Booked sea view was given a room with a large rock in front they did change after we would not accept it. Bed very hardand room slightly outdated. You need a car if staying here as there is nothing in the area. Hotel very nice inside plus 2 lovely pools. Reception when booking out did not even ask if we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Baia Taormina for six nights and would certainly return if we were to visit this area again. The hotel is situated a fifteen minute drive north of Taormina. However, the hotel provides an excellent shuttle service to and from Taormina throughout the day and evening. Although we had a car we took advantage of the shuttle service as parking in Taormina is very difficult. The hotel is situated in a quiet, relaxing area. It has a wonderful pool area which can be accessed by a lift and has great views of the sea. The hotel offers beach facilities free of charge but the beach area for the hotel is is a good distance away. We enjoyed the pool area so much we didn't bother to venture to the beach. There are some interesting places to visit nearby including Forza D'Agro and Savoca where various clips from "The Godfather were filmed. The hotel itself is a little dated and could benefit from a bit of of a facelift but it is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and attentive. ive never taken 3 elevators to get to a hotel room before! im not complaining, just stating a fact! the hotel was really really nice, the sea view, the rooms, and the hotel itself was very clean. the pool area was fantastic as well, although the time we went, early september, there werent as many staff as there should have been. we recommend you do NOT eat dinner at the hotel - taormina is a short drive away, and the restaurants there are so much better and cheaper too. the hotel billing could use a major update - i really got sick of signing paper bills, i mean come on its the 21st century! all in all, its a nice hotel for a quiet peaceful vacation. oh, and be prepared for many wedding receptions here since its so picturesque!

Bâtisse magnifique, cadre splendide et très haut potentiel! Par contre à l'entretien navrant! Nous avons eu l'impression que tout l'entretien est laissé pour l'après-saison: joints sanitaires, peintures, accessoires etc ... Entretien idem pour la zone piscines. Pas de carte de repas, buffet c'est tout! Minibar minimaliste. Quelques chambres de-luxe et un SPA ne fonts pas un 4*. En suisse et dans bon nombres de pays à tradition hôtelière il reste à 3*. Si vous n'avez pas de véhicule, c'est compliqué: taxi ou navette de l'hôtel à heures fixes pouvant être surbookée. Le staff de nuit c'est avéré incapable de gérer les débordements nocturne d'un congrès. Pour les plus: La plage est belle, l'eau baignable même en octobre! Les chambres ont une vue imprenable sur la mer, les jardins et terrasses sont magnifiques. La directrice et une partie du staff administratif se sont avérés très compétents et ont sus compenser une partie de nos désagréments et le manque de formation du reste du personnel, service hum.. Si l'entretien s'améliore, cet hôtel est à recommander aux groupes, congrès etc... ou aux séjours de courtes durées si vous n'avez pas de véhicule.

L'hotel est très bien situé ; au bord de la mer ; chaque chambre dispose d'un petit balcon avec vue sur mer extraordinaire . Calme et confort ; Par contre pour se restaurer le buffet du diner est un peu cher !

guter Komfort, excellenter 5-sternmässiger Service, feines Frühstück allerdings ohne Life-Eierstation, zur Stadt und zum nächsten Strand 8 Kilometer entfernt. Empfehlenswert für Ruhesuchende die Qualität und Standards suchen

Jättefin utsikt från hotellet. Hotellet i sig känns väldigt konservativt inrett och nedgånget. Nere vid poolerna var bara den ena fylld med vatten och insekter. Luktade äggmök där nere, konstant! Plus för shuffle-bussarna som man kan använda sig av för att ta sig till stranden eller Taormina.

abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni in questo Hotel , abbiamo trovato molta cordialità ,competenza e professionaità in tutti i servizi offerti Hotel in una bellissima posizione , molto ben curato ,lo consiglio senza alcun dubbio !! complimenti a tutto lo staff dell'hotel Villa Sonia di Castelmola !!

The hotel is very recommendable. Everything was fine execpt for the breakfast. To get a simple cup of coffee was very difficult and took a long time each morning. The buffet was great - but often thing were not refilled. Otherwise a great experience

All'apparenza, già si evidenzia la bellezza e l'incastonamento delle varie strutture (camere, ristoranti e piscine) nelle roccie a strapiombo sul mare, rese ancora più belle, scendendo verso le piscine, dal verde lussureggiante e dalle scalinate per raggiungere i vari settori. Camere bene arredate, servizio eccellente per colazione e nei ristoranti, e inoltre ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo

un acces aux chambres un peu compliqué :3ascenseurs quelques couloirs et une passerelle.Il faudrait prevoir d'aider les clients a se retrouver dans ce jeu de piste de tres belles chambres belle vue

ottima cucina, vista eccezionale, peccato ci sia un solo ascensore che costringe a noiose attese. La pulizia delle camere deve migliorare per un quattro stelle!
