Close to everywhere. shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. had a wonderful time in Charleston and would stay here again.

Excellent stay. Professional and polite staff. Margaret was especially friendly and helpful.

Wonderful location, able to walk virtually anywhere in the historic district from this property. Our room was large and very quiet. Probably not the best place for kids, no pool, game rm. etc. Loved the continental breakfast delivered to the rm. and the afternoon wine and cheese held at the sister property next door. We had a delightful stay!

This hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I couldn't have asked for a better location right in the heart of Charleston. Notably, our room was extraordinarily quiet especially considering the central location. The complimentary continental breakfast was a perfect start to the day and the wine tasting in the evening was a great transition into the nighttime activities. I would stay here again without hesitation and will recommend it to others.

Great location, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms. Great location for the money! We were only steps away from the Market and enjoyed our breakfast in the room.

We just stayed at the Fulton Lane Inn one night. The location is great, but the cleanliness is not. We had dark hairs all over our bathroom floor and inside our bed. Continental breakfast was not anything to write home about and they gave us a yogurt that had expired a month ago. Would possibly stay there again just because of the good location.

We loved our stay at this historic inn. The off street parking behind the inn was great to have, the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. There are a few suggestions we would make: First, the reception area needs to be larger for the afternoon sherry tasting, as new arrivals must be able to get to the elevator. Second, the chair that was provided for our room's computer desk had seen better days; it needed to be replaced. Finally, warmer and more cheerful colors and perhaps more artwork on the walls would add a nice touch to the atmosphere. If you are looking for a fantastic location within historic Charleston, this inn cannot be beat; it is close to everything, but it feels private. The inn is competently staffed with polite and helpful personnel. The room we had was quiet, pleasant and clean; however, if you are looking for over-the-top luxurious charm, this is not the place for you. To get that, you will need to spend quite a bit more. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

This hotel was well located, parking was hard to find, and explanations difficult to understand. I give this hotel a fair rating, and we found a doubletree for for much less.

This hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. You have to pay for parking but once you park...you really don't have to move again. The room itself was beautiful...nothing my boyfriend and I had ever stayed in before. They bring you a light breakfast in the morning and the bathroom and closet are very spacious. Overall, it was a great stay.

Right in the heart of Historic Charleston. The staff was very courteous and extremely helpful. Our room was so nice. We had a 4 poster bed and a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Decorated in the Historic theme. Continental Breakfast brought to your room. Would definitely recommend!!

Hotel was very nice but expect more for the price. Comparable hotels nearby offer more amenities for the same price.

Great location in historical downtown Charleston. Close to stores, restraunts, and nighttime entertainment. Everything within walking distance of hotel, so no need to worry about getting in a car to see the local sites. Carriage ride through downtown was very informative on the history of the city.

I booked this hotel for our 17th anniversary. I wanted something close to everything and we got it with this inn. The breakfast delivered to your room was such a nice addition. The front desk was personable, and helpful. The only thing I found they could do better is a better shower head in the bath- very small stream...other than that which in my book is very small...they did a wonderful job. They even left a personalized Happy Anniversary card and special snack...what a nice touch!

This hotel is very charming and well maintained. It is very centrally located to all the main attractions, especially The Market in downtown Charleston, SC. The staff was very polite and helpful. In the lobby area, they serve coffee in the morning and sherry at night. The Inn was nostalgic all the way down to the real key to open the room, but with modern amenities. We would stay here again.

We loved the room and the location. We are already planning for the next time! People were great, and we were within walking distance to everything we wanted to do! AWESOME!!

Lovely hotel, quiet and clean. Staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations on where to eat.

Our stay was delightful. Staff is wonderful and very helpful. Located right in the middle of everything so you can walk or take a pedicab, Room was romantic, with a 4 poster bed. Bath was very clean and spacious. The only thing that would have made it perfect is the addition of 2 comfy chairs to sit in for reading. We will definetly stay there again.

The guest services at Fulton Lane Inn were fantastic. The location couldn't be in any better spot. Downtown and all the attractions were within a 5 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was helpful and nice. When the staff found out we were on our honeymoon they left some candy and a card of congratulations on our pillow. They also had our reoom cleaned during the day while we were out exploring as a nice little surprise. Normally, hotels wait until the next morning to clean. The staff was also helpful with advising where we could find some wonderful dining and we did! The restaurant they recommended was exceptional. My only complaint is the morning I was supposed to have breakfast delivered to my room. I called to let them know and the front desk blamed me for it and never apologized for the mistake. She stated that we put our sign outside our door to receive breakfast too early. We were advised to have it outside the door before 11:30pm. We put the sign outside that afternoon. How could it be too early? The earlier the better right.......maybe not. Other than that I had a wonderful time

We loved the fact that we could feel like we were in little piece history while we stayed in Charleston. We wanted something smaller and quaint rather than a huge hotel with tons of people. The breakfast in the room was great for mornings when we needed to get somewhere early. The location was great, walking distance from many of the tours. We never even used a cab or rented a car. We would stay again if we get back to Charleston.

Wonderful in all respects! From the hotel staff to the location, this is the best place in Charleston to stay. We had one problem with the internew not working so they moved us to a full suite. This hotel knows how to give service to their guest.

Quaint Inn above the shops on King Street. Not equiped with the creature comforts of newer hotels, but the room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, the service was excellent, the location almost unbeatable and the people at the desk will not steer you wrong when it comes to food, seeing the sites or whatever you may want to do.

The room was lovely, large, comfortable, and had a nice view of King Street. King sized antique bed really made me feel like I was in Charleston. Staff gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and even directed me to a wonderful outdoor arts festival that I would not have known about otherwise. Great location, good price, highly recommend this hotel.

The Fulton Inn is one of the finest and most comfortable hotels I've visited in quite some time! I have nothing negative to report about my stay there, which is quite uncanny! I'll be visiting again soon!

Very convenient location. Room was comfortable and nicely furnished without feeling stuffy. I liked the free breakfast delivery - nice touch! The check-in person gave us the suggestion to walk down Church Street to the water, saying it was one of the prettiest streets in Charleston. It really was beautiful. My one quibble was that the hotel.com listing said that the parking was included in the room fee, but it wasn't. Reading other reviews prepared me for this, so it wasn't a big deal. I'm not sure whose error it is (hotels.com or the hotel), but the list of features in the price of a room should not include a feature that you actually don't receive!

Once we found the parking, we were very pleased with the accomodations. The staff were very friendly and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect place to stay to actually walk around town. The complimentary wine tasting and breakfast served in your room were just an added bonus.

Stayed at the Fulton Lane in for two nights. The location of the hotel was wonderful. We parked our car a it never left the parking lot. We wre able to walk everyywhere. The overall service was great.The concierge was very helpful. We had a small problem about our hot water and it was fixed immediately. Her dinner reccomendations were wonderful. The room was charming with a four poster king bed. Breakfast delivered in the morning was an extra treat. I will return to the Fulton Inn in the future.

We were very pleased with the room and the overall location of the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay there again. Just a note: the lobby coffee is much better than what they bring to your room with breakfast.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Fulton Lane Inn. The concierge was very helpful and the location couldn't be better. We parked the car in the lot out back and didn't drive it again until we checked out. We loved the high ceilings and homey decor of the room, and enjoyed the complementary wine reception offered in the afternoon. The weather was incredibly hot while we were there and we were a little worried about the air conditioning in such an old building, but it worked great.

The hotel was ideally situated for exploring the Hidstoric District of Charleston. Everything was within easy reach. The receptionists were very helpful and well-informed. We had one minor plumbing problem - even though this was late in the evening, it was dealt with very quickly. The maintenace man could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
