of Copacabana beach and thus is surrounded by neighborhoods that have shops, restaurants and grocery stores that a bit more local patronized rather than the neighborhood right on Copabana Beach. The hotel meets all the requirements and for the price it was great. The included breakfast is always the same but that seems to be the case at all the hotels there in RIo. I would stay there again or at any of the Windsor hotels. There are three or four in the area of different standards.

Had two tiny single beds instead of double I reserved. No hot water to shower for two days. Breakfast was very good. Desk service and valet team were excellent. Rooftop pool a bit small but a nice feature. Expensive food and drink. Lots of staff spoke English very well. Good location, walking distance to beach and the whole Copa scene. Big brothel on the same block but that can be said of most of Rio.

During my stay in Rio, I used two different hotels. the Plaza is much better than the other. The only bad thing is that the room was not very quiet during the nights. Lots of noise came through from the aisle and next rooms. Other than that, I was satisfied.

I am not pleased at all I was paying for two adults and some morning My friend and myself would eat breakfest and not be charged and other days they would charge me I am paying for two adults and my breakfest was included I dont undersdtand

It was a great experience but the van service was not available when I needed to return to the airport and one of the reasons why I selected to stay at that hotel.

We totally enjoyed this hotel. The room was small but well appointed, clean and recently redecorated. Amazing breakfast buffet. 2 blocks from Copacabana Beach. Free wifi that worked well. Small rooftop pool, with nice bar and restaurant and absolutely beautiful panoramic view. The front desk staff was always helpful and their recommendations spot-on. Reasonable room rates. This is a gem.

My wife and I decided to have our last days in Rio as part of our Brazil honeymoon. We were really worried as to what to expect but in the end we were really impressed with the hotel. Its worth the money.

Room was basic but clean. Staff was very helpful. Nice buffet breakfast which was included and offered free shuttle to airport that was very far away from Copacabana.

A excellent hotel, a great location, and a good value

Good location a few blocks from the beach and about 5 blocks from the mall in the opposite direction.The staff was very nice and the rooms were clean and well kept.The food was fresh and well prepared and the prices were not bad for Rio. There are a coupple of strip clubs between the hotel and the beach, but they semed to be very low profile and I don't see a problem with walking by them with kids. I was in Rio on buisness but plan on returning to the same hotel on vacation with the family after the new year. For the price, it's a very good deal and I would recommend it to others.

Wall has water seepage (and fungus) but they were having some plumbing problems. Bad note - we were charged for a chocolate bar we didn't even see and hence didn't eat. Don't know how this would happen but I guess it's hard to control these things unless there is a scanner code. But the front desk staff and waiters in the restaurant were terrific and helpful. Food at breakfast was excellent as well.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Its only a short walk to the beach and the hotel provides a towel and umbrella service for that purpose. The rooftop pool and snack bar area was nice, even if the pool itself was a bit small. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. In fact the front desk staff spoke very good English which was helpful since I only speak "survival" amount of Portuguese. The only thing I would complain about is that the hotel room walls seem to be very thin. Each time a neighboring room flushed its toilet or used the shower, it was so loud that it would wake both me and my wife during the night.

don't get the 509, it had a mold ceiling.

The rooms were decent. The best part of my experience was the hotel's proximity to the Copacaba beach (only 2 blocks away). Unfortunately you have to walk past a few hookers and clubs to get to the beach. I would like to have had internet included in the room price (extra 10 bucks US per day). During high season a good value.

Great service. Room was dingy. About $50 cab ride from International Airport and an hour away in traffic (only 20 minutes without traffic).

The staff was very nice, however, when I thought of the hotel chain Windsor I thought of luxurious accommodations and a beautiful hotel in general. With the Windsor Plaza, our air conditioning didn't even work for the first day we were in the room. We had to call maintenance and wait a couple of hours before they were even able to come up to the room. The walls... PAPER THIN. I didn't hear it because I was so jet lagged, but my boyfriend "heard" people next door during the night. You could hear every door slam, every person talk in the hall, you could hear children cry, you could even hear the toilets above us. For the money we paid, I was a little upset. I was incredibly disappointed with the accommodations. The hotel was also stingy with the towels, only giving us two in the room at a time. Also, the sheets were not changed once the entire time. There was a stain on our sheets that did not go away the entire time. The floors were also hardwood and you could see the sand that we had tracked in from the beach the entire duration of the stay. Needless to say I feel incredibly ripped off for the price that I paid for the accommodations. If you still choose to stay at this hotel, don't turn left when you go out the front door. The streets behind hotel are very shady looking.

Viel zu meckern gab es nicht, alles stimmt bei diesem Hotel. War eine Woche da während des Carnavals, in dieser Zeit einfach sehr teuer. Ist eher ein Businesshotel, daher etwas lieblos. Aber Service und Sauberkeit absolut ok.

Os funcionários muito educados e solícitos,café a manhã muito bom,mas o quarto deixou a desejar devido a tv ainda convencional e mal localizada e não tem edredon ,somente cobertor! Cobertor em pleno RJ????!

Poucos hotéis me surpreendem. Este conseguiu. É mais do que eu esperava. Claro, que nao é tão top e luxuoso como alguns da Atlântida, mas vale muito a pena pelo custo benefícios e é bem confortável e de ótima localização. Recomendo. Vá seguro, principalmente se achar os outros muito caros ou se tiver dúvidas.

Muito bem atendido desde a chegada, funcionários atenciosos e eficientes (fora do padrão dos serviços do Rio em geral). Fiquei no quarto superior nos fundos. Bom, amplo, limpo, silencioso. Estacionamento sem problemas. Cobertura com ótima vista, bom serviço de bar, porém piscina na verdade é um tanque. O melhor é o chuveiro... rs. Ótima localização, utilizei carro, taxi, ônibus, metrô. Fui pra praia e pro shopping a pé. Perfeito. Sem erro.

Muito boa, café da manhã excelente, funcionários educados e trabalho em equipe visivelmente entre os funcionários.

correct mais chambre tres petite

Cheguei às 23h do dia da reserva que eu havia feito, e houve um mal entendido sobre o meu quarto, acabei dormindo a primeira noite em uma suíte mais simples do que a que eu havia reservado. Como pedido de desculpas, no dia seguinte me ofereceram um quarto bem mais luxuoso que o da reserva. Fiquei muito satisfeita! O buffet de café da manhã é excelente, tem de tudo. E todos na recepção são muito solícitos. A única observação que tenho é que os quartos não possuem a entrada de tomada com o novo padrão brasileiro, e não dispunha de adaptadores. Mas é apenas um comentário, pois o atendimento realmente foi muito bom!

Wir waren 6 Tage im Windsor Hotel im Superior Doppelzimmer. Das Zimmer war sauber. Ablageflächen wenig, mit dem Tisch kann man sich aber arrangieren. Zu bemängeln ist, dass die Toilttenspülung so laut ist, dass man diese nachts nicht betätigen sollte, ohne alle anderen zu wecken. Auch wenn das Nachbarzimmer duscht stört dies erheblich (laut). Wir hatten zum Glück Nachbarn "mit gleichem Rhythmus". Frühstück ist gut, Rührei, Brötchen, frisches Obst, Müsli, hier sollte jeder etwas finden. Metro ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch an der Coppacabana ist man gleich.

O hotel está muito bem localizado, perto da Av. Atlântica e em boa rota para os táxis. Há opções de restaurantes perto. Não gostei dos itens do banheiro, as toalhas e o secador. Bem ruinzinhos. A piscina, localizada no piso superior, na verdade está mais para um tanque. Bom café da manhã. Wi-Fi funcionou sem problemas. Problemas com as tomadas elétricas. Quem tiver aparelhos já com o modelo novo de 3 pinos tem que levar adaptador, pois as tomadas do quarto são antigas e o hotel não disponibiliza adaptadores. A grande questão é o preço cobrado. Rio continua muito caro para turismo. O preço da diária deste hotel que é um 3 estrelas em minha opinião, equivale a um de 4 estrelas em São Paulo ou em outro lugar. Não condiz com os serviços oferecidos.

Muy buen hotel, muy bien ubicado, cerca de supermercados y de la playa. La atención es excelente. El único problema fue con el motor del aire acondicionado ya que sonaba mucho. En general es un hotel muy recomendable, incluso necesitaba hacer el check out a las 14:00 hrs y no me hicieron ningún problema. Saludos

El hotel esta en una ubicación inmejorable, cerca de la playa de copacabana y la avenida atlantica; excelente la calidad del servicio y la atención de los empleados, la habitación era pequeña pero con los servicios básicos excelentemente prestados. Además en Rio el hotel se usa solo para descansar. Totalmente recomendado por el precio / beneficio y los servicios adicionales que se pueden adquirir. Ejemplo tours guiados, spa, sauna, piscina, internet sin cargo y boleteria para partidos de futbol, lo cual si uno es fanatico es un muy buen plus. 10 puntos
