I was expecting this hotel to be clean with a great location and I wasn't disappointed. It is exactly what I expected....nothing fancy, but big clean rooms with unbelievable views outside. There continental breakfast was on par with what I have had at other more expensive places. The hotel gives you a very homey feel...unlike the bigger more expensive hotels in the area. You are about 5 minutes to Lake Tahoe. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful area. Great room for the price. Breakfast was good.

Great dollar value!

I was concerned about the quality of this hotel from the pictures. Either they renovated or the pictures werent great. I loved this place, except that it had paper thin ceilings and walls. I heard noisy kids a lot, but the pros of this motel out-weighted the noise. Make sure you stay on the top level and you will avoid a lot of the noise. The rooms are big. try to get a room in the back. Nice continental breakfast, located close to Diamond Peak/Incline Village

The Parkside Inn is getting to be a tired motel. The room was large and clean with a flat screen T.V. and free Wi-Fi but the heating system was noisy and the halls are not heated at all. Since our trip was in March it was still cold weather. The pool is in the basement. The breakfast area was adequate with cold cereal, juice, coffee various buns, bread, and fruit offered each morning. Parking was ample and convenient. Incline Village has limited eating places for a casual meal and no eating places close to the Parkside Inn. This is a good place to stay for an inexpensive visit or short vacation.

This was a bargain compared to many hotels. Good price, basic continental breakfast, some covered parking, sizable room that has been updated. Very satisfied, and great value.

Hotel room was in very fresh condition, spacious, high ceilings, hardwood floors, feathery mattress topper and warm soft blankets, in-room soap and shampoo/conditioner dispenser, flat screen TV with many channel options. Small fridge but it had a slight odor to it. There was a wall heater and standing fan vs AC option. All staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. They were kind enough to give us connecting rooms and early check-in even though we had separate reservations. The only problem with our room was the water would keep flowing from the shower faucet even though the shower head was turned on all the way making the water fill the tub halfway up while showering. Location was less than a 5 min drive to Diamond Peak. Continental breakfast had a good variety, bagels, muffins, coffee, hot chocolate, yogurt and oats, etc.

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place. Everything about it was super cozy. The decorations both in and outside of the room were nice, the guy working the office was nice, the breakfast room was well decorated, had a fireplace and free bagels, pastries, cereal, coffee, milk, and more. The bed was really comfortable and we slept great. The heater kept the room nice and warm. The room had a nice little table and hanging lamp to sit at and the shower was really nice and powerful. I had no complaints at all about this place and I think this will be my hotel of choice from now on when I want to stay in North Lake.

Pleasantly surprised by the accommodations at such a reasonable price. Appeared recently remodeled. Continental breakfast was a bit above average. Wish I'd had time to check out the indoor pool. Unfortunately, no hot tub.

Very mountainesque, the feel and beauty of old Tahoe. Pride of ownership is evident, theme decorated to make guest feel at home in the mountains. This is a nice, clean, older facility that does not break the budget while giving a restful place to chill out after enjoying all Tahoe has to offer. Good job owners and your team; thank you for a nice place to excape. We'll see you again.

the first night went very well and when we came back on the 2nd night (8pm~) we learned that there's no hot water. called receptionist and only received "I'm so sorry" without fix the problem. Will not go back to Parkside Inn anymore. what a bad ending.

I stayed in a standard room. The layout was a little strange, but it was clean and recently updated. The location is perfect. About a mile from stores, restaurants and the hyatt. The wall heater could use a tune up and the towel rack was busted, but good value for the price overall. I'd definitely stay again.

It's perfect for our needs. Beds this time were extremely soft, too soft for us. But great location and price.

We really like this hotel for convienence and the indoor pool for the kids! Beds are comfortable. There is a small continental breakfast to start your day. However they have removed their carpeting and now have linoleum flooring which we were happy about until we saw the bottom of our feet...floors seemed clean but were very dirty and needed a mopping. Also the new flooring allows for a lot more noise in rooms so had a harder time sleeping.

I would recommend this inn for the lovely rooms, cleanliness, good location and breakfast. It's great value for money. The only gripe I had was the bed mattress, it would sink in completely on the part that I was sleeping on, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

We liked the new laminate floors in the rooms. Room was very clean. Nice free breakfast. Kids were bummed the jacuzzi wasn't working. Great location. We will definately stay again.

Nice comfortable room within driving distance of Tahoe's slopes. Friendly staff and clean room. Can't beat the price. However you do need a car to get anywhere including shops and restaurants.

The rooms are large and clean, beds comfortable and the free continental breakfast great (a lot more choices than expected). Location is great too. This is a really good value compared to others hotels on the area. We Would definitely stay here again.

We were here as a skiing romatic gateway. We got the hotel based on reviews, location and price. We didn't enjoy our stay here so I had to write a review to warn others. This hotel is awful! The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors whisper!!! The beds are tiny and not comfortable. The fridge is from 1960s and makes a lot of noise. No carpets, and no slippers provided, so you have to wear your shoes everywhere. There is a awful smell in the room (had to air the room-even though it was freezing outside) - it smells like mold+mildew+naphthalene. The towels smell like smoke. The soap and shampoo have also a very stingy smell - let's say I gagged several times. We have stayed in many many hotels/motels around the world. In our aweful hotels list, this hotel is in number 2 - number 1 is still a motel close to the airport in Marseille, France. Don't stay here!

We loved the rooms - especially the full force showers however, the wifi is VERY slow. Also, due to the hardwood floors, it is very cold in the winter to step on it so either take slippers or something. We asked for them to put down an area rug, but the maid just put a towel by the door. The breakfast is 'ok' - would be nice if they had some more variety. Overall, it's a nice/pretty/comfy room - apart from the cold floors.

This hotel is simple, spartan, and straightforward. The rooms have some attractive wood floors and the bathrooms feature new floor tile and fixtures (water pressure is tremendous, BTW, though the shower head is positioned low on the wall and hits you no higher than the chest or stomach). Beds could be better, though. My wife and I both sank towards the middle.The location is excellent, however, close to the Hyatt Regency, Incline Village and Mt. Rose. Friendly staff.

Hair on the pillows, dirty bathtub, slow drain, terrible water pressure from a shower that was too low for me and I am only 5'10" definitely detrated from the experience.

Great price and good location. We will definitely return.

Cozy, comfortable, good breakfast, easy to find, close to everything on north shore. Would stay here again! Only problem was Internet access is slow.

To bad that Jacuzzi don't work

Very nice staff and very accommadating. Helped me with phone numbers to local movie theater and gave me a map of area. Walking distance to conference and to beach park on Lake Tahoe, plus nice jogging path along very nice homes. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel rooms recently updated!

The hotel is convenient to the "action" but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The room had 2 double beds separated by a wall to provide a little privacy. The bathtub was great. I dubbed it "Big Bertha" as it is a big tub that makes it nice to soak in. The shower was really powerful too. Bed was OK, a little soft. The jacuzzi is closed due to some issues with the town according to a notice at the desk. Front desk was nice and helpful giving hike information. So its basic, clean and affordable.

We requested a handicap accessible room and we got one for a reasonable price. However, the front door stuck, meaning that my wife could never hope to open the door on her own, thereby automatically making the room unaccessible for her by herself. The room itself was large and more than adequate.

A picturesque room, but in reality, the hardwood floors were cold, the bed was too high and hard to get into, the soap dispensers were awkardly placed and hard to get to dispense anything. At 5'1" the room was not set up for me and would be even worse for a child. Too few plugs, barely any tv channels, no radio and no clock. 2 chairs at one small table next to heater and too hot to sit there when the heater was on. Oh and our "view" was the noisy parking lot and street.

We would stay there again thats all Ican say GREAT ROOM.
